I recently had an experience with ScanMyPhotos that left me feeling quite disappointed. I had purchased a Groupon deal for $29, which promised to scan 500 of my most cherished photos. However, when I sent in my photos, I was informed that my Groupon had expired and was no longer valid. To my surprise, ScanMyPhotos then asked me to pay hundreds of dollars more to have my photos scanned.

I was quite upset about this and decided to reach out to Groupon for help. Unfortunately, Groupon was unable to assist me in any way. To make matters worse, I had already spent $25 on the Groupon, as well as an additional $20 to ship my photos to ScanMyPhotos. And when I finally received my photos back months later, I was charged another $20 for return shipping.

All in all, I ended up spending $85 on this experience and was left feeling quite frustrated. I don't think I would consider using ScanMyPhotos again in the future, and I would caution others against purchasing their Groupon deal. It's just not worth the risk of being charged additional fees and ending up out of pocket.

I gotta say, I had a pretty good experience with ScanMyPhotos. I mean, I would've given them five stars just for how much help they gave me over the phone. But let me tell you, their website is a bit of a doozy. It's not exactly user-friendly, if you know what I mean. I had to call them up every step of the way just to make sure I was doing everything right. But hey, at least they were there to help me out, right?

Now, I gotta admit, it did take them a while to process my order. But I get it, what with all the Covid stuff going on and everything. And honestly, the low cost made it worth the wait. But here's the thing that really got me: they charged me extra for "scan in order." And get this, I didn't even choose that option! But they still made me pay for it. And it was a pretty big chunk of change, too. Like, half of the total cost!

I mean, I don't really care about the order of my photos, you know? But apparently, they won't scan your pictures unless you pay that extra 7 cents per scan. And that's whether you choose it or not. It's like they're forcing you to pay for something you don't even want. That's just not cool, man. It's like they're trying to sneak in some extra charges or something.

But all in all, I'd say ScanMyPhotos is a pretty decent company. They just need to work on their website a bit and maybe be a little more upfront about their charges. But hey, at least they're there to help you out when you need it.
