Seasons Holidays Season preventing access to laugharne without spending thousands more to upgrade

Been a timeshare owner with Seasons Holidays for 20 years. The apartments have gradually become more run down and booking more difficult, then just before Christmas we were told we couldn’t holiday in Laugharne anymore. We feel really let down!

We're exactly the same. They have made it virtually impossible for us to book when we want as the newer members can book 18 months in advance - we can only book 12months in advance.

I suspect that we'll be getting notification to say that we won't be able to get in to Burn Park, now that "luxury lodges " have changed the name and put extra lodges on the site.

When we joined we had the choice of all the resorts, including Portugal.

I have no complaints with the accommodation..we've enjoyed many holidays in most of the resorts. But to exclude us as soon as they upgrade is not the way to treat long standing members.

It was our money that helped to pay for the upgrades.

We feel cheated , angry and sad.

Seasons Holidays Four red weeks

in august 2001 we attended a seminar at Bude in cornwall the representative was asked if it was time share he said no to the point were he called his supervisor who said no it holiday ownership not time share. so we had a discussion we would purchase one red week. the carrot had been dangled it was a free holiday in Eiland at knocktoffer abbey so i went back into the seminar and said right where do i pay he said we will be InTouch with an invoice this cost £6500 with 67years to pass it on to our sons after that we spent another fortnight holiday in Spain at Foresthill's at estaponia where we decided to purchase another week once again she accepted a cheque from me for another £5950.00 for thev second red week. After that we decided to spread our wings the next we decided to go to Portugal to a hotel at alpinus where we purchased another red week after that we decided to try a local place in wales at lemurines where we purchased the forth red week costing £6000.00 and the final red week back in Spain at Foresthill's costing another £8450.00 hence the forth red week at no time was time share mentioned we found out about it and was in the following year IE 2007 when a letter arrived stating reinstatement of membership plus unpaid maintenance fees 2007 and 2008 plus reinstatement of membership total cost was £3462.48 check made payable to seasons holidays plc at laugharne park well considering we had already spent £27550.00 we decided to not bother at that point i decided to just wright to Wendy Cole membership Services who did not bother to answer so since then we have tried to get our money back but no they dont want to know. we have now employed Huxley Zimmerman & Brand to get our money back.

Yours truly

D.J.WATSON

Desired outcome: To get my money back plus compensation for all the heartache caused

Seasons Holidays Laugharne

Hi,

We have owned a sleep 4 weeks in Laugharne since 2001 and bought another week in 2007 and exchanged one of them in 2012 for Keys in Lanzarote.
They have made loads of false promises over these years, but from 2012 to now they keep moving the goal posts without even contacting us on many of the rule changes

Originally, family and friends could stay using our reduced prices. Originally we could take dogs, within weeks that changed.
They were going to build new additional resorts in Turkey, Malta, Gran Canaria, Portugal, Fuerteventura, Cyprus to name but a few.

They told us they had bought the County Hotel in Bath, that only adult members could stay, then that totally changed.
They have used our money (existing members) to refurbish Laugharne, and now despite us owning a week in Laugharne, they are now telling us we have to be Keys owners at Laugharne to be able to use it.

This is not on, they keep moving the goal posts to suit them with less and less availability for existing members, they are happy taking holiday payments from the public on one-off holidays, against their existing members.
Now they expect us to pay £100 refundable deposit for breakages. We haven't had to do that previously.

We bought in the UK because we thought we would be better protected. It doesn't appear that we are protected properly.
Is there a group where we can complain as a group?

Desired outcome: The promises made at the time of purchase to be upheld.

There is a seasons holidays owners community group on Facebook which has been set up due to the way they have treated their members. Worth a look

We are in the same position and to add to your points above, I was today (25th Jan 2023) told that I wasn't eligible to use their privilege exchange scheme (which I have used in the past). It feels like Seasons are trying to put the squeeze on original members and limit access to their resorts. I did take the option of a zoom call with them to discuss the Laugharne closure, but it was a sales call for "keys" during which they were trying to sell a share in a lodge at Clowance that valued the lodge at £1.75 million pounds!

I have contacted the Seasons Owners Consultative Committee, and they are meeting with Seasons on the 16th February. I have told SOCC that I'm happy for my contact details to be shared with any other members who feel aggrieved by Seasons stance at Laugharne (or any other matter). Mr S Powell

Seasons Holidays Stay away

Hello
I received a letter from seasonsholidays.com last month (over 4 weeks ago) saying I had won a membership to seasonsholidays worth £3750. I was asked to pay an annual management fee of £390 which they claim all seasonsholidays members pay. I ignored the letter.

They have just written to me again saying they were very surprised I did not claim the prize and have offered to pay 50% of the annual management fee leaving me with a fee of £195 to take advantage of one of their resorts at a fraction of the normal prices.

Their website looks genuine (www.seasonsholidays.com), but I'm not sure yet if I will follow up ... but I was just wondering if anyone else has come across seasonsholidays and whether or not they are genuine ?

Seasons Holidays scammers have changed their name

See these very well-seasoned Scammers have dropped the Club from their title. The reason is that there are so many complaints documented against them. But I am onto them these filthy ### who scam and hurt people. Parasites all of them. Look into Holiday club scams and Club Seasons and you will see that they have been prosecuted in the courts and lost many times, mainly in the West Country of the U.K.
Read my reviews on Club Seasons and don't get caught out.
If you have been already, then e-mail me at the complaints board and I will tell you what to do to get shot of this horrible organization.

After being invited to seasons holidays in forest hills I unfortunately got sucked in to buying a weeks timeshare on credit with a company called barklays partnership who provide thier finance option, I paid £5000 over a 15 year period and maintenance fees that kept rising yearly in the end I couldn't afford to pay the exorbident fees so asked if I could stop paying they agreed if I paid a year in advance up front which I did . I took out the loan for the time share in 2007 I still owe £3000 with no timeshare to use . I feel very foolish signing up to this scam and out of pocket by at least 13, 000 pounds . I had 4 holidays with them in total which were second rate . I have egg on my face and they are laughing all the way to the bank . Yours disappointed Mr Edward Hodge .

@seasonsholidays a timeshare in everything but name. Don't be conned into an ownership package. It is a con and you will be lucky to get your desired dates. Only leaving interval world as a last resort. Ex director Rod told us a pack of lies.
