Roku Been charged for devices and not able to use them

I was charged 35.69 for Roku/ Hulu and I'm not able to use my Hulu also charged for Roku/ warnermedia don't know what that is so I call customer service today the man ask what he could help me with I tell him he puts me on hold for 15 minutes and never comes back to the phone I need what I paid for so please give me a call or email [protected]@gmail.com

Roku YouTubeTV

We purchased a total of 7 Roku tvs for our large home. We live on a ridge where cable isn't offered. We have YouTubeTv for not only our cable but to watch local news and weather. We are aware of the ongoing dispute between Roku and Google regarding YouTubeTV, and we feel that we as a consumer have been caught in the crosshairs where we have paid BOTH OF YOU for services yet have no access to it. We would not have purchased the 7 Roku tvs had we known that a turf war would affect our ability to watch our local news and the cable programing that we pay 65 a month for. Extremely upset and if its not sorted out this week, we will drop BOTH Google and Roku. I would rather give the tvs away to a needy family and buy a product that affords me the freedom to access what i like and what i pay for. To wake up today and not have access to what we've paid for is unprofessional and intolerable at the core.

Roku ROKU Soundbar

Purchased ROKU Soundbar in 2020. In Sept. 2021 the sound began to echo everything. Thought it was SmartTV so changed it, same problem. Removed soundbar and TV fine. Checked ROKU website and found 6 pages of others with the same problem AND NO HELP FROM ROKU. will look for another way to remain cable free. Shame on you ROKU. Pati Glau, Newport, OR

Roku inability to get support

I have put a great deal of effort to get information, or resolve a unknown charge on my account. Website support will not advance more than two questions and only offers option of back button. Have sent a previous complaint that was returned with no help offered just an automatic response. The charge listed on my credit card is "The Roku Channel 8162728107DE amount is $6.38. I did not authorize this charge. I have already gone through steps to dispute charge on my credit card, and have removed the card from my account. I read your policy on never giving refunds because service isn't high on the priorities of Roku. Why is it near impossible to resolve problems with Roku without leaving the Roku website in order to file a complaint. Is the poor effort at service intended due to all the fraud that appears regularly on many of the posted complaints about Roku. Does anybody respond to these complaints or make any effort to resolve issues or is this a waste of my time!

Desired outcome: Correct the charge on my account. Change or correct website that doesn't offer service to contact support.

Roku Brit Box and RLJ Entertainment

I cannot access neither Acorn (never have been able to although the system took my credit card) nor can I access Britbox as of the middle of June. I have attempted to contact both Acorn and Britbox. Acorn, of course, deferred to Roku. Britbox stated the account was closed.

I am being invoiced on my credit card which I am refusing to pay. The system for both sites allow me to enter information (obviously since you are billing my credit card) but then both systems keep taking me back to enter information once again.

I am tired of messing with this and tired of charges for something I cannot access.

Please delete both accounts and STOP billing me.

Roku Unauthorized charges

This morning when checking my bank account once again I found you, "ROKU" took funds from my account through Pay-Pal without my consent or knowledge. I'm not sure why this is being done. This is the second time you have taken funds from my bank account. I have never requested or signed up for any additional "streaming channels" other than Curiosity Stream and BritBox.
Further, I never received notice mentioning I was being billed for services in the future. It just happened. Should you have issued a statement indicating the removal of funds from my bank account and it went to my spam box, I didn't see it since like most people, I don't look there for messages.
At the age approaching 80 years I do not understanding most of the new technology and being on a very limited and fixed income I cannot afford any added monthly costs.
Please refund the $12.03 you deducted from my account.

Roku Roku

Been trying to get you people to cancel but you refuse. This is the 4th month you have taken money after I keep telling you to cancel.. Cant do it through the tv it doesn't work. Nobody understands english. You keep wanting me to pay to talk to someone else, so you can get another charge account number so you can steal again. You say refundable if so why do in the 1st place? I do not want this and my letter to the better business bureau will let them know I have requested 4 times now (4 months) that you have taken or rather stolen money from me. This company is a scam to take money even when told to stop, next will be to close the bank account and see how you will steal then.

Roku Picture and sound - out of synch/ warbling most of the time: consistentently.

Picture, sound, voices out of synch. Sound is scratchy/ warbling. Been like this for years and years. Please repair/correct-once and for all.! Omg! Help! We pay good $ money for garbage service. Pitiful and sad. Find some honorable work! These companies / people do not care#!#!#! P.O. S.'s. 😡

Roku 4030 River Walk Dr.

The Roku stick has quit showing or interment showing Roku programs. For 2 weeks I have been trading emails with customer support with no results in fixing the problem I have 2 sticks and they both have the same problem. I sent all the info as far as serial numbers etc. The send emails asking me to try different things. Some of their request as beyond me as I am 67 and not very tech savy. Why cant something be reset at Roku Central. This is had to believe I can get everything else streamed on the net but the Roku Channels and its a Roku stick. Mark me as very unhappy customer. I suggested if they cannot fix it then send me 2 new sticks. I am not getting what I paid for and the customer service is no good.

Roku Roku TV

I subscribe to Rumble on a Roku television. I can get updated Rumble videos on my computer and phone, however my Roku TV stopped allowing updated video's after June 1st. I don't know if its Roku itself or a disgruntled employee!
This needs to STOP IMMEDIATELY!
Find out which one it is! I will not be censored by my television or some sort of INSANE EMPLOYEE who thinks they have a right to dictate to me what I watch!

Desired outcome: I want RUMBLE to be allowed to update on my ROKU TELEVISION

Roku Roku steaming stick

I have spent so much time, trying to get this worked out. There is no help or proper videos. A person is non-existent. I moved my Tv from one side of my room to the other. I carefully disconnected all attachments. Including roku streaming stick. when replaced, only the streaming stick was having issues. iI followed all videos Ii could find. Cut power, changed batteries, reset button on device.. Nothing. he ROKU
The screen shows the Roku logo, then after a few seconds blanks out. Then comes on again. The blanks out. Remote has no control on settings and they do not even appear.
I reset my internet and all other products work, but roku remains off line. I tried to get into settings on my computer. cannot even find them. The videos only say to go to settings, when quiz about how. no such vided appears.

I have three roku devices, the other two are working, but I have not moved them.
Truly poor customer service to sell and disappear.

Desired outcome: get this fixed, or i go elsewhere. Wasting too much time on a simple device.

Roku Charged extra

I recently received an email advising that I had somehow purchased an additional channel. It had to do with some kind of "free trial offer". I objected and asked for the charges to be reversed. $16.99 recurring charge each month.

My appeal, which has been blown off, was the following:

"It is tantamount to graft and deceit to have as a default, the automatic charge without first requiring a password or similar acknowledgment.

 Default should be a required password on any initial charge.  You have it backwards so as to capture revenue from people who are caught unaware by your so called free trials.

I did not use this service. I didn't want it.  And if I pushed a button, accepting a trial service, your sham worked I guess. - at least so far.

You should be ashamed at this tactic.

However, I will not pay this charge.  I will initiate a fraud challenge through my credit card company if you do not reverse the charge.

And I want to be assured by you, in response to this text  that I have NO ADDITIONAL RECURRING ROKU CHARGES STILL IN PLACE.

I must add that your very slow response to my communication about this matter is reprehensible.

Just reverse this charge.  Do the right thing."

Desired outcome: Reverse this charge. Assure me that there is no recurring charge still standing. AND CHANGE THIS POLICY AS SUGGESTED

Roku Subscription Services

Please Buyer Beware of Roku. Roku has made unauthorized charges from my checking account and has been unwilling and acting in bad faith to credit my account. I have filed dispute and fraud activity with my savings institution and deactivated my card in attempt to keep Roku for further misuse of my funds. Unfortunately, I will no longer buy Roku branded items. I currently own three Roku devices. Roku showed no desire to assist me in recovering my funds and I will remember that the next time I open my wallet to buy streaming devices.

Roku Blocking FOX News!

I own three Roku TV's. I have been having issues trying to open Fox News and it has come to my attention that this is intentional on the part of RoKU.

Simply stated, return my Fox News or I will go out an buy three competitive streaming options and never use Roku again. Period!

Are you kidding me. Who is going to write a 350 word complaint! This is simply an attempt to limit complaints!

Desired outcome: Make Fox News available!

Same complaint here! I subscribe to Rumble and after June 1st they or some disgruntled employee are not allowing any new video's to be shown. All right wing videos are being banned on ROKU television via Rumble. I can watch updated video's on Rumble via my computer or phone but not my ROKU television. This is completely insane censorship! I will blast and tell everyone how bad ROKU is and to BOYCOTT ROKU FOREVER!

Your channel has a movie called Cheech & Chong "The Corsican Brothers"

This movie has NO AUDIO TRACK . While I realize I can use the closed caption,

I find it hard to believe your viewers would like this version .

This movie has been available for over a month and during this time

it has NO AUDIO TRACK . I would really enjoy viewing this movie However

with no SOUND it is next to impossible Please address this problem at

you earliest convenience

Roku Westinghouse#e 50" tv

I have a hacker on my tv, my child is been traumatized now 7 time this week an over 45 times in last month actions from turning off the game he plays, to turning off the tv set, after I reset the ssid and password from centurylink it only takes a week before hacker is at it again, the fix would be a way to encrypt or delete the network ssid simply on settings, westinghouse cant do a thing its all roku.! An to add ethernet cable won't work due to centurylink. Already tried the tv will run all online channels like youtube etc. Without a wired connection so these tvs are easy to hack an malware is not removable

Roku Customer support

I have tried to cancel this service several times, but when I try to sign in to my account, I get an error message, "either the email of the password is incorrect". So, when I try to reset the password, I receive the message, "if this is a valid email address a 24 hour password reset code will be sent".
That code never arrives. There is no telephone support and the online support cannot be accessed without signing in to the account, which is impossible!

This crap company continues to try to charge my cc every month, even after I have placed a block on their attempts. This has gone on for months now!

Avoid these clowns/crooks.

I suggest reporting the credit card as lost or stolen. The credit union or bank will issue a new credit card and ROKU idiots can't charge your card. I have had a lot of problems with ROKU and will NEVER go back to them for anything!
