FRAUD
I purchased a membership with GlobalEscapes back in November of 2006 for a little over 5, 000.00$. I have not been able to acquire accommodations at any vacation site I want to travel to. I have not used this travel and vacation once! I am so upset. If anyone knows of a law suit, please contact me at [protected]. I have been trying to travel to South and Central America, but every site is all inclusive, and I was never told they would all be that way when I purchased this vacation package. This has got to be against the law.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Fraud and cheating
I purchased a membership with GlobalEscapes back in November of 2006 for 7, 245.00$. I have not been able to acquire accommodations at the places that I or my husband or the two of us travel. We are in the complete same boat. Our local affliate "Steel Town Services" in Pittsburgh that sold us the membership is no longer in business. I cannot find a live person to talk to anywhere! We can't even access the website anymore because the people that sold us the membership went out of business without any notification to us. I've contacted Globalescapes.net and cannot get a response as to what is supposed to happen when the third party vendor that sold us the membership goes out of business. What a scam. So pissed.
