Vogt RV Website

We have been looking at RVs for over a year and the only dealership in Texas that has the make/model we're interested in buying is at Vogt RV. On our way back from a trip to Oklahoma, we put the address in our phone to find the location. The directions took us to an industrial complex off F.A.A. Road near the airport. When we called, the receptionist said we had to use Haltom, not Forth Worth. She then stated she's been trying to change the website for two years. We finally arrived another twenty minutes later (in all the GPS directions literally took an hour probably 45 minutes longer to find (we still had to drive south of San Antonio). Ironically, as we entered the showroom, the receptionist was on the phone with another couple who were also stuck near the airport due to the GPS directions.

Further, there was an RV show that day there really weren't any sales people around except for the finance guy. We saw what we needed to see and since we're still a year from buying, we'll wait for the 2018 models. However, a simple change to the website will save many customers from a very bad first impression.

Vogt RV Being sold a RV with damage

My boyfriend and I went in and looked at a RV at Vogt. We found one we liked and we brought to our salesmans attention that the rear on both sides had severe ripples and somewhat soft. Our salesman said he would ask if they would wholesale it out if it had damage. The service mgr and sales mgr stated it did not and it was "structurally sound" were there words. We took them at their word and we took it out 3 weeks ago for the first time and we accidently put a 2x6 hole in it. When we looked at the hole we noticed it had rot on the wood. We called Vogt RV and they told us to bring it in, they would not repair the damage that was apparently there. That was why it had the ripples just as we expected. But Vogt refuses to do any repair or replace but did suggest that the hole we put in it would cost between $500-800 to repair. I feel like we got the one that got thru without much inspection and I feel like they need to make good on damage apparently the former owners neglected to mention or Vogt failed to catch. We would not recommend this RV dealer to anyone we know. So when we repair the trailer ourselves look for a thread so you can see the damage that was there and they failed to catch even after we pointed it out and it will costs us a small fortune to repair. NOT A REPUTABLE PLACE AFTER ALL IF YOU ASK ME. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...I THINK NOT..

They definitely don't want to help you if you didn't buy your unit from them. I tried to schedule a service appointment for my Tiffin Allegro RED 36QSA for two items. The Lippert electric step has a safety recall on it and the Whirlpool residential refrigerator has quit cooling. Service told me: 1) They are not participating in the recall on the step and 2) call Whirlpool yourself. I've been taking my coach there for about a year and the service has always been great until now. I even spoke directly with Bob Tiffin about it and he didn't understand why Vogt wouldn't help me either. It's time to find a new service center that cares a bit more about their customers.

We took our motorhome in for some warranty repairs. We were told that since we did not purchase from them that they would get to us when they could that if one of their customers came in that they would get the priority over us. They test drove our unit and during the drive they damaged our electrical tow cable. When we brought this to their attention they said it was our responsibility to tie everything down. They flat out got rude with us and refused to replace it. We finally reported them to the BBB and only then did one of the owners call and offer to replace the cord. Since I had already purchased another one I just told him to forget it. I don't usually write reviews but I felt these people needed to come down a notch and I personally cannot give them any stars.

I believe they were upset with me because I did not purchase the unit from them. I tried to deal with them because they are local. Their prices are high and they pretty much tell you to take it or leave it. I even showed them the other offers hoping they would match it so I could purchase local. Even then they brushed me off.

Lousy dealership I cannot recommend them and I would suggest you do a little internet price research prior to purchasing from them.

There are other dealerships in the area that will appreciate your business even if you don't purchase from them and are happy to do the warranty work.
