Undercover Auto Recovery damged property unprofessional behavior

I had my car Repossessed by Undercover Auto Recovery (completely my fault) I was unable to make full payment due to UAC's billing system. They had received a partial payment directly from my work on this day. I was home all day at 8pm I left for a quick errand with my daughter and boyfriend in a different vehicle. I come home and my car is no where in site. I had no notification this was happening so I had a lot of items in the vehicle and was unsure if the vehicle was stolen. Of course I try to call my finance company UAC and they are CLOSED for the day. I drive 15 to the local Carhop location and see my truck sitting there (obviously repossessed.)
I look inside (I still have keys at this point) and most my items are Missing I grab the few items remaining that will fit in my other vehicle and wait until the morning. I contact my finance company and begin trying to make arrangements. I am informed my items were taken by the Towing company Undercover Auto Recovery. I call them at 9:30 am and tell them I want my items. I am informed I have to pay $40 for my items and I must drive to Apple Valley which is an hour and a half from my home (plus I have to call for my boyfriend to pick me up due to my car being repoed.) The lady on the phone is very rude to me while I'm explaining I need my things but making it to Apple Valley by 11 am is almost impossible. She tells me if I'm not there by 11:10 they will leave and I will have to wait another day for my items. I asked her if they could make an exception for 11:15 since it was such a drive. She said no 11 was their only opening for the day because its hard to get in the day after your towed?
Anyways I speed ALL the way to Apple Valley where I was instructed by the lady on the phone to meet the driver in the home depot parking lot with $40 cash. This all seems very odd that we don't meet at their facility, so I contact the Police to meet me there. Upon arrival the tow truck is sitting in the back of the lot. We pull up the driver gets out and Asks my name and for my drivers license. I inform him we have the police on the way that we needed to wait until they get there. I reach in the car to retrieve my license and the driver approaches the open door of my boyfriends car. My boyfriend instructs him to back away from the car. My boyfriend then took a picture of the driver as instructed by my boss (who is a lawyer) and went to take a picture of the front license plate. As he does this the driver gets back in the truck and starts to drive FORWARD toward my boyfriend who puts his hands out as he notices the truck coming toward him. He is pushed on the ice more than a foot by the truck. The truck then leaves Home Depot.
The Police show up and we inform them of happenings and give them plate number. The tow truck returns to the scene 5-10 minutes later with another car on their truck. Accompanied by the police the driver approaches my car with a half written list of items retrieved from my truck. I glanced at the list and told him I wanted to verify the items before I signed the bottom (Which states I verified my items) The driver tells me he will not let me see my items until I sign it. I ask for a copy of it before I sign it and he goes and writes out another copy. Upon his return to our vehicle I am video recording and ask the driver again if I can verify my items. And again I am told no. SO I keep my video on as he requests the $40 cash with police still present and make him sign my copy of the list. They go back to their truck and pull my daughters toy box and car seat mount out of their uncovered back of their pickup the items are covered in mud, sand, and sleet. They then pull a big black garbage bag out of their truck. I put the items in my car and leave.
Once home I notice that money, a debit card, and gift cards along 1 of my daughters shoes are missing. My ipod mount is broken and my daughters clothes stained with washer fluid that had leaked all over the bag. Upon further inspection I notice there is garbage from the floor boards of the vehicle thrown in with all my personal items. My ipod and charger my computer and my gps are all just thrown in the bottom of the bag. This I believe is improper storage that I was charged for on MY OWN items to begin with. This company is very crooked and really takes advantage of the Grey Area of the Law that they function within this is a predatory towing company BEWARE!

Undercover Auto Recovery Scam and theft!

I made a mistake and got a car repossessed, I went outside and they had the car on a hook, and I asked them why they didn't just drive it away? they said give us the keys, and I told them I would after I got my property out of the vehicle, I had a ton of stuff in the car so i told them I'd be right back, because I needed to get some boxes, I went into the house and they had the car in the street and I gave them the keys and that was it, I payed the recovery fee to get my car back and when I got to the car everything was missing from it, they kept my keys, and my FOB for alarm, and stated that they never had the keys, I called the cops and they laughed at me... I contacted the finance company and they told this happens all of the time, what a freaking joke, now I'm out about 2k worth of belongings... Watch out if these ### come to your house...

The customer came out during the repossession, he asked if he could clean out his car. He clean out what he wanted in his car, said he'd be right back. He came back threw the keys at the driver and said take it I don't want it anymore. At this time we assumed he removed all personal property out of the vehicle that he wanted. I received a call two weeks later stating that his stuff that was in his car is missing. I looked at the notes the driver left and it said customer cleaned out vehicle. I came back on the phone and said I thought you cleaned out your vehicle, he screamed at me, called me names and said I'll be hearing from his attorney and hung up. To this day I haven't heard back from him. In checking personal property, we do have a few items he left behind. In his statement he is counterdicting himself, he said he would give us the keys after he cleaned out his vehicle, which to our knowledge he received the personal property he wanted.
