Course and scholarship description
Hi
I called your centre Ucsi cheras to ask regarding a course and further details on it as well as scholarships offered by your university .
I am very disappointed with the rate your university replies to me,
Up till today I have not gotten feedback regarding the course, was told that person in charge would call me but till now no one has .
Looking at this, I don't see why should I even join your university with such enthusiasm from your side .
I am complaining about the parcel collection issue
I'm a student from ucsi north wing campus, would like to complain about this issue . I received an email shows that from 3/10 onwards students who would like to send their parcel to university should charge for rm3 per parcel less than 2kg, rm6 per parcel more than 3 kg. So UCSI university mentioned that top private university must be charged every single money from student? Eventhough student the car parking? Is this worth for student? So this rules came out doesn't encourage student to pos their parcel to university?

Subject as311 (investment portfolio management)
I am a student taking Actuarial Science and Finance (intake May 2015).
This semester(Jan 2019) should be my last year and last semester, but due to the reason of the subject AS311 is not offered in Jan 2019 semester, I cannot complete my course in Jan 2019. I plan according to the study plan provided by my Head Deparment, but now due to the subject not offered reason, I cannot complete my course and even cannot join the Convocation 2019.
I hope that UCSI University can open and offer the subject AS311 in Jan 2019 as soon as possible because there are many students are affected by this reason.

About service and commission process

Masud here, currently I had agreement with ur university to provide them more students.i started with one student just to see service.but i had difficulties from the services such as finance and hostel management. For hostel before 3 months students came here we registered a hostel then marketing department said everything done but two days before students come in Malaysia suddenly they r saying (the hostel we booked its full) really dont have ideas "How could they said " after that they try to blackmail me, like my student need to stay another hostel which is more expensive and the problem " why they informed me two days before and why they said hostel full the one I booked three months before "
2nd difficulties
After student done everything, as a agent i claim my commission. I gave invoice using my personal account (not company account) bcz I am one of the director and I am the person who giving student.then they asked me to give a letter from my company that commission will go into my personal account. When I submit they said they r processing now after one month ur staff sent me another agreement to sign and said that they will process
My question is, if they start process now, again they will take another one month to clear my commission.
I am really disappointed, this is the first university i am having this difficult. To get more students, from my opinion some of departments staffs, dont have enough communication skills.
I hope management will call me regarding this matter.

Untrue content on the website of ucsi biotechnology
I was being told that I am allowed to transfer to University of Queensland for Bachelor of Biomedical sciences for the last 1.5 years if I enrolled into Biotechnology (1.5 +1.5) course. After I registered, the people in the admission Office told me something wrong with the website and the 1.5 + 1.5 is for bachelor of science: major in Biomedical sciences. If I want to take Bachelor of Biomedical sciences, the course will be 1+4.
It has been two weeks and yet the contents on UCSI website still haven't been corrected.

1) sit back and do nothing(not teaching) on tutorial session
2) instead of giving a proper assignment, the lecturer gives in-class assignment where assignment marks counted when students do their tutorial
3) bad attitude and does not respect his student
4) talking unrelated topics on lecturer session such as durians at ss2 are free to eat all
5) not providing any answer when tutorial is given, students do not know if they do it correctly or not
Library, toilet, and cleaner
Some of the library's chair is not comfortable (second floor). As for the toilet (female), most of it don't have place to put stuff, or even hang. Except for the new block (block G) the toilet is the only one that has the best facilities. And lastly, cleaner. There was once I was scolded by the cleaner. She was mopping the stair, and while I was climbing it, I did said sorry a lot of times while climbing. And she just being mean by telling me to use the other stair, and not just that, she even dragging me down. I could've fall. First of all, before she said anything I had already apologized, and even after she scolded me I still apologized. Yet, she could've being much polite to me, or she could've put a sign there that stated, 'cleaning in progress, please used other stairs'. I wouldn't want to complain about this but the word counting required an amount, so yeah. But I understand that before this, some student might have being rude to her. But then again, I'm not that someone. As a top university, besides academic, I guessed a university insides play an important role too. Our academic might have achieved the standard, but it would have been much better of the overall matched the standard too.
The school security guard and high traffic 10/1/18 1.40pm
Today was a terrible day for me. As you know that your school have been lacking of car parking. I was turning around at the mountain for 3-4 time to looks for a parking. In the end I saw someone is parking near the guard house so I was in a hurry and I just turn over there for a parking, when I was parking there and the guard suddenly knock my window and tell me I cant park over there and of course I ask him why? I ask him why I cant park over there since there have a alphard car park over there and the guard is very impolite answer me he was the big boss do you want me to bring you see the big boss? Please be reasonable how can someone reply like this. By that time I was in a hurry so I don't want to waste any of my time but I do like to say to the guard now (can you bring me to see the big boss you are saying). When I get a park and I was running over the class and what I can see is that the class have been cancel. Please don't say that you can check on the website. There was always been a high traffic at website and I cant even log in. So this is how a school operates. Wasting my time and petrol and money for toll and parking.
Unprofessional customer care tele conversation
Good morning,
I am the mother of a master student at your University and have happened to call the registrar office requesting for a letter of acknowledgement for my daughter.
I was attended by Ms. Silvia. I have explained that I will need a letter of acknowledgement for a student to be submitted to the employer, and would it be alright if i sent an email. She said it is better to come directly on the day of class and request for it over the counter. I explained that the next class is on this friday, no doubt, but I will be in a rush and may not have enough time to drop by the registrar's office. She insistently asked " I don't understand you, you just said that you have class on friday, you cant drop by for a few seconds?' She also said that email is not an official way and it will not be entertained as a priority. As such, the letter will be delayed.
Finally when i asked, what if I am not able to come for class on friday?, she then said you can drop the email but it will be entertained on next tuesday only. Today is wednesday and it will take 6 days before they decide to look at my email?
And this from the person at the office, just for a letter of acknowledgement?
I would like an explaination for this. I have asked my daughter to drop the email to [protected]@ucsiuniversity.edu.my . I will await an answer for this complaint before deciding my next move.

Management organization
First of all, as an ordinary student in UCSI University who is currently in Year 1 Sam 2 majoring in Finance and Investment, I have several complaints towards the management system in this University.
Way back in Dec 2016, I have completed my Year 1 Sam 1 degree which is something that I could celebrate. Unfortunately, I have been told that I was not allowed to proceed to seem 2 in Jan 2017 due to the INCOMPLETION of my FOUNDATION.
The story is, I had changed my program from Foundation in Science to Foundation in Art during Nov 2015, which was the third month of my 2nd semester in Foundation in Science. I did consulted my HOD of Foundation in Science and she claimed that I could just proceed with my 3rd seem of foundation in arts, complete it and I could proceed with my degree studies straight away without have to EXTEND ANY semester or take ANY more COURSES in the 3rd semester. So, with joy, I decided to change my program. Anyway, I forgot to request BLACK & WHITE from her so I do not have any proves to prove that she made the statement and now, Registrar office had deferred my degree studies and the only choice I have is again, back to Foundation for one seem. Registrar office even replied that there is nothing that I can do and they are unable to provide any assistance yet they are the one who allowed me to do the course selection for my degree courses! Why are they so irresponsible? Why not they directly inform me that I have not completed my foundation and I could not proceed to degree before I get my feet stepped into degree studies? FOBIS even declared my results in Degree Y1S1 had been voided! The only choice I have was to take the balance subjects of Foundation in Art in Jan 2017.
Now, I have completed all the remaining courses in FOUNDATION IN ARTS after RO had deferred my degree program this early semester. Being a responsible student, I attended all the classed every day and finished all the assignments on time and finally completed the final exam.
Nonetheless, until now, my results are still yet to be announced! RO again said that I could not do the course selection now for Degree Y1S2. Then may I know what should I do if the capacity of the subjects that I wanted to select are full? Please do not expect me to ask the HOD again because I tried and she said all the lecturers have no single authority to enroll me into any classes, she will not help me. This is definitely unfair to me as I paid UCSI like how other students do but why am I treated like an outsider? One more thing to say, the exam center did not even arrange a seat for me during the final exam (Jan 2017). I paid EXTRA RM 5500 for this Jan 2017 semester for the EXTRA FOUNDATION COURSES with the CLAIMING of HOD saying that I WOULD NOT HAVE TO TAKE ANY EXTRA COURSES IF MY CHANGED FROM Fe's TO Fie! UCSI, I suggest you to improve your management system first instead of prioritizing on expanding your business? Lastly, do reply me on what I should do if the subjects such as MICROECONOMIC and FINANCE MANAGEMENT 1 which usually have the tendency to be full in capacity are full? Who can guarantee that I could take all the courses that I want after they slowly released my results?
Amending of final draft of exam timetable
How could a final exam be scheduled on Sunday [protected]) as it is a public holiday? How could a FINAL draft be amended again? Moreover it is never stated as a date of final exam in the academic calendar! It really brings stuffs to me as I could not amend my ticket to go back for exam! Please consider this seriously. Some courses are not included for those who signed the petition, but too our subject are affected!

Dear UCSI, I'm so disappointed on the way you decide on your student name for the student card. I have a Christian name on my IC and after 'your discussion', you just decide on removing the Christian name and just go on with my Chinese name. I understand that you have lack of space since there is a picture on the student ID. But, the main thing is I'm known with my Christian name and you should have be more efficient by allowing us to choose what name we want. Like, you should at least take my Christian name and my sir name! Cause that's the way we are known with! And, I did request to change it but you don't allow. Like, does that make any sense. Why can't i change it? So, does that mean I have to use that card for the until I graduate?! I know it may seems like a small matter to you but its real important since thats the name my parents gave. Its a kind of respect! And, since you make it as a debit card, don't you think its more important for us to have a proper name.
Do fix this matter immediately!
Next time, let us choose the name we want. Put a column for those who have Christian Name to choose which one they prefer!

Poor attitude of security guards
03/11/2016, about 2pm to 3pm.
Today, me and my friend went to your campus (the one in connaught near the Giant) to have a visit as we are planning which university we should sign up. When we arrive at the guard house, both of us didn't saw anyone in the guard house so there is no way for us to tell anyone that we are visitors. So, we just took a ticket and went into your campus. There is no space left for us to park our car except for the visitors parking. As we are visitors, we parked our car there. Then, a security guard came and scolded us for parking at the visitors parking. We reasoned with him and tried to tell him that we are visitors and he just scolded us back. He said that visitors should have taken a card (or something like visitor pass? I'm not sure what is it) first before entering the campus. We told him that when we were at the guard house, we didn't see anyone inside or anyone around that could help us. He then became more angry and said that he was there all along and don't blame him. (He had also said something about being fired but he talked too fast and I can't hear him clearly.) Then we just leave the parking lot and try to get out of the campus. When we arrived at the guard house (someone is inside this time), I tried to call the person inside and ask where is the auto pay machine. The person inside seemed to ignore me or what, as we have waited there for some time and when I tried to call him he didn't even open the window, and called the person who scolded us just now to deal with us. We then left the campus without even have the chance to walk around and see the facilities. Both of us are very dissapointed.
We knew that today is a week day and we are expecting less parking spaces in the campus for visitors. However, the attitude of your guards are very bad compared to the guards in Sunway University. We went to Sunway before visiting your campus today. We faced the same problem (no parking space) there but the attitude of their guards are much more better. They told us that we cannot park at the place we stopped and adviced us to park at a nearby building (the whole building is a huge parking lot).
Finally, me and my friends have decided to sign up with Sunway University. I lodged this report so that you could improve your services. The attitude of the security guards are very important as they are often the first person to deal with visitors. If their attitude is rude, it will leave a negative impression for the people who visits your campus and you may just lost some potential customers.
Besides that, I hope that you can improve on your facilities as well. There is very limited parking space in and around the campus. It is very inconvenient for those who are driving to school.

When come to Financial Department, they could reply your email and help you solve the problem on the same day to make sure you pay your fees. But when come to scholarship trust department, it takes at least 4 days just to reply your email. I'm requesting a consent letter to apply for other financial aid- PTPTN. I send a formal letter through email to them on 15Dec, even send another email again to ask for the status on 20Dec, now already 24Dec, they haven't gave me any feedback and they don't receive my call. I don't know what the f--- they are doing.
Playing with students marks
UCSI University have been definitely proving a total bad record by making use of student's money as well as playing with their marks up n down as they wish. How is that a university does not reveal one's exact marka but only shows results of your grade?! If we would want our marks, they will ask for payment and if we would like for a remark, it will be a payment as well as the mark never changed before. I have my very own fren whom have been abused by all these by this so called good university. They have been playing with his marks and failing him all the time. If the student is to be blamed, how is that this student received various job applications based on his practical yet based on the university results, he fails?! This university is so ridiculous only money making. Never destroy your future by joining this university. I stand still with my decision till my friend gets a justice on this matter. A fair play. Stop failing students.

I agree with you my girlfriend from oversea to studies in UCSI. the stuff always give the wrong information, always call her come back tomorrow. some stuff impolite! she was studies English course 1 level RM1500 for 1 month. during the course the UCSI increase the Fee 1 level RM17xx. they didn't give some notice to infirm students for increase course fees. before she study, she already made full payment RM11, 620.00.
she started the English course from Level 5 to Level 10. when I heard that I felt strange why she must pay full payment RM11, 620
I went to UCSI to asked the stuff Level 5 to Level 10 course fees only RM7500 + Visa processing Fee RM450 + application Fee RM150 + Library Deposit & caution Fee (refundable) + Insurance Premium + Facilities Fees = total only RM 9120. why she has to paid RM11, 620 then the UCSI stuff told me when finish study the balance will refundable, then I understood. when she has finished Level 5 to up level to Level 6 she doesn't know her course already increase to RM1750 after finished Level 6 she got some increase course information from another China classmate said. her classmate got the information from Argent. after finished Level 10 I went with my girlfriend to UCSI to Complain. I complained why she didn't received any notice about increase Course fees. Nothing from my house address mailbox, no phone call infirm, no sms infirm and no email! UCSI said they already sent the email to infirm students the cost is increasing! I said no she don't get the email from UCSI. the stuff said UCSI sent it to your student UCSI email! then I just nothing to say! what can I said USCI got my all money increase fees anytime what can I say?!
does the government help me? I think is impossible to help me!

Financial fraud
Stay away from “UCSI Financial“ located in Toronto at 5000 Yonge St., unit 1901.
This is financial fraud company. It actually consists from only one person – Julian Gleizer. He advertises his company as helping in receiving Government Grants for small businesses and startups. As a matter of fact he makes you pay for his service but doesn’t do anything. Once he receives money he disappears and neither Police, nor Court, not you will be able to find him and get you money back.

Using interpol to intimidate students
The attached is an example of how Malaysian universities go to the extent of threatening students through the international police force. I have a friend who suffered a smilar problem to this one by the Mongolian student. Often, UCSI University erases such records, or substitute them with another name of a student who can be contacted to say that everything is fine and hunky dory.
There is so many dirty tricks among the thieves here at UCSI University. I know Iranian and Nigerian friends who were approached to spyon their fellow students. Spy for what? They were promised campus residence fee waiver or something like that.
When they refused, they were soon left packing their bags. This university is only concerned about money. Sometimes they throw a cheap party for students to show they care. English is not by staff at the campus. Only Chinese spoken. In class they try to speak in English. Very poor!
I am very, very concerned how the Interpol can be used to intimidate foreign students. This is very, very serious. If the student commit a crime, then normal police can do.
I have got the original e-mails of UCSI's bullying, cheating and threatening practise.

Seems like the norm not just in UCSI but in most Malaysian private universities. They spend millions burnishing their image online and through slick marketing campaigns but overall, the quality is poor. They target students from poor, Third World countries, often promising them a stepping stone into Australia, Canada and New Zealand. But reality is different when you get here. Unfortunately, many of these universities also attract criminal elements from around the world. However, using Interpol over a student complaint should not come as a shock. That's Malaysia. Maybe, that's why two Iranians travelled on a stolen passport that were not checked against Interpol's database. I guess the Interpol is being used for more important reasons. The irony is UCSI has been entrusted to lead Malaysia's tourism marketing in China. Most of lives lost on MH370 were from China.
Bad service
The fiance department was providing a bad service to the student. The stuff in the fiance department was so rude and so impolite when talking to us. I'm very disappointed with them.

As identity of student is easy to bully ? They Always like that only two staff serve for 20 customer or even more. Rude receptionist
I am very dissapointed with the receptionist in mahsa college who spoke on the phone to me. Greetings? Well, forget about it.. I told her someone asked me to call back to the college and she said she had no idea who that is and ask me to wait and when I ask her again she scolded me that I do not understand english! Can someone stand this kind of attitude? Can the admin dept lost their college student's profile? Oh god! It's 2008, they should've key in everything into the computer! How can such a thing happened? This is a bad management! How can they still accepting students while their management is so poor! Please someone do something! Please stop them to spoil the future of the young generation!
