Heads up agent parents! I learned about supermodels unlimited online and decided to contact them because they were having a pageant in our area. Over the span of more than half a dozen emails I asked questions to learn what the required and optional events were, and about the rules and expectations for the contestants. Even though I asked several times that...

Supermodels Unlimited Scam

This magazine, if you want to call it that, is nothing but a scam and should be put out of business. Kim, Marc and Lisa are very good at charming people and feeding you endless lies. We shot with them two times. The first time was in a hotel. Pics were shot outside until it rained then we were taken to a high level story in the hotel and they finished the shoot in the lobby. My daughter had to change clothes in a PUBLIC PARK in front of homeless people on benches. They were 5 hours late for the shoot. I am not kidding. When we got there, there were 2 other families ahead of us. We eneded up having to stay the night and pay for a motel room since they were running so late. The second time was in some supposed studio that had about five models plus their families in there, all the clothes, 2 photographers, make up and hair people. It was ridiculous. We were supposed to get a 2-3 page spread for the first shoot and a CD. We were told it would be a fall back-to-school issue and be in the September issue . . . well that came and went along with Oct, Nov, Dec, January. Sent several emails, FB messages, phone calls with none returned excpept to be deleted from their facebook account. Imagine that? Finally Kim returned an email stating I was harrassive to her. WOW . . . maybe if her or Marc would have returned a call or message I would not have to keep sending them. Then I was told that it would be out soon and they are too busy to be dealing with this. She finally was in an issue, ONE PHOTO, not the 2-3 page spread we were promised. Two years later . . . still waiting on the CD. It was a terrible photo, unedited, messy hair. . . . They had to have picked the worst shot they had as the photographer showed me some shots that were amazing. I suppose I was such a pain for asking too many questions so my daughter paid the price.

The second shoot the photo was supposed to be in the summer issue of 2011. Well . . . it finally ran a couple of months ago. This time only a 1/2 page with one photo. Still did not get the 2-3 page spread. That CD did show up one year later though. What good is it now . . . it is a year old. This photo was ok but here were about 25 better ones on the disc than the one that was put in the magazine.

Tried dealing with Lisa and she got sick of the constant questions, so told me to contact Kim . . . well that fell on deaf ears then Lisa said contact Marc . . . he did not respond. Then one day . . . . The CD was in the mailbox.

If you are thinking about shooting with them, or walking in a show . . . . I would run like HELL and not look back. Trust me, I have spoken to over 40 families that have had similar experiences.

Lies, Lies and more Lies! Nothing is what they say...They will tell you you are shooting somewhere fabulous, then when you get there its a run down building in the hood. They tell you that you will be in may issue...then only after several months of complaining you might be in it if your lucky! I know plenty that were never published. Your suposed to get your disc of photos right after the magazine is published ...ya right! Try several months laterIF your lucky cuz Im still waiting on mine and the pics are of terrible quality and so old that you cant use them! They advertise there events as 100% for charity and then never donate said money to the charity! They are total SCAM artists! save yourself from a night mare and a lot of money for nothing and DO NOT do buisness with This aweful joke of a magazine!

This magazine is such a joke.SU was supposed to be launching their magazine in Canada the fall of 2011. I paid them $500 for both my daughters to have a "3 look, professional photo-shoot with hair, makeup and all photos on CD and to be in the Canadian launch issue". We had to bring our own clothes and the hair and make up were not professional. They kept putting off the launch date...Sept, then Oct, then Nov etc. This went on for months. Every time I made contact with them they were down right rude and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and went as far as blocking a bunch of us on Facebook. I waited almost a yr for the photos on CD and then when I got them they were horrible. Poor lighting, someones feet in pics etc! I could have went to someone local and had my girls pictures done for half the price and much better quality. The magazine wasn't even launched in Canada as stated. The girls had their photos in an US issue of the magazine and if SU hadn't sent us a complimentary copy we would have never known as we are in Canada. My one daughter had a full page but my other daughter only had a half page. All SU does is make promises, take your money and never follow through...

SCAM SCAM SCAM ... I dealt with this company and am disgusted with them and all their "employees". Kimberly Lawrence, Lisa Blackman and Marc Passero are all scam artists - they collect money for photo shoots - offer covers for your children and then you get nothing. They also do a lot of fashion show events and claim that money goes to chairty - NOTHING has been donated to charity. Stay Away from these ppl - you should not have to pay to be in a magazine! SCAM!

They lure people in with telling people that their photo shoots and shows are 100% for charity and the profits all go to the organizations for charity. They charge parents hundreds and thousands for promise of being involved in a charity event for s good cause and getting photos and exposure with agents and stars. it has been found out that the charities have not received the money they state they have raised for them
