SaveTheDeals Savethedeals

I purchased something online and then savethedeals.com came out saying that i could get 35$ refund from the items i just purchased. I clicked and they asked for credit card details and the CCV numbers at the back of my card. As I was tempted to get the refund, I gave the details and a few minutes later €33 was deducted from my credit card. It was describe as Wr-info.com singapore. The equivalent amount of SGD51.67 was charged to me. This is a scam!

Claimed loss: SGD51.67

Desired outcome: To get a full refund

SaveTheDeals Made me think I was getting a refund but charged me $52 instead

I purchased something online and then savethedeals.com came out saying that i could get 35$ refund from the items i just purchased. I was stupid and filled in all my credit card details and a few seconds later I got charged $52. It was described as Jericho-info.com Lisbon. I quickly contacted my bank and informed them that I was scammed. They sent me a new credit card. Avoid at all costs! This is a scam website.

Claimed loss: $52

Desired outcome: I want to get my money back. I did not agree to the purchase.

SaveTheDeals They lie and charge my credit card

I purchased something online and then savethedeals.com came out saying that i could get 35$ refund from the items i just purchased. I clicked and they asked for credit card details. I was so in a rush that i didn’t even think carefully, it asked for the 3 numbers behind too. I was like why do they need the 3 numbers if they wanna refund? Do they really need it? I was hesitate but tempted to get the refund. I was so silly i gave the details and a few minutes later 33$ was deducted from my credit card. It was describe as Wr-info.com singapore. Scammer from singapore I guess!? Scammer whoever you are, you will get you karma. I gotta change my credit card to avoid any transaction in the future.

SaveTheDeals unauthorised withdrawals from credit card

I booked European accommodation via Amoma.com. SaveTheDeals popped up after I completed my booking but I did not subscribe to this nor do anything else. Accommodation was booked May 1st 2017. 3 days later, I saw an entry on my credit card dated May 4, 2017 from Eviano.Net deducting $35.26 from my personal credit card. I contacted my bank, ANZ, and outlined what occurred. I checked my Spam emails and found generic email from SaveTheDeals.com - instantly I unsubscribed as outlined in the email. Re-contacted my bank, ANZ, and they refunded $35.26 on June 1, 2017. Another unauthorised amount of $AUD35.90 came out of my credit card from Eviano.Net. Therefore June 14, 2017 I emailed to [protected]@savethedeals.com, and
[protected]@savethedealsau.desk-mail.com demanding this company to not deduct any monthly fee as I had not authorised such. Again contacted our Bank, ANZ, and explained situation. ANZ credited $35.90 back to my bank a/c. SaveTheDeals.com have never responded to emails. Checked SCAMS on Google & found many people have emailed www.complaintsboard.com with this Fraud.

SaveTheDeals illegal charges on credit card

I paid $1 for a $35-00 voucher but I never used it on 27th March I was charged $35-94 on my credit card.
On the 9th July I was charged another $35-94 on my credit card which I never responded to the email
I request a credit of $71-88

SaveTheDeals money stolen out of my credit card every month without my permission

I have noticed that 34.90 has been coming out of my creditcard every month.I did not give them permission to do this. It is an absolutel scam. In a competition I probably ticked a box somewhere and I know that at one stage I trialled a hair loss programme and I think it was 34.90 and they have been charging me every month since. I will be going to consumer affairs about this if I do not get some response and my money back. I can show proof on my nab statements if needed

SaveTheDeals Fraudulent charges

I never used or heard about the website www.Savethedeals.com. I noticed two unauthorized charges from this website. I went to the website and tried to reach these jerks, but no one replied to my emails. I have no idea what the hell happened. I tried to return money back, but no one replied to my emails. I cancelled my card afterwards, ‘coz I was afraid of the further charges. I wonder if there are people, who had the same thing. Maybe you can advise me how to stop these charges. Please post your ideas and comments. Thanks.

I was scammed by www.savethedeals.com and was robbed of $35 and in order to prevent further scamming by them I had to replace my debit card. This company and business is a scam. I have emailed repeatedly to politely ask for my money back and they are conveniently ignoring me. I want others to be aware that they are a TOTAL SCAM.

SaveTheDeals I can't reach these jerks and they took too much from me

I haven’t heard about the website www.savethedeals.com Spain before. As well as I never used their services, but these ### started to take money from me. They took small fee from me at the beginning; therefore I haven’t noticed it before. But later they started to take large sums. I tried to reach them, but nothing. No one replied to my phone calls and emails as well. Please help me to find these scammers.

You should dispute by your bank about it take action because this ### you can get contacted number just by email only but not response they say get touch by five days nothing happened .

Yes, I have an unauthorised debit being made against my bank account by "savethedeals.com Spain" of AU$34.90 currently occurring on the 16th of every month since July, 2014. I could cancel my credit card to stop it right now, but I am more interested in finding out just how easy or difficult it is to simply cancel the subscription.

The bank statement entry has beside it "savethedeal.com Spain". My enquiries reveal that the company is possibly Indian based, while the e-commerce software is owned by Eviano Digital registered in Barcelona. The banking transactions are obviously processed through Spain, probably Barcelona.

It appears that Save The Deals operate through an e-commerce plug-in, add-on style of software which online commercial discount shopping websites use. The problem is the disreputable way Save The Deals gets your subscription in the first place. OZ Bargains in Australia, ran an offer which cost a $1.00 one-off fee. To accept the offer you had to key in your banking details and pay the $1.00 to OZ Bargains - no mention it was being paid to Save The Deals, if that is where it went. It appeared to be an offer by OZ Bargains, Apparently, I have since discovered, the bottom corner of the offer panel, had a little tick box with a pre-set default tick in the acceptance box for a subscription - not sure what to, but possibly Save The Deals.

As we cannot prove in a Court of Law that we did not tick the box, that perhaps places them beyond the arm of the law ... or does it
I wonder, because have we in essence authorised the debit in the amount of AU$34.90 per month or only a one-off debit of $1.00? Good question. Were terms and conditions accessible at the point of subscription? I honestly can't recall.

However, what comes next may not place them beyond the law. I have never received any email follow up from the company, no Order confirmation, no subscription confirmation, no newsletter follow up, no emails on available discounts, no advice as to how it works, no website address provided, no list of participating retailers provided, no advice as to how to redeem discounts using the subscription, in fact absolute silence. Zero communication, to the extent that I was unaware I had even subscribed and completely forgot about the $1.00 deal thing. It seems the company is intent on not alerting customers to their subscription, so that the debits may continue with no service being provided in return.

To obtain any benefit from the subscription, had I wished to, I needed to first notice the debits and the notation beside them and then go searching for "savethedeals.com/Spain", which is what I did, only to find there is no such animal, but Googling "savethedeals.com" produced more information and a website - internationally based - including a whole list of complaints against the company alleging scams. The server for the website accessed by Australians appears to be in Singapore. It seems the

So what does the $34.90/month actually entitle you to? Apparently you can redeem a discount on purchases made in your daily routine - could be something like a cab hire fee if paid on a Cabcharge account. It is difficult to find the regional website you are registered with or to understand what you have subscribed to and then establish the process and what is required and then find the page where you process your redemption. The procedure is to scan in the receipt and then submit it to Save The Deals to redeem your discount. The discount, (usually 10%) is to be paid AFTER 30 days, so that STD always gets your next month's subscription fee before you get your last month's discounts. The internet is flooded with complaints that the discount redemptions are not being paid, but I cannot provide a first hand account, as I have never attempted to obtain one.

I used the contact details I found on the website and emailed savethedeals.com three time requesting a cancellation of my subscription. They have failed to respond at all. I have now written to OZ Bargains, just in case it was through them that I inadvertently subscribed, as I honestly am not sure how I obtained the subscription and this is another area that I feel must be addressed by legislation. I am waiting for a response now from OZ Bargains.

My bank alerted me describing it as an "unauthorised transaction" because my credit card "had not been presented".

Legislation is lame and weak. It should be designed to more than offer recourse but to also deter and prevent more strongly this kind of online activity. Surely the pre-set default ticks in selection boxes could be found to be illegal and unlawful?

SaveTheDeals I didn't get my coupon

I tried to buy McDonalds offer from the website www.savethedeals.sg. I placed the price and won it, but they didn’t deliver this coupon to me. They promised to send it to my email address, but I didn’t get it. I waited couple of hours, but nothing. I tried to call them, but phone was busy. There is no another way how to reach them. The worst company ever, so avoid these ### and post comments about your experience with them.

Got scammed of €33.93 when I was told that I'd only be paying S$1 for the offer.

I've reported the scam to the police here in Singapore, but I'm not sure if they can do anything as it seems like SaveTheDeals is not operating from Singapore.

what a load of ? i couldn't get the original deal, they then took a further $35 out of my account -i wrote them a email, got back a reply saying they would credit -1 of the amounts -i had unsubscribed and then the next day knowing i had ceased member ship they took out another $35.

there 0800 new zealand is a further scam -u get a automatic reply thatt keeps repeating them selves -there's nobody EVER there

i have Hired serious people to track down these fraudsters

i think a lot of these people are not reading the terms of this deal, some say that they cannot stop their subscription all the details are on their home page, i am not a member yet but will be in a couple of weeks, all the people here in AUSTRALIA i suggest you contact fair trading in your state/territory and ask them what details they have about "save the deals" if there is nothing on their books they will investigate them and will inform you when the site is investigated, do not forget to ask "fair trading to contact you after"

I was lucky to get my money back. I am usually very wary of deals that seem too good to be true. But like thisisjunhong, I purchased an air ticket from tigerair and was redirected to savethedeals.sg and was offered 4 cinema tickets for $1. Thinking that it was affiliated, I thought nothing of it until I saw my bill. Started to panic when I learned that their only form of contact was an email! It took a long time for them to respond asking for a refund as my coupon never reached my inbox. Any sign of transaction or welcome offer when I logged into my account on their website was also missing. Some very dubious marketing indeed.

Help!
I just realized that this savethedeal.sg has been charged me for 11 months :(
I didnt know if i have signed or agreed with their membership...
I didnt have any verification or notification as well...
So far, My husband who is the one help me with the payment, and i thought all payment are saved in singapore...
I didnt noticed that the $35.18 has already charged so long to my credit card...

I did call to my bank and they help me cancell my credit card and issue me with the new one...
I tried to call savethedeal.sg but the line are busy all the time...

Guys, let unite..
Report to police and get refund from them...

I had faced the same issue . This website is filled with scam . I got a msg "@Rs.50, & do shopping of Rs.1700 from any Malls like D'Mart etc.. It was very clearly mentioned that the cost was Rs 50 . I entered my credit card number and within seconds i got a message in my mobile saying that transaction of 1700 is successfully processed. I was not taken to any secured 3D page .Please block this website .Even they have not mentioned that first 1700 rs.will be deducted after that u have to purchase & send them purchase receipt.it was found when my amount was deducted.really very very fraud company.furthe they have no any contact number so at least we can speak to them.Have to take very strong action againts company or people like this.
