My son's appointment was 530 pm and we arrived at 542 due to traffic issues on the highway. I called them to tell them we are a bit late. When we arrived, they said we can not take him and they gave us the next appt in 2 months! I told the front to check with the dentist to see if he still can see him but the front lady does not care to check! Once you have the braces placed on, it seems they do not care to adjust them. If it is not important to come today then why we were rushing for this appointment and almost we would have an accident on the highway. If we pay money each appt, they will keep our appt with no cancellation like today. We tried to do the best to be on time and after all that, we went home with big failure and disappointment! Very bad experience today
Be careful and make sure to read your statements they were trying to charge insurance for services they did not do
Be careful and make sure to read your statements they were trying to charge insurance for services they did not do. When we went they said they couldn't verify insurance after xrays then gave us a referral to oral surgeon and had us leave. No cleaning was ever done.

Overall my bridge is beautiful, but the teeth are bigger then my teeth
Overall my bridge is beautiful, but the teeth are bigger then my teeth. My smile is different on left side because teeth so much bigger then on right or bottom. I now have a lisp when w talk. Bridge is also too fat for my mouth. Doctor said bridge was perfect. I have to live with these big teeth on left side of face. Too big for my mouth.

I'm very disappointed as I liked Risas dental a lot before my last two appointments
I'm very disappointed as I liked Risas dental a lot before my last two appointments. I went in complaining of pain around a cavity. My Dr. said not to worry about the cavity and he made adjustments to my $3000 partial which helped the pain. When I returned 6 months later to get that cavity filled he tells me he has to pull it as the cavity is too big. Rendering my partial useless! Aren't cavities supposed to be filled while they're small? I did my part. I shouldn't have to get a new partial because of his bad decision.

I am very disappointed at Risas dental and braces located in South Chambers Rd
I am very disappointed at Risas dental and braces located in South Chambers Rd. in Aurora Colorado. First of the orthodontist that I was working with during the beginning of my treatment left the company and I believe he did not discuss my situation with the new doctor, therefore, my braces were removed before the time we discussed and I noticed that my teeth are not aligned. Then, I tried to schedule an appointment to be seen and discuss this information but I was unsuccessful. I feel that I wasted more than 3000 dollars as I have not received the result that I expected. I hope that I can get some sort of resolution to my current situation through this page.

I had a small cavity filled, and now I don't even think I had a cavity
I had a small cavity filled, and now I don't even think I had a cavity. The dentist took about 2 hours. My mouth was numb for 6 hours and I had acute pain in my jaw, headaches, and tooth sensitivity for a week and a half following the procedure. I contacted the office regarding my symptoms. I was told that they did not have any openings for several weeks, but I could come in and see if "they could fit me in." I was told that I had to see the same dentist. I saw a doctor who said my jaw was infected with an abscess and that I was at risk of losing my tooth. My jaw could barely open up and hurt very badly. I am now on antibiotics for 10 days. I had a horrible experience with this dentist and when I complained to them I was told it didn't matter, that there was nothing they could do. No responsibility at all or follow up.

Hello I wanted to email you guys about my experience with Risas Dental
Hello I wanted to email you guys about my experience with Risas Dental. I came in 3years ago to get braces. I have always felt like I don't really get great care just kind of in and out as fast as possible. I started with one orthodontist and now have a diff one all with Risas Dental. I came in on April 28th to get my braves removed (finally) after getting them off I was very unsatisfied. My front teeth protrude out of my mouth it looks horrible for having braces for 3years. I asked to speak to the orthodontist he back to tell me you should have got teeth abstracted. I replied saying I was NEVER told that in the 3years I've been coming. Had I known I would have done it. He said well I wasn't here before but we can go ahead and do that. So now I have to return to get my teeth abstracted and braces put back on. I asked for the earliest appointment to get this fixed because I have my sisters wedding and I don't want to be seen with my teeth like this. I feel I shouldn't have to pay for anything for this to be fixed. My treatment should have been shorter had the removed the teeth the first time. So now I have to do another year with braces. I also feel I should receive a refund. My time has been wasted as well as my money

On January 12, I had root canals on my lower anterior teeth at Risas Dental in Arizona
On January 12, I had root canals on my lower anterior teeth at Risas Dental in Arizona. I was unemployed and informed the clinic, which offered an affordable plan with no finance charges. They billed me $1746.00, requiring a $420.00 deposit and $110.50 monthly for a year, plus a 9.9% financing fee. I've paid $1083.00 so far. Upon review, I noticed a $419.00 charge for unperformed crowns. After raising this with the clinic, they promised to follow up but haven't yet.

I received my braces from Risas Dental and Braces located at *** about 3 years ago. The orthodontist at Risas that took off my braces said that I would only have to wear my retainer for 2 years and then I could stop wearing it. My bottom teeth started to shift and started going crooked while I was wearing my retainer for the 2 years so I brought it to the orthodontists attention when I had my follow up appointment. The orthodontists said it was nothing to worry about and just continue to wear my retainer for 2 years. I stopped wearing my retainer about 8 months ago since I had worn it for the 2 years the orthodontist at Risas said I must wear it for. Now my bottom teeth have almost shifted all the way back to there original position before braces. I went in to see the orthodontist at Risas this month to discuss my frustration and see what he could do for me. He said the orthodontist that did my braces and told me that I didn't have to wear my retainer after 2 years was no longer with Risas. He said that I was supposed to wear my retainer for life and made me feel like it was common knowledge (FYI not everyone goes to dental school). He offered to put braces on my bottom teeth again for $1500. I am upset, I have already used the $1500 that my dental insurance allows me for braces and paid another $1400 out of pocket for my first set of braces. To pay for another set of braces seems unfair to me. On the Risas website under pricing it says " If a patient is not completely satisfied with their treatment, we offer a 100% money back guarantee." Well I am definitely not satisfied, I would either like Risas to place another pair of braces on my bottom teeth free of charge or refund me and my dental insurance the money we paid so I can get braces somewhere else.

My son, who received braces treatment, had a payment issue at the dental clinic
My son received braces treatment at a dental clinic. I agreed to a payment plan of $100 monthly from my bank until insurance covered the costs, expecting reimbursement at the end. When treatment ended, I learned the clinic hadn't filed with insurance on time, leading to a denial. Despite discussions with a supervisor and a letter from the secondary insurance about the clinic's failure to claim, I've had no resolution. I've attempted to settle this independently but the clinic's reconsideration request was denied due to late filing. I am seeking full reimbursement of the funds withdrawn from my account.

From 3 to approx 8 I began receiving dental services at Risa's Dental
From 3 to approx 8 I began receiving dental services at Risa's Dental. They quoted me a price of $1980 for the work that was to be done. They told me that it could be made in payments if I paid a down payment of $100. I agreed. They did not complete the work after several visits of me attending and being there 3-4 hrs at a time, & several attempts to be scheduled again. In 6, I asked for a refund on the uncompleted work that I had paid for. I was told that a portion of the money I had paid on the uncompleted work could not be returned as it was "interest" on the payment plan. I informed the billing representative that the payment plan had 0 interest attached to it. She reported that it did, & told me the interest was ***% & that $100 was ***% of $1980. In no mathematical equation is that correct. I showed her the original document that said there was 0 interest charged. She insisted there was interest & said I had "prepaid" it & refused to return the "interest" fees.

I started my braces procedure 11
I started my braces procedure 11. The total was $3300. My insurance was supposed to pay $1500 and i pay the remaining $1800. In 11 i started working for another job and got a new insurance. I called my new insurance and inquired if they pay for braces treatment that are already started. My insurance informed me that they do. On 01 I advised Risas front desk of my insurance change and requested that my new insurance be billed. I asked them several times through out the year to bill my new insurance. Finally in 10 they told me that they billed it out. I called back in December and they advised that it was still pending. I called back in 01 and was informed that I had to call my insurance as to why it was denied. I called my insurance and they stated that they never received a claim. I called them back and they advised that they never billed out. Risas just advised me that they wrote of my balance/my account is inactive. And I can't have braces removed until I pay

My wife and I went to risas Dental because of the braces plan that they had
My wife and I went to risas Dental because of the braces plan that they had. Since day one things started to go bad, it started with some fillings for her cavities and they all fell out. The dentist always disregards it by saying that she must have been brushing her teeth too hard whenever we bring it up, and they always cancel the appointment to fix it anyways. But the main issue is the braces. After about a year and a half or two, her teeth were getting at the right position where they could attach the last few to the wire and finish the job, but he wanted to speed up the process and put in four springs. Well now because of covid-19 they are refusing to see us for another month or so. We told them that we have to be seen because at this point is causing a lot of nerve pain and her teeth are spreading out so much that there is a huge gap in her mouth. We tell him she can barely eat and is in a lot of pain and they still refuse to see us despite it being an emergency. Keep in mind we are under contract with them and we were trying to avoid breaking it. Finally we went to another Dentistry to examine it and they are telling us that what that doctor did cause a lot of her roots to Criss Cross and could cause jaw bone deterioration if not resolved. Now we have to start the whole process again with a new orthodontist meaning we are going to have to pay a whole new payment plan with a new orthodontist. We will never be returning to risas because they have little to no care during the operations that they do, and have little to no regard to the patient's well-being after the operation.

October 30,2019 I paid Risa's Dental office $3,530.00 as prepayment for dental work
October 30,2019 I paid Risa's Dental office $3,530.00 as prepayment for dental work. I had to pay that before they would start treatment. Treatment began, involving several appointments. I had some minor complaints, but not serious complaints until February . Dentist informed me that none of my upper teeth could be saved-all needed to be extracted. This was overwhelming to me! (dentures!). Doctor understood my unwillingness. I said I wanted to check into implants. He said go ahead. If you prefer to seek another alternative or dentist, we can refund your credit balance to you. Reality was that implants would cost $29,000.00! Felt I had no choice & accepted all uppers extracted. As difficult as that was, next I was informed that my only remaining two "real" teeth must be extracted. I pleaded root canal & crowns. I was told they could not be saved. Culmination of this & other issues made me seek alternative dentist. I found one who could save both of those teeth. (one of those teeth has already been successfully treated & crowned. NOW here is my very serious complaint is my credit balance at Risa's was $1,370.00. Dentist agreed I should get that amount refunded to me. We signed an agreement (which I can provide, That "!,370.00 would be deposited into my bank account in THREE to FIVE days" from date of signing (October 14) Two days later an assistant called me and said Corporate Office refused it. WTH! Contacting Corporate was a trial in itself. A person called RIGO flat out told me that NO that it wasn't their policy to refund to bank account. Only way they do refunds is by mailing a check (which takes 4-6 weeks. (Yet THEIR FORM for "Refund of Fees" has 4 CHOICES: Cash, Care Credit, Check(3-4 weeks), or credit Card (3-5 days) SEVEN weeks later I HAVE NOT received MY money *ComplaintsBoard.com please help me get my money. I had to get a LOAN from my bank to pay Risa's I am making monthly payments. As a retired senior I need money. Thank you.
