sydney to hobart race coverage
Every year it seems to be getting worse.
Terrible commentary and the structure of the footage was all over the place.
Didnt get to see any of the important onboard action when it should be shown. Ad breaks at wrong times.
Id like to assist with making it better, i have a vast knowledge in sailing media.

christmas movies
Hi I have 6 kids in holiday Season
What happened to years ago when channel seven used put Christmas movies leading up to Christmas, I mean old classics, like the catholic navity science cartoons, and frosty the snowman movies, home alone Christmas movies etc .now channel put on tv
Is [censored], sport and sport, not everyone can afford to take kids to the movies .or hire movies.
I'm not racist but if those muslims complaining about Christmas movies being played .well they should change the channel and respect other religion.Theres alot of Catholics in society as well ..
The kids like the old classic Christmas movies dont ruin their Christmas. And that's the way they learn about thier religion.
I hope you can do something and pull a thew strings and put Christmas movies this Christmas would be a nice surprise for the kids.
Have s nice Christmas and God bless

Love your coverage. However ... vision impaired viewers need more contrast in the info stripes across the bottom of the screen.
I'm watching The Heat play Sydney Sixers, and have great difficulty reading what's written in that stripe because there's not enough contrast between the Heat colours and the white lettering you use.
Surely a simple fix is available, so please get something done before the season progresses too far.
Thanks in anticipation. Bernie Clark.
cricket coverage
Once again channel 7 no big bash foxtel only some of us can't afford foxtel every game live crap no game today no one day games on 7 foxtel I'm sorry but I hate this you are the worse thing to happen to cricket in this country if your going to say every game live let's have it and stop thinking about money and worry more about people before you dont have a ordinance at all
boxing day test your signal was useless couldnt see it all day dropping out all the time pull your socks up
armchair experts
Last night, I accidentally and unfortunately started watching the show Armchair Experts on 7Two.
I have never complained about any show on TV, EVER, yet I cannot resist telling you how appalling that show was last night, and I assume it's the same every time it's on. Two guys, lounging back in chairs, DRESSED IN SHORTS with legs wide open in what is usually described and manspread. I am no prude, but the look, is totally unbecoming of any professional TV program. I'm amazed it is not on Social Media and if it was, I can imagine what outrage it would be causing with the usual outrage community.
Channel 7, you are better than that.

amazon commercials
I am writing you and several others regarding this matter
Channel 7, AMazon commercials airing and displaying two women kissing in the commercial. Several other commercials are advertising with Gay people kissing and advertisements that are completely and utterly grotesque! It is a violation of my human rights! I do not have to accept this! I have children and grandchildren that are being exposed to this and they were raised as Catholic's the Bible says THIS IS A SIN! Man shall not lay with man and women shall not lay with women! And I DO NOT WANT MY CHILDREN EXPOSED TO THIS!
IF YOU WANT TO RUN COMMERCIALS LIKE THIS, then RUN A CHANNEL THAT SOLICITATION IS ONLY FOR GAY/LESBIAN PEOPLE AND THEY CAN WATCH IT ALL DAY! I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THIS DISGUSTING STUFF WHILE I AM WATCHING TV!
FIX IT!

Bah hum bug Channel Seven.
So you have made the executive decision to televise Test Cricket at 12 noon everyday, replacing Christmas Movies.
Not everyone likes Cricket.
So now I have switched off Sunrise, you've axed Today Tonight, and now you've replaced Christmas movies with Test Cricket. Well done management and Kerry Stokes.
Merry Christmas, in case you've forgotten, tis the Season...
all tv programs on the 7 networks
Why is there so much rubbish on TV these days ? All we get are reality shows, cooking shows, game shows, horse racing and more of the same type of rubbish. Whatever happened to good quality viewing, all you seem to be catering to are low brow, unintelligent viewers, there are many other people in Australia that enjoy quality programs, unfortunately you are not showing them. You are not the only ones either, both 9 and 10 are guilty of the same idiocy, it's about time you woke up to yourselves and started showing programs that don't fit the current mould. No wonder piracy is rife in this country, what else can the average person do, not everyone can afford to throw money away on streaming TV. I hope someone with intelligence actually reads this and makes the effort to do something about what I have said.
advertisement didi perth waaah
It really is doing my head in now.
I understand saturating the market to introduce a new product.
But hey... I've had enough of this ad now. Too much really.
Every ad break, not just once but often twice and even three times!
All day long...
Enough is enough.
Give us a break!
I am an educated mature adult and feel like I am being treated like an idiot.
The only idiot here is the American visitor who is treating an Aussie driver like an idiot!
all shows classification
Hi
There are a lot of shows on TV now with same sex scenes in them. Like home and away for example.
There should be a classification for this as I do not want my children ages 8 and 10 to watch.
A lot of show now you same sex couples kissing or something else.
Yet now you don't see male and a female together. Why is this is it a brain washing the more you see of it. Makes it natural.
So please there there should be a classification for this
I am sick of all soaps on tv ramming gay and lesbian kissing scenes down our children’s throats As a Christian person why do My and millions of people like me have no say on what my children see on these sick soap story lines . A gay free soap used to be Home and Away but now even it has succumbed to the liberal nutcases we have in western societies. The gay people of our society are so determined to feel normal they want our children to be brainwashed from birth into accepting its normal to insert a mans penis in another mans rectum. It’s totally disgusting and completely against nature.
If you people think that you will boost Home and Aways ratings with introducing lesbians and gays you are badly mistaken and have ruined one of the best soaps on tv shame on the producers for doing this
cricket coverage
Hi, there doesn't seem to be a compliments submission form, so I apologise for submitting a complaint.
Thank you Channel 7 your cricket commentary team are wonderful.
There is a wonderful blend of career cricket journos like Tim, James and Ali with career cricketers like Punter, Flem and Slats, who share one defining characteristic; class.
Thank you also for saving us from a future without Shane Warne.
Kind regards
Adam Sainthill
Everybody has likes & dislikes.
I like most of the commentators, some more than others.
However, James Brayshaw does not qualify as a commentator in my opinion.
His style of "talking" is just constant self promoting drivel at the expense of others.
Be it football or cricket, James Brayshaw is not liked by me, whenever I here his voice, I either turn off the TV, or mute it and listen to the ABC radio.
Please give us consumers a vote about commentator selection, and have us rate the commentators (on a scale out of 10). Let us, the consumers have a voice.
Some would love James, some not.
Some would love BT, some not
Some would love Bruce or Tim, some not
Please, please lets the views select via a rating system which commentators are best.
Thank you

advertisement for channel 7 news
It is in prime time and it is an advertisement for Channel 7.
It shows the koala that was rescued from the bushfires. The koala is badly burnt and squealing in pain.
It is confronting vision with no warnings.
ACMA Reference: BM-5866
Dear Peter Graham
RE: Your complaint about Channel 7 news ads featuring an injured koala
The ACMA received a complaint from you on 22 November 2019, raising compliance issues with the Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice 2015 (revised 2018) (the Code).
You raised concerns that images and sounds of a badly burnt koala rescued from bushfires was distressing and should have included a warning. We appreciate that this matter is of concern to you.
Under the co-regulatory regime, the broadcaster is given the opportunity to try to resolve a Code complaint before the ACMA becomes involved, other than in exceptional cases.
Information about the Code complaints process and how to complain to Seven is attached.
If, after complaining to Seven, you receive a response you are not happy with or you do not receive a response within 60 days, you can then refer your complaint to the ACMA, quoting the reference BM-5866.
We hope this information assists you.
betting ads
I am disgusted with all the betting ads that you play between show you run at least (two to three adds) each time.
These ads should not be allowed on tv at all.
One minute you are reporting on people struggling with a gambling problem then in the next add you are showing two / three gambling ads - this I find very hypocritical and problematic. To ban fast food ads during peak hours and alcohol ads during sport for similar reasons makes no sense. These ads must be restricted on the same basis. It is deductive.
I will be making a written complaint to my local mp about these adds
because i know that this tv station and other stations will do nothing about it as it is all about the money
(Very angry viewer )
advertising re them being home of cricket!
They are saying they are the home of cricket but have sold us out in that I cannot watch the T20 International matches. Also we are missing out on the One Day Internationals. At least Ch9 had the One Dayers free to air. It is disgusting and just not fair at all. Why have you sold out so many of cricket loving people? I'm a pensioner and can't afford Foxtel or Kayo. All cricket matches should be available on free to air television. Also Cricket Australia is it just the money in the bank you are only interested in and to hang with a vast amount of cricket loving fans here in Australia.
Well said mate. All my friends and i dont watch Ch7 anymore because of this reason.
news
We are sick and tired of news items about the protests in Melbourne. If anybody landed here from anywhere on the planet, they would think the POLICE were to blame. Discusting 1-sided stories. Why don't you show the truth about what mobile phones, clothes and many things that the protestors are using require MINING. They are so dumb which makes your News look stupid.
Channel 9 news for now!
Regards and good-bye channel 7

cricket coverage t20 series current not live and free - clearly not available to everyone
Love Telethon - Ric and Sue etc - but yours and my definition of 'live, free and for everyone ... needs to go the Ad (Advertising) Standards
T20 series against Sri Lanka October 2019 - advertised in The Sunday Times on 27 October 2019 (same day as the first game) as 'Live, Free and For Everyone ...' no coverage for the free ... surely not in the fine print in a double page spread of all the cricket that I am not going to see 'live, free ...' Channel 7 cannot be allowed to get away with this for our national game - we are trying to wean off Channel Nine ...after many successful years ...
urgent attention news report showing dead body inappropriate content
I am complaining about Channel 7, Sydney showing a close up of Ivan Milat's face after he died on 27 October 2019.
In the promotional video for Channel 7 news they broadcast as part of their news around was shown as part of their "latest news" around 2.07pm on Sunday an image of Ivan Milat's face and he was dead.
No matter what you Channel 7 thinks of Ivan Milat members of the public should not have to see dead bodies on their TV screens. The image was particularly offensive as it was a close up and you could see there was no life in Milat's eyes.
Showing dead bodies is poor form. I find it particularly offensive and it is part of my cultural beliefs not to do this. Aboriginal culture does not permit images such as these.
Can you please do something to prevent Channel 7 from behaving so irresponsibly and from screening these images on free to air TV both now and in the future.
Yours sincerely
Sharon Corso

horse racing and advertising of betting on
I find it disgusting that channel 7 has endless ladbroke betting ads regarding horse racing!
Horse racing is increasingly being revealed as a cruel and inhumane activity. To encourage the watching and betting on of this activity is inhumane and demeaning to Channel 7.
People wishing to watch your channels programs should not be subjected to continual advertising surrounding horse racing. It is a cruel "sport" and should not exist in today's more enlightened times.
Please STOP advertising if any kind to do with this and discontinue your racing channel.
This is the right and humane thing to do!
Cruelty to animals demeans all humans and channel 7 should not want to participate in this.

7 two programming
Meet the Press (USA NBC Network Sunday News Program hosted by Chuck Todd) has not been shown on the previous 2 Mondays (7th and 14th October) on 7 Two. Program has been re-broadcast at 10:30am Monday time slot for many years.
I would like to complain if the broadcast has been cancelled as this is a high quality news information program I appreciated viewing. Why would Seven West Media cancel broadcasting this program?
Please explain the status of Meet the Press Broadcast and provide an explanation if the Broadcast has been canceled.
Thank You
G Hardie

these 'love' shows...
I am genuinely going to stop watching Channel 7 unless it's the footy. I am disgraced by the amount of 'love shows', such as 'Bride and Prejudice' or 'Married at First Sight' etc. I am understanding that other TV channels have different types of shows, but these are the two where I feel the TV channels have overstepped. Nothing comes from these shows. It's not educational, they aren't positive, they aren't doing anything except allowing young viewers watch older women/men bully eachother on the TV. MAFS last year was disgusting, such bullying and bickering. Why set up our nights with such garbage? Why can't we have something educational or useful on TV instead of watching negative filth? For a society with a big emphasis on 'mental health', feeling alone, bickering, feeling judged - these shows make it worse. I understand that people don't need to watch them, but they are EVERYWHERE. I try to avoid them and I see them all the time! What you put on the TV, is all over social media with people talking bad about the people on TV. It generally makes me feel overwhelmed with anxiety because they aren't good shows and only make for [censored] TV, nothing other than that. Fill the time slots with something different. Enough is enough.
