I purchased a one time purchase for a dna analysis on this site. They took two payments same day... And than placed me in a yealry membership paid monthly. Deceptive yes.. As even the order history does not show the payments they took for december, janary of 2024 and than another today.. February 25, 2025. I even am looking for the original purchase invoice and I received none via email from them.. Only a welcome to sequencing. I have no invoice that was sent to outline my purchase the original.. Why two transations.. Split.. Deceptive.. Than no invoice to show the amounts they took out later.. Not in their oder history nor sent to me via email. Deceptive practices.. No need..
Claimed loss: 157.00 canadian in total...
Desired outcome: refund of my money via cheque addressed to me Charmaine St. Croix as now I have to have a new card sent to prevent them from further taking my money from my bank account.

I thought I was purchasing a one time thing with sequencing. I find out I was billed twice the same day... and they billed me December, January and now February.. $57 plus... each time for a year yearly membership.. which I never wanted and never understood what happened.
the site constantly says.. upgrade.. upgrade to what? I though I had purchased the one time.. thing.. for analysis.. which was only apparently 1% of my genome anyway... watch out for this site.. use a card that's not permanent.. as they bill for stull and it doesn't even show on the .. order history but comes out of the bank anyway... just caught it today what they are doing.. sad really these companies can make so much money but why be deceptive about it.. terrible...
