Tax exemption
Would give 0 if option. Called prior to auction to give tax exemption. After auction as well. For a pole barn no sides for cattle in this Texas Heat. Was told to pay without taxes. Then told to fill out form for purpose of use form told me don't worry you won't get tax exemption. Mind you 100 plus degrees and cattle need shade. Got tax exemption for my other shed covering. Was told you can put it in the form and we still won't authorize it. After Humble person on phone gives me a life story which has nothing to do with my purchase. Then hangs up 4 times. Plus a huge attitude and snoppy. Having me call corporate. Also Florida. Corporate said would call next day. To no avail. They got payment minus taxes. Plus not to mention I have to hire a locksmith to get into a item I bought. Which is gonna cost me. So take taxes off due to that and deceitful practice of not stating in listing not eligible for tax exemption. Plus to pay without and fill a form which they stated if i fill out they won't even bother. So this needs to be fixed let me pick up item cause it's gonna cost me the amount in taxes ro get lock replaced possible damage to structural door integrity. Let me pick up my item cause it's gonna cost me the taxes to get lock replaced after locksmith has to drill out dead bolt on a luxury bathroom shower building. Take taxes off cause I have to hire a locksmith to get into building. Going to have to replace the dead bolt and whole assembly. Plus was told to pay without tax and fill out form for tax exemption not listed on posting of item deceitful practice and rude customer service or ibcan send tou bill for locksmith and you can pay for that as well and all damages that may have been done to restroom. Honor the tax exemption as stated instead of having me fill out a form u say you won't honor and next time put on liatings if they are tax exempt or not and not wait til payment time to be deceitful and rude to customers and have to call corporate and my state of Texas Humble location and receiving a call from Florida as well. Shouldn't be this difficult to fix on your tax department to fix or ill send the locksmiths tab and you take that out the taxes and if over tax you can reimburse me the balance. Like for like for lock and install and the cost of the mobile locksmith.
Desired outcome: Take taxes off or pay the locksmith I choose to come out invoice.
Do not honor their contract
I signed to auction my equipment at 10% at a live auction. I found out later they weren't even licensed to hold auctions in Oklahoma. They offered to have me pay to ship all my equipment to Texas to get a live auction. Which is nuts. They then stated they would be licensed "next" month. Three months later they still weren't licensed. They finally offered to sell my stuff in online auctions at the agreed 10% and no additional fees. They charged more than 10% every time something sold, plus they added online sales fees. I have been trying for months to get a refund and I have heard nothing from them.
Additionally, their online auction is a joke. You are better off scrapping your stuff than selling online. Numerous items sold for $100 or less, which actually cost me money because they charged a $100 minimum commission and would not let me set a minimum sales price. Several buyers told me they simply put in their 'bid' as a placeholder so they would be aware of other bids only to 'win' the bid as the only bidder for $40, $60 or $100. (Used prices should have been $[protected]/item.)
Desired outcome: Refund of overcharges and waiver of minimum fees.
wood processur that I purchased in June 2021 from Dunnigan Calaifornia
I am buyer # 25676 and I bought lot number 262. This was advertised as a wood processor. When I got the item home and unfolded it, I found out that there was not a wood processor. There was no wood splitter or ram attached to the machine. The pictures looked like there was one. I called several times and talked to someone about it before the sale. I have called customer service. I have called and emailed both Gabriella Cano and Kasey Tatum. I feel like this item was fraudently sold and wrongly advertised as something that it is not. I financed it through Ritchie Brothers financing which I also feel that you obtained financing falsely because it is NOT a wood processor. I have called and emailed multiple times. I was able to reach Kasey Tatum one time and was told that she would call me back before the end of the day. She never called and now I just end up leaving messages with no return call. I tried to call and email her boss Gabriela Cano, also no return call.
Desired outcome: I want you to take the machine back and cancel my loan and reimburse me for my expenses of 1000 for transportation

Undisclosed damages on vehicle, unreasonable time limit for repairs and reimbursement
On Thursday 30 July 2020, I bid on and won a used 2016 Ram Promaster City Tradesman cargo van via the TruckPlanet auction website.
https://www.truckplanet.com/jsp/s/item/3720036?do=1
I picked it up on Tuesday 18 August 2020.
The same day that I picked up the van from its location, I observed the following problems:
1. check engine light: later determined by a Ram dealership to be caused by defective battery junction and melted battery cable, causes check engine light to turn on, not mentioned in auction company's inspection report text. I asked Jeff, who works for the company that previously owned the van., about this and the other damage.. He didn't know the reason why the light comes on and asked me to read the inspection report. There is no mention of the check engine light in the report. This requires an expensive repair, according to the dealership.
2. long crack and multiple chips in the windshield, NOT SHOWN IN PHOTO #16 which was taken from a distance, no mention in text (on the auction web page above).
3. misaligned headlights, low and high beam; both low and high beam headlights do not point straight ahead: left headlight points to the low left, right headlight point to the high right, no mention in text. Obviously, this makes it difficult to see other vehicles, deer, elk, or other objects directly ahead of the van while driving at night.
4. broken left side cargo door interior handle: left side cargo door won't open from inside because the interior handle is broken and not completely attached/dangling, no mention in text.
5. The LOCKED glove box cannot be unlocked with key, no mention in text (only broken latch was mentioned). This is an expensive repair, according to the dealership.
6. AC doesn't blow cold air, mentioned in inspection report, repaired by AC tech/supervisor at Jiffy Lube at my expense. (See attached receipt.)
7. Broken glove box latch, "The glove box latch is broken.", according to inspection report on their website.
8. front body damage, depicted in their inspection report photos.
9. broken left headlight, depicted in photos.
10. broken right side mirror, depicted in photos.
11. "The arm to hold the hood up is missing.", mentioned in text.
Problems during and after the entire auction and pickup process:
1. I placed my bid a few seconds before the "end time" of the auction. After the auction timer hit zero, the auction was extended by two minutes at least three times, i.e. 2x3 = at least 6 minutes total for other people to bid AFTER the supposed end of the auction. This raised my bid on the van from $8, 000 to $10, 000. I saw no mention of multiple 2-minute extensions on the website.
2. A $1, 000 "transaction fee" was added onto my winning bid of $10, 000. I paid them $11, 000 via bank wire transfer on 4 August 2020.
3. The auction listing at https://www.truckplanet.com/jsp/s/item/3720036?do=1 states that the van was located in Indianapolis, IN. I purposely avoided bidding on vans on the east coast because I reside on the west coast, i.e. too far to drive to pick up the van. After I paid for the van in full, I received an email instructing me to pick up the van from an address in Florida! (See Florida address in attached Item Release form.) I called and emailed multiple times regarding this discrepancy. Afterwards, I kept receiving confusing emails and phone calls stating that the van's location was in Indianapolis AND in Florida. It was several days before it was cleared up that the van really was located in Indianapolis. This delayed my departure to pick up the van.
4. Nobody explained to me that the van would have its license plates removed. (The van has Florida license plates, GQM C29, in the inspection photos.) Obviously, a van with no license plates could attract the attention of law enforcement, leading to traffic tickets, while driving over 2, 000 miles from Indianapolis to my residence on the west coast.
5. Two weeks after I picked up the van, I received an email stating that if I fail to pick up my van, it would be relocated at my expense.
6. 33 days after I won the auction, and 28 days after I paid in full, I still have not received the van's title, in order for me to properly register the van in my state, and put license plates on it. According to their website at the bottom of https://www.truckplanet.com/jsp/s/howto/howtoBuy.html?kwtag=Homepagebody&title=How+to+buy#online, "Unless otherwise noted, IronPlanet will send the title to you within 15 business days after the close of the auction. Your title/titling document will be forwarded via a delivery source that will allow you to track your package (Federal Express or some other service). Title inquiries should be sent to [protected]@ironplanet.com." Also, the aforementioned auction listing page contradicts this, "Title may not be available for up to 25 business days after auction." I previously called them at least twice in inquire about the title. I won this auction 33 days ago, still no title.
7. I later read on the web page regarding their "Iron Clad Assurance Policy" at https://www.ironplanet.com/pop/terms_page.jsp?id=6&__hstc=191183541.7a57cc730b5ba81ff2c7c1bcbdc9942f.1598984785776.1598984785776.1599003152171.2&__hssc=191183541.11.1599003152171&__hsfp=1125809050&_ga=2.267223050.56002590.1598984785-1162623971.1598984785, "Passage of Time - Eleven (11) business days after the date of the sale." Due to the confusion they created by telling me that that the van was located in Indiana and in Florida, I had to delay my departure to pick up the van. In addition, I spent $11, 000 to purchase this van, and spent even more money on travel expenses. I cannot afford to have all the damages repaired anytime soon, in order for them to reimburse me.
online bidding
Elton Magee . Magee consignments. Meadow lake Saskatchewan. [protected]
RB Auctions #[protected]/09/10 invoice [protected] buyer # 53544
Please look up my purchase of a 2011 GMC 2500 online.
the auction site was having problems with the online bidding process and had to shut the sale down to repair the issue.
The issue was not solved . I did an online bid in my bid window of 4000 . The auctioneer sold me the unit at 6000.
I went to the auction site in Edmonton and asked to view the bid sheet.
The bid sheet showed that the person I had bid against had bid him self up 4 times before I bid, which was horrifying to me because on my bid site I can not bid my self up because it tells me I am high bidder.my bid .08 of a second after his came in slow at 5000.because of the net problems RB Auctions was having. The site should have came back to me with my 4000 bid and said I was out bid and to rebid but it never.
The Auctioneer selling should have never raised the bid to 6000 as it showed to him in the bid sheet at 5000 not a 6000 bid.
The RB internet fellow said this issue should have never happened like this and was not right. He did contact the head department on my behalf and they would not make the proper adjustments.
Was very unhappy with the way I had been treated and paid for the unit reconsigned it back to the sale and had decided to never deal with RB auctions again.
The unit has since resold.
I am out my 2000 over priced bid, to which when I did see the bid sheet show it came in as 5000., plus my buyers fee which you RB auctions change me as a fee to guarantee they make sure this doesn't happen and that the online bidding was in top operational and functioning condition.
I had done a compromise with the internet gentle man who was very helpful even tho it took 5 hours to get the bid sheet.
He showed me that the bid had came in at 5000 not 4000 and was definitely not a 6000 bid.
The compromise was I would pay the 5000 it showed and the fee s.
When that was refuse I put the unit back in the sale and the fee was set at 10 percent plus fee s because RB Auctions had admitted they did have an issue.
I did attend the last RB Auctions in Edmonton but never spent a penny and refuse to until this issue is dealt with .
I believe it was your fault RB Auctions that this issue even happened. There were others having the same issue as me at the desk when I was there so its not like it was a random issue.
RB Auctions should step up the to plate . I have bent to agree to pay the 5000 on the bid sheet even tho I only bid 4000 . I believe RB Auctions should return to me the Doc admins fee s charged 2 times buying and selling, buying transaction fee and the selling fee of the unit plus the 1000 RB Auctions have over charged me.

being cheated on flatbed trailer
July 17 2019 on your on line auction in Lake Worth Tx. I enlisted your proxy service to buy a trailer to fit my specific needs. On the specifications it clearly stated 102" wide and 40' in length, exactly what I needed. I told the proxy guy that my high bid would be $3500. I was led to believe that it would go up in bids to that point. I'm not sure even that happened but I got the bid. I had to wait almost three weeks to get a title and then could not find any vin numbers of any kind to identify the trailer and that's very problematic when you buy something in texas and want to license it in Co. So I called the auction site and they said the forgot to order the data plate and would rush it to me. How did they verify the title to trailer to begin with and how do you just make up a data plate? I hadn't seen the trailer since I spent 23 hr. going to get it and was parked in the lot . I thought it didn't look quite right so I measured it and it was only 91" wide. I again called the auction house and talked to a guy named Daniel and asked him to verify that the specifications stated 102" wide or had I made a mistake. He said I made no mistake and that it did indeed state 102". I said that it was falsely advertised and he said after talking to someone that it is only a guide line and everybody knows that. He then said that I could take it to the Denver auction and sell it and I would get a commission. I said now that it is correctly advertised it probably would not sell and it was worth only $2000, and that translates to about a $2000 loss and still end up with a trailer I can't haul hay with. He said that's it and I asked him if I need to get a lawyer and he said get one. I understand about Texas mentality but this was extreme and arrogant even for them. 23 hr. of driving, $346 in fuel for a trailer far from the specifications advertised and no identifiable anything for the state patrol to look at or for. I'm sure some or most of this could make for good reading for the Ft. Worth DA cause it's got to be criminal or should be. How many other people have been cheated on this on line scam. Who was the no. 2 bidder if there was one. On line all you have to go on is specifications.
failure to safeguard items, they allowed them to get wet for a week
I purchased a few lots at their Houston Auction online on June 18th 2019, amongst the items were 6 pallets of electrical power tools loosely packed, when we paid the invoices and visited the site to arrange packing up the goods we discovered that the pallets of Electrical tools had been left in the open Yard for the whole week without any cover provided.
These items were purchased online and there is no way that the buyer could be aware that they are out in the opoen or even so that they will be left in the open after the auction.
As far as I am concerned they are responsible to take due care and attention while the goods are in their possession until I take title.
The phrase " As is Where is" does not cover negligence on their part.
The Value of the items in question is $ 2, 000.00
The yard manager is gave me an email that there was no room under cover !

2007 school bus 30 passenger
On January 14, 2019 I called Ritchie Bros to add my 2007 Freighliner 30 passenger bus to their auction on, I talked to salesman Matt Backsdale send pictures and signed a contract under my name. A week later called again and he transfer me to territory manager Connor Mullarney because I want to sell the bus by myself because maybe it will not get enough money that I invested on the bus. He told me I cannot get out of the contract that I can not do that to him, after a few words discussing the matter he got very upset with me and told me that I already signed a contract, them I asked him what is the approximate amount these bus get sold for and he told me around $12000. and $15000. and I said ok because I invest a lot of money in the bus and I can not afford to lose more and they guarantee to be sold and I have to bring and sign the tittle before the auction date and bring the bus 15 days before the action started, we took the bus to the action around the first days of February, and paid $575.00 for delivery of the bus because was a problem with one of the belts and they told me they will fix it and discount the fee for labor from final amount. the tittle was in my wife name and she signed but the person in the office told me I need to fill out another contract with my wife name to call Mr Connor Mullarney to send me another form, call him a few times no respond from him, finally after a week maybe he send the new contract for my wife to sign.
On February 22 the bus was sold for only $4,000.00 I can not believe the unprofessional of these personnel they way they work, not effort at all to get close of what I was suppose to get for the bus, this caused to me for losing a lot of money and the stress on my health. If they knew these bet started so low they should it let me to cancel the contract from the beginning when I explained how much I spend on that bus because I had enough time before the auction, for the contrary he told it was not possible to cancel I suppose because his commission and his personal interest were jeopardize. I'm very upset with they service and lies to ripoff people.
I'm requesting the rest of the money I invested the bus which is $13, 000.00 and never hear from them in the matter.
If I do not hear from them I'm willing to go further with my rights to stop this business bad service.
won auction but never got items
I buy a lot of items on online auctions and equipment one I followed all the rules and regulations won 2 auctions and never got invoiced or called or emailed. I call in and find out that the items I won where not going to be sold to me because of an undisclosed issue! I don't understand this. I had to read page after page of rules, do this cant do this deadline rules removal rules payment rules. But when the seller is not following the rules nothing happens! I spent hours watching, bidding on the items and trying to pay for them but nothing (for 2 weeks). I finally got a hold of a manager and was pretty much told to bad so sad and hung up on. I at that time decided that I was done with them and I had a few auctions still pending on winning and I but I did not follow through with paying for them . Now they banned me from the site. No problem don't like doing business with companies like this but they keep sending me emails on future auctions and where are you emails, after they banned me. I would say that they must run their company like the government runs things. Only worried about themselves!
Buyer beware is all I can say . And we wonder why the world is in the shape it is!
