My recent two shopping experiences at Rivoli were both disappointing.
First, I visited the Rivoli store in Rigga to purchase a Tissot watch. Unfortunately, the specific model I desired was unavailable. The salesperson assured me that he would request it from another branch and contact me within two days. However, despite waiting for two weeks, I still haven’t received a call. I eventually found the watch at the Tissot kiosk in DCC.
Second, I spotted a Rado watch on a promo online their website. Owing to a referral form a Tissot staff member, a salesperson at the Rado DFC branch confirmed that they could order it and contact me once it arrived in the store. A few days later, he informed me that the watch was already available in the store. However, when I was already near Dubai Festival Centre, he called to say that he still hadn’t received the watch. He promised that once he got hold of it, he would take it to my place along with a card machine. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I decided to purchase the watch online. To my dismay, despite the Rivoli website stating a delivery time of 2-3 days, I still haven’t received the watch even after a week of waiting.
It appears your encounters with Rivoli so far has been disheartening starting from absence of follow ups to lack of services. I believe you must reach out to their customer service and explain how both scenarios unfolded in full detail especially the promises and timelines given which were not met. Ask them to explain why the wrist watch wasn’t sent when they told you it would be and what compensation will be given or what faster means will be put in place. If the order still does not get resolved, you can check other sellers to have a hassle free shopping experience.
