RR Auction Autographs
I know that RR Auction is a rather reliable auction house and that they have been around for years and actually have the necessary experience to deal with memorabilia. The items that customers consign to them are now a bit more expensive than they used to be, which is strange. I’m not an expert but if they would lower the numbers on the price tags, things might go a lot better for them.
More live events!!!
There was a time when RR Auction would hold live events each month, especially for more important auctions. However, they have lately neglected this and it’s quite annoying for those of us who are not comfortable to bid online. This month they had a Music and Entertainment auction and I bid on a Miles Davis signed poster but by the time the auction was over someone else outbid me and I had no idea! I really don’t appreciate missing opportunities and that’s why RR Auction should invest in some live events!

Does anybody have any updates on the RR Auction lawsuit? Do any of you guys know whether or not they were found guilty of all those allegations? Ever since I first heard about this trial I thought to myself that if they are found guilty, I should also get the items that I got from them to be authenticated by a third party. The thing is that I’ve always trusted them and am actually happy with all the items that I’ve purchased from them. I honestly doubt the lawsuit will end badly for them.

I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about this auction house and it seems to me that there are some gross exaggerations going on. I mean, I’ve been browsing their online catalogues and bidding on their items for a very long time and I’ve never had an issue with them. It is true that their employees get swamped around the end of an auction and that they are less responsive and available during that time but that does not mean that they are not professionals and that they are unable to do their jobs. I never leave things to the last minute and I make sure to call and ask everything I need to know the minute they launch the online catalogue. The guys there are always helpful and do their best to keep the customers satisfied.

I’ve been working with RR Auction for quite a while now and it has always bothered me that they are never responsive enough. Whenever I call them with an issue or a question I need answered, I have to wait for ages until someone finds the time to talk to me. And don’t even get me started with their emails, because I don’t think that there’s anyone in charge with it. They simply check it once a week and that’s that! Now I kind of got used to the way they work and always ask anything I need to ask beforehand. It doesn’t bother me as much, especially since their employees are not at all incompetent. I mean, those guys really know what they are doing and always have their facts straight. It’s just that they don’t stick around the phone and rarely reply to emails.
RR Auction staff needs more training
I have been working with RR Auction for a couple of years now, but I only recently started to have some issues with their employees. As far as their work goes I have no doubt that they are professionals. I mean, from this point of view I’ve never had any issues with them, they were always able to help me out and answer all of the questions I had about certain items. However, I do believe that they should get some customer service trainings from time to time! They need to be reminded that being rude to customers is bad for business. Being polite goes a long way, at least with me and I was honestly disappointed when I did not receive the service that I was expecting.
Complaint
You guys think that RR Auction is bad? You should see what’s going on with other auction houses in the country! Up until I worked with them, I’ve had a lot, and I mean A LOT of unpleasant experiences with companies in the field. At some point I was even yelled at over the phone for having the audacity to call and ask a few details about some collectibles.
Anyways, that’s not the point. The point is that RR Auction has its best interest in mind and at least treats its clients as human beings. I appreciate that I can always call and ask as many questions as I want, until every single detail is clear to me. Of course, there have been some cases when the person whom I was talking to on the phone didn’t have all the answers, but I was always called back and enlightened.
I have a great relationship with RR Auction and I can’t say that I’m mad that everyone is so pissed at them, because that means I have less competition in auctions!
Intimidation and Poor Business Ethics
Two large men visited my shop a few years back and they claimed they represented RR Auctions in New Hampshire. They "Recommended" that I "Consign"the two two Benjamin Franklin signed, framed letters that I had in my shop, with RR Auctions. This was the first that I ever heard of RR and my shop is just over the line in Vermont. This was very bizarre and I suspect the two large men were their to "Impress" me. I did not call the cops because these men did not break any laws.
Now I hear RR allegedly sold fakes to their customers and has been hit with a "CLASS ACTION SUIT" . RR AUCTIONS is a strange company and all the stuff on the Internet leads me to believe the owner is a quite the oddball .
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
