Streamtel No support, broken promises

Streamtel delivered defective equipment, has not made good on promises for support and upgrades, failed to refund overpayments, will not return calls and emails, and basically are disreputable. The president/owner, Mr. Zanetti, is sleazy and dishonest. Do not do business with him unless you want to have your money stolen.

I agree completely with Mr. Skehan, Streamtel is completely void of any business professionalism in responding to their customers needs or problems with the products they sell. I too have purchased their IMUXER multiplexer and have had no success in Streamtel responding with support to remedy the situation. The Streamtel IMUXER product was purchased from a Canadian company AdvancedDigital and they too have been quiet remiss in actively trying to get Streamtel to respond to the problems. Very fustrating, Very disappointing, A Very Costly Experience...

The real boss at streamtel was Mr. Lucio Mangiarotti together with his executive man LUCA GALLI

we bought from him our equipment too ...

Not knowing we are a group, He called another of our sisters company few weeks ago saying that now he is the manager of VTE ( www.vtesrl.it )
and sells teri new technology with brand /removed/

Stay away from Lucio Mangiarotti and Luca Galli ! and their newest magic...

Streamtel THIS IS A GOOD COMPANY - ASK ME !

We visited Streamtel in september, and we've bought some equipments from them.
These are not only industrial-made, but also exclusive and with excellent performances.
We've tested everything, and everything IS in the box, no questions.
So i can only say that maybe they had some issues in the past, but now, this company is absolutely reliable and serious.
While in there, i've asked about these compliants, and there are questions behind that most of the times depends from the final customer, not sending the whole money, or not sending the tax, or the carrier to pick up the goods.
There is ONE on top of all that is Mr. TONKA of SPACELINX that is really smart, since he bought equipment, and personally picked these one year ago at streamtel, paying after testing. Then, after one year, he went to streamtel saying he would like to exchange two irds with two HD encoders plus some money for free !
Wow guys, Mr. Tonka is better than mafia ! Something like you buy a car, then next year you want two new and some money for free.

So BUY FROM STREAMTEL, THEY ARE GOOD GUYS YOU CAN TRUST !

Please CALL ME SO I GIVE YOU ALL THE INFO AND TELL YOU MORE ABOUT TONKA, the best illegal
frauder ever.

THIS EQUIPMENT WAS SENT TO THE CUSTOMER ON JULY THE 30 2009 !

Ask streamtel for complete proof of FEDEX documents, receipt of the customer and packing slip EXACTLY as bought.

This customer is not saying true things

We placed an order in Jan. We were promised that it will take no more than 4 weeks to deliver. Feb passed, March passed and now we are in April. I sent emails and no replies.
I started to feel its a fraud company. I hope not.

All comments coming from Ron99 or under other names like Raymond etc. are posted by Luca /removed/, Streamtel's president.
He is writing everywhere that I - Lucio /removed/- was the global manager of STREAMTEL, but this is a total lie.
He is only trying to offload his responsibilities and the responsibilities of his wife and partner /name removed/, and pin the blame on me or on someone else that is no more part of the company. Inside Streamtel only these two people had and still have the power to take any strategic and administrative decision.
Now they are telling that me and Luca Galli, who also quitted Streamtel some months ago, were the brains, and they are using this strategy only because we are no more in the Company and it is very easy to say that people that is no more there is guilty for every problem happened in the past.
Mainly when you read in the comments that Streamtel is a good company and customers are satisfied, this means that this comment has been written by them.
Don't believe in any positive comment !
There are so many legal actions against them, from cheated customers, that they have now planned to run away from Italy and go to Switzerland, opening a new Company under a different name, but with the same product line, so trying to renew their frauds.

Streamtel is chock full of thieves. Whoever wrote the positive comments about them probably works there, or his name is ZANETTI!

I have warned them that if they EVER show up at an industry trade show again, I'll be there to tell everyone how dishonest they are. They won't stand a chance.

actually we've sued Streamtel for their crappy products, non-existant hardware (promised as already on the market) and non-existent warranty support.

Streamtel NON PAYMENT - BEWARE!

We are owed $16k by Streamtel and today the phones are not working, have they gone into administration?
We too have tried using an Italian lawyer but the process is slow to say the least. It seems you can commit fraud in Italy and by the time the legal system will get you through the courts you will be a long time dead!

we pay 3600 EUROS in Aug for modulator, the sales is Monica 106. Until Dec 2008. We are still not get the goods. We call and call, nothing work

Streamtel No Delivery

We placed order with stramtel regarding IPTV system named Smartcaster and receiving devices called set-top boxes, the order was for 3 smartcasters and 26 set-top boxes with amount of 15600 Euro, we received 1 smartcaster after 8 months and another piece after another 4 month, s and nothing else untill now, no one answer telephone calls or mails now and at the begingin the sales contact who made the deal with us disapeared and they say that she lefft the work, her name is Manal Shoukry, any one deal with this company have to take care for his money, because once you transfer money to their acount you will receive nothing from them.

Streamtel Delivery

Can anyone help? We placed an order with Streamtel and paid 21, 000 euros at the beginning of April this year. We were promised we would have delivery by the end of May and are still waiting. We are not getting a definate date from them as to when we will receive the goods. We are losing faith in this company, has anyone taken legal proceedings to claim their money back? Is it worth all of us making a claim together, does anyone have any further details as to whether this company is subject to fraud? Many Thanks

We placed an order of 4000euro since nov 2008 till now no call, email have been sent. That company is a fraud and criminal company. We cant even get any law enforcement to investigate. This is from Lagos, Nigeria.

At the pricing they are charging, it is amazing they are still in business. The old saying still holds. If it is too good to be true, it probably is.

We ordered electronic equipment from Streamtel and never received the product. It has been almost a year since ordering and we are out of pocket almost 13K USD. I just want everyone to understand that we are victims of this company and after reading this board, not the only ones. BEWARE OF STREAMTEL!!!
