Repairs
We purchased a "NEW" Montana Fifth Wheel from Lazy Days and found after living in it a month that our refrigerator is on the recall list - called Lazy Days for service and have been totally ignored - supposed to return our call but never get one - state that they are not really responsible for repairing our refrigerator but they didn't have any problem with taking our money when it was sold. Its funny when you approach them to purchase anything everything has all kinds of warranties which Lazy Days stands behind and will be there when you need service - until you actually have to call with a problem.
Stay away
My Husband and I purchased a new 2006 Fleetwood RV Motorhome from Lazy days, Seffner, FL. We bought a new unit so as not to have repair problems, little did we know. In one year it has been in for repair 7 times so far with a never ending list. This last time we thought it would be repaired as Fleetwood sent done a service rep but alas when we picked it up; many problems still existed. Currently, we have left it for service a total of 7 times. Most recently under the the "capable hands"of Service Manager D.S. Upon leaving it for service D.S.gave us a 1 hr lecture on how she would never let an RV out without their QC dept going over their work. She would make sure this does not happen with her, so we felt that at last this could be the end of our nightmare. Well, they dropped it off 7/24/07 and when I went to put the jacks down I noticed something wrong with the front seat's, when my husband came home he checked it and we found that the front seats had been put back on opposite sides, the drivers side is electric and the passenger side was very high due to the pedestal. Other things were wrong but this was the most major as my Husband being 6'2" could not drive it. Well this morning I s/w D S who was not very put out about it, they came to fix it but the thing is we have again been put out as this is our home and have had to pay for hotels and have spent so much money for their mistakes, our list still is not completed, still things have to be done. D S is very rude to her customers, just because we have to keep calling her with problems which are not our fault, the only mistake was to buy a Fleetwood from Lazy Days.
Consumer beware as Lazy Days have not repaired the items properly, parts were left on the roof which would have fell off on the highway. All of this things we can back up with pictures and paperwork.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I t0tally agree with you on Lazy Days ... We have had a totally horrible experience with them after purchasing a 2004 Fleetwood and then upgraded to a 2006 Fleetwood due to faulty wiring and a small fire and mold. The 2006 from day one has been a nightmare which they had an accident with it on delivery, leaking roof and the horror goes on ... There are so many unhappy customer's out there which I wish we could all get together for legal action in unison so they do not get away with this! I personally can not afford one on my own. My husband even went to get coach fixed and was excorted off the property by the police! Now come on someone has control in Tampa don't you think? All we need is a lawyer to help! Now it is sitting in the yard UNUSEABLE paying over 1000.00 a month with a workhorse brake recall that NOBODY wants to fix!
