Dishonest
Dishonest. This service station tried to charge me almost $2K for unnecessary repairs, which could have harmed my car. A trustworthy local business fixed a simple hose leak for only $300. I phoned them to understand why the invoice listed parts at over $400, when their real cost was only $30-40. They couldn't explain it and said the costs were for a "kit," which is not true. They also billed me around $400 per hour for labor on the invoice!
Service Street was my go-to place for car maintenance
Service Street was my go-to place for car maintenance. Just a few months ago, I took my car there to get it checked out. When the person at the location called me with the repair cost (even though he was on vacation when I dropped off the vehicle), I declined. He got really angry and when I told him I was picking up my car, he said it wasn't running at all. This didn't make any sense to me since I had just bought new tires and drove the car from another city. I had to call AAA to tow the vehicle back to me on 11/16/22. When I finally got my car back, it was damaged and nobody is returning my calls. I am really disappointed and shocked at how they have treated me. I will be looking into my options for taking further action.
I called Brian at Service Street on Scenic Hwy in Snellville, Ga
I called Brian at Service Street on Scenic Hwy in Snellville, Ga. I asked him if he had time to do a wheel alignment for me since they closed in two hours. He said yes, just bring my vehicle. But when I got there, Brian said his technician had already left for the day. This was rude because the shop was open for another hour and a half. I wasted gas driving there and risked wrecking my car since the alignment was off. This was bad business and an apology doesn't fix it. Shake my head.
I was a customer for years at this business
I was a customer for years at this business. I had went for an oil change, new owner named Adam came out after my oil change and basically told me to park my car and not drive it. I was then told that it was misfiring ( not on all cylinders ) and needed a spark plug & ignition coil repair. I asked for a quote and it came back in the $800.00 range. I explained I was not working and then he directed me to 2 separate links that could provide financing. I SPECIFICALLY said if it was a credit check I would not qualify. He assured me ( and another employee was sitting right there ) no credit would be pulled. I took him at his word and applied on both links they provided. I was declined and did not do the repair. I got 4 other quotes for the exact same job and all came in at half the amount. I then received an email form the company they said would not pull credit and in fact, it was a total lie and they did pull credit. Very wrong, very unethical and it has now put me in a more difficult credit position than I was in.
This is my second time using Service Street SNELLVILLE
This is my second time using Service Street SNELLVILLE. I wasn't very happy after having a transmission placed last year. After having the transmission placed in my car, it began making a squeaking sound. Well, I decided to bring it back to them for the squeaking, but most importantly, I needed some additional repairs. I paid almost $500 for repairs, including a new battery. After having the car for a week, I finally received a call to pick up my car. Car was picked up yesterday at 5:30pm and driven home straight into the garage. This morning at 7 am, after placing my infant in her seat, I got into the driver's seat only to have a car that would not start. I decided to check under the hood to see what was going on. I found that someone was negligent and forgot to tighten the bolt (unsure of name) that holds the battery in place. When I called, I was told that if I could get it back up there, they can take a look. Their lack of attention to detail and neglect caused me to miss an entire day of work. I work in healthcare as a nurse, so calling out last minute for a simple mistake on their end caused big issues for not only my pockets but my job as well. I do not recommend and would like to be compensated for my time and money lost.

I've been using Service Street Auto for little over 4 years for oil changes and alignments on multiple vehicles (I live about 45 minutes away from the shop and I pass *** a few auto shops along the way).
Last year, I bought a used vehicle and brought it to Service Street for an alignment. They pointed out that the front end needed replacing due to wear and tear and quoted roughly $1,900 to replace the inner and outer tie rods, lower ball joints, upper control arms, and in the same sentence told me if I came back on a different day when it wasn't busy they would work on the price some.
I used to work at an auto shop and decided to replace the components myself after being told by multiple employees of Service Street that they are higher priced then the dealerships. After the repairs were made, I took the vehicle back to have it properly and fully aligned. When asked if I had the repairs done, I told them "yes, and that it needed a Thrust alignment not just the toe adjusted" they said, "no problem." I also purchased a (5) pack of oil changes from Service Street as I always do.
After the work was performed, the alignment wasn't spot on. I was in a rush to get to work so I didn't bother bringing the vehicle back. Roughly 2k miles later I took the vehicle back to Service Street and paid to have another alignment performed. After this alignment was performed, the steering wheel was not centered, and I had to bring the vehicle back to get it corrected.
I have driven the vehicle another 2k miles and now the upper control arm is so loose, I can grab the tire with the car on the ground and move the entire assembly by shaking it. I called Service Street and asked if it's covered under warranty (I am assuming that they are preforming a full and proper alignment each time) I am informed that it will not be warrantied due to pot holes, curbs, and such. I say, "That's fine, I still need an alignment." and I brought the vehicle back to Service Street. They quoted me an additional $75 to tighten the control arm when that's SUPPOSED to be part of the alignment.
At this point, I've already paid for two alignments and they are not providing a full alignment so, I decline the service and ask for my vehicle back along with a PRORATED refund for the unused oil changes I have paid for but haven't used.
I am told, "We cannot do anything in store, and you have to contact corporate." I ask to speak to the manager, and I am told "one is not present." I ask for the corporate number and am told, "There isn't one" and I am given an email address.
I leave the shop and look up the corporate information online and behold, there is a phone number. I sent an email, called the phone number, left a message, and was contacted roughly 20-30 minutes later. I attempt to explain the situation to the manager on the phone and I am told "Well, you replaced the components yourself and any other shop would just do the alignment and not address the loose control arm." I am baffled as that's exactly what they have done twice already.
I ask if the person I am speaking to is local, not knowing if they are familiar with the shop I have been getting service at, and I informed him that I'm waiting on a phone call from corporate. His response is, "I AM CORPORATE, and if you want to come back up to the shop, we can finish the conversation in person." He says, "We will not refund the money for services that you have already paid for that haven't been done because it's a promotion."
They have offered this "Promotion" of an oil change (5) pack since I became a customer over 4 years ago and I am not asking for the entire amount refunded because I have already used one of the oil changes. I am only asking for the value of the services yet rendered. I have put 7 calls into "corporate" since then and each time I have stated I am trying to let them handle it "in house" and each time I am told that I will be contacted but it does not happen. So, after 4 years of being a customer, I have zero faith and even less trust in the company to ever touch my vehicles again. My words of advice is, if you consider using Service Street in Marietta, be ready to over pay for services, not receive the full service for which you paid, never be contacted in the event of an issue, and if you decide to quit using them not to expect any type of refund for prepaid and unused services.

I brung my 2016 *** Pilot to Service Street 'cause it was jerkin' and stutterin' while I was drivin'. I told the mechanic what was goin' on and they did some testin' and gave me a list of things they thought would fix it. But dang, they messed up and dropped some screws in the engine. Now the problem ain't fixed, it's even worse than before! And they keep tellin' lies 'bout the services they did. Can't even prove they actually did what they said. They lied 'bout a *** rep reprogrammin' the computer and lied 'bout everythin' else too.

Date: 05/03
Invoice: 22174
Invoice total: $742
I had my car repaired at Service Street, and I must say, I am not satisfied with their service. They claimed to have fixed my car after a diagnostic, which cost me $149.73. However, I believe I deserve a credit of $149.73 on my invoice or a refund check.
During the repair, they replaced a tire sensor but informed me that they couldn't finish the job because they lacked the correct software or something to remove the codes. This left me quite disappointed. I decided to take my car to the Acura dealership instead, where they replaced the tire hub and cleared the warning lights on my dashboard. It makes me wonder why Service Street couldn't diagnose a simple tire hub issue.
Furthermore, there were other problems with my car that Service Street kept telling me to go to the dealership for. They should have advised me to do so right from the start.
Overall, I am not happy with the service I received from Service Street. They should have been able to diagnose and fix the tire hub issue, and their communication regarding other problems was lacking. I hope they can address these issues and improve their service in the future.

I had some work done on my Kia *** at Service Street
I had some work done on my Kia *** at Service Street. They said the valve cover gasket was leaking AGAIN, even though it was just fixed here two months ago. They claimed it didn't show up in my history until after they worked on it. How is that possible? So, I called them after checking my receipts, and suddenly they blamed me for not noticing it. Seriously, what? I won't be going back to this place. Who knows how many other times they've taken advantage of me. I work really hard for my money, and these mistakes are costing me hundreds of dollars. And to top it off, after I left, nobody mentioned that my transmission was slipping until I drove away and my car started jerking. The original work was done on 12/9, and now, just two months later, the part is leaking again because of their technicians' work? That's just crazy.
On 09/24, I got my car towed to Service Street's place on 2039 Scenic Hwy N to fix my battery cable
On 09/24, I got my car towed to Service Street's place on 2039 Scenic Hwy N to fix my battery cable. Normally, this job costs around $30-$120 on average. I chose this place 'cause I couldn't find any other mechanic nearby. On 09/25, they called me and said the repair would cost over $400. I was shocked, so I went there to talk to 'em. They agreed to lower the price to $328.62, after taxes. It's still way more than what other mechanics charge, but I needed my car pronto for work. They said they finished the job, so I paid up and checked their work. What I saw made me mad. The cable was all crumpled up and crimped, with no soldering, no heat shrink, no protection at all, and a bunch of wires sticking out. When I got home, my car started idling and running really rough. I got error codes for a messed-up ECU and O2 sensor. The shop says it's not their fault. They haven't responded to my complaints.
On 2/21/22, I noticed my car was acting up and the check engine light came on while I was driving
On 2/21/22, I noticed my car was acting up and the check engine light came on while I was driving. So, I took it to this place for service. They checked it out and said the problem was a busted ignition coil caused by an oil leak, and the spark plugs needed changing too. They charged me a total of $1432.22 for fixing it. I picked up my car the next day, 2/22/22, and paid for the repairs. But on 2/24/22, the same issues came back and my car wouldn't start after it was parked at my wife's job. So, Service Street had to tow it to their shop on 2/25/22. They checked it again and said the problem was because I used low-grade fuel, E-85, when my car can only handle E-87 or higher. They charged me $820.72 for fixing it and kept my car for the next 3 days to drain and flush the fuel system. At that time, my car was my only way to get around, so my wife and I had to rent a car. I filed a claim with RaceTrac to get reimbursed for the damage to my car, but they investigated and found no evidence that it was their fault (no other complaints from customers, no issues with their systems). Now, I want Service Street to refund me $820.72 for the second repair because they misdiagnosed the problem. I also want them to reimburse me $361.10 for the rental car. Their misdiagnosis caused me extra days of inconvenience while they fixed my car. I have all the documents and receipts to support my case. If we can't settle this, I'll take legal action.
In December , I went to this shop to get my vehicle (2008 Jeep Wrangler) serviced because my horn wasn't working
In December , I went to this shop to get my vehicle (2008 Jeep Wrangler) serviced because my horn wasn't working. My vehicle also had a gas smell, so they checked it out and found a gasket that needed to be replaced. In February 2022, the vehicle started smelling of gas again, so I returned to the same shop to inquire about a tune-up. They also noticed the gas smell. I informed them that they had previously fixed something related to this issue, but they said they would have to charge me a fee to investigate further. I declined their services because they wanted to charge me $700 for the tune-up and to look into the repair that was needed because of their previous work. Instead, I went to another shop to have my vehicle inspected. The mechanic there informed me that there were missing bolts and screws where the new part was installed, which caused damage to the fuel pressure line. They advised me not to drive the vehicle due to this issue. I reached out to Service Street to explain the situation, but they accused me of being negative. On 2/17/22, they towed my car back to Service Street and said they needed to order a part from the dealer, which could take 2-5 days. They admitted that it was their fault and agreed to repair it for free. On 2/23/22, I called for an update on my vehicle since I hadn't heard anything from them. The person I spoke to said they would call me the next day with an update. However, I never received a call, so I called an hour before closing. They informed me that they had sent out the wrong part and were waiting for a call back. It has been a week since they took my car, and I still don't have transportation for my two kids. I hope this issue can be resolved as soon as possible.
