Mixed Experience with Rhino Camera NL: Unfriendly Customer Service, but Order Eventually Arrived
So, I had a bit of a rough start with Rhino Camera NL. When I reached out to their customer service, the first person I spoke with was pretty unfriendly and even a bit cheeky. It wasn't a great first impression, and I started to worry that I might have fallen into some kind of scam. I mean, the website didn't look all that professional to begin with, and when I tried to speak to someone in Dutch, I still got the same person speaking English. It just didn't seem right.
But, I decided to persist and see if I could get some help. Eventually, I was able to speak with a manager who was much more friendly and helpful. They even promised to give me a track number for my order, which was a relief. Still, I couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy about the whole thing.
I ended up contacting my credit card company just to be safe, and they assured me that I was insured for any potential loss. That definitely helped put my mind at ease a bit. But, I have to say, it's pretty strange that there isn't a track number available on the website. That seems like something that should be pretty standard.
All in all, I wouldn't say it was a great experience dealing with Rhino Camera NL. But, I did eventually get the help I needed, and my order did arrive in the end. So, I guess it all worked out okay.
Disappointing Customer Service and Limited Delivery Options at Rhino Camera NL
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Rhino Camera NL. First off, I couldn't find the livechat link anywhere on their website, even though the instructions said it was in the bottom corner. I looked and looked, but no luck. So, I decided to call their number, but all I got was an automated menu that just cut me off after telling me what the options were. I mean, come on, can't they at least connect me to a service agent?
Anyway, I had to resort to sending e-mails, which took way too long to get a reply. And don't even get me started on their delivery options. They're way too limited. I work all day, so I can't be at home to accept a delivery. And I can't have it delivered to my workplace either. I'm going on holiday this weekend and I need the camera before then. I tried to arrange for the Pakjegemak service, which is supposed to let me have it delivered to my local post office for collection, but that didn't seem to be possible either.
Now, I'm probably going to miss the delivery on Friday and have to stay home all day Saturday just in case it gets delivered then. Or worse, it might get sent back to the retailer. I mean, seriously, what kind of service is this? It's absolutely hopeless. I wouldn't recommend Rhino Camera NL to anyone.
Rhino.nl Review: Good Prices, User-Friendly Website, But Room for Improvement in Aftersales and Shipping
I recently ordered a Canon D70 camera with an extra lens and filter, as well as some other accessories, from Rhino.nl on January 27th, 2014. The total cost was around 1,600 euros. Even though I live in France, I decided to order from a Dutch webshop due to some negative experiences I've had with French ones in the past.
Overall, I found Rhino.nl to have a very user-friendly website with reasonable prices and quick presales information. However, there were a few areas where I felt they could improve.
One issue I had was that they offered filters but not lens hoods. Additionally, their aftersales communication was lacking. It was clear that they were using translation software, so I would advise them to communicate in English instead. The shipping was also problematic. On January 28th, Rhino informed me that my order had been shipped and would arrive no later than February 5th. However, there was no tracking information provided. After several emails, my order finally arrived on February 14th. The packaging seemed a bit primitive, but it was effective. Unfortunately, the Class 10 SD card I ordered turned out to be a simple Class 4, which is not suitable for HD video. I still need to exchange it.
My advice to Rhino.nl would be to be more transparent with their customers. For example, they could let customers know that orders are shipped from a central location in Europe (not just the Netherlands). They should also implement a Track & Trace system. If they make these changes, I believe Rhino.nl could become a major player in the market. And who knows, maybe they'll even hire a Dutch-speaking employee!
Rhinocamera Review: Great Prices and Extra Warranty, but Packaging and BTW Invoice Could Be Improved
I stumbled upon Rhinocamera while searching for a new lens for my camera. I was comparing prices on different websites and Rhinocamera had the cheapest price by far. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they also offered an extra year of warranty. I read a few reviews before making my purchase and felt confident that everything would go smoothly.
When I received the invoice, I noticed that they didn't provide a BTW invoice. This means that if you're buying for your business, you won't be able to claim the BTW back from the Belastingdienst. This wasn't a big deal for me, but it's something to keep in mind.
The delivery time was a little longer than what you would expect from a normal shop, but it was within the estimated date mentioned at the time of purchase. When the lens arrived, I noticed that the packaging wasn't in the best condition. The carton was damaged, but thankfully the lens was okay.
I purchased a Nikon lens and was surprised to find that it didn't come with a warranty certificate. I contacted customer support and they explained that they send it to their insurance in order to provide the extra year of warranty (3 years in total). The product is working fine and the price was definitely worth it.
Overall, I had a good experience with Rhinocamera. The price was unbeatable and the extra year of warranty was a nice bonus. The only downside was the packaging and the lack of a warranty certificate, but these were minor issues that didn't affect the quality of the product. I would definitely recommend Rhinocamera to anyone looking for a good deal on camera equipment.
Mixed Experience with Rhino Camera NL: Product Great, Customer Service Not So Much
I was so happy when I got my order confirmation from Rhino Camera NL. It was like a weight lifted off my shoulders. But then, things got a bit rocky. I tried to use the online chat to get some help, but it was like talking to a brick wall. They didn't seem to understand what I was asking and couldn't provide any meaningful help. I found that emailing them was the best way to communicate.
I tried calling them once, but it wasn't a pleasant experience. The person on the other end of the line seemed like they didn't want to be bothered and was a bit rude. It left a bad taste in my mouth.
One thing that was a bit frustrating was that there didn't seem to be any way for me to track my order. I was getting a bit worried when I didn't hear anything for a while, but then my order arrived on time. It seems like Rhino Camera NL is able to track orders, but they don't make that information available to the customer.
I also found the website to be a bit misleading at times. They suggest that buying a pack will give you a better price, but when I ordered a camera, SD card, and bag together, the pack price was the same as the sum of the individual items. It didn't make sense to me. And when I clicked on the pack to add it to my shopping cart, it only added the camera, not the extras that were supposed to come with it.
Despite these issues, I have to say that I was really happy with the product I received. It was exactly what I wanted and it arrived in perfect condition and on time. I just wish that the customer experience could have been a bit smoother and less stressful.
Disappointing Experience with Rhinocamera.nl: Poor Service and Wrong Adapter Sent
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Rhinocamera.nl. I thought I was getting a good deal by saving a hundred bucks, but boy was I wrong. Their service is just downright depressing. I mean, I ordered from a Dutch website, so I expected to get a camera with a Dutch wall plug. But nope, what I got was a camera with an English DC charger adapter and a cheap travel adapter from Alibaba. I mean, come on, I spent almost a thousand euros on this camera and they couldn't even bother to send me the right adapter? Now I have to carry around two big adapters just to use my sleek, compact camera. It's like I'm on a never-ending vacation or something.
And that's not even the worst part. They didn't even send me the 64GB SD card that I ordered! When I called to ask about it, they just told me to write an email. Seriously? I tried to get the right power adapter from them, but it took them two whole weeks just to send me a power cord. And when I emailed them again with a picture of what they should have sent me, they said they couldn't provide the part. It's like they don't even care about their customers, they just want to shuffle boxes and make a quick buck.
Honestly, I wouldn't waste my time with Rhinocamera.nl. There are plenty of other places to order from that actually care about their customers and provide good service. Save yourself the headache and order somewhere else.
Stay Away from Rhino Camera NL: Terrible Warranty Service and Communication
I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend Rhino Camera NL to anyone. I bought a Nikon D7500 from them back in April 2021, but within a year, the charger stopped working. So, I reached out to RHINOCAMERA to claim my warranty. That was on March 14th, and I had to send the charger in at my own expense for them to check it out. But then, after many emails and weeks later, RHINOCAMERA said they hadn't received the package yet. I had proof from the post that it was delivered, but they still couldn't find it. After a few angry emails, they finally "found" the package and said they would check the charger.
But then, it took forever for them to replace the charger. According to RHINOCAMERA, a new charger was ordered on May 18th, but I had to send 20 emails back and forth just to get that information. And to this day, I still haven't heard anything from RHINOCAMERA. It's been over 4 months now, and I'm still without a charger.
I mean, we're talking about a charger that costs 60 euros here. And it's not even being replaced within the warranty period. I can't imagine what would happen if something more expensive, like the camera itself, became defective. So, I would definitely stay away from Rhino Camera. Sure, they might give you a discount compared to other shops, but it's not worth the risk of losing out on warranty claims.
So, consider yourself warned. They won't be getting any more of my business.
Unreliable Shipping and Questionable Product Quality: My Experience with Rhinocamera.nl
I recently ordered a Sony FullFrame Camera body from Rhinocamera.nl. Unfortunately, the camera was not delivered within the shipping schedule they provided. It would be helpful if Rhinocamera could provide products with a track and trace code so that customers can follow the shipping process, like most online companies do.
UPDATE: I received a Waybill code from DHL from the UK. It seems like the camera may be on its way after all. I will keep you informed.
UPDATE: The camera was delivered on 02-12, a week later than expected. However, I noticed that the seal on the camera packaging was removed, indicating that the packaging had been opened before and was not new. I took pictures of this. The camera comes from Gibraltar and was shipped to the Netherlands via the UK. It is a Sony A7s III camera that is not European, so there is no option for NL language settings, only English and other Asian languages. When I checked, the device had already made 22 clicks. It seems like a used device is being sold as new at Rhinocamera. I paid a normal price for this camera.
Furthermore, the website claims a 5-year warranty and free technical support, but I could not find any information about this after the purchase.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing from Rhinocamera. I have written to the company with a copy to Trustpilot's integrity committee to make sure everyone is aware of this matter.
P.S. The general manager of this company has put pressure on me to remove this review. He called me once and sent me three emails, indicating that he will hold my ordered and paid product until my review has been removed. He did manage to get this review offline (temporarily?) via Trustpilot. However, I want to provide honest information about my experience with this company.
Rhino Camera NL Review: Dishonest Business Practices and Poor Customer Service
I gotta tell ya, Rhino Camera NL is not the place to go if you want to avoid a headache. I ordered a Canon 24-70mm f4 L IS USM lens back in March of 2021 for a whopping 749 EUR. But when I started using it, the photos just weren't coming out right. So, I took it to a pro photographer who told me that the diaphragm was all messed up, which was causing my images to be overexposed.
I reached out to RhinoCamera's support service on August 14th to see what could be done about this issue. They told me to send the lens to their Rhino Returns address in Hengelo, Netherlands, and that they would repair it. So, I sent it off on September 8th, 2022, and waited to hear back from them.
But I didn't hear anything from them for months. Finally, on November 8th, I contacted them to ask about the status of my lens. They told me that they hadn't received it and that I needed to provide proof of delivery. So, I gave them the tracking records and even went to the delivery company to get a proof of delivery with a signature.
I have all the proof that the lens was delivered to Rhino Camera's returns address, and I even have a signature to prove it. But they still claim that they never received it and won't do anything about it. They just keep telling me to check with the delivery company.
I sent another email on February 10th, 2023, asking for a replacement or a refund, but it seems like they're not interested in resolving this matter. So, I'm warning everyone else to stay away from this site. They're clearly not an honest business.
And if that wasn't bad enough, I found out that they offer free memory cards, batteries, or UV filters in exchange for good reviews. That's against the guidelines, and it explains why there are so many positive reviews on their site. I'm going to report them to all the review sites I can find.
Rhino Camera NL Review: Grey Market Goods, No Warranty, Shady Shipping & Returns
I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend buying from Rhino Camera NL. Here's why:
First off, they're based in Gibraltar, which isn't in the EU trading zone. But they've got some kind of shipping loophole through the UK to avoid import taxes. Sounds like a good deal, right? Well, not so fast. If you add in the proper VAT, their prices would be just as high as other e-shops. Plus, the goods they sell are grey market goods without any warranty guarantee. Who knows where they're coming from - maybe Africa or Asia. And even if you argue for the EU 2 year warranty, it's doubtful they'll honor it. They don't even have a physical presence in the Netherlands, just a mailing address that's probably a package forwarder. I read a review from someone who went to visit their office and found it empty.
But let's say you do decide to take the risk and order from Rhino Camera NL. After import to the UK, they use a sketchy packaging service in France that has a ton of negative reviews. People say they returned packages (mostly broken phones) and never heard from them again. I can't remember the name of the service, but trust me, it's not good.
So what happened when I ordered from Rhino Camera NL? Well, after a lot of back and forth with the seller trying to convince me to keep the items, I decided to return the package. I never heard from them again, despite sending multiple emails. This was a package worth thousands of euros, and I even purchased extra shipping insurance in case of any funny business. But that didn't help me once they received it. It took 90 days of disputing the charge with my bank to finally resolve the issue. And get this - Rhino Camera NL never even bothered to respond to the bank's inquiry.
Now, I know there are thousands of reviews out there from people who are happy with Rhino Camera NL. But I wanted to give you the full picture so you can make an informed decision. And just to add insult to injury, there are plenty of reviews out there saying the owner won't accept returns or warranty repairs until people remove negative reviews. That's just shady business practice. Save yourself the trouble and buy from a more reputable seller.
Rhino Camera NL Complaints 10
Rhino Camera NL Review: Good Product, Disappointing Delivery Times
I ordered from Rhino Camera NL on the 3rd of December, thinking that I would receive my product within 3-5 business days, as stated on their website. However, I was sorely disappointed when I went on vacation on the 12th of December and still had not received my order. It was not until the 15th of December that my neighbor informed me that the order had finally been delivered.
I was quite upset with Rhino Camera NL for giving me false information about the delivery times on their website. It is important for companies to be transparent and honest about their delivery times, as it can greatly affect the customer's experience.
Despite this setback, I must say that the product itself was of good quality and I am satisfied with my purchase. However, I do hope that Rhino Camera NL takes steps to improve their delivery times and communication with customers in the future.
Overall, I would recommend Rhino Camera NL for their products, but with the caveat that customers should not rely too heavily on their stated delivery times.
Rhino Camera NL Review: Great Deals, But Prepare for a Wait
I gotta say, Rhino Camera NL is a pretty decent site to cop some camera gear from. But lemme tell ya, the wait time can be a real doozy. Like, I ordered a Canon lens back in November of 2021 and didn't get it until February of 2022. That's a whole three months, folks. But hey, the price was right and I saved some serious cash compared to the RRP.
Now, I ain't gonna lie, I was a bit worried about the whole thing. I mean, I'd never used Rhino Camera NL before and the wait time had me feeling some type of way. But in the end, the lens arrived in tip-top shape. No scratches, no dents, nothin'. It was A1 condition, just like they promised.
So, if you're willing to wait a bit for a good deal, Rhino Camera NL might just be the spot for you. Just be prepared for a longer wait time than you might be used to.
Disappointing Delivery and Packaging from Rhino Camera NL: A Review
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with Rhino Camera NL. I mean, don't get me wrong, the camera itself is great and the price was definitely right, but the delivery was an absolute nightmare. I had to wait for over a week and a half just to get my hands on it, which is just ridiculous if you ask me.
And to make matters worse, the packaging was a total mess. I mean, come on guys, if you're going to ship something as delicate as a camera, at least put some effort into making sure it arrives in one piece.
But the real kicker was when I opened up the box and saw that they had sent me a black Nikon D3300 instead of the grey one I had ordered. I mean, seriously? How hard is it to get the color right?
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Rhino Camera NL is a total bust. Like I said, the camera itself is great and the price was definitely right. But they really need to work on their communication skills. For example, they should have been more upfront about the fact that the battery they included with the camera is not an original Nikon battery, but rather a cheaper replacement with different voltage and current specifications. I mean, I'm not going to use it now, so it's basically just a waste of money.
All in all, I'd say that Rhino Camera NL has some work to do if they want to keep customers coming back. But if they can get their act together and start communicating more clearly with their customers, I think they could really be onto something.

Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Rhinocamera.nl
I recently made a purchase from Rhinocamera.nl for a full frame camera objective. Unfortunately, when I received the product, I realized that it was a DX objective, which was not mentioned in the title or specifications. I was quite disappointed with this, so I decided to contact Rhinocamera to see what could be done.
However, I was not very happy with the feedback that I received from the customer service team. They told me that I could send the objective back using the 14-day cooldown period, but I was hoping for a more understanding response. Despite this, I decided to purchase three other objectives from Rhinocamera since I had recently switched from Canon to Nikon and needed to buy a complete photo outfit, including macro, portrait, and landscape objectives.
Now, I am waiting for Rhinocamera to pay me back for the objective that I returned. Overall, I think that Rhinocamera could improve their customer service and be more understanding of their customers' needs. However, I am still willing to give them another chance and hope that my next purchase will be a better experience.
Rhino Camera NL Review: Easy Website Navigation but Disappointing Customer Service
I recently visited Rhino Camera NL's website and found it easy to navigate. However, when I tried to contact them by phone, I was unable to reach anyone and the call was disconnected twice after a recorded message. Although the website indicated that the item I was interested in was out of stock, I was able to confirm with a chat representative that it was actually available. I decided to wait and see.
In my opinion, it is important for a company to have a phone line available for customers to ask questions. It is disappointing that Rhino Camera NL does not offer this option. As a result, I had to wait a long time before I could use my camera because the charger that came with it was not compatible with European outlets.
Disappointing Experience with Rhino Camera NL: Messed Up Box, No Track&Trace, Non-European Camera
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with Rhino Camera NL. I ordered a Nikon camera from them and was really excited to get my hands on it. But when it arrived, the original box was all messed up and looked like it had been through the ringer. Not a great first impression, ya know?
To make matters worse, I never got a track&trace code so I had no idea when the camera was actually going to arrive. I tried contacting Rhino Camera NL a few times to get some info, but they never really gave me a clear answer. It was pretty frustrating.
When the camera finally did arrive, I was pretty bummed to find out that it wasn't actually a European camera. That means it's gonna be a lot harder to get the full warranty and stuff. Plus, the manual that came with it was just a copied English version. Not super helpful.
Oh, and to top it all off, I found out that because it's not a European camera, I can't even use it for Nikon's flashback offer. Ugh.
Honestly, I wish Rhino Camera NL had been more upfront about all this stuff. It would've saved me a lot of hassle and disappointment.
Disappointing Experience Shopping on Rhinocamera.nl: Poor Website Functionality, Lacking Product Descriptions, and Subpar Customer Service
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience shopping on Rhinocamera.nl. First off, I tried to browse the site using Google Chrome (which is my go-to browser, ya know?) and it just wouldn't work. Like, I couldn't even get the dang thing to load properly. And then, when I finally switched over to a different browser, I found that the product descriptions were seriously lacking. Like, come on guys, give me something to work with here!
But the real kicker was when I paid extra for express delivery and my package still took over a week to arrive. Like, what's the point of offering express delivery if you can't even deliver on time? And when I reached out to customer service about it, they suggested reimbursing me for the express delivery fee. Like, thanks for nothing, guys.
And don't even get me started on the customer service. The online chat reps couldn't even speak Dutch correctly, and their English wasn't much better. And when I tried calling in, I couldn't even get through to someone who spoke Dutch. And when I finally did get someone on the line, they basically just told me that everything was my fault. Like, way to be customer-minded, guys.
All in all, I don't think I'll be shopping on Rhinocamera.nl again anytime soon. It's just not worth the hassle, ya know?
Rhino Camera NL Website Review: Room for Improvement and Trust Issues
So, I gotta say, Rhino Camera NL's website is a bit wonky on my iPad mini. I couldn't access some of the content, which is a bummer. And honestly, the whole site doesn't really give off a trustworthy vibe. Maybe it's because of the Dutch language being used in a not-so-great way.
I'm actually in the market for a new camera body, but I'm hesitant to make a purchase from Rhino Camera. For now, I just ordered a "cheap" lens, which I'll be paying for when it arrives at my doorstep. Unfortunately, I can't do that for higher amounts.
It would be great if Rhino Camera offered the option to pay with PayPal. That might make it easier for me to take the plunge and buy a more expensive item.
But, you know what? If my order arrives and future ones do too, I'll definitely recommend Rhino Camera to others. This is just my first experience with them, and based on the feedback they've received, I think there's a lot of room for improvement. ;-)
Mixed Experience with Rhinocamera.nl: Affordable Prices, But Room for Improvement in Customer Service and Attention to Detail
So, I recently ordered a lens from Rhinocamera.nl and unfortunately, it wasn't in stock. I had to exchange a few emails and chat with them before they offered to send me a different lens, which was 20 euros more expensive, for free. That was a nice gesture, but I have to say, it took a while for them to get back to me. I think they could have been quicker in their response time. It was a missed opportunity for them.
The lens they sent me instead was a different size than the one I originally ordered. The UV-filter and Polarisation-filter that came with the first lens were both 72-mm, but the new lens was 56mm. This means that the filters are now useless to me. I think Rhinocamera should have noticed this and offered to send me filters that fit the new lens.
Despite these issues, I still think Rhinocamera is a good option for people looking for affordable camera equipment. They operate from the UK, which can make transportation and communication a bit difficult for some people, but their prices are great! Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase, but I do think they could improve their customer service and attention to detail.
Unprofessional and Unethical: My Disappointing Experience with Rhino Camera NL
I recently purchased a Nikon Z6II from Rhino Camera NL on December 2nd, 2021. The website stated that the camera would be delivered within 5 days, but unfortunately, I had to wait for 6 long weeks. Every time I inquired about the delivery status, I was told that it would be delivered the following week. This was quite frustrating and disappointing, to say the least.
After waiting for 5 weeks, I decided to leave a negative review on their website. However, to my surprise, Rhino Camera NL responded by saying that they would not help me with the delivery unless I deleted the review. This was quite unprofessional and unethical behavior from a company that I trusted with my hard-earned money.
Despite sending numerous emails, I did not receive any response from Rhino Camera NL. Eventually, after 6 weeks of waiting, I decided to ask for a refund. Thankfully, I received my money back, but the entire experience left a sour taste in my mouth. As a customer, I will never buy anything from them again.
Rhino Camera NL did not provide any information about the delivery status or a tracking code. Furthermore, they use the same website frame for every country, which makes it difficult to reach them. I am not even sure if their address is real. Therefore, I would advise anyone thinking of buying something from them to think twice before doing so.
Overall, my shopping experience with Rhino Camera NL was the worst I have ever had. I have attached some screenshots to this review to help you make an informed decision.
