I purchased a membership from hotel Express in aug 2019. They have since been pestering me to purchase an upgrade, which I refused. They have now deducted an a amount from my credit card without authorization, they are obviously holding all previous information on their system to fraudulently steal money from peoples accounts, because I did not supply them any details, besides in the first transaction. 13/1/2020

Hotel Express International Reservations ripped me off

Hotel express made a false promise to people that they will get discounted rates when we book via them. I requested hotel express to book me in Durban, South Africa this past weekend (17 - 20 May 2012). To my surprise they charged me almost R400.00 more than the hotel rate... what happened to "saving money with us"?

I asked the manager at the hotel and he confirmed that the hotel rates a low but for hotel express members they charge a higher rate and the money goes to hotel express. I believed him because I requested a friend to call the hotel and ask the rates for me... yes they were far cheaper than hotel express deal. One pays an annual membership with hotel express and then pays a higher price at the hotel. They are making a false promise to people and I think this is a scam.

i have paid them P3500 for membership last year even todate i have not received membership card. they ignore my emails and call.

Kindly note, that if you wish to proceed with reservation with promotion from Hotel Express International- please contact Hotel Express Cutomer Care directly, as per we do not have any information regarding discount.

This was a response given by St, Regis Saadiyat Island Resort Abu Dhabi

We are not participating in such a promotion called the Hotel Express Membership.

I also went back to the hotel express website and began putting in different dates to these hotels listed as partners of Hotel express (Nov 2014, Jan 2015, April 2015, June 2015, Dec 2015) and the hotels were still "fully booked" although there is full availability in the actual hotel website. Hotel express is the absolute biggest scam!

I was also given false information. I requested a booking at a Durban, South Africa hotel I was given a HIGHER rate when I informed the Hotel that I was a member of Hotel express international. At 50% discount the rate was much higher than the rate I was able to book the same hotel. I e -mailed my dissatisfaction to Hotel Express International and they were unable to give an explanation as to Why I must pay R1600 and enjoy no benefit. I am still waiting for a reasonable RESPONSE . P A Moodley

the above is true, worse they are all dodgy, its like all the consultants are taught how to rip people off their R1500. i dont know how ppl can be made aware not to trust this Hotel Express Int. they dont take ur calls when you have a query
