In February 2024, this fraudulent organization had a car advertised on their flashy website. We asked if it's available. They said yes. We asked for an invoice. They sent one. We promptly sent the money, a huge amount in US dollars.

Oops, they said, the car is not available anymore. And the other 5 are also not available, although still listed on the website.

Would you like this car instead, they asked. We looked at the car that is worth half the price and said "no thank you, refund please".

It is not MID-JULY 2024 and all we've received from "sanuki" manager "Allen" (all fake names) are excuses:

- the transfer "jumped"

- an account number is missing

- it's bank's fault, not ours!

- if police comes, we're not guilty, it's the bank

- congratulations, we offer you a 16% lower refund amount, would you accept it? (we said yes, but doesn't matter, no money still)

On and on and on. Tons and tons of "creative" demonic excuses of slimy, lying fraudsters.

By the way, the value of the Japanese yen has decreased 10% since February! How convenient, just sit on the money, then cry that it's currency devaluation, keep 10-20% of the value and then return the rest!

It's probably not even a car exporter, but a financial scam organization.

STEER CLEAR!

We're hiring an aggressive lawyer to rip them a 2nd a-hole.

That's what the police had recommended. There is not a file on Sanuki with both Tokyo and Ibaraki police, we've ensured it.

Keep holding the money, demons. See what happens. F_ck around and you'll find out!

Claimed loss: 20 000

Desired outcome: refund

Sanuki has now blocked me on Facebook and has gone full incommunicado on WhatsApp, ignoring all messages.

I am however making significant progress in successfully reaching out to Sanuki's network contacts in Japan, such as this regional manager who promised to assist.

On the social media front, I kindly request everyone on this forum, who is willing to assist in expediting the return of US$14,500 to my elderly father, to post a message of support on Sanuki's social media. Your moral support is greatly appreciated, friends!

Update: Sanuki just advised us that the second attempt to transfer the money to us in Canada has failed due to incorrect banking information. See, the Royal Bank of Canada (number one bank in Canada) is providing bad information!

How do you like them apples?

Now they are refusing to even communicate with us. Attached is the proof of the aforementioned transaction.

Sanuki Corporation, falsely presenting itself as a Japanese car reseller, is a Sri Lankan-operated entity suspected of engaging in fraudulent bait-and-switch tactics. After fraudulently advertising a vehicle and issuing an invoice, the organization failed to deliver the promised car or issue a refund upon receipt of US$14,500.

Not yet. We gave them a different US$ bank account as they had been claiming the other one did not work ("the bank refused to accept the transfer"). We're now waiting to see what happens. Keep in touch.
