Applied for a dedicated position on Driver Pulse and was given KKersey as a recruiter. She ran all my info and everything came back good. She said she could have me in orientation the coming week and that's the last I have heard from her. Fast forward almost a month. I've been calling, leaving multiple voice-mails, Driver Pulse messages, texting, emailing...

Covenant Transport is guilty of what is said out here and so much more. New employees are given little information, only false hopes. During training if the new driver is fortunate enough to get a favored trainer, they will get adequate miles. After training however, they are on their own. If they fit into the underground culture chances are good for...

Covenant Transport Don't work for them

My fiancé left the 10th of June 2008 for orientation. By the 8th of July they had not given him any home time which broke up our relationship. They also keep asking him to break DOT regulations by trying to keep him on the road for more than 14 hrs. I love this man dearly and I want him home but that isn't going to happen because they won't give him home time. Their pay is awful and his first pay check was 59.00. The easiest way to break up a relationship is to go to work for Covenant Transport.

first you need to take some responsibility on this break up...noone makes you break up but you your self. and him not being home or no or little pay dont break up couples... i know this and can say this becuase i had worked for cr england in 2006 when i was engaged to a wonderful woman...well i was gone on the road for 3 months...i had not seen her but we did talk on cell phones...and to make it worse i did not get paid for the 3 months... so i lost the house i was buying and the car... but you know she was still there when i made it home which by the way only becuase i had quit. and we are now married...so you see it is only you that breaks up relationships..noone can do that for you...so my suggestion if you broke up over this then mabye the love was not there to begin with for love does and will always endure any and all things...

I want to find Michael Andrew Matthews out of Fayetteville, GA. He drove me so deep in debt that now I have to take him to court to get some money back. If anyone knows his truck # let me know or if any ex-covenant drivers know him let me know. I am a severe diabetic who is going into kidney damage and he hasn't called me once to check on me. I want this boy bad. He weighs 296 lbs. claims to be 5'9 but I would say 5'7 . Has a long scar running down his forehead and is a compulsive liar. He is 39 years old and I even have his Driver's license and his social security numbers.

Covenant Transport Misleading company!

I recently applied at a well known, high paying LTL company around where I live. Upon filing the application, I was told that I had 'missed some things' on my application, and needed to re-confirm it. After going back and double checking everything, I submitted the application again. Once I did, I was told that I was disqualified for accidents on my record, which I did not report.

These 'accidents' were not accidents, and it reflects back that I have a poor driving record. In the first of these so-called accidents, I was driving down an interstate around 9pm, and a car in front of the truck in front of me kicked up a recap. It went underneath the truck in front of me. When it came out from him, and ripped out all of his air lines, and went underneath my truck, and ripped out the trailer air lines. I pulled over, and Covenant instructed my trainer (I was a 'student driver' at the time), to have the police called. We were then sent on our way. My trainer had made sure that they were NOT going to charge us for the accident. Per Covenant's policy, if you have an accident, they charge you $500, taken out in $25 weekly increments. I was never charged any type of fee for that. I also was unaware of any 'accident' being reported to my USIS/DAC report.

The second 'accident' that happened, I made a delivery with a trailer, and the shippers requirement was to drop the trailer. The area around it was VERY VERY tight, and a tractor trailer with a 53 foot trailer with a conventional tractor/70' sleeper was not able to fit into the doors. I had called Covenant to tell them that I could not fit. I was told to 'do what I had to do to get it in the door'. I asked a driver with a day cab from a different company if he could put it in the door. He told me he could, and I disconnected from the trailer.

After it was unloaded, I attempted to hook to the trailer again, and it would not hook at all. The jaws had become locked shut, like they are with a hooked trailer. I tried to release the 5th wheel, but it was locked in there somehow. I was instructed to take the trailer to a shop to have them release the 5th wheel. It was released and I was on my way again.

These accidents reportedly happened in '04 and '05. I was not aware of this on my report until now, when I applied at another employer, due to being laid off from my present employer. The employer I applied with told me that there were accidents I didn't report. He told we they were 'preventable/chargeable', and is considered 'falsifying an application'. So, I'm disqualified from the job that I otherwise probably would have had. Thanks to Covenant Transport reporting what I believe to be false information on a government report that is used to determine an eligibility of an applicant.

OK. Is there anyone out here that knows who Covenant has contract wit to do their random drug screens? I was driving for them and dispatcher had me do A random in Alabama. 3 hours later the dr called me and said he had to "ALTER" the paperwork for some reason or another. 3 weeks later I get A phone call from said testing facility stating that I tested positive for THC. In NO TIME FLAT, I was on the phone with my dispatcher and safety board. 4 days later I was told to park my truck. This is A breech of contract between Covenant and testing facility so wanting to know who they contract with (I.E. Lab-corp) or who. Feel free to E-mail me:

O man lets start for orientation You get off the bus a shuttle van picks you up take you to a ran down roaches everywhere motel..continental breakfast lunch and dinner you can hang it up. So 1st day of orientation you have a physical test, drug test ( if you cant pee they will give you 5 cups of water then tell you it was diluted so do it again or go home).then you go to a room where they tell you that you are going to do a 28 to 35 day training an get paid 150 for orientation pay which you will not get until after three weeks (you will not get this UNTIL three weeks I repeat) then they will tell you that they FORCE TEAMS this is not a solo company you and your team pay will be 15cpm because you have to split 30cpm with your partner.you will sit in the roach motel for 1 to 3 weeks waiting waiting on a trainer you will not get paid while waitin on the trainer. You get over the road be preparef for 10 to 11hr driving day or night..overall they LIE

Am an O/O, was impressed with their benefits, applied, stayed out for a month at a time total of 4 months, 1) they do everything thru the qualcomm, if you call over the phone, they'll hang up on you if it's not an emergency, if you complain over the qualcomm they will not answer you, if you call and complain to human resources the dispatcher will be on you, I know, because they shorten my pay and they couldn't fix it, it was about $300, dispatcher did not like me calling human resources, and last run was owed another $250, they do want you to help them with other loads other drivers could not deliver, (favors), had my own plates ready, had enough with this company, left covenant and returned their equipment at the California yard, dispatchers know you will probably never see them, they are in Chattanooga, TN., so they don't care for you, only their backs, so please "do not work for these people"!, recruiters are like sales people getting drivers for covenant, once your in, they don't tell you to buy a bottle of Vaseline, i returned to my old carrier, much better company overall, there were other things but i'll give it a rest, good luck.

I was placed with a trainer who stood up infront of me while goin 65 on the freeway on cruise control and pissed in a cup how gross is that especially for a women. She also ran a red light, hit a conway trailer, brought a beer on the truck, came close to side swiping another car, does not wear a seatbelt, and drives and text at the same time. I reported all this and now im the one looking for another job how lame is that.

Covenant is Trying to Ruin My Life!

I am a 1 yr truck driver, Covenant being my only trucking job. I was fired for no reason. The DAC report report reads that I failed a drug test. I never took a drug test! In March 2009, I was in a log class and my dispatch told me to go take a drug test. My log instructor told me if I left there would be no reason to take a drug test. I relay this to my dispatch and he tells me to test the next day. The next morning on my way to take the drug test, the dispatch calls me and tells me I'm fired and to leave Covenant property for refusing to test. I have had a dozen of job offers until they see the DAC report. I got a letter of separation 6 weeks later that says I was discharged but does not list a reason. I am 26 yrs old and this was to be my career. I have never had a drug in my body other than cold medicine. Covenant is full of liars and people who try to maime you for life!
