Coffee
I purchased Maxwell Coffee Original Roast Medium as I usually do on the beginning of May and proceeded to use it but on the 15th of May 2023 as I scooped the grounds out of the container there was a mass of something Hairy that was present in the grounds. I am not sure what type of hair it was, human or animal, but it was a surprise that I never bargained...

I have used maxwell house coffee a good deal of my life, so I recently bought medium roast... My coffee was tasting horrible, so I cleaned my coffee pot, (twice), so of course I thought the problem was my coffee pot and went out and bought a new one. Washed it out, made coffee, and still terrible - made some more — still terrible. So, then I realized it was the coffee. I went out and bought some other coffee, and it was fine. I don't happened with maxwell house coffee, throughout the years, it's been wonderful — what the heck happened? I'm so disappointed.
I am not a company - just a retired person, and couldn't find a place to complain.
french roast
I do not know what you were thinking, but your French roast was a medium roast with a VERY GOOD flavor - now it seems you took a very poor decision to make it " dark " roast thus apparently burning your beans and making taste not " robust" but the burnt crap you either throw out if you know good coffee or NEVER buy again- I would like a refund on this container- I will return the unused portion to you, you can send me the label and shipping information so I may return that your quality control ( or what is not passing as such) to test this product, particularly if you follow your measuring instructions- it is the nastiest coffee I have ever spit in my sink. What were you thinking (or not) who ever made these changes should be at least removed from this product line. " Good to the last drop " Really?!? Sincerely, Melissa A.Kraft
Instant large coffee
Back in the 1980 you could make coffee and the smell would go over the house. Even out side of your home. Now you can't smell nothing. And the taste, the taste is a salty taste. Hot or cold, and please dont let it get Cold. The taste is like something you never taste before. If you dont believe me try it for yourseld.
Thank you Vanessa Dantigance
All coffee now taste the same generic nothing taste and the smell is nothing. They are lying to us about all these different brands and they basically are all the same. Back in the 1970s the major coffees all had different strong tastes and smells. My favorite used to be Taster's Choice but it tastes like junk now. The coffee places are now scamming us with watered down junk but mixed with cream and added flavorings.
hazelnut coffee
For years, I have started my day with my favorite home brew, hazelnut coffee. Publix is no longer carrying this flavor. I imagine the price was an issue for many consumers, but I thought it worth the premium. Has it been totally discontinued or is it available someplace else?
Since I retired my morning coffee and a good book are the perfect way to start the day. I drink my coffee black, no sugar, so the flavor of the coffee is critical.
smaller container
Maxwell House Coffee has come out in a new container they say has a new "Flavor-Lock Pack." They neglect to tell you that there is almost a quarter of a pound LESS coffee inside! The old containers had 33 ounces of coffee, while the new container only has 29.3 ounces! Of course, the price is still the same as the old containers. And after examing the old container with the new one, I can see absolutely no difference in the seals. Just another company that claims something is "new" or "improved, so they can give you less for your money.
I realize the difference in the size of the container. My complaint is the new design of it. It is very hard to grip with the new one. It hardly has any indention for you to hold onto. Think about usseniors who have a hardtime carrying it. Please do somethingto improve it
Also any "New Blend" labels on coffee (i.e., "Country Blend") created at a time when coffee has gotten expensive means they used lower grade beans that you'll probably wind up throwing out. Maxwell House's newer blends are no deal - you have to use twice as much coffee to get the same strength. They've got to be putting sawdust in those cans.
Cheating Customers - Buying their beans from Vietnam - Agent Orange Fields making people sick!!
I went to buy some more coffee only to find that they have made their containers even smaller, again! I compared the container one of the containers I still had and found they cheating the customer by giving them 5 ounces less coffee, but charging them the same!! Last time they pulled this their excuse was gas however, when gas prices came down there price...

I ordered a cup of coffee at a sandwich shop the other day thinking it would be bitter and musky but really wanted coffee. When I tasted it, I was amazed how delicious it was. I ask the waitress what brand it was and she said, to my surprise, 100% Columbian Maxwell House. I just bought my first can today, came home, made a pot and I'm setting here loving my cup of Maxwell coffee. Awesome coffee! Thank you Maxwell House for making a great coffee at a reasonable price for today's economy. KM

I have been buying Maxwell House coffee for years. Usually I buy the Original Roast. The coffee is terrible. The taste is meh and the after taste is acrid. Won't buy it again. Stuck with a few cans of it now. I did contact the company and received a reply. Going to send me coupons, hope their not for more coffee!
