However, I have found a solution to this problem. If you are planning to order from Rivers, I suggest that you have your item delivered to a business address using the business name. This way, the address will exist in their system, and they will not have any issues with delivery.

So, I wanted to buy a robot vacuum from Rivers, but it turned out to be a nightmare. Firstly, I didn't receive any dispatch notification or tracking, so I tried to contact them. But all I got were automated responses saying they will contact me within 24-48 hours. I waited, but no contact. I followed up again, but still no contact. I even tried to reach them on Facebook, but no response. Finally, after zero contact to any of my attempts, the order arrived. But guess what? They sent me the wrong product!
Now, you might think that it should be simple to get it sorted out, right? But not with Rivers. Most companies would send you a return label, but not them. I emailed them, including photos of the robot vacuum I ordered, and the incorrect one they sent me, along with a photo from their site showing they'd sent a cheaper advertised product. But still, nothing. I even commented on Facebook, but all they said was to pm them.
I was getting frustrated, so I put in a PayPal claim, but they still didn't respond to that. So, I decided to persist on the phone. But after waiting on hold and being cut off on multiple occasions, I finally got through to someone. They told me they would send me a link to fill out, which I did. But, surprise surprise, no response from Rivers. I called again, and they asked for a photo of the barcode, which I sent. But still, no response from Rivers. I called again, and they still hadn't authorised the return!
Honestly, Rivers is a nightmare! I am about to contact the ACCC, and hopefully between them and PayPal, I can get it sorted out. Because Rivers clearly have no intention of fixing anything! I even have photos of the white pet vac I ordered and the black standard model they sent, which was advertised cheaper but also has very poor reviews.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Rivers to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, and they don't seem to care about their customers at all. So, if you're thinking of buying something from them, think again.
