worst service ever
This complaint is regarding worst service ever provided by any store outlet in UAE.
I have purchased a Samsung LED Model no. 50HU7000 with Free Samsung Audio Wireless bar on 02-Jan-15 ref. SI/03180/DMI/150102/00026 from Dubai Mall Branch.
I have been told that it will be delivered to me Maximum by Sunday i.e. 04-Jan-15. Since then me and my wife are chasing Sharaf DG Customer care number for almost 12 times, but no positive reply till now. Whenever we are calling, we are receiving the same reply that it will be delivered by today or Dubai Mall branch people will call us.
Finally After 3 days of so many attempts on 6th Jan 15 morning 1st time I have received a call from Dubai Mall branch by stating that it will be delivered by tomorrow.
On 7th Jan 15, again no reply. Then, I again called back to customer care then they said they will pass my concern to Dubai Mall branch. After 2 hours, I received a call from a courier guy stating that he has a LED TV to deliver me. I asked him regarding TV installation and samsung soundless audio bar. He replied that he can’t install TV because he is just a courier boy and he has only LED TV to deliver.
Then I told him to hold the delivery. I again called back to customer care then they said installation guy will take 4 days and Audio Bar is not mentioned in Bill, May be its not there with this scheme. Then the customer care guy saw the catalogue and he agreed with me regarding Sound bar. He asked me to visit the mall branch again for Bill Correction which billing guy forgot to mention. Now I again I have to come to Dubai Mall and I have to break my head for Dubai Mall Parking space and Billing section to correct it and for installation I have to wait for 4 days, But still no feedback from Dubai Mall branch.

I bought a white color blackberry bold 9900 from Sharaf DG store, Deira city center for 2499 dh 2 years back.LCD display of the phone started flickering after few months of usage.Then a permanent horizontal line showed up on the display(2 lines).As my phone was under warranty i took the phone for service and they told they will replace the LCD display but it will take 14 working days.And i got it replaced and all of a sudden i started to get new problem with my touch display.when i am on a call the phone will be put to hold and dial another number from contact automatically.next problem was when i try to take a contact for dialing or try to open an app the display scrolls up and down automatically not allowing me to select anything on the display.I could nt give as it was not under warranty.soon my display started to pop out from different areas on the display.after few weeks the white dispaly almost came out and i could see only hard sticky glue on the display, i could see everything on the screen.but the white screen came out, so i took it to a mobile store so that i could change the display if it was gone faulty and out of my surprise the technician told that it was not faulty but my white phone had a black touch LCD display and a white screen was stuck on top of it to show that it was a white display.But i told that i bought from a reputed store in UAE and it could not be, so the technician showed me a new 9900 LCD touch display and i came to know that i was cheated by replacing a black display on a white phone.Now i am using it with a black display.As per the instruction of the technician i used a solvent for removing the glue.But i was cheated but replacing a black display.
skype camera missing in pack

Sharaf dg promised me in gitex - dubai, regarding the skype camera delivery for purchasing my new lg 55 inch ua55lg830t model.
Sharaf dg has not delivered the free lg skype camera as promised.
After receiving the lg tv with 8 3d glasses, I am surprised that lg skype camera is missing in the delivery.
I am upset after seeeing this delivery.
I am just complaining my log in this website, for not delivering the skype camera - lg.
Kindly do favour or take some action on the above said sub ject

bad-quality laptops
Don’t buy laptops from the company Sharaf DG. I bought laptop, but after 2 weeks some problems occurred and it stopped to work, and they agreed to repair it for free, coz I had warranty. After 2 months and the same problem. They again and again repaired it, but new problems occurred. I finally told them to provide new or take it back, but they refused and started to claim that it was my fault, but it wasn’t. So be careful if you buy from this company or leave comments if you have horrible experience them.
Every single thing you just wrote is precisely true. The worst Outlet for electronics in the world. No words to express disappointment. All products are second quality, and they just tempt you with combo offers.
delivery of purchased items
I have purchased a lg washing machine from sharaf dg time square on 14/02/2013, and ask them should be delivered before 18/02/2013, because my container is loading to send to india, unfortunatly they did not delivered on the date I have contacted several times to the customer service, but they don't even know the status of the delivery and today morning I am trying to solve the issue, if in case they don't deliver today then I can't load it. The same thing happen to my cousin who buy around fifty thousand stuffs from sharaf dg on 20/01/2013 and till today his 2 television and refrigerators are not arrived. Please don't buy from sharaf dg unless you are taking with you

I had gone for visit in Dubai, and purchased 3D tv in Sharaf DG store, Dierra Dubai.
The sales person told me that the 3D glasses are inside the TV box. I bought the TV to India and to my surprise, the glasses were not there. I sent mail informing this to Sharaf DG, they informed me that the glasses were out of stock and informed me to tell any of my friend to collect it. So one of my friend had gone last week, but they informed that concerned person was on holiday, there were no stock ...bla bla bla... and did not give him the glasses. he also came back to india now. so i requested them to courier me the glases, but they are not replying on this. One thing i came to know that even though they have great reputation, still I was cheated by SHARAF DG... dont buy any product from them... after sales is disgusting. Do not buy any items from Sharaf DG. Customer service staffs are all surprisingly poor without any manner, not educated, not trained and bad attitude to customers. I had the same experience. I purchased a sony vaio laptop by home delivery. Sony free carry case should be included since there's a description in the box. I searched everywhere in the box, but I couldn't find it. I called up, the first staff said that if it was not on the bill, no free case and he intentionally cut the call. The second staff asked my mobile number, name, bill number, then he just said it was not on the bill and the call was disconnected during the conversation. I didn't receive any call although he had my number. The third staff, he said that I had to speak to the City Center shop directly, not to the customer service. He said he would let the shop call me. Of course, I haven't received any call. This is horrible Sharaf DG experience. I'm 100% sure if your newly purchased items have some problems, you will be suffering a lot. Better to go for other shops with good after service care even if the price is higher.
i hot a camera on 11 November 2013. sharaf dg in city center. it was 6oo AED. after that my friend got that same camera for 350 AED.
it is wB30FWHT this name of the camera.but the same day i try to take some photos.it doesn't work..the problem is familiar hardware
the customer as nothing to do with that. after 3 day i spoke to Umar Asharf( staff) he said to me they will repair and call me back.and also he mention at anytime i can go for another option rather im taking the same camera for 600AED i can buy 350 for outside another shops.we was clear on that. after 3 week they call me camera is ready. 30 of November i speak Tilini( srilankan lady) but she said she doesn't't have any idea about this camera however i cant exchange.

I bought a laptop January 2013, Few days after purchase it started having some strange issues, took it to service, before even seeing the device the guy says: "but you have to pay 200dhs if it was a software issue!", I said please inspect it first and we'll see, they returned it a few days after formatting and reinstaling windows, solved 3 problems (dvd, touchpad, and windows) and charged me 200dhs for their faulty laptop. Story didn't end there, as I had to take it 3 times to service afterwards and every single time the guy doesn't even listen to my explanation about the problem, I took a vedio and sent it to his management but still no response at all. I called the customer service and he tells me we can't help you and you gotta go to the store! I go to the store almost every other day for 2 months now and nothing happens, I can't use the laptop (Sony Vaio AED4, 300 worth) and they are not replacing it or refunding the purchase. I raised a case with DED (Dubai Economic Development) and going to eventually went to court and will start and official case today and still no one from SharafDG is even bothering to call me back! Even they don't have any service call or complain number and everytime I have to spend 30 minutes on the phone explaining the entire issue. I am not interested in the laptop or money anymore and all what I want is to see Dubai clean from such crappy traders.
Dubai is a great city and really cares for consumer rights, such careless players should not stay in business for that long!

On 31st Oct 2011 I purchased a Palson 30561 Fruit extractor +lima blender 30526 for 399 Aed from Sharaf DG Safeer Mall Store Sharjah UAE.I went to purchase a Food processor but upon Sales Executive convincing skills I ended up taking the above mentioned product.
Next day I realized I dint get what I was looking for as Food processor have so many options but this one had only two.I made up my mind to exchange it for Phillips food processor.
On 1st Nov 2011 I went to the same store at around 9 45 pm to exchange the product
I met Sudip thoo and gave back the product with everything including thermocol(used for packing).He opened the piece and said it was used.It wasnt used but washed but he kept on arguing with me when I dint use Y wuld I wash.
As far as I know in all eductational institutes it is taught to wash any product(Kitchen appliances) before u use.
I culdnt attach the blade to the motor how culd I use it the system was complicated I called the call centre 7 times the same day upon not getting them through and not able to fix it I decided to exchange it
.But he had already decided pre conceived and had a pre occupied mind that the product was used.
When dept incharge came Muhammed Tanveer just asked him what he said product was used and he continued the same song without even looking at the product.
Kindly replace the product and let me buy a Phillips food processor if it is possible.I have left the product at the store only .
The attitude and service of teh executive was pathetic and annoying.he was questioning me upon my creditability which is unacceptable.and I want you to take an action against the executive

i also having the same problem, i purchased a phone from sharaf dg and second day went to them for a compalint that its restarting its own and hanging. they deny to replace the set and told to go to the lenovo directly its not their problem. after arguing they told me to leve the set with them and they will sent it for software update. after 5 days and calling them like stupid they return the set back having same problem. i informed to customer service representative he told me that sir you made bad choice for this brand . this brand have many complaints if you want you can leave your set again they will sent it for software update again but cannot replace the set. even if it purchased now. from my side i say no to sharaf dg and came back with faulty set. and in future will never go to sharaf dg. very poor service .

I too experienced the similar kind of thing at Sharaf DF Show room at Safeer Mall. The reponse/action on the csutoemr service desk is very poor, and the call centre is nothing but a telephone operator, whos says will pass on the message to store to call you back, but you will never get a call even after you acall 10 times to the call centre. Post Sales support/serice is very important for any Electronics Store, but surprisingly it is very poor at Sharaf DG. - by Fernando

One should thoroughly check any electronic goods before buying it. After paying for it, you can open it then and there. if the cases are tight, the Sales persons will take the risk to open them. Its a matter of some time. If you could spend all your time to select the product why not spend a little to cross check it.

Yes, this is exactly what I have found out about this retail company. As a customer, I prefer to make purchases easier for my side by ordering online. I have successfully done so, however, later on, I have decided to have the newly purchased blackberry exchanged with another item.
I have called up Sharaf DG's customer service twice and called up Customer Service at City Centre to confirm if the product can be exchanged. I want to ensure that I have the accurate information and that the change is acceptable, the reason I have made three calls. I have informed all the three customer service representatives that I have spoken with that I have purchased a product online and that I want it to be exchanged, all have confirmed that this can be done. They just reminded me not to open the product and bring the receipt with me when I go to any Sharaf DG stores, additionally, the new item that will be purchased should be of equal or higher value.
Equipped with this information, I have gone to Sharaf DG City Centre but right then and there, was advised that the exchange can't be done. I felt disappointed, more so frustrated as the Officer-In-Charge was even raising his voice to us. In all fairness to Sharaf DG, they have an Assistant Manager who has kindly spoken with us and explained the mistake of the Customer Service. Still, it is unacceptable that the Customer Service has given me wrong information three times. This is really rubbish.
To cut the story short, I agreed to have the product exchanged online. After several days, I collected the new-sealed phone, only to find out in few minutes when I got to open the package, that there is a crack at the bottom. I immediately called up my contact person and I was asked to go back to Times Square to have it checked. I am staying in Deira so one could imagine the time and effort that I have given, not to forget the heat I have to suffer.
When I got there, I have spoken with two people from Customer Service who without carefully checking the phone, said, that it had fallen that's why there's a crack. It may be hard to believe but I personally would not tell stories or lies and claim that I did not drop it. The truth is and I swear, I did not drop the phone. If the phone has fallen down, then there should be other scratches but there aren't and they did not check the phone carefully before pointing fingers to me telling that it's my fault. It may like be that before the phone has been put in the package, it already has a crack but these CSRs are implying that it was me who dropped the phone.
I have spoken for sometime with the Head of Sales in Times Square and then he promised to have the issue resolved within 3 working days - that I'll get a replacement phone in 3 days but after more than three days, with no call or update from their side, I still haven't got the product back. I already paid for a phone that I haven't even used even for a single call and a phone that is not in my hands.
This is my personal experience with Sharaf, I do not know what's yours but after this, I have resolved never to buy from Sharaf DG again. The will is still in your hands; you just have a think first and remember this story before going to this retail store. At the end of the day, you will believe what you want to believe. All I can say is that this is for me to know, would you still like to find out?

Very poor delivery service by Saraf DG Deira Branch. Once bought a Dishwasher, had go to the store to check on delivery. Now a TV, after 03 days of buying no sign of delivery. EMAX is much better and customer service is better too.

Later I cancelled the purchase which is worth more than 7432 Dhs, after 2 days still, it is not refunded to my account as per the sales person and it's been working days with hopeless calls and clueless staff. Absolute worst customer service from some staff (not all) and still, Sharaf DG still has the urge to send an email asking for customer feedback and rating! If anything, DO NOT purchase from this store. They are absolutely a joke and their staff members lack training and knowledge about their products as well as professionalism overall.

True, I had the same experience with customer care. They will never tell you what will be their action. First, they delayed the delivery for more than 5 days. Later I cancelled the purchase which is worth more than 10000 Dhs, after 20 days still, it is not refunded to my account.

My service receipt no 18753 dated 7 nov 2009.
I have trying to call ([protected]) deira city centre branch, since last three (3) days — the bell keep on ringing but nobody pick up the phone.
Finally, two days back I had called toll free [protected] and I have been informed that they will call me back and update me about my mobile phone (Under warantee) repairing status.
After receiving no call (Also continously trying your above mentioned no [protected]), today I had again called toll free no [protected] and I have been provide another no [protected] — surprisingly that is always engaged — trying since morning!
No phone, no faxes in reach of customer (A regular one) — please advise what to do?

I also had similar type of incident in the same way they deducted 10% on the product (please refer to the complain of Camera nikon) . I tried to return it on the same day but the Dept. Manager Mr. Naser Abdulrahman Salman Alsharif and customer support person Mr Sahbaaj acted very smart. Mr. Sahbaaj tried to prove me wrong in all possible way he was trying to become an IT guy. He gave lots of absurd idea and tried to check the problem in his laptop and got the same result that I was talking about. Actually the mp3 product has advertised wrongly on the top of the packet that the player is with high speed usb 2.0 data transfer facilities but when checked I think it was not even behaving like standard usb 1. Finally when they saw that the product had genuinely some problem in data transfer then they started telling that as I have opened the pack they will deduct 10%. Instead putting up to the company about their wrong advertisement they are deducting money from customer.
The customer support of Sharaf DG in my view is really pathetic and horrible.

I WAS one of the good customer of Sharf DG Bahrain and Dubai.
Few days back I bought one camera (Nikon) for one of my friend as birthday Gift, unfortunately he said he will not take the gift worth BD 560/-. I went back to Sharf DG the next morning to return them, but they where not ready to do refund the money. After so much request one of the customer service guy said let he speak to my Manager and then I will let you know. The camera was checked and inspected by there sales and service manager before the decided anything. They said everything is intact and perfect, then only they will give gift coupons. After approx 2 hours he said they will take it back but they will deduct 10% from the price and they will not give cash. Finally they gave me Gift Vouchers worth BD 503 (after deduction openalty). I would like to know why did they deduct 10% on the bill... R they into some kind of second hand product business. If they where deducting 10% then why they didn't give cash or reversed my credit card.
Customer satisfaction level is not so gr8.
Now I am struggling to get rid of those gift coupons... Request your help for the same...

We purchased an airpurifyer LG PuriCare in Sharaf DG store in dubai mall. The product came in a brocken unsealed old box with disorderly content!
Obviously not new product.
The customer service was refusing to help, saying it is NORMAL! That the box was open to see if the product is working.
