Defective Lens Coating on Chromance Raybans: My Disappointing Experience with Shade Station
I recently bought a pair of awesome Chromance Raybans for about 160 bucks (or quid, as we say in the UK) from Shade Station. First day I strutted my stuff wearing them, I had a fantastic experience. The world around me looked crystal clear, and the colors popped like never before. But then, about a week later, I notice a mysterious "hole" in the lens coating on one of the lenses. I wasn't seeing things, it really was there! I'm not talking about a scratch, but it looked like the coating on the lens was fading away. At first, it was small, but it kept getting worse and worse as days passed. I knew something was wrong, and I hoped Shade Station would help me out.
So, I quickly contacted them. They were kind enough to reply and said that the lens isn't officially under warranty. That got me feeling down in the dumps since I fully expected a satisfactory result for my purchase. Gotta admit, though, that the Shade Station reps were pretty nice. They even took some photos of the lenses and forwarded them to the manufacturer as a courtesy. But here's the thing: I don't really expect much to happen as a result of that.
Now, here I am with a pair of utterly useless sunglasses after wearing them for just two weeks. I don't know about you, but I think that's ridiculous! Honestly, I don't know what went wrong with my Raybans, but I'm convinced they're defective. Maybe the manufacturer will do something to correct the problem, or I might have to transfer them to the Island of Misfit Sunglasses. They might be happy there, who knows?
All in all, I'm bummed out that my amazing sunglasses have turned out to be a bit of a bust. I'm not the kind of guy who wants to spend a ton of money on something that doesn't work properly. I mean, give me a break! I won't let a single bad experience bring me down, though. I'm sure Shade Station has lots of other great products that I would love. I was just unlucky with this one. Nevertheless, I should point out that I will be thinking twice before I buy any other pricey sunglasses from Shade Station in the future.
Shade Station UK: Refusing to Return My Item Despite Their Mistake
So, I ordered these glasses from Shade Station UK (shadestation.co.uk) and unfortunately, they sent me the wrong item. I got in touch with them and they told me to send it back and they would replace it. I did just that on the 30th of November 2022, but due to a strike, they didn't receive my parcel until the 6th of December. By that time, I found out that they had changed administration.
I kindly emailed them and asked them to either resend the correct item or refuse the delivery, as it clearly didn't belong to them and they were refusing to give me a refund or exchange or even return my item that I had paid for in full! I have been trying to contact them, but they keep refusing to send me back my own item that I purchased and they accepted, knowing full well that it belonged to the previous administration's clients!
I even offered to pay for the delivery fee or arrange for a pick-up, but all I get is "we cannot issue you a refund, talk to the bank." So, I spoke to my bank and they contacted Shade Station UK, but they didn't tell the bank that the item was returned. They are dodgy pigs who refuse to send me back my own item that was paid for in full! This is disgustingly horrible behavior!
It's not just about the money, it's about the principles of business, and Shade Station UK clearly lacks them. I am extremely disappointed with their service and will be taking this further.
Shade Station UK Review: Disappointingly Fake D&G Sunglasses
! Bought a D&G sunglass from Shade Station UK and it was such a bummer. Not sure if it was just a bad batch or what, but it was definitely a fake. I mean I had gotten a Gucci from them last year and that was spot-on original, but this was a complete let-down.
First off, lifting it up was like holding a feather! There was no weight to it at all and it just screamed cheap. Then, the cleaning cloth - which is something that should always be there, was missing. I had to go and look for another one in the house.
And then the brand name printed on the carry case and the sunglass cover was not good quality at all. It just got rubbed off so easily, almost as if it was just paper stuck on there! Like come on, it's supposed to be a D&G! You can't have the branding falling off so easily.
To top it off, the carry case was completely different from the one in the photos. I was under the impression that I would be getting a certain look and quality (as shown in the photos), but what I received was totally different and below average.
It's a total cheat, in my opinion. And a pretty expensive one at that. I'm really disappointed and wouldn't recommend Shade Station UK for buying designer sunglasses.
Beware of Fake Headphones from Shadestation UK: A Disappointing Experience
So, I bought these headphones from Shadestation UK and I was so freakin' excited about them, but when they came in the mail, I was super bummed out. They said they were the real deal, but they were definitely knockoffs. The plastic on them was SO cheap-looking and felt like fake plastic you get at a dollar store. I was so disappointed that I had to return them. The return shipping was expensive and annoying, but they did give me my refund pretty quickly so at least there's that. But yeah, I won't be buying from them again. Watch out, folks!
Shade Station UK - A Cautionary Tale for Australian Customers: A Disappointing Experience with Oakley Snow Goggles Delivery
If you're ordering from Shade Station UK and you happen to live in Australia, you might want to reconsider. I placed an order for Oakley Snow Goggles, which I was going to give to my son on his birthday before he went on his snowboarding trip. I even paid an extra $30 AUD for speedy delivery to make sure it would get there in time. But, to my disappointment, the goggles arrived two weeks after his holiday was already over!
I reached out to the company, explaining the situation, but instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they blamed me for giving a PO Box address. However, I was never told that this wasn't acceptable, and they didn't bother contacting me for an alternate address, which I could have easily provided. Even when I finally gave them my street address, it still took another week for the goggles to arrive!
To make matters worse, all they gave me in terms of compensation was a refund for the "speedy delivery" option. It's frustrating to deal with a company that refuses to take responsibility for their mistakes and doesn't offer appropriate compensation for their incompetance.
Shade Station UK Review: Poor Customer Service & Misleading Delivery for US Customers
Shade Station UK is an online retailer operating in the United Kingdom that offers a wide range of sunglasses, eyeglasses and accessories. As an American customer, I had a difficult and frustrating experience with Shade and would advise caution before buying from this merchant if you reside outside the UK.
Back in October 2017, I decided to purchase a pair of prescription sunglasses from Shade Station UK, spending a total of $365 USD. However, the experience went downhill soon after I submitted my order. For several months, Shade contacted me requesting I make modifications to my order, which made it impossible to track the progress or estimate when the product would be ready.
After a long and tedious wait, I finally received my sunglasses but - surprise, surprise - they arrived without prescription and thus were useless for me. When I contacted Shade to rectify the situation, they refused to send me a return shipping label and wanted me to pay for it myself. It's important to note that this fee was not a small sum, adding an extra expense that I hadn't accounted for.
Frustrated by my experience thus far, I contacted customer support at Shade, but my complaints fell on deaf ears. Even after several months of correspondence, they were unwilling to offer me a refund or a discount on future purchases. Fortunately, I was able to place a dispute with my credit card company, and Shade Station eventually gave me a $97 USD credit.
In the end, I had to pay out of my own pocket again - this time, the sum came to $14 USD - to return the merchandise that was misdelivered to me. And even after all of this effort, seven months after I originally placed my order, Shade Station indicated that they had closed the issue and would not refund my return. I was left feeling cheated, frustrated and ripped off.
Overall, I can only give Shade Station UK a low rating based on my negative experience. While the products were of good quality, the lack of customer service and misleading delivery of my order made it a nightmare to deal with them. If you're a US customer considering using Shade Station UK, I would recommend proceeding with extreme caution, because this online store seems to care more about its profit margin than about their customer satisfaction.
Shade Station UK Review: Total Rip-Off, Do Not Buy!
So, I got myself a pair of fancy sunglasses which were quite expensive (probably around £300) from Shade Station UK, unfortunately when I opened the package they came in, I immediately noticed that the hinges were really loose and the frame appeared to have become wider, almost as though someone had worn them before me. To make things worse, whenever I put them on they would just slide straight off my face, which was really annoying! As a result, I got in touch with the company and explained what had happened, they seemed alright at first and told me that I could either get a refund or exchange. I ended up sending the item back to them, but had to pay extra for signed-for delivery (who knew that was a thing?). Then, I waited and waited for a week to hear back from them about my refund, but it turns out the hinges were apparently not faulty at all! They even found two scratches on the item which I'm pretty sure weren't there before (seriously, what a bunch of jokers!). As you can probably guess, they refused to give me a refund and instead are just sending the item back to me. I feel like I've been totally ripped off, wish I'd read some reviews before buying from these cheapskates! Don't waste your money on these guys, total rip-off!
My Horrendous Experience Shopping with Shade Station UK - A Warning
Don't be tempted by their budget-friendly prices, and instead, consider shopping with a more trustworthy and reliable retailer. Initially, I thought I would be one of the lucky few to have a positive experience, even after browsing through a sea of negative reviews. However, I have come to realize that those reviews were accurate and entirely in line with the unpleasant experience I had with Shade Station UK. Frankly speaking, I'm not entirely sure what David and Jocelyn, the owners, are attempting to achieve, but their conduct and business approach are horrendous.
To their credit, I will say this - the delivery was swift, and my prescription lenses were correct. Unfortunately, that is where my positive experience ended. The product I received had misleading photos and resembled either a counterfeit, a cheap imitation of a rejected model, or a pre-owned product. In all honesty, I was so disappointed that I have decided to not even pursue a refund, as I can only imagine how frustrating and lengthy the refund process would be, based on the experiences of customers who have gone through it.
I hate to say it, but if you are considering shopping at ShadeStation, I would advise against it. Save yourself the time, effort, and frustration and look elsewhere for more reliable options.
Shade Station UK's Poor Customer Service Cost Me Over $500
I bought a new pair of sunnies with prescription lenses from Shade Station UK. When I got them, they were tiny! They were definitely not the large sized frames that I asked for. As a big guy who always goes for the largest size, this was a real let-down. Unfortunately, when I contacted Shade Station UK to see if they could help me out, they weren't having any of it. They flat-out refused to believe that the mistake was on their end and insisted that I must have made a mistake. So, I had to pay over $100 to send back the small sunnies, which had the wrong lenses in them anyway! Then, I had to fork out even more money to buy the right size frame, which included buying new prescription lenses. You can imagine my frustration when they then told me that the larger size was out of stock for MONTHS. I made my original purchase back in June and my sunnies didn't arrive until NOVEMBER. The kicker? Because of Shade Station UK's mistake, those $300 sunnies ended up costing me over $500 in the end. What's more, they didn't make any attempt to accommodate for their mistake. Their "customer service" was totally useless. If you do have any trouble with your order, good luck getting any help from Shade Station UK, because they'll just double down on their poor customer service. I've learnt my lesson and will be shopping elsewhere from now on.
Hidden Fees and Charges at Shade Station UK
I recently purchased a watch from Shade Station UK, and let me tell you, it ended up costing way more than I initially expected. I paid 430 euros for the watch itself, but then had to pay an additional 30% in extra charges, bringing my total cost up to a whopping 560 euros after including VAT, customs duties, and delivery fees from BPost to ensure my product was cleared through customs. All in all, I ended up shelling out an extra 128 euros without even realizing it!
To make things worse, Shade Station doesn't do a great job of making it clear that these extra charges apply. They mention them briefly in the fine print, but let's be real - who actually reads those things? As a result, I was pretty blindsided when I ended up having to pay so much more than expected.
Honestly, I could have saved myself a lot of money if I had just bought the watch directly from the manufacturer. In fact, I would have saved a whopping 60 euros even after factoring in shipping costs. Lesson learned - it's probably best to avoid shopping in the UK altogether if you want to avoid these kind of unexpected fees and charges!
Shade Station UK Review: Stylish Glasses, Faulty Lenses, Hassle Returns
I got some glasses from Shade Station UK and let me tell you, it was a trip. I took a while to find the right ones cause I got a prescription but eventually I was like "yeah, these are the ones". I ordered them in February, but they didn't ship till almost a week later. When I got em, boy they looked great! So stylish and cool. But then I put them on and the lenses were all messed up! It was like trying to read through a pool of fog, I couldn't see nothin'. I was super bummed out cause I was already excited to wear my new shades.
I let em know on March 24th and they said to send em back so they could fix em. I did and it took a while for them to get to the lens maker, which I think was called Essilor. I guess there was a problem with the lenses cause on April 15th Essilor said so and I finally got my money back. But it was a real hassle, let me tell ya. Wasted so much time and energy and it ended up being for nothing. I wouldn't trust Shade Station UK with nothin'. The glasses might look good but what's the use if they don't even work?

Shade Station UK Review: Affordable Designer Shades with Excellent Customer Service
So, I stumbled upon Shade Station UK while looking for a cool pair of designer shades. And boy, was I in for a treat! I found the exact pair I was looking for, and guess what? They were $30 cheaper than what I had seen on other websites. I was over the moon! I quickly added them to my cart and proceeded to checkout.
But then, something strange happened. After entering my payment details via PayPal, the page just kept buffering. I was getting a bit worried, to be honest. I mean, I had just entered my sensitive information, and the page was taking forever to load. What if something went wrong? What if my payment didn't go through?
That's when I decided to read some reviews about Shade Station UK. And let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. Most of the reviews were positive, with customers raving about the quality of the products and the excellent customer service. I felt relieved knowing that I had made the right choice by choosing Shade Station UK.
In the end, I decided to pay a little extra to ensure a better experience. I mean, it's always better to be safe than sorry, right? And I'm glad I did. My shades arrived in perfect condition, and they looked even better in person than they did on the website. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and I would definitely recommend Shade Station UK to anyone looking for high-quality designer shades at an affordable price.
Shade Station UK's Price Match Promise: A Frustrating Experience
So, I bought a watch from Shade Station UK and they said they'd do a price match. We ordered from them because we wanted it next day instead of waiting a few days from another company. When I got the watch, it didn't seem genuine and I wanted to return it in the same condition I received it. But Shade Station UK is giving me a million reasons not to take it back. I even had to open a PayPal case. It's really frustrating.
Disappointing Customer Service and Delayed Delivery from Shade Station UK
I bought some sunglasses from Shade Station UK on the 24th of November. It's been almost a month and I still haven't received them yet. I was getting pretty frustrated so I decided to contact their customer service. After I reached out to them, they finally decided to ship my order. However, it's now the 23rd of December and I still haven't received my sunglasses. I'm pretty disappointed with their customer service. It seems like they're not very helpful at all. I did some research and found out that they might be in administration. I wish I had checked here first before making my purchase. It looks like they only have an average of two stars. I would recommend staying away from Shade Station UK.

Terrible Company: Bankrupt and No Glasses Received Since November 30th, 2022
This company is just terrible. I ordered some glasses way back on November 30th, 2022 and I still haven't gotten them. I just found out that the company went bankrupt on the same day I placed my order! I can't even return the glasses for a refund and I have no idea if they'll ever show up. It's such a waste of money. I would definitely recommend staying away from this company.
Shade Station UK Review: Don't Waste Your Money on Used Products and Poor Customer Service
Shade Station UK ain't worth your money, mate. They might be a bit cheaper than other blokes, but they'll send you a used product. And when you try to return it, they'll make you pay for the postage. Their customer service is rubbish, too. They don't keep their promises, and they don't care about their customers.
I made the mistake of ignoring the other negative reviews, and now I'm out of time and money. I still haven't gotten my refund, and I don't think I ever will. So do yourself a favor and avoid Shade Station UK. You'll thank me later.
Shade Station UK Review: Disappointingly Fake D&G Sunglasses

Warning: Don't Waste Your Money on This Site - Terrible Customer Service and Delivery Time
i ordered from these guys like a month ago and still haven't got my stuff. they said i gotta wait longer and i'm getting real mad. don't waste your money on this site, they'll just make you wait and wait. it's a total rip off.
Shade Station UK: Disappointing order and lack of refund response
So, I ordered some glasses from Shade Station UK, and unfortunately they weren't quite what I expected when they arrived. I sent them back, as you do, but it's been a couple of weeks now and I still haven't seen my refund come through. I've tried calling them, I've tried emailing them, but I just can't seem to get any response from them at all. It's really frustrating, because it feels like they're just not bothered about me or my money. I'm just hoping that they'll sort it out soon, because I can't afford to lose that kind of cash!
Beware of Fakes: My Disappointing Experience with Shade Station UK
I gotta say, I ain't too impressed with Shade Station UK. I took a gamble and ordered myself a pair of Chanel Glasses, but did I ever feel ripped off when those bad boys showed up. Turns out they were total fakes! And to top it all off, there was no model number anywhere to be found on the left arm. What a joke!
I decided to send them back and luckily they gave me back my money, but I gotta say it was still a total waste of my time. Like seriously, if you're gonna sell glasses online, at least make sure they're legit, ya know?
I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone, unless you're into buying fake crap. In that case, I guess Shade Station UK is the place for you. But if you're looking for some quality shades, you'll definitely wanna steer clear of this place.
Unreliable Shades: My Disappointing Experience with Shade Station UK
So, I got some shades from Shade Station UK and boy was I disappointed. They didn't last for a hot minute before I started to notice them falling apart. I mean, like within a few weeks parts of them were just breaking off like cheap toys. The quality was whack, man. I won't even consider buying from that site again.
Warning: Terrible customer service at Shade Station UK - don't waste your money!
from Shade Station UK (shadestation.co.uk) if you don't want to be ripped off! I ordered a pair of sunglasses weeks ago and my order status is still listed as "processing." I tried reaching out to their customer service team, but they ignored my emails and phone calls. These folks are crooks, they just want to take your money and run.
I understand that things get backed up sometimes, but their complete lack of communication is unacceptable. I have never experienced such bad customer service in my life. I won't be shopping with them again and I'll make sure to tell all of my friends to do the same. I wish I had read reviews before ordering from them. Consider yourself warned, folks! Don't waste your time, energy, or hard-earned money on Shade Station UK. You deserve better than this.
Poor Return Policy and Flawed Product: My Experience with Shade Station UK
I just had an experience with Shade Station UK and let me tell you, I wasn't impressed. First off, I had some trouble with the return policy. Apparently it all depends on Natalia, who answers the phone and is also the boss lady who decides if your item can be returned. I mean, what kind of nonsense is that? I just want a clear policy that applies to everyone.
Then, when I did finally get my sunglasses, they were bent! And poor Natalia didn't seem to think so. So now I'm stuck with a flawed product and no solution from the company. Honestly, I don't think I'll be doing business with Shade Station again.
If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy company, I suggest you keep it local in 'Merica.
Shade Station UK: Terrible Customer Service and No Refunds for Faulty Glasses
So, I gotta say, I got a real bone to pick with these guys over at Shade Station UK. I mean, they really did me dirty. I dropped over $400 on a pair of glasses from their site, and when I got them they just didn't fit right. So, I figured, no big deal, I'll just send them back and get something else. But nooo, these guys are some real con artists! They straight up refused to give me a refund or exchange.
And don't even get me started on their customer service. I mean, it was just plain terrible. Nobody would help me out, and I was left with these glasses that were totally useless. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend these guys to my worst enemy. It was just a complete waste of money and time.
Frustrating Delays and Lack of Communication with Watch Retailer
(which is weird cuz they're clearly from the UK), but whatever. We chose them cuz they had some good deals on watches and we wanted to treat ourselves. Well, it's been over a month now and we still don't have our watch. They keep telling us to check the tracking number but it's been saying "on route" for the whole dang time. We're starting to feel like they don't even care about our order. It's really frustrating that we have to keep waiting and we can't even get a straight answer from them. We hope that we get our watch soon cuz this wait is getting ridiculous.
Disappointing Order Experience with Shade Station UK: Delayed Delivery and No Refund for 2 Months
So, I went ahead and placed my order for some sweet shades on Shade Station UK (shadestation.co.uk), order#RS490550923GB. Paid for it too! But, it's been a solid 2 months and still no delivery. So, I decided to follow the website's policy and requested a refund. The website said it would only take 35 days to request a refund. Weird, right? Anyway, no refund yet even though the item has been returned to Shade Station. I've even sent them several emails about it and no response? What's up with that Shade Station?
WARNING: Stay Away from Shade Station UK - Terrible Customer Service and Scam
I want to let people know to stay away from this company, Shade Station UK. I ordered a pair of glasses, but they arrived late and when I opened the box, there were no glasses inside. I was really upset, and I reported the problem to them. But you know what? They didn't care at all! They said that they sent the glasses, and they wouldn't do anything about it. Can you believe that? I paid over ?100 for a box with nothing inside.
I even requested to talk to a manager, but I haven't received a reply from them yet. It's really frustrating dealing with a company that treats their customers like this. It's supposed to be a trusted online store, but in reality, it's a scam. I really regret trusting this company.
I just want to warn people to be careful when shopping online, especially when it comes to Shade Station UK. They don't care about their customers at all, and they are just after your money. Don't trust them and don't waste your time and money like I did.
