Instant Tax Service false advertisment,privacy,ect...

I seen the t.v ad in which said" Everyone gets a loan up to $1000.00"I had to drive across town at least 45min to be offered $100.00 wow after reciveing my w-2 i tryed to return to finish my taxes after sitting in the west office 2 hrs and hearing everyone before me's refund amount Mo the store manager got into a conflict with another client over the fees and the printer being down for the 3rd day i was told i had to drive to the east office where my file was. After getting to the east store DJ entered my info an said he couldnt submit it it would be submited by 5 pm today and that i had to wait 24 to 48 hrs to see if i qulify for an INSTANT check .even if i was it wouldnt matter cause thier printer is down too.and hav a nice day did not tell me what my refund would be so i ask and i ask him to write it down not to say my refund amount and he said it anyway..VERY VERY BAD BUSSNES I WOULD NEVER RETURN TO THEM AGIN!

I have been quite patient waiting on my refund from this place. Now, the IRS line says that my refund was scheduled to be deposited today, and alas, no refund check! This is ridiculous! And now none of the managers will get on the phone and they have a supposed security officer in their lobby. I am going to the BBB, I used them a couple times before, but NEVER again.

I was scammed as well. They charged $644 dollars to file our taxes without explaining it and then it took more than the 14 days to receive our money. when we questioned them about it they tried to back pedal bad blame the IRS. They are preying on people in need and over charging for a service that we could get for free. They trick you with these hopes of receiving money early then tell you sorry you were not approved. This is so disheartening that people are so cold and vicious like this. They know exactly what they are doing and they don't care.

I agree with you 100%. I was told a promise date to pick up my check refund and it wasn't there, plus they take a guess at what date you are to pick up the money and that's wrong too!I only recieved $300.00 upfront to do my taxes but they charge you $600.00 to do it which is not fair nor right to do to innocent people.I will never in my life go to nor tell anyone anything good or professional about this place.I WILL SAY THAT IT IS THE WORST AND MOST NON-PROFESSIONAL COMPANY TO GO TO EVER!SCAMS AFTER SCAMS FROM INNOCENT PARENTS AND CHILDREN I FEEL!PLEASE NEVER GO BACK TO THAT COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE LIED TO AND TAKEN FOR YOUR MONEY THAT YOU REALLY DO DESERVE!

Instant Tax Service false advertisement

This company is a complete scam, they advertise that you will qualify for a loan up to a 1000 dollars but that is not the case more like 50 dollars .Before they tell you how much your loan is going to be they ask you to sign a document that says you HAVE to file taxes with them once they tell you.it's obvious that they only want business and do not care about the customer with that being said I will never file with them again and I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy they are truly FRAUDS !

These people are crooks, they took over 1200 dollars out of our refund check and no one ever answers the phone. What company charges 1200 dollars? This is ridiculous and I am extremely upset. I will never file with them again. I'm going to report them. I will be getting my money back.

After having to file with them, they said we would get back 4777, went to go pick up my refund and they shorted me $600 and said it was "bank fees" but yet they only said that their fee would be taken out when we filed. There were also quite a few people outside trying to talk to the IRS because they also got shorted over $600, it's ridiculous

I also agree, they said I was qualified for only 100. They filed my taxes without my w2 on Jan 17 but I haven't heard from anyone. I checked IRS website and nothing so I called Instant Tax and no one answers the phone. I have been calling for a week now. Finally I called the IRS and they told me they have up to 3 weeks to process my return. Have anyone else experience not getting in touch with anyone at the Ft Worth office on Lancaster? Are they still there? I'm worried.

i applied to the cash advance up to $1000.00 and only qualified for $50. The manager told me that if you are not an established client then everyone get $50.00. She told me to come back with my W-2 and she will file my taxes then. I check the IRS website and low and behold she had already filed them without my w-2. I filed a complain with the IRS using Form 14157. here is the link. http://www.irs.gov/taxpros/article/0, , id=205878, 00.html

I totally agree. I filed my taxes with them and I am getting the run around. They told me that the IRS just received my return but little did they know I talked with the IRS and they received it on the 19th and its the 22nd. I applied for the RAL and no answers where my money is. TOTAL FRAUD if you ask me.

Instant Tax Service fraud / false information

I called and asked them what qualified me for their " Instant Tax" refund and they stated "It only depends on the amount of your refund. Knowing that I usually get a good amount from having 3 kids, I figured I would qualify for the max of $1000 from my last pay stub. I was wrong. After I signed all the paperwork and was stuck with the charges, they had us watch a video which then states that they only give you the $1000 if you have been doing your taxes with them for 5 plus years. I was then given a check for $50! Are you kidding me? I asked if I could just give him the $50 check back and he said no, I had signed the paperwork and now I was stuck with filing my taxes with them. They did not disclose their fees at any time nor gave me paperwork that detailed how much I was to receive in writing...just to come back when I had my W2. I called their corporate headquarterd immediately after I went to cash the check at Walmart, as that is the only place they said would cash it for $3.00 fee! Walmart refused to cash the check as they stated that the company had fraudulent activity! Are you kidding me! How are these people still in business? How can they get away with the stuff? They pray on the poor and benefit. someone please shut them down. Corporate office stated that all I could do is speak to the manager, whom is the one I already did my taxes with...whatever! They did not help at all.

Your information is a little off based on my experience. I went in and got the same $50 advance but actually paid attention to everything they told me up front. Your information you provided was in reverse order to how it was explained to me. They gave me a free estimate on my refund which I appreciated as I got back $5200. He then explained upfront how the advance worked and asked if I wanted to apply. He then let me watch the video which fully explained again everything he had previously told me. He then asked if I had questions and asked one last time if I wanted to apply before he submitted it. He clearly explained that if I was approved for anything regardless of the amount that I would have to file to pay that back. I didnt have a problem as they were very upfront with everything. We then printed paperwork, reviewed everything and fees and I signed and he submitted it and printed me a check for $50. If you didnt want the service you should not have agreed to it and signed the paperwork. I figured something upfront is better than nothing at all and most places are not doing advances anymore.

My friend got approved for $100 and she did have an issue with her check at Wood forest and they told her it was a Bank of America issue not an issue with a fraudulent check. She deposited it again and it went through fine. Their advance program is no different from anyone elses. Sounds like you missed the point on "qualifying for up to $1000" instead of just walking in and everyone getting a $1000. I wish it was that easy haha.

my refund got delayed which made me mad but it was an IRS deal and not their fault so I couldnt get mad at anyone but the IRS. beyond that I had another great experience with them this year.

Most peoples problems would be resolved if they simply took the time to pay attention up front, ask questions and read the paperwork.

Instant Tax Service ral bait and switch

According to a former employee of Instant Tax Service, the company enticed potential customers with promises of refund anticipation loans (RAL’s) to get them to file their taxes using the company’s services. Customers who applied for RAL were routinely told that they did not qualify for the loan but were forced to file their taxes with Instant Tax Service.

I went back and complained, they gave me some money back. Dont go to instant tax service on crenshaw and imperial, it is a rip off.

First of all, these people took $75.00 extra then what they was suppose to out of my refund... I called the girl Rachelle at the tidewater dr location and told her what happen. She admitted it was a mistake and that i will recieve my money back. This was January 30. Here it is going into April. They cut a check to some people, and now saying the not doing it anymore. I calls to see about my money. Mr. James told me that my money would be on the card. This was March 7 &8th i talk to him. Still til this day March 18, I recieve no money. Now when i call the office for James, they say he no longer works there. But the NICOLE girl who works there... (Newport News Location). She calms she's a manager... I ask nicely for the Corp. Office number, and she told me she was not going to give it to me... And had a very nasty attitude... All i have to say. I would not advise nobody to deal with instant tax service. The People is VERY VERY RUDE. and will not try to help at all... AND I STILL WANT MY MONEY

Watchout for Instant Tax Service. They will lie to you about a loan and about the time it will take to recieve your refund check. The owner, Gershen Gebrikadan, is only 22 and is a scammer. The store wasnt giving out loans and he was telling all of the clients that there were loans. He said everyone was decdlined, but there wasn't a loan to get declined for. Complete ###. The referral fee will never be paid to you and the fees are extremely high. He didnt even pay his employees! Dont Get A new one ripped!

I went for the holiday loan that was advertised on the radio and after waiting 4 hours their website went down. There was no technical support to resolve the matter and the preparer waiting on me was rude and unprofessional. I called the corporate number and spoke with Miriam, a supervisor, who was unhelpful. I requested a manager and was told that she doesn't have a manager. I was told to goto a different location in another city. I explained that did not resolve my issue and requested the manager's name at the location I went to. She did not have that information and was not allowed to give out the owner's name either. I called to the location on V.Odom Blvd. in Akron and was told the manager would be right with me. The manager, Nathan, was the same unprofessional preparer from the previous night. After I explained my dissatisfaction, he stated there was nothing he wanted to do about it and hung up! I could understand if I was belligerent, but I remained calm and never cursed, the night before or during this phone call. What kind of a business or so-called business does this? Also, I have never heard of a supervisor not having a manager, especially at a corporate office. The radio add clearly stated that everyone leaves with a check, I did not. That is false advertisement! I called back to request a call back from the owner and found out that the preparer/manager is also the owner. Something smells fishy! I submitted a compaint to the BBB and on Instant Tax Service's website and am waiting on a response.

I went to Instant Tax Service on Metropolitan Pkwy on Monday January 17, 2017. I went there cause they claimed to be able to pull up W-2's without having to wait on them to come in the mail. Once I arrived, they were very busy and also very unprofessional. I decided to continue to wait for a tax preparer. I had already filled out my paperwork and after about 30 minutes of waiting got to a tax preparer named Latoya Thomas. She was apparently the only tax preparer there with other assistants because about every 3 minutes she was excusing herself to go help another client and employee. I was a little irritated at this point so she sent another worker to finish inputting my information. She then prints out my 1040 form and asked me to sign it. At this point, I'm thinking "ok are you going to tell me my options, how much your charging me, how much I'm getting back?" So, I asked the woman how much I was getting back. She told me the amount. Now at this point I knew they had pulled one W-2 off a website called W2Express.com but never saw her pull the other one off. I was then told everything was done and to call her (Latoya) the next afternoon to make sure everything had went through and there were no rejections. Then I asked what my options were as far as filing. Now I'm very upset because I didn't understand why I was having to ask her these questions. I inquired about the $1000 instant loan so she sat back down and put my information in and said I didn't qualify for it but just for trying to get the loan there was $10 on the card immediately. I left the store assuming all was good.

On Tuesday January 18, 2017, I called Latoya around 3pm and she asked that I call her back in an hour cause she was busy so I called back around 4pm. She said that the IRS had accepted my return and everything was good and I would be getting my money on January 28th, 2017. I attempted to use the $10 on the card I was given for trying to get the loan and was told I had a $0 balance (as of today, no $10 still on the card).

I went to the Where's My Refund section of the IRS website and read that I would be able to check the status of my refund 72 hours after e-filing my return. I began checking the website on Thursday and it would say there was no information on my return. Same thing on Friday. So I called [protected] store location number) and tried to speak with Latoya on Friday but was unable to reach her. Left a message with Christy. I then called the [protected] and spoke with Cindy who told me the same thing Latoya had told me on Tuesday. I decided to stop panicking and see what happens over the weekend.

By Monday, the IRS website was still saying the same thing. Again called and spoke with Christy about the $10 and about the IRS website. I was told that she would have Latoya call me but she knew a lot of people were having the same problem with the website. Something just didn't feel right for me. Called back on Tuesday and still didn't get in touch with her. Left another message but no return call. So I contacted the IRS around 4pm on January 25, 2017. After holding for a very long time due to the high call volume, I was told my taxes were NOT filed and hadn't even been attempted to be transmitted! Now I'm furious.

I tried calling the store location and was put on hold for more than 7 minutes and was hung up on. Attempts to call back were unsuccessful as I was told later on they were having phone problems. I had no transportation to get to the location since my car was in the shop so I was at the mercy of a phone to figure out what was going on. I got in touch with Cindy (supposedly a Customer Service Supervisor at Corporate) who I told what was going on. She tries to pull me up in the system and there was no information in the system for me. Now I'm confused cause this is the same woman who told me 5 days earlier that my information was in the system. She said she was looking at their Insight system and not the IRS system as they just got access to the IRS system on Sunday. She did try to help me and sent emails and made phone calls to the owner, regional manager and Latoya but she was also unsuccessful. Cindy called me at 9pm and said she would be coming in at 7am to work on my case.

At 11pm, I received a call from Nicole (Regional Manager) apologizing and asked if I could find a ride to the location and meet her there at 10am the next morning (Wednesday). I arrived around 10:30am after calling her to be told she had another emergency and would be late. She showed up at the location after 11am. I went into the location and was greeted by Latoya who tells me that she called me and told me that she was waiting on another W2 of mine. UM NO you're a LIAR! I haven't spoke to you or anyone from here but Christy to leave all these messages for you and you haven't returned a single call. So I went outside and waited for Nicole to arrive. Upon Nicole's arrival, Latoya was on the phone. Nicole didn't even want to hear what had happened. She just wanted to move forward. Hold on a minute - that's the whole purpose of this! I sat there while I listened to Latoya come over and tell her barefaced lies. She stated she never told me my return had been accepted. So to catch her in the lie I simply stated...So why would you have asked me to call you the next day to check the status of my return if you did not file it because you were missing a W2? She was then excused by her superior.

Here's how they planned to rectify the situation. They submitted my information to get a RAL by Friday. I asked about the fees and was told she would charge me a max of $350 for a $5000 loan. Because of the issues I have going on surrounding this money, I agreed. Once the paperwork printed out, the fees were close to $500 so she marked it out and wrote $350 with her initials. Then I noticed the loan amount was $1000 and not the $5000 we agreed on. She states "Oh that doesn't apply to you" and proceeds to mark it out as well and writes my total refund minus $5000 Friday and the remainder on Feb 4th minus $350 in fees and again puts her initials. I sign the paperwork and she gets on the phone with Corporate to find out how long it will be before they know if I'm approved or not. The guy she was speaking with said because we got it in by 11:30am the IRS would accept it by 6:00pm and they would know by 8:00pm if I was approved or not. Then she inquires why the amount says $1000 and he says that's all I'm eligible for! Wow! Ok so now I've been lied to, misled and screwed! I'm paying $350 for a $1000 loan. 35%?!?!? You've got to be kidding me! She's doing all this apologizing to me and saying there's nothing she can do. So I got up and started to walk out the door when she tells me that Latoya would be calling me at 8pm.

I came home and called Cindy at the corporate office and explained what just happened to her. She was going to make phone calls and call me back. This was around 12:30pm Wednesday. I talked to Nicole about the Insight card they had given to me previously because she had stated earlier that there was something wrong with my card but assured me the card was fine when she looked it up. However, it still has no funds on it.

As of 1:24am on Thursday, I have yet to receive another call from any representative from Instant Tax Service.

Instant Tax Service fraud/misrepresentation of services

The Owner/Manager of this location is very unprofessional and down right rude. I truly believe that his company is taking advantage of unsuspecting customers by overcharging for " basic" & "simple" tax services. They lure naive people in by misrepresenting their services. You are not gettting any added benefit for what they charge (astronomical prices)! Instant Tax Service is a scam in my opinion and they are ripping people off. For what they are charging, in excess of $250.00 plus, you can do it yourself or get it for free. Hell, what they are charging, you can have a licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant) do for merely a fraction of the cost. I would not recommend doing business with a franchise that just pops up just in time for the tax season. They do not offer anything special for the price that they are charging that's for sure! Their staff is incompetent and unable to answer very basic questions relevant to taxes; not at all versed in tax advice. They basically talk in circles. Buyers/Consumers beware! Please review all of the complaints on this message board as they all are the same and more than likely have a lot of validity!

Instant Tax Service hidden fee fraud

I went to instant tax service expecting to receive an ral loan in one day or less only to find out that I was not approved for the ral days later. I was told by the representative that I will be charged 259.00 to do my taxes again to find out that I have been charged 629.00. I didnt approve that fee from them but somehow they get all of my state return and going to take the rest out when my federal come. That is crazy the representative at the store downloaded one of my w2 forms and told me that I cant get my paper work from him until I submit my original w2 form. Okay I submitted my original w2 form but the fee was not on the form. I called my insight card and spoke to a representative who told me that I was being charged 629.95 and it has nothing to do with them I can file a dispute once they take there funds out. Is there any one I can talk to because this is crazy they are taking all my hard earn money I have 5 children and a grandchild I need all my money. I called the corporate office from instant tax service who told me they have nothing to do with the fees I have to call the store. Now if I cant get help from them who can I get help from instant tax service is a scam they are a fraud they cheat innocent hard working people out of there money and it is wrong im going to call a lawyer or someone who can tell me what can I do about this... I have no leads at all any help please email me at [protected]@hotmail.com

First of all IRS have told all the tax prep comanies in 2011 not to file taxes with the last pay stub. If they have filed your return without your w2's, they are in violation. you can only use the last paystub after FEB15th if you were unsucessful to obtain the w2's from your employer by attaching a form to your return called 4852. Also please look at your bank product discloures about the fees. It must be listed in your paperwork you must sign. I don't know what kind of return you have, but $600+ sounds really high. Your option is to take them to small claim court if you have not signed any documents stating the fees.

Instant Tax Service screwed up method of return

I went here to get my taxes done this year and rather than asking what type of return I wanted to do, they ASSUMED I wanted the loan option (24-48 hrs). When in fact I just wanted it E-filed and direct deposited into my account because it's hard for me to get out on my own with two very young babies. (Their father is an over the road truck driver and is only home on weekends) They filed in the form for the loan without clarifying or asking me what I wanted to do, then started talking to me about coming to get checks. Which is when I said I wanted to E-file with direct deposit so I wouldn't have to drag the kids out in the inclimate weather by myself. Plus it costs almost half of the loan option. So they said they "fixed" it and I cut them a check for $120.oo, and they told me I should get the deposit in eight to ten days. Eight days later they call me and say that it had gone through their bank and that I needed to come in and sign papers releasing my checks. I find someone to go with me, and they give me the state check, and say my federal should be ready right away. Three days later still no word. The only good thing is I only had to pay $32.oo at the end. But still when the fed comes in I'll have to again find someone to go with me to get it, that is willing to tag along to the bank. My kids are just young to go out by myself for these types of things. To say the least I will not be using their services after the hassle I've had to deal with this year. (Oh and I used the refund tracker on the IRS site and they said I should have it by the eighth. So my other concern is that both windows they used got submitted, and that the direct deposit from the Treasury may come through as well, so I'll essentially owe one of the two money at the end of all of this.)

Here is the thing. If you wanted the direct deposit in your account and you paid them upfront for the services. They are not allowed to get the check in thier office. By doing so they have charged you bank product fees. Please check your paperwork and see how much fee you have paid total. Look at your tax return page 2 at the end and see how much your refund is and how much you got.

Instant Tax Service horriable service

Ok so I went to instant tax service 1/7/2011. I felt I went really early to get it out the way so they told me they wouldn't be putting in my tax information until 1/15/2011. Which wasn't a biggie to me so before I leave the guy ask me if I would like to do direct depoist I say yes he told me i'll get it back on the 28th. So the 28th comes (Yesterday) and I check my bank account at excately 12:15am to make sure its there so I look and nothings there.

So I say ok i'll try again when I wake up around 9am.

I go online again a little after 10am still nothin so i'm worried now I call my bank and they say they dont see nothin comin from the irs so I call the irs and talked to a woman and she tells me they already sent my money out she ask for my bank info I tell her n she says oh instant tax service grab ur money and is holdin it call them and ask them when they are releasing it...

So I call and they tell me at 1pm... So 1pm comes and go I call at 2:30pm n they tell me oh where I went to well call me at 3pm and let me know my money is in my bank account...3pm comes and goes and now its almost 6 so I call them and ask whats the hold up the woman puts me on hold for 30 minutes then a guy picks up and I told him what she told me I get put on hold for 30 more minutes before she picks up the phone and tells me to come down there

So I go down there she calls my name n ask me to sign a paper so I did and she hands me a envolope I open it n its my tax refund check I put a frown on my face and told them u know what i'm going to call your main office because I didn't ask for a check.

I was happy that my money was out of they're reach but pissed off that it didnt go direct depoist like I had signed for it to go not only that when I 1st asked how much they was charging me he said $300 when I looked at my check $400 was gone i'm calling again tomorro morning to get my $100 back and I will never use they service again I dont recommend anybody else either

Instant Tax Service fraud and lies

I went to instant tax on 01/14/2011 to file my taxes. I was told that they were offering loans for the next day. I had used the company before and had received a loan once. I was told to call back by tina coleman the nxt day to find out if I had been approved. I was told that I had not been approved and that I would have t wait for the two weeks to get my check once the irs releashed the funds. Upon calling to check the status of my refund one week later I was told that I needed to bring in a copy of my driver's license because she didnt have it in the system. I took my driver's license in and I calle the next day to check on my refund she then stated that it had been accepted and that my check date would be 01/28/2011. After speaking with my sister who got her check on today 01/27/2011 ahead of time I decided to call and check on mine. I was told by tim another worker that I was rejected because my dependents social security number's did not match the irs files. I spoke with tina coleman who told me that she faxed over a copy of the ss card to get this corrected and that I should come up there at 1:00pm, when I arrived she was not in the office. I was then told by tim that he had corrected all of the information and that it can take up to two weeks for them to review it and set a check date. Which would be 02/11/2011. I then contacted the main office and requested to speak with a manager who called me back and said that tina coleman said that I did not give her a copy of my dependents social security cards and that it was ny fault the irs rejected me. I then stated well how could she have faxed over a copy of the dependent ss card if she didnt have a copy. He then stated that is a good question. He tehn stated that one of the districk managers would have to go over there and check the files but he then gave me a number to his cellpohne, I have made several calls to this man and I havent gotten an answer or a call back. What I dont understand is why do they have o lie? All they have to do is tell the truth because everyone makes a mistake. What makes me really mad is that they are not owning up to their mistakes and that they are trying to get out of getting me my money that I need bad to pay bills that are behind. Jermaine is the district manager tina coleman and tim are the tax workers. Im about to go up to the company and see what is going on because no one has called me back. Tonight I am contacting andy wise to get them exposed on tv and I will be placing some of these posts on tv for the world to see. Instant tax service is a rip off.

I totally agree, that they are a rip off. They state one preparation price butwhen you receive your money they have taken an extra $300 -$500 off of the refund. I receive the $1000 loan but they charge me $750 to prepare my tax so therefore they did not do me a favor. Then they said it will be posted on the card in 24 hours. out of $10, 000 they posted $500. Then I had to wait on my other money on 1/28. They still charged me the same amount to process my tax and more. Then you call to ask questions, everyone beomes clueless. I actually think many of these preparer is putting our money in their pockets. I agree this is a fraud in which needs to be exposed.

Instant Tax Service fraud..

I filed my taxes this yr for the first time in YRS with anyone.! I normally file myself for free, this yr I needed it nd I went to the Instant tax service in Indianapolis In, @646 East 38th st. They told me they Could not send off any txs til we came back in nd signed the State Forms, well they sent all of ours off nd they didnt even have all the info needed to file. Some ppl still have 1099's out unemployment out, nd all other kinds of info- They also told me my return was 900.00 for the state HOW when U didnt even have my info No rent, no anything they said they Just estimated it at 250.00 I still got he gredit but how is it 500.00 off! I called nd noone knows anything I didnt sign the state form they uploaded it on the computer nd filled out the stat info them applied my signature from the LOAN form to he state form Forgery! now they say it will be Feb 4th before my return comes in. They cant do RAL's.. nd they Cant do the 1000.00 instant cash thye were only handing out 100.00- 300.00 nd that loan locked u n to file with them. Now I have to do an amendment Why should anyone have to do an amendement, when u charge over 700.00 to file nd for what putting the info in the computer cause u sure dont get nothing FAST, nd it still takes 3 weeks. I could have filed for free nd got the same result! I did file a compliant with the BBB nd I called coroporate Offices... I also filed a Fraud compliant with the IRS! They need to be shut down for False Ads, nd Suied but dont worry cause they have Dealt with the wrong one and I will file a Class action suite against the Instant tax services. I called to have it kicked back nd the state also. Please PPl dont use these ppl! They are untrained, uneducated, nd RIP OFFS! I also want my fees retracted for false ads nd false time schedules!~

This company was recently shut down by a Federal Court for "fraud and deception". Read the Forbes article here: http://onforb.es/1bm9Lyu

These resources may help taxpayers faced with an unscrupulous "tax relief" company :

1) Contact the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) and file a complaint. They oversee, and can sanction, Attorneys, CPAs, Enrolled Agents, Registered Tax Return Preparers (RTRP) and others: http://1.usa.gov/18tXSWN

2) Use IRS Form 14157 to file a written complaint against your tax return preparer: http://1.usa.gov/Qm1rSC

In all cases, always search the Web in the name of the person AND company you're thinking about hiring. Websites (such as this one) provide invaluable feedback to taxpayers and expose those organizations that don't have their client's best interest in mind. Good luck.

They are complete rip offs & they employ anyone that claims they can type, to do you taxes. I will NEVER, repeat NEVER use Instant tax again! The guy who did my taxes, messed them up & by the time I got some of my return (14days), he was no longer employed there. I was told by someone that they would refund me some of my fees, and everytime I call or go to check the status of that, they tell me they are working on it, & to call or come back next week, I have been going through this since the begining of Feb.
So over it, I LEARNED!

If you could do some simple math, you wouldn't need to go to one of these scam companies. You're all idiots for trying to be cheap by not going to a company who is reputable. If you had gone to H&R Block, then you could have had your refunds in 5-7 days. But no, you needed a small loan because you can't handle your finances better. You deserved what you got.

Instant Tax Service fraud, taken advantage of, lied to

We had went in to get a loan. We were told that the fees were only 205 + bank fees. No problem. We also signed a paper showing that we had to go back there to file. No big deal, come to find out, they filed our taxes and didnt have all of the w2s. We received a txt showing that our state check had been deposited. When we called the card that they put it on showed a $0 balance. Come to find out they arr trying to charge us almost 1000 to file our taxes
never use instant tax service. They will tell u one thing and charge another. Obviously from these other complaints it is the whole company. Never again will use them again.

same thing here is wisconsin and i do not think that it is legal what they are doing, they charged me 1400 to file my taxes, i didnt authorized them to file and if the paper that i signed for the loan did say that i was going to file with them, then they should have waited until i brought in my W2's, i have to spent more money to get my taxes amended, they is outrageous and they should be investigated.

This is really sad that they are doing this to hard working people. I was told by my tax preparers at H and R Block that NO ONE can offer the 1-2 day loans anymore, that IRS has put a stop to it. I was told that it's going to be 8-10 days for anyone at a minimum, and this year you'd probably get your state return before the federal. And the BTW I tried telling a couple of co-workers this and they went to Instant Tax last Thursday and got the 12-48 hours promise of a refund, and they are still mad and waiting over a week later.

Instant Tax Service undisclosed fees, liars

They promised an ral (Refund anticipation loan) within 24 hours, which they said came back denied. They initially told me no one was every denied! Yeah right! I found out they never even tried to get an ral. Now they will not refund my loan fee ($205.00) even though I did not get the ral. They lure you in with their commericials saying everyone gets a check. Not! They are charging me over $455.00 and they didn't tell me about these fees until after I had signed. After they told me about the fees, I told them no and they said... Sorry already put through the irs and we do not give refunds. I was told the fee was $39.95 when first arriving. I was never told about a processing fee or a loan fee! They lie right to your face! They are just scammers preying on people who need money! This company will not give you an ral, in fact, I am scared that I will not even get my refund at all. I called the florida attorney general's office and made a complaint. I also made a complaint with the department of consumer services. Everyone who has a complaint about this company needs to call the appropriate governmental agency and make a formal complaint! This is the only way to shut these scam artists down!

Do not use this tax service! The preparers are not trained and have no idea how to do your taxes. All the care about is getting the fees! I can't imagine hurting poor people like that everyday. The employees there should be ashamed of themselves! Karama is a #!

I called the irs and reported this company also and stopped the direct deposit to their bank and I am now getting a paper check sent to my home. What a nighmare! Beware of instant tax service on colonial drive in orlando, fl! They will rip you off!

UPDATE! The manager/owner of ITS is making this right with us. She is reimbursing loan fees that should not have been charged, etc... We are surprised and happy. If you haven't got your dispute settled. Contact the OWNER or TOP manager of the office and explain what happened and see if they can help you. If they wont at that point, then do all the other things you have to...contact your attorney general, file with the consumer services agencies and even contact your investigative TV news, but give them a chance first to make it right. Thank you to everyone for your input and I wish only the best to you all. I hope your disputes are resolved too! My best to all!

Hi Everyone. Man we are all in the same boat! Instant Tax Service has taken us all for lots of money. I did get a response from the Attorney General of Florida and they have received lots of complaints about Instant Tax Service. I was told the only way to shut these guys down is to make a complaint with them. SO EVERYONE NEEDS TO CALL THEIR ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE AND MAKE A FORMAL COMPLAINT. If they recieve enough of them, they will do something. My taxes are so messed up now. I did get my refund on the Insight Card on 1/28/11. It was minus $437.00! That is right $437.00! Can you believe that! They didn't do anything for me and The IRS now has different figures from what I have copies of from ITS. I am going to have to try to find out what the real amounts are from the IRS. WHAT A MESS. I did talk to LYNN who is the manager at the INSTANT TAX SERVICE at the office on Colonial in Orlando. She said she was very sorry and that there were masses of people complaining and that she thought the company was on the up and up and she never meant to hurt anyone. She thought it was a legitimate company, etc...She told me that the company is refusing to give back the loan fees to anyone even though only 2 people out of hundreds of people were approved for the loans. I am sending a registered letter to ITS asking for my money back. I am going to take them to small claims court. Problem is I don't even have any paperwork showing the loan fees, etc...to even back up my claim. (My fault...I will NEVER do anything like this again...EVER) I have paid a hefty price to learn a lesson not to trust people. I can't afford to lose $437.00! I made under 20K last year and have two boys I am supporting. I think we all need to get together and sue the company. If you do a google search you will find out that ITS has been raided in the past and sued in the past for doing this to other people. They need to be closed down. I am going to my local news too. Everyone please file formal complaints with your Attorney General and go to your news station. You can do most of it on line. Good luck to everyone. I feel bad for all of you. We have all been taken.

It must be the way they are trained. The exact same thing happened to me in Leesburg. I also went there originally for the loan because Jackson Hewitt wasn't offering any christmas loans this year, and I truely needed it this year not even for christmas but a broke down car and to get out of a very bad relationship. I was told over the phone that everyone was approved and I didn't need last years taxes, so I went in to their office on 12/30/10 after waiting for a hour. She told me I needed last years taxes and to come in the next day. I specifically asked her how late she would be there until because it was new years eve the next day. She said positively until 7 when the store closed. Because she open the store 5 days later than she was suppose to and that she needed to catch up on her work. The next 12/31/10 I called to let her know I was on my way at 3:30 mind you its a hour from my home. I arrived at 4;20 she let me sit there until 5;30 and said she couldn't do it she had plans and was going out. I was completely shocked and explained to her that she spefically said she would be there until 7, Her exact words where "you should have called me and I would have told you not to come I was leaving early." I was completely in shocked because I did call her before I left my house. I surely would not have given my last 20.00 dollars to someone for a ride there to waste time and money when I am currently out on short term disability and only get 330.00 bi-monthly. She then told me to drive to Orlando they would be open until 7 or I could make a appt for the next week and do my taxes get all the paper work singed on the 13th so she could submit it to irs on the 14th and I should have it on my card no later than the 17th. I explained to her my situation and that if there was a chance that I would be denied the loan that I would prefer to go to Jackson Hewitt because I have never been denied by them for anything in car broke down last month and that I had to move with my 5 yr old son immediately I had no time to wait. she assured me that I would definately be approved for the loan and that she was a woman also and she understood my situation, she even went as far to tell me that she would make sure to call me when she sent it out to the irs. She didn't even do my state taxes for the state I moved from but I was charged for it. I was also charged for the ral loan and everything else (which conveintly I dont even have a copy of what my fees are those pages where not put into my folder ) so I waited until Wed to call because I had not received anything yet. She said that they where running behind give it until the next day maybe Friday. Of course nothing on the 21st, and still nothing the irs said it would be sent out today the 28th for direct deposit. And guess what still nothing she wont even return my phone calls. SO I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO KNOW IF YOU DEAL WITH INSTANT TAX SERVICE YOU WELL GET ROBBED, LIED TO, MANIPULATED, AND IF YOU ARE IN A VERY HORRIBLE SITUATION AND NEED YOUR REFUND FAST THEY WELL LIE TO YOU! JUST TO GET YOUR MONEY! THEY DON'T GIVE A FLYING ### ABOUT ANYTHING OR ANYONE THEIR ONLY OBJECTIVE IS COLLECTING YOUR MONEY FOR A JOB THEY DIDN'T DO TO BEGIN WITH. SO I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU INSTANT TAX SERVICE FOR MAKING MY LIFE A LITTLE BIT WORSE BY THE DAY! WHEN PEOPLE ARE DOWN AND OUT NEED A LITTLE HELP DONT KICK THEM WHILE THEY ARE DOWN ! So to conclude my experience with INSTANT TAX SERVICE! Until I can actually get my refund my son and me are are staying with a friend of mine. Out of the kindness of her heart she opened her home to us, even though she is almost worse off than me. Neither of us have a vehicle and she has a very tiny 2 bedroom apt with the 2 of us and 4 kids. So I thank God everyday that I have a great child and awesome friends.

i am livid with these ppl... I did my taxes there on 1/17/09 and left with only my 1040tax form and only a portion of the tax form at that. So i waited to see if I was approved for the loan in 48hrs even though the commercial says 24hrs and i constantly call to hear pending... then on the 20th i called and she yells at me and says im denied. Her name is Blaine emiru... but her efile number says bilene emiru! So i go back to discuss not only the fact that i need more paperwork but also to find out why i was charged 700 dollars and she said 300. Bilene and a girl named meklit tried to over talk me so i became frustrated. Meklit pulled out a folder that had my social security number on the top! WTF! So she shows me a fake receipt trying to tell me that i signed for the fees and really that wasnt my issue if i didnt qualify for the RAL then cool ill wait until the 28th when the irs deposits my money on the insight card! SHe opens up the folder and i didnt even know that the chick stole my paystubs! i looked and said y do u have my paystub and she said whats wrong with that?! I snatch the folder from her and leave bcus at this point she doesnt want to make me copies of anything! I leave and the cops call me telling me that i stole important information with signatures on it. When the cops come i showed him what i had and the girl falsified my w2 form! she put in incorrect wages willing and didnt inform me... the reason for me going there was because the said that they would pull up the w2s! the cops escorted me back and made her make me copies which she didnt want to do. I then found out that there is no RAL the made up a fake name on a fake receipt just to manipulate ppl. long story short I called the local district attorney and I have a meeting with them tomorrow. be careful

Wow! My husband and I have the same issue! We first applied for the instant loan Dec 30th and got a measly $100, and then were told that we would automatically get the RAL, 12-48 hrs after Jan. 15th. NEGATIVE. We called the Insight card place (where your refund is sent to) and they seemed to know more than the idiots at Instant Tax Services. They told us, that folks just started receiving refunds yesterday, and we may not get ours until Sunday or Monday, but definitely by the 28th of January. But Instant had said 12-48 hrs which shouldve been Tuesday. But they didnt sumbit our taxed to the IRS until Sunday, after my husband showed up and went "postal" on those jerks, because they hadnt submitted it like they said. Then the owner talked with my husband and said more than likely we will not get the RAL at all, becasue they rarely aapprove anyone. But the Instant Tax in Downtown Dayton said we would, which is up to the bank, being anywhere form $10 -1000. Im confused. So now we are just waiting, it was supposed to be here by Wednesday. It probablay isnt coming til next week. Insight card says they are recieving funds all day and are trying to post it to the cards as soon as possible. Sadly insght card has nothing to do with Instant Tax service they just provide the cards and they dont even know which bank Instant uses to get the loans through. We were and still are in a tight jam, having been laid off Dec 18th, we face eviction due to thsese clowns not having our money as promised. Our landlords are only willing to work with us through this weekend. Thank you Instant tax services. We shouldve stuck with H&R Block like we always have in the past. We just thought we'd get our refund sooner since we were in such a tight jam. BTW, Has anyone recieved their money yet?

I am so glad someone else posted this! Well the same thing is going on here in Chicago! Denied a RAL. How can you be denied when the IRS approved you?unless they had no plan on giving you the loan the first place. Then the prepares at "Instant" is trying to put it on the bank! Everyone is passing the blame. This place is a complete scam, and something needs to be done about it. I am totally enraged. I will do my best to expose them for what they are LIARS!

Instant Tax Service fraudulent claims

I worked at an Instant Tax service, so I can give you guys the full truth about what's happening. I started working at an Instant Tax Service, because they pulled my resume from a popular job search website. I never actually applied with them. I took the job, because I wasn't receiving any calls from other places and I needed a job.

So they scheduled me for an interview, and shortly afterward I began training. I didn't know very much about taxes, and I was probably the youngest one in my class (Early 20's). I signed up for customer service. My main job would be greeting clients, making copies, answering the phones, and filing/looking up documents. They tried to convince me to become a tax preparer, but I never felt very comfortable with it. Anyway, we were all supposed to take a tax preparer test. Customer service was excused from taking it, but I had the option of taking the first two pages just to see how I scored... so I did. Come to find out a couple of weeks later the IRS sent me a tax preparer id without me even completing the test. Several of my classmates didn't even pass the test, and they became tax preparers. That should let you know how shady this place is!

I only worked at Instant Tax Service for a month, but while I worked there everyone that I worked with either quit or got fired. That's how horrible it was! They had us telling the customers so many lies. One was about the RAL. Basically we were told that no one would be approved for the holiday loan or the RAL, but we were supposed to tell people that they didn't "qualify" for it. The thing a lot of customers weren't aware of was that if they applied for the RAL or the holiday loan they were automatically put through the system and forced to file with Instant Tax Service. The owner of our franchise and several other Instant Tax offices also told my manager that if a customer came and changed their mind about wanting to file with Instant Tax Service she was supposed to disregard that, and file them anyway. She said they would change their mind! Yep, illegal I know.

So basically we were telling people that they didn't qualify for the RAL or the three-day returns, so they would automatically roll over to the 10-14 day wait. When the 29th came (The day the returns were due back in) only about half the checks were in. They wanted us to lie again, and say it was the IRS and they were the reason for the hold up. The people were calling the IRS, and asking them about the hold up and they were telling them that it wasn't with them it was with Instant Tax Service. I was then told that they should come in the day after the 29th. The phones were ringing off the hook with complaints and questions, and I had no idea when people would be getting their money in. People were coming by the minute cursing us out asking where their money was.

So I said if I come in on Saturday, and the checks aren't here I'm quitting. I come in on Saturday and not only are there no checks in, there are customers waiting in the lobby, and corporate still hasn't told us when they are coming in. So the manager and I cleaned up the office, and left. I don't know what they are doing with money, but I believe they are pocketing some of the money. I already know they are charging all kinds of fees that aren't necessary. I wouldn't be surprised to see this place on the news. They scam so much! I've never told so many lies in my life to people! I needed a job badly, but not that bad. I would go into work shaking and afraid I was going to get attacked. I may be out of a job, but at least I can sleep at night and there are other jobs out there.

The funniest thing though is one of managers never had a job (At the age of 33), and Instant Tax Service made him a manager!
He was eventually fired for a no-call- no-show. What they didn't know was that he was selling children's social security numbers, and profiting off clients. I remember my second week I overheard a manager and the franchise owner talking about how much we (The employees) didn't realize how many lies we were going to be telling. I didn't understand what they were saying then, but I fully understand now. Before my final day I heard that people from the IRS had come down to the main office, because people were complaining so much. I don't know what happened with that, but I hope they get caught. I'm so happy I never prepared taxes and trusted my instincts.

Please everyone stay away from Instant Tax Service. They will and are stealing your money!

I went to this place because they advertised the special and when I went I only recieved 50.00 for the loan. So when I went back to file it said I would recieve my check within 24 to 48 hours. Well it didn't come until two weeks later and I was still charged 600.00 in bank fees. They are a big rip off and will never go there again. This place needs to get people in there who know what they are doing.

When i went to file my taxes here, they told me that i would get $550 back, because they gave me $50 as a loan. When i went to pick up my check it was only $87, I asked them why and they told me the filing fee is $480. If they told me that before, I would have never filed my taxes there. My sister filed hers for $9, so why who would pay $480 to file taxes if they are only getting $550 in the first place. Never again!

Instant Tax Service fraud, theft of refund check

To whom it may concern:

My name is Dorothea Trent, and I am writing with concerns that I was cheated out of my tax money on my 2008 taxes by Insant Tax service. I know this is wrong because I worked hard pay my bills and it is hard living from check to check to keep my bills paid and by my medication that I need to take daily to stay alive. I was told by my tax preparer when filed my 2008 taxes that the stimulus check I received in 2007 would have to paid back out my 2008 tax money. Because it wasn't free money. If I knew I had to pay it back I would have rathered not filed for the stimulus check in 2007. We all have come together and are working on a class acition law suit in Jacksonville Florida, Texas, Washington D.C. and Maryland. Waiting for response from defendent in fourth circuit court of appeals.

My name is Ellis K. Sanders. Filed my Taxes on Long Beach, CA, on Long Beach and Anahem, in 20012. I got Adited, I proved my case to the IRS. They released my refunds August 14, and they had made no changes to my refund. Instant had my refunds sent to their Bank of Wells Forgo. I then contacted them, and they told me that they knew of no such depost into their bank. Today I call Instant Taxes here in Calfornia, and they did was give the run around. They stole $1, 800. I need my money. I have no job now. Why do they take from us poor folks? I live in Long Beach, California, 414 N. Zona Ct. 90802 Apt. 414. Please help me. I lost my car, and have to take care of my disable sister. Thank you for your time in matter. Ellis Sanders

Upset...I filed my taxes with its 2 years in a row. The only reason I filed was to get the Christmas loan so I can have extra money for Xmas. Last year 2012 season I filed with its and they charged me over 500.00 in fees. I didn't have any understanding to it, they told me they charge different fees according to what they wanted to charge. Also they told me they didn't do direct deposit that I had to get the paper check. When it came time for me to cash the check no where would cash it...not even Walmart... .so I ended up cashing it at check cashing place and they charged me over 200.00. So yes I want part in on the lawsuit so I can receive all my money back from the scammers. What do I need to do here in Richmond Virginia ...please respond thanks

My boyfriend went to Instant Tax service in Milwaukee, WI and they were on the news with all the scamming they've been doing. He paid almost 700 dollars as well, and never told him about the fees until he finally after almost a month received a check substantially less than what the told him...We have called that fabled corporate office in Ohio and never received a call back. filed a complaint with the investigator on our news station and never received any response...Could really use 700 dollars as we are very low income, and it really sucks that there are companies out there...wheres the better business bureau when you need them and further more has anyone contacted them in regards to this?

We had to pay almost $600.00 just to file with them and still don't get my money for 1 month that's bull crap.I have been struggling to pay bills and take care of two children on my own.Being a single parent and expecting to get satisfaction from instant tax services I feel was a rip off to pay $600.00! The employees at the location on smithville road in dayton, ohio were so not professional and they let you sit in there office and figure out how to get in line with no directions of filling out a application first then show id and ss for everyone. I had to watch everyone do it because the employee never told me what to do.I complained to the person doing my taxes about there employee and still got no help! PLEASE NEVER GO TO INSTANT TAX SERVICE! it was a waist of my time and especially my money that I pay to them to do there job right! that's right 1 month to wait for pick up check and pay $600.00 to them!BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER SEEN AND DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE!

Instant Tax Service should be put out of business and I'm even considering a "Class Action Law Suit" against them for what they did to me. In December, 2009, I saw their Ad on television and stop by their local office in my neighborhood. The office was very dirty & the people were very young, but friendly. I attempted to turn & walk out, but one of the young girls talked me into staying & going through the process. After I left, I felt very uncomfortable, so I went the next day to their main office closer to my home. There the workers were very unprofessional and rude. I insisted on making sure all documents they had were destroyed, since they were not there. They agreed "they would be shredded"..

In January, when I tried to file my taxes, I was advised by the "I.R.S. that Instant Tax Service" had already filed my taxes! I could not believe this! They did so with out any of my W2's, 1099's, any documents or my authorization! This is illegal! Please do all you can to warn your family & friends of this scam they're running!

You tasha are an idiot. Good thing this was not a spelling contest. You probably didn't even read your documents that the Instant Tax Service provided you. Any return is checked by the IRS. The return is completed based upon documents YOU submit to the preparer. If you don't understand what you are doing - perhaps you should consider not doing it. It's so easy for any idiot to email a complaint becuase it's faceless you don't have to see the person you are complaining about - that's what a coward does. Instant Tax Service has been around for 20 years and if they were providing unethical service don't you think they would have been shut down long ago. Grow up and take responsibility for your ignorance.

Instant Tax Service 2081 e main st

I went to Instant Tax Service and had my taxes filed they went through every thing with me and told me that I was only being charged $250 plus 100 for the bank fees, I selected 24-48 hours and they said that if it took longer then it would automatically be charged less than that since you pay a little more than if you wait 5-7 weeks. They still charged me 380. I wish that I would have filed it myself at Free tax USA.com like I have done for like 3-4 years in the past and even for other people had never had a problem I won't make that mistake again.

Thanks for listening.

My husband is in the military, we went to tax services because we were told that we could get a better deal with Instant Tax Services...NOT. We are now beig audited because they failed to list his income incorrectly, they were deducting in one area and not claming it! They said that they were familure with military W-2's. Once we recieved the IRS paperwork we contacted the office and were told that they would need to contact the IRS and take care of it because they would not speak to us due to the fact that we are not tax prepaiers. Dummy us, we believed them.

1 month later we recieve the same paper ork form the IRS saying that they have not heard a reply and notifying us that there are penalties adding up, now no one is answering the phone and I am now having to hunt down someone at the Corprate office! Not to mention that all the numbers the IRS has, there is no live body to answer a question or direct my husband and I in the right direction.
Did I mention that there is a Triple Tax Guarente that not all Instant Tax Service franchises offer! It is optional when they open their franchise and is not mandated by the corprate office! That makes me feel so much better!

I filed my taxes wit instant tax services in lorain, ohio jan. 2012 and I was supposed to get 3600 dollars back, well for starters I didn't get my refund back until the end of feb. They told me I would have it back in two weeks I filed jan. 17 that wasn't true, next when I did receive it back on my debit card it on had 2600 dollars on it I called everyday for a month straight and the lady mary or lisa just kept saying that there was a mistake and told me some famous ### lie that the irs had changed the amount of earned income a bunch of ###! I've filed taxes for over 13 years now and I've never been through this crap before . I will never ever ever file with this rip off company again I hope the bbb have them shut down for good they even messed up my sisters refund as weel I think their probably stealing a lot of our refunded amounts they even had the nerves to charge me a over 400 dollars just to file that ### is crazy and so are them!...

I went into the location in Charlotte, NC and it was the same scenrio. I have filed a formal complaint with the BBB here and called the news network and the network told me that since I have a complaint with the BBB they are not going to do anything because it is the same legwork. Only I was charged over $500 to wait 2 weeks. I called my the lady who has done my taxes over the past 5 years or more and she told me that basically no one and I mean no one can do last pay stub or RALs. She said that though she could not prove it, she believes that the other two big names ( H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt) were loaning out their own money. That in the past the banks were loaning off of the earned income credit. Even if you were approved for a RAL through the other two, that you had to have stellar credit and getting back at least $2000 in federal refund without the earned income credit amount. I should have driven the hour and fifteen minutes back to my hometown and had her do my taxes. Even when Instant Cash Loans were being done, I never paid that much and I walked out of the office with a check that day. RALs are a thing of the past so don't be fooled by the advertisments no matter what they say.

So for anyone out there, do your own taxes with turbo tax or the places that will file for free. Even with turbotax it is $67 and they will take it out of your refund for $30 more and that is still less than going to any tax preparer and paying all that money and still having to wait 2 weeks. For me, I will go back to the woman I have always used or do it myself. At least she is honest.

I wish I would have investigate better as well. I have been on leave from work with only 60% of my pay and have a household of 5 to provide for so when I saw an Instant Tax Service commercial I decide to file my taxes and use them cause they advertised the instant refund. Usualy I do my taxed on Turbo Tax and should have done so this year. I went into Instant Tax service in Houston, Texas Scott Street location on Jan 07, 2011. The guy that completed my taxes had no personality and he didn't provide me with a list of their fees or any formal service at all. He completed the return, told me how much I would get and then told me I was declined for the instant refund. Then he told me since I was declined I had to wait 24-48 hours as well. He told me my refund would be on the debit card he provided for me on January 17, 2011 (Martin Luther King Jr Day) I didnt realise that until I got home and the fact that no ITS details of fees and disclosure info was inclosed in the package only my Tax return. On the friday before January 14, 2011 I call and spoke with the guy who did my taxes to confir this was so because it was a holiday. Once again he assured me they would be there. On January 17, 2011 I called in the eveing because no money had posted and another gentleman answered and aked me why would I think my money would hit on a holiday. I told him b/c that is what I was told even when I called to confirm. He then told me that this too was a loan I would have to be approved for and if I am a pproved they would send me a text message and add $1000 to my card. If no text message then I would have to wait until January 29, 2011. My heart dropped because I had paid all my bills and had only $20.00 to my name and at this point I new they were on some bull. I then google them and found all this negative complaints on them. Since then I have been begging and husling Similac for my infant son and food for my household and my meds. If I would have know they were curupt I could have not paid someone and been able to provide food for my family. Thinking I had my taxes coming I handled my other responsibilites. These people are a rip off and I will be calling them to make sure they don't charge me the instant refund charge. There must be something we can do about this company. The fact that they knew they could not provide instant loans for 2011 and they still advertised as so should be illegle. And after you applied for the loan they do not give you and option to decline them doing your taxes. I wish I would have used Turbo Tax and at least with my debit card I would have gotten my taxes back 2 days sooner and I would not have been charged over $300.00.
