This company is a fraud and engages is unethical business practices. I tried to cancel their service by contacting my credit card company to inform them of theunscrupulous business conduct, and they agreed to credit the sale. I thought I was rid of this fly-by-night company, when all along they were setting a trap for my credit card company on how to rebill me $599 again, 3 months later, for a service they lied about. Their rep lied, the company is dishonest, and they lied to my credit card company... so much for their statement about being a company with integrity and professionalism. If this were the case, they wouldn't have had a problem with me cancelling their sale, especially after their customer care rep agreed to a refund! But she didn't write that in her "notes". It is evident that this company spends more time chasing after business it has lost, than business it acquires basesd on its good name. Just look at all the complaints on the internet against this company as a "scam" type business. If Jason Tremblay, CEO, really is interested in meliorating issues with dissatisfied customers, like me, it would be in his best interest to refund my sale, and not pursue trying to get my money. This is Oct. 2009 and I have just been rebilled from June 10, 2009 - Jason, if your company were ethical, when I cancelled, you would have graciously honored the refund, not hammered my credit card company for 3 months in an attempt to get $599 back from me. Shyster's shake down their victims, and that is what I feel yourcompany is doing to me. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, who stated their familiarity with this unethical company; I also have filed a 6 page complaint with the New Hampshire Attorney General, and the National BBB and am looking for one in the State of New Hampshire. Additionally I have contacted the State Troopers, and will continue pursuit with my credit card company to credit this scam of a sale. Although we are in recessionary times, this is no way to conduct professional business. Further, this company is inept that can't follow its own policy, which is the Advertiser Content, of its own "terms & conditions" where they outline how the customer is to supply them with info on what they are to advertise... they breached their own terms & conditions. All they want is $599 and no further responsibility at all. They add new meaning to the phrase "Caveat Emptor" (buyer beware). I am furious that this type of company is permitted to do business on the internet where so many people have been scammed, and now me. The police told me to type "Is sellmytimesharenow.com a scam" into my google search bar and see what came up ... oh my gosh! What a surprise. Try /link removed/ and you will find them there too. Don't fall victim to this hustle. Someone help. Please let me know what you have done to get your money back from this company. I need restitutiion.

Working Girlz,

My name is Jason Tremblay, CEO of Sell My Timeshare NOW. I have looked into your specific situation and am surprised to see that you have taken your complaint to an online forum without contacting Sell My Timeshare NOW first. The only message we have from you relates to wording that you wanted placed in your advertisement. When you agreed to contract for a service and provided your credit card to do so, it would seem to any company that you wanted us to provide the service. Expressing yourself in this fashion and contesting the payment via your credit card company, rather than working with our Customer Care department, does not seem to be an indication of your desire to sell your timeshare.

SellMyTimeshareNOW.com is the fastest growing resale company in the industry, because our service works. We provide a number of services to help timeshare owners sell their units. We can never promise that a buyer will want to pay what you desire, but we are able to give your timeshare the best internet coverage available. Approximately $1 million in offers are made through our site each day to rent or buy timeshares.

In your situation, Sell My Timeshare NOW did not have a chance to assist you. You quickly contested the credit card charge without letting us know. Once you have taken that step, we are only able to respond to the credit card company. We did that and your credit card company ruled in favor of SellMyTimeshareNOW.

We did not charge your credit card twice. Your credit card company held the payment for the advertisement of your timeshare until the company decided in our favor. At that time the credit card company returned the money to us.

We feel that SellMyTimeshareNOW could have assisted you with your timeshare, had you given us a chance. Jason Tremblay
CEO, SellMyTimeshareNOW.com

SCAM ARTIST

This company is a joke. One of the worst offenders of running the up front fee scam. For years this company has been charging up front fees to its clients and has ripped of millions.

Now the industry is changing and the attorney general is really coming after companies like theirs they try to cover themselves by changing from an up-front fee companies to a brokerage company.

This guy Jason is a joke he is a huge scam artist. I read somewhere he even had his mother go work for a relative of hers who owned a timeshare resale company and have her steal all there corporate information that they then used to start Sell My Timeshare Now.

Since 2003 they have been an up-front fee scam. Now That companies are being shut down they are changing to a brokerage company. To little to late. They are trying to save face and they hopefully will be one of the companies shut down.

They took my fee and I never heard back from them again. Shame on me!

So now that they are a brokerage firm does that mean all the clients like me they ripped of with up-front fees will now get there money back and they will now sell our units on a commission basis?

Sellmytimeshrenow is a company practice misleading sale with fake promises. Their salesman promised whatever takes to make sale and afterwards, customer only can contact customer service speciallist which using refund policy to decline my request.
They promised they will sent me marketing data to show me how many click and they will give me updates on my timeshare renting... salesman claim they did lots of renting with my timeshare company, with good reputation of my timeshare and good price, he promised "everything looks way to go, It should rent out VERY soon." But it never rented, my price already decreased, no marketing data at all, no followed up call as your saleman promised.

I already filed BBB complain after I talked to their customer service ladies... I believe they all are well trained theives. No feeling shame for what they do!

I just got a call from sell my timeshare now after filling out a form online that I wanted to sell my timeshare. They called me this morning and they told me how much they thought my timeshare was worth, and said they could list it but wanted an upfront cost of 499.00. I told him that seemed like a lot for just listing my timeshare. He said it would normally be 900.00 but because my timeshare was listed with shell management in Hawaii and they do business with them that he was giving me a discount. Then I go on this scam site about their company and see that 499.00 was what they normally charge. So, right there he was lying to me. His name is Germaine Young. Do you know anything about this guy? Also I got a call from Timeshare Worth but told him I couldn't talk. I told Germaine that I wanted to do some research on his company, and he told me that his company is outstanding and listed with the better business bureau. I would appreciate some feedback about this situation.
