I registered for two of the Sally Jean workshops offered in Chicago during September 2010 and paid a total of $330. The classes were cancelled by the instructor (Sally Jean) due to a "family emergency" and I have not received a refund. I have repeatedly been trying to contact Sally Jean through email and PayPal but she is not responding. I finally resorted to filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I am like a dog with a done on this... I will NOT stop until this woman gives me my money back. If I am not successful with the BBB, I am considering contacting an attorney. I am not surprised to see all of the other complaints regarding Sally Jean registered here at complaintsboard.com.
Sally Jean Alexander's business practices are nothing but corrupt!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Good luck! I'm cheering for you. - another ripped off customer
Dyana... I'm sorry this happened to you too. She got more than $8000. From a class then cancelled. Again, another "family emergency". I never got my money back either. After doing some digging, I found out this is a common occurrence with her. She has scammed hundreds of people. PayPal closed her account, but a family member opened another account for her. That one was also closed. What a ### this woman is! It's one thing to cancel a class, or not ship a paid for item, but sheesh... At least give us our money back! I hope karma finds it's way to her...
I can relate to all those who have complaints against Sally Jean as I have been in the same position one time or another when I have been ripped off but not by Sally Jean. I have shopped with Sally Jean and live in Australia with no complaints. It is also well documented that Sally Jean suffers from episodes of deep depression and please consider that people who suffer from depression don't always make the best decisions and I hope you all receive a refund which you are all entitled to.
I was also ripped off by Sally Jean or as she says her ex husband. I ordered some jewelry and never received it. She promised a refund Nothing. Artists like this give us all a bad rep
I, too, was "ripped off" by Sally Jean Alexander. I graduated from college in August of 2010 and purchased a silver bracelet with 3 charms from her web site well over $200 and I never received the jewelry. She just fell of the face of the earth around that time. I think she moved to the east coast on an island somewhere? I don't know, but it's very sad that someone so talented and gifted has made the decision to scam people.
