Disappointed with School of PE's Video Quality and Instructor Effectiveness
So I found School of PE and thought it would be great for me to get some extra engineering knowledge. The price wasn't cheap, but I didn't mind it since I thought it was going to be worth it. Unfortunately, for me, the videos quality was low and the instructor was hard for me to understand. It's like they weren't talking, even if they did, I could not have a hint of what they were trying to explain. It was a bit frustrating, but it is what it is. Another problem I faced was that sometimes the instructor didn't say anything for like 10 seconds or so, making it even harder for me to grasp anything. The only positive note from all of this is that I'm sure it would have helped if I was able to watch them without any interruptions. So really, I'm pretty disappointed right now and wished I paid another company instead of School of PE.
Mixed Experience with School of PE's Instructors and Courses
I gotta say, I had a real problem with one of the instructors at School of PE. This guy was supposed to be teaching us, right? But all he did was read straight from his notes. No explanations, no elaborations, nothing. And he had the nerve to brag about all his years of experience - like that meant anything if he wasn't gonna share any of it with us! Worst of all, he'd just sit there drinking coffee and wandering around the class like he didn't have a care in the world. So unprofessional. I heard Sarah say the same thing in her review, and she's absolutely right. Don't waste your time with this guy if you can help it.
But I gotta give credit where it's due. Overall, School of PE was a pretty good experience. Yeah, there were some setbacks with that one instructor, but there were a lot of other instructors who were really on the ball - they knew their stuff AND they knew how to teach it. And it was a good mix of live online classes and self-paced videos. I opted for the On Demand course, which I know some people have complained about, but honestly it worked pretty well for me. I appreciated being able to work on my own time, especially since I was studying while working a full-time job. And the course materials were quite comprehensive.
So long story short, I'd say School of PE is definitely worth considering if you're studying for a professional engineering exam. Just keep in mind that not all instructors are created equal, and do your research on who you're gonna get. And don't overlook the self-paced option - it's not for everyone, but if it works for you, it can be a real game-changer.
Mixed Experience with School of PE On Demand Courses: Confusing Content and Unhelpful Instructors
For on demand courses, School of PE has been a mixed experience. While they do provide downloadable PDFs for studying, the content presented can be confusing and different from what is advertised. Additionally, some of the instructors spend more time talking about themselves or their job rather than actually providing helpful information.
The video content also leaves room for improvement, with incomplete material and questionable behavior from some of the instructors. For example, one instructor can be seen drinking and making strange noises into the mic during lectures, which can be distracting and unhelpful.
Overall, it may not be worth the investment to enroll in School of PE courses, as they do not seem to be effective in helping with exam preparation. As one frustrated student shared, "Don't waste your money or your study time," as there may be more beneficial resources available elsewhere.
Disappointing experience with School of PE: Unhelpful instructor, kicked out of class, poor communication
I had a less than good experience with School of PE. I was trying to get some help with a question, but sadly George Stankaweickch wasn't able to help me out. Despite my best efforts to continue on and get past it, he just kicked me out of the class without any solid reason. This kept on happening every time I logged back into the class, which made studying for the PE test all the more stressful.
Additionally, the communication from the School of PE was completely lackluster and didn't seem to care at all about the students' schedules and needs. This made the experience all the more frustrating. Honestly, I'd recommend going with another study program that actually cares about its students and helps them through the studying process.
Unpleasant Experience with School of PE: Not Worth the Money and Effort for PE Transportation Exam Preparation
I signed up for School of PE (schoolofpe.com) to prepare for my PE transportation exam. Since I was overseas, I missed my flight and couldn't take the exam. Unfortunately, the School of PE didn't allow me to retake it for free. I had to pay again for the on-demand class to prepare for the next exam.
I took the exam but failed. I signed up for the retake, but to my surprise, the materials had changed. I wasn't given access to the new study materials and had to pay again for them.
In my opinion, the School of PE is not worth the money. Their management is rude, and they make it difficult to get any sort of help or accommodations. They only care about making money from their students.
The course material is overwhelming, and it's easy to get lost in what to focus on. It's a waste of time and money, and I strongly recommend looking into other PE prep courses that may be more affordable and efficient.
Overall, the School of PE may not be the best option for those looking to take the PE transportation exam. My experience with them was unpleasant, and I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone.
Don't Waste Your Time: A Review of School of PE for PE Exam Prep
Bruh, if you be thinkin' about studyin' with School of PE, Imma tell you right now - ya better steer clear. I mean, homie, I tried usin' their stuff for my exam and ended up feelin' like I didn't know nothin'.
First off, don't even think 'bout sendin' them any questions. These teachers don't got no time for that. They take like a week to even bother replying and then they just tell you to go ask the school or say they can't even look at your files. I mean, like come on man, what kind of help are they giving us?
And let me tell you about those lectures...all they got is some weak PowerPoint presentations. Ain't nobody got time for that. I was studyin' for chemical engineering and they covered fluids, thermo, material and energy balances, reactions, mass transfer, and plant design and operations. But, get this, none of those problems were the same as what I got on the exam. I mean, what a total waste.
In my opinion, School of PE might work for the FE, but it's no use for the PE. So my advice to my peeps out there - don't even think 'bout it.
Mixed Review of School of PE's Civil Engineering Exam Prep
I recently enrolled in School of PE to help me prepare for my Civil Engineering exam. I must say that I found the morning section material somewhat helpful. The hardcover book was interesting, and I admired the equations in the back. However, I found that just using the CERM (Civil Engineering Reference Manual) and working practice problems to be more beneficial.
To be honest, I wasted HOURS watching all of those videos. And guess what? I would have been better of just doing practice problems and watching YouTube videos when I had questions. Even posting questions on Reddit yielded more help than School of PE provided. As a result, I failed the exam.
The afternoon portion was not great, my professor would put on slides "be sure to read about xyz" rather than including relevant information in the course. It did not end there; I dislike how they use SI units on a lot of problems. I do not think I had one SI unit problem on the exam. This fact made it horrible for afternoon stuff, and not the best for morning.
Overall, I think that School of PE is a decent resource for Civil Engineering exam preparations. However, their afternoon section needs a lot of work, and sometimes the content in the morning section could be better organized and presented more effectively. But, if you use it in conjunction with other resources, it can be beneficial.
Preparing for the PE Exam with School of PE: A Positive Experience for Busy Professionals
I dabbled into the world of engineering eight years ago when I earned my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME). After graduating, I found myself working in the Transportation field as a Civil Engineer (CE). Fast forward to now, and you can imagine how daunting it was to try and prepare for the Professional Engineer (PE) exam in Transportation without much recent exposure to the subject matter.
A colleague recommended School of PE's on-demand course as a way for me to study while still maintaining a full-time schedule. Although I purchased the on-demand course, I struggled to motivate myself to keep up with the video lectures. I ended up switching to the live classes so that I had a scheduled routine to adhere to.
Overall, I found that the instructors explained the material exceptionally well, and I didn't feel the need to read the textbook for the afternoon portion of the course. However, I did find that the water instructor wasn't the best, so I ended up switching to the on-demand class to hear a lesson from another instructor.
After watching the live class videos a second time, I worked on the workshop problems and quizzes. I found the material to be an adequate representation of what's on the actual PE exam, and the references were quite helpful. However, it did take me quite a bit of time and effort. For five months, I studied after work from 6 to 9:30 pm, and on weekends, I dedicated six hours each day to studying.
But, my hard work paid off, as I passed the Transportation exam on my first try! I am grateful for my positive experience with School of PE and would recommend it to anyone who needs a little extra help in preparing for the PE exam.
Unethical Practice Alert: School of PE Charged Me Double for Canceled Exam During Pandemic
I cannot believe the experience I had with School of PE. In the middle of this COVID-19 pandemic, where we are all struggling to keep our studies on track and stay motivated, these guys decide to take advantage of us. I had registered for the April 2020 PE exam in MA, which was then canceled due to the pandemic. It was really disheartening, but I understood that these were challenging times, and exams had to be postponed for the safety of everyone involved.
Later on, I had to move to California for my job and was unable to register for the October 2020 PE exam. During all this time, I had not accessed the School of PE website, and I assumed that my enrollment had been canceled. But when I contacted them to restore my account because my April exam had been canceled, they had the audacity to demand $700 from me! I mean, seriously?
I was outraged and tried to clear up the situation with them. But the customer service was terrible, and it only made things worse. They kept repeating that the product manager (who I later found out was the VP Radhika Dega) needed to be contacted and that they could only offer a 50% discount. Meanwhile, I was left hanging, not knowing what was going on. It was frustrating and absurd, and I couldn't believe how callous this company was.
I feel cheated and lied to. The School of PE does not deserve any more business or trust from customers. They need to be more accountable for their actions, especially during these tough times. Charging customers double for exams that were canceled due to the pandemic is unacceptable. I hope that more people speak out against their unethical practices and help put an end to this.

Don't Waste Your Money on School of PE's ChemE Exam Prep - No Refunds, Poor Quality Videos
I copped out on School of PE and went for ChemE PE in the hope of making a leap towards my dream job. But the videos they provided turned out to be absolutely trash and riddled with errors that made my head spin. I was bummed out big time, but little did I know, I was stuck with the suckage as there was no chance of getting a refund or any sort of satisfaction. So, I would suggest you to take a hike from School of PE and save your dough for sites that really take the trouble to provide quality material.
Not Impressed: My Experience with School of PE
.
School of PE was not the best educational experience for me. The accent of the steel and bridge instructors were difficult to understand at times, which was frustrating. The teaching was also quite superficial, which made it difficult to fully comprehend the material. The steel class, in particular, did not cover all the necessary manual examples that were useful in the exam. That was a major disappointment. The bridge class was even worse! It was a terrible experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The wooden class was basic, but unfortunately, it was still not good enough to fully prepare me for the professional engineer (PE) exam. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the quality of teaching and wouldn't recommend School of PE to others.
Mixed Review for School of PE: Great Resources, But One Teacher is a Train Wreck
So, let me tell you about School of PE. First things first, they have a teacher for chemical engineering that ain't so great. I think they must have found the cheapest one they could get their hands on. I mean, I had to watch his videos just to get credit for the class. But let me tell ya, it was painful.
The dude made so many mistakes in his lectures. I swear, it was like watching a train wreck. And when it came to writing problems on the board, forget about it! He couldn't write a problem up to save his life. I mean, I've seen kids draw better pictures with crayons than the handouts we got.
Now, I don't want to say that School of PE as a whole is terrible, because that's simply not true. They have some really great teachers and resources that can help you pass your exam. I just think they dropped the ball on this particular teacher.
Overall, I'd say that School of PE is worth checking out if you're studying for an exam. But be warned, you might need to sift through some less-than-stellar material to find the good stuff.
