I bought the SP.8VH01GC01-OEM bulb for my Optoma HD26 and it failed after only 5 months! I was able to get a replacement from the company, but that one failed as soon as I installed it on my projector. The company said I could not get a refund and that I should buy the most expensive one from them instead at $296! Do not waste your money unless you want an...

ProjectorQuest Do not buy from Projector Quest

Purchased replacement bulb on 07/15/10. stopped working after 100 hours of use. contacted them, sent back everything in the same box it came in. 2 weeks go buy, I check website, and a comment on acct stated that the bulb that i sent in did not match records that they have. Acct closed. No contact from them, after live chat and phone call with their GM, they basically accused me of switching the bulb and sending them a different one that they sent. After 30- minutes of explaining that what I sent them is exactly what I rec'd, I was told their manufacturer would not except the replacement, and I was SOL. They wouldn't even send me back what I sent them. When asked could I speak with someone else, The GM stated that she was the only person to speak to and the company was a corporation and the complaint would go nowhere. Better Business Bureau here I come. Horrible customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM PROJECTOR QUEST!

I bought a Projector bulb from Projectorquest. The first bulb failed in 5 months, still under warrantee, They sent me a replacement quick, free, no problems. The new bulb only lasted 8 Months 800 hours. Im out of Luck. Only 6 month warrenty. My original bulb from Manufacturer lasted two years 2000 hours.

BEWARE!!! Do not buy anything from this Co. they do not stand behind there products. I purchased a TV projection lamp from them Feb. 15th 2011. My TV stopped working August 10th 2011. I finally was able to get someone to come and look at my TV and they told me the lamp was bad. My first lamp lasted for almost 6 years and this bulb has lasted less than six...

ProjectorQuest Shoddy product w/ no refund/replacement

I purchased a projector bulb from Projectorquest for $189.00 that was a quarenteed replacement for the original. The original lasted over 4 years, their's lasted less than 6 months of use. Since I was over their 6 month warranty due to purchase date the best they would do is give me a $10 off coupon. I talked to multiple people in the company and their parent company to no avail.

I am a buyer for a large unified school district and we have not had any issues with Projectorquest.com. Not to say we have not had to return an item to them. We get a pre-paid UPS return label and our replacement was shipped out same day as they received it. We continue to buy from them because as a school district, we can not play around with other companies who may have similar pricing but very expensive return policies. Once we ordered the wrong item from another company and had to pay a 30% restocking fee. On a $1100 projector, this ended up to be a very costly mistake. Projectorquest.com has a zero restocking fee. As for some of these complaints about warranty issues.. if it out of warranty, why do they feel they have a claim. We deal with large manufacturers and they all have warranty expiration dates. These comments seem to be very biased and un-reasonable. I know Projectorquest.com is a reputable company and would recommend them to anyone. I hope this helps.

mine did not even last 2 months. after returning bulb in the housing unit they sent me. I was informed that the serial numbers from the bulb did not match their records. although the housing unit serial number did. They accussed me of switching bulbs out and refused to even consider that the mistake was on their end. After 30 minutes of getting nowhere with their GM, I am taking the complaint to the BBB of NY. I am out $186 for the mix up. They refused to even send back the broken bulb. Very shady business.Beware.
