With just clamping the car in his enormous boss area.
I intended to return today to pick up the transcript, but my car had been clamped. When I came to pick up my car, I discovered that it was locked. I questioned Polis Bantuan why my car was locked. The reason was that the parking space where I parked was reserved. I told him there was no mention of reserved parking, and the parking grid on the ground wa...

As a master's student in Clinical psychology, I found that the available databases and materials that provided by the uni are too limited while the uni collects fees for library service, ICT and other facilities each semester.
My previous university, where I completed my degree studies, we had access to a variety of databases (Springer, Science Direct, Psyarticles, ProQuest etc..), here it's just mostly just Scopus.
Other than that, we don't have access to crucial software like SPSS and AMOS, which are essential for our research.
Desired outcome: I urge the management to consider:1. Expanding the range of databases and materials accessible to Psychology2. Providing us with software like SPSS and AMOS for effective data analysis
Bad administrative process, poor management
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration with the delay in receiving my admission letter from UCSI I submitted a formal request for my admission letter on 16/8/2023 to fulfill the requirements for a student discount on air tickets through trip.com. However, it has now been 60 days since my initial request, and I have not received...

Issue with lecturer
I am an ACCA student, joining last January. I've been looking for a college that can help me with my exam and I chose UCSI because it's the nearest to my house and workplace. So basically, I chose private university, paying high tuition fees, because I'm currently working and studying part-time, with hope that they will offer flexibility and be a little bit understanding regarding my time constraint. Unfortunately, they don't. The lecturer annoyed me. First, she asked to change the class arrangement from weekend to weekdays so that we can have our weekend free, knowing fully well that we all works. We tried to be understanding and we all agreed. The class starts at 7 and I get off my work at 6. That is, if I am not required to do OT, which is impossible for my line of work. So sometimes, I would have to rush back and joined in the car while driving. I didn't mind because I was informed that there will be recording of the lecture. What irritate me was that she kept on calling for me even though I told her I was driving. And sometimes I had to join from outside because I couldn't make it in time. Imagine having to answer her repeated questions at public places. I understand that she wants engagement in her class, but if she saw that the student is the type that prefer listening, than just don't bother. That's my way of studying. Just ask those that are interested to engage. In the end, I didn't join and only listen to her recordings lecture.
It was hard to obtain the materials as well, I don't even know where the hell she put the materials and the recordings also disappeared if I don't download it right away. This lecturer also forced us to join program on weekend. I paid for tuition not for some extracurricular activities. I don't have time for that. I'm busy as it is and she still wants us to prepare slides and do presentation. I agreed to join because she kept on pushing. Unfortunately, I was not feeling well at that time, so I had to withdraw. She was mad that I told her last minute. Well, how could I've known that my fever will get worse duh.
A few months after classes ended, she suddenly reached out to me, wanting me to answer feedbacks for her, saying all this stuff about her promotion. I helped her. Unfortunately for me, my laptop got issue and I had to go for a repair. Needless to say, I lost all the materials and recordings. I reached out to her, asking that maybe she could share them with me if she still has it. To this day, she didn't reply me at all. Not even saying she don't have them. I wasted my money. So, I'm dropping out of this college.
Lecturers problem [ethical issues, attitudes, behavioural issues]
Firstly, i'm a student at UCSI since 2016 till 2023 (present) being studying from the lowest qualification till now. Always love the atmosphere here in UCSI. But there are some 'black sheep' in the campus. Which the first one I would address is DR ENG POH HWA. She is really ridiculous, marking my attendance as absent twice a day, which a single day absence and she marked it twice, which showing that I have missed two classes in the attendance system, not sure that is system problem or her own problem. However, she did it quite frequently, not only once, and this genius action made me unable to sit for exam as I have been barred due to my poor attendance of it. I have submitted my MC to override the real absence date to overwrite my attendance.
This DR ENG really giving me a very bad attitude saying that why I did not reply her email and that time I couldn't receive any email as my school mail is not accessible. Others lecturer will text me regarding my issues if they found out student are not replying the email, they might be aware something is not going right but this DR ENG is just not giving any care about it, just let it be. Her attitude is super bad and super rude, sounds like I owe her a lot of money. And this makes me need to retake the subject again just because of her. thank you so much my friend DR ENG.
Second issues, nearly same with this but is about our FYP supervisor, DR RXJXT. Me and my friend as a group, were asked to choose a topic for our fyp he like, but not what we wanted to do. However, we just keep sticking on the topic we want to do because interest on the topic will affect the results of the FYP.
Who know, when we presented this topic, the supervisor didn't even bother to listen to our explanation or our justification on why we have choose said topic. The supervisor just said that we are the bad and the worst among his leading. The problem is because of WE DID NOT do the topic he wanted, thats why he is mad. Imagine how ridiculous it is.
Complaint regarding unresponsiveness in students’ enquiry and unreasonable grade
I am writing to formally file a complaint against a lecturer regarding his unresponsiveness and the unfair grade I received for my Introduction to public Speaking subject.
Throughout the course, I have made numerous attempts to reach out to him via email and in person regarding clarification and details about the assessments. Unfortunately, I have received little to no response
Furthermore, I am deeply disappointed by the final grade I received for m the subject. The grading lacked clear clarification and details, making it difficult for me to comprehend the reasoning behind the assigned grade. I believe this has led to an unjust assessment of my work and has negatively impacted my overall academic standing.
As I truly have paid attention in all his classes and put in my best effort for every single in-class task, assignment, and presentation. While his feedback on them is quite good, I would be grateful if he could provide me with some clarification on my performance in the course or if there are any errors in the grade.
In addition to the unresponsiveness, there was a specific incident where I approached him via email if I could get some clarification on that and his insights wherein I could have improved. He was being unresponsive at times and in my third or fourth attempt, he finally replied to me and requested a face-to-face meeting to discuss my concerns. However, despite my availability and commitment to the meeting, he was unaccounted for, leaving me without any prior notice or explanation for his absence. Although I did follow up with him afterwards, there was no response from him.
I kindly request that a thorough investigation be conducted into this matter. It is crucial that the university ensures fair and transparent grading practices and that students receive appropriate support and guidance from their lecturers. Additionally, I seek clarification on the grading criteria and feedback for my conjecture so that I can better understand the areas in need of improvement.
Desired outcome: A fair grade
Racist unfair teachers and unsupportive environment
Usci is such a pathetic university. They behave in a very bad way with international students and there are teachers who fail good students again and again without any reason just because of their own personal grudges. They don't even tell you your marks so you can recheck your mistakes or show you your exam papers. If a student emails the hod, makes a complain, instead of being supportive they are replied so rudely. What kind of teachers are these? this is a complete scam and money making institution, they want money, and for this they keep failing good students on purpose. This is complete injustice and I demand answers!
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response and support so i can help a friend pass his course who was failed on purpose by a teacher twice
Library is always noisy and the staff do not prevent it
UCSI library is always noisy because of some students and even the library staff. Those library staff do not prevent those student who talk loudly and the library staff even also talk loudly sometimes, I guess because they forget they are as a library staff?
So I hope this complaint can improve this bad situation and make the library staff be responsible on their job to let student have a place to study well
Desired outcome: I hope library can be quite to let student have a place to study well and comfartable
Extremely slow service
I had finished my Bachelor for Pharmacy degree since the year 2020. However, due to covid season, my convocation ceremony had to postponed till further notice. In the meantime, if I had to apply for a job for the government, I had to use my academic transcript as a supporting document instead.
My convocation ceremony at last was held at November 2021.
But due to work reasons, I couldn't come to attend the ceremony.
It is March now, I tried calling and emailing Registrar on a Monday to ask whether I could have my graduation certificate sent to me by courier. The Registrar just forwarded my email to another person (Lim Soo Ling), Ms soo ling told me to pay RM10 for the courier service, which I did. No complaints there.
I waited 3 days later: Thursday. I wondered why didn't I recieve any tracking number from my university? The payment receipt I obtained on a Tuesday; did they send my cert or not?
I called the university to confirm: they said: "I will inform ms noor hazani, and will deliver my cert tomorrow, which is on a Friday."
I told the person that I was calling to inform ms noor hazani to give a tracking number. The caller said he understood and will inform ms hazani later.
But there was no news from her on Friday.
I called Registrar office on a Saturday, and I asked the management whether my cert had been sent via courier service. He said he will check will Mrs hazani later and told me call back "later".
I called back again after 2 hours, and it turns out he actually wanted me to call back on Monday. Furthermore, he said he had left a note on Mrs Hazani' desk and proudly said he had left a message on her desk and she will check on it on Monday.
I mean I had worked in retail and in a hospital and the way you guys passover your jobs; it is just slow and terrible. Could he at least texted Mrs hazani through WhatsApp and asked her.
I doubted she even remembered to send my cert .
I can't believe it has been almost a week for them, and I still not sure whether they have sent my graduation certificate or not.
Desired outcome: Please hurry up and send my graduation certificate and give me the tracking number of the parcel

Classrooms & facilities
I'm a new student enrolling this year (Jan 2022) for interior arch programme. For our first week of class, we were told our classes will be held online when it should be physical. Reason was, they needed more time to 'prepare our studios'. Came the 2nd week, and our class was not ready! Not only the room was a complete mess, with no tables and broken chairs, but the floors were so dusty as if it had just been renovated (it wasn't). Just as we thought the class would be prepared for the 3rd week, we found out the class must be shared with 2 semester classes and mind you, this class was an open floor which means there was nothing separating the 2 classes except 2 thin wooden partitions. We cant even hear our lecturers properly because of the noise coming from the students from the other semester! Also, as interior architecture students, it is crucial that we have a proper studio table/desk to do work with our laptops & models, but all we were provided were those tiny chairs with tiny built in flip table. I paid RM22k for this? While the office staffs at block G can have perfectly nice tables and chairs and nice air conditioning too. Heck, even their toilets are much better! What about the students facilities and welfare? Did we not pay you enough for us to have a conducive learning space? Where has our money gone to? Disappointed. And this is only my first month here.
Desired outcome: student facilities must be up to date as to what we paid to study there. We want our learning experience to be a breeze, not for office staffs to lounge around in a fancy office with chandeliers
The SOP
It is ridiculous, some lecturers don't wear face mask during the class at all, especially in a indoor classroom. I can't understand it, the pandemic is really serious now. Without approval letter, if you don't have any symptoms of covid, you are compulsory to go back to campus. Forcing us to go back to the campus but the SOP is not followed! This university is risking students' health
Staff
UCSI University probably has the worst staff I've ever seen in any business, starting from Faculty to the international office. The staff is extremely rude to students, extremely lazy, and can barely understand basic words. They think helping students with their needs and complaints is a gift when it's actually their job description. As a student from faculty of business and management, it's actually really funny how most of the courses we take, talk about how staff needs to behave and interact with customers to ensure their satisfaction when UCSI staff can barely follow these rules to save their lives.
Desired outcome: Better Staff Performance
Professors and FYP
I would like to complain about the supervisor for my final year project. We, as a group, were asked to choose a topic for our fyp, but when we presented this topic, the supervisor didn't even bother to listen to our explanation or our justification on why we have choose said topic. They simply disregard it as a topic which have an "obvious" answer, hence, further research was not needed.
Futhermore, they do not take into consideration of what we as students have passion for and simply want us to agree to what they say. This is our final year project, not the supervisor's. Why would we do research on what you think was valuable? For the supervisor to judge our topic as "not valuable enough" for the society is very unprofessional. Please do not do this to other students. You are discouraging us from working on things we actually have passion for.
Desired outcome: Please let us have our freedom on what we could do.

Lecturer, management
The lecturers are worse as they are not responsible and does not respect their students! This is so rude to know, hard to contact them as well as they will not border your situation they just think about themselves.
Desired outcome: Please be more strict in choosing lecturer
Registrar office
I finished my course in 2020 during the Covid season (July). It is now March and I have yet to receive my completion letter, transcript and certificate. The first time I emailed to request the said documents, they said they can only give to me after a meeting, but after that, they didn't followed up. After some time, I emailed again. This time when I emailed, they asked for courier service charges and I paid them but 2 weeks after that, still no news from them so I decided to call to check as I have already lost an opportunity for a job interview. During the call, I found out that my documents are ready but then they just wasn't bothered to notify me or send to me, so I just voiced out my disappointment, the person who spoke on the phone, without saying anything just put my call on hold. What kind of manners is this? Did UCSI actually interview their employees properly before accepting them?
Desired outcome: Please improve your work efficiency and also work ethics and go through PR training.
About the ptptn
I want complain about the ucsi management and UCSI student affair, they open the july intake for a special case. But I borrow about the ptptn have many problem such as we must write the declaration letter for agree for change our course time to other semester. Once we have write the declaration letter and the add/drop course, then the management office say that because the borrower ptptn only can Sep and May only so I chose the Sep semester. At 12/10, I heard from my HOD, we only can chose 3 course at January semester and she tell us we have to postpone our graduation until to August actually our can be April graduate. In conclusion, I very disappointed university cannot solve this problem. This is also effect and waste our future life. All student of borrow the PTPTN at July semester also have this problem. Thus, I think this department can help us (ucsi student in July intake and borrow the ptptn) and attach importance to this problem
Exam date timetable
On 31st of March, UCSI management released an announcement that we will be having our exams on 17th April as the MCO is done by 14th April.
It is a very serious matter for all students and staffs in UCSI. We think that to have our examination dates are far too risky. I think that UCSI is too determined to have the finals. There are so many ways to do it but they insist to do things so traditionally and have exam just right after the MCO. After the MCO ends does not mean that the virus is cleared or the nation is safe but it had just settled down a bit. Please consider again, this is just plain absurd. Keep in mind that Cheras is one of the red-flagged area.
Noisy student past midnight at outdoor cafeteria
I'm writing to notify you about your students gathering and being very loud past midnight. I'm a long time resident at Taman Connaught (House located next to UCSI)
They gather at the outdoor cafeteria (which is directly behind my house)
Are there security patrolling the uni compound? Are they allowed to put a stop at students with such gatherings?
Kindly look into this matter, as this is not the first time.
Guard
I was going to block e just now and my car engine was a bit bad, need to press more gear only can go, so the hill is high, the guard shouted at me to sabar(be patience), I like what the hell and I tried to explain, he didn't accept it, even I said sorry, he said me poor family education.
He scolded me not once only, it's two times, he was blocking my way somemore to stop me and scolded me? I like what the hell. What's the problem?
Socket/plug
The sockets and plugs are not enough on level 2 and level 3. Students does not have places to do their assignments. The classrooms need access card to access to the electricity like switching on the lights and AC. Hence, students could not use their laptop. Other than that, students are not allowed to use the classrooms overnight. Architecture students need...
