Shift.online Warning: Stay Away From Shift.online as a Moving Company - My Terrible Experience

I need to warn everyone, Shift.online is not the moving company you should choose. I recently had a terrible experience with them and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. If you have a choice, it's better to move your belongings by yourself than go with this company.

I have a lot of complaints about the whole process, but I'll try to keep it brief and focus on the main issues. For starters, cancelling your booking is not an option with this company. Once you've booked with them, you're stuck with them whether you like it or not. Their website is also confusing and doesn't provide clear contact points or details about your booking, leaving you feeling lost and stressed.

To make matters worse, their cost estimates are not to be trusted. Even after you've provided all the relevant information, their estimates are usually on the lower side, so you end up paying more for overtime. This was an unpleasant surprise for me, and it felt like they were just trying to make more money out of me in any way possible.

My personal experience with Shift.online was a nightmare. I stumbled upon their website and thought I was getting a deal as they were a few pounds cheaper than their competitors. I selected the maximum extent of the move and a Luton van, and the website estimated that it would take 2.5 hours to complete everything.

On the day of the move, I was in for a rude awakening - the driver showed up 8 hours late! With no updates or support from the company, I had to talk to multiple drivers to figure out what was happening, and they kept giving me excuses and delaying the move. The move that was supposed to take 2.5 hours ended up taking 5 hours, which included the driver taking over an hour to reach a destination only 23 minutes away. It seemed like the slower they worked, the more money they could make off of me, as I was paying them by the minute.

After this whole ordeal, I tried to dispute the charges, but it was no use since they already had my card details, and they charged me whatever they wanted. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience, to say the least.

Please trust me when I say that you should avoid Shift.online at all costs. Don't make the same mistake I did and suffer through the pain that I went through.

Shift.online Beware of Shift Online - Untrustworthy and Scamming Customers

Shift Online or Shift Online Strategists is a company that claims to help people move their belongings. However, it seems they are not trustworthy and can scam people easily. Initially, they present cheap prices on their website to attract customers. But once a customer places the order and gives their credit card details, they keep them waiting for hours on their computer without providing any confirmation. This can make you feel like a silly person sitting there, waiting endlessly.

If a customer contacts their messaging service, the company will ask for their phone number and give them a call. The staff will then give them a different price for the same service which they selected online. They will say that the initial price is for small vehicles, and the actual price for larger vehicles is much more expensive. This way, they can cheat customers into paying more than they expected.

If you wish to cancel your order, the company's representatives will refuse to refund the money and try to justify it by saying they incur costs even when they have done nothing. Even if your booking is two weeks away, they will charge you anyway, and if you complain, they will do nothing.

If you encounter such frauds, it is crucial to act quickly and call your bank as soon as possible to cancel the charges. Do not hesitate to report such companies that exploit people who are already stressed with moving.

Remember, once they scam you and charge your account, they will try to do it again a few days later. They will ask you to cancel your order online and often send you a link to do so, but beware, as this link may contain dangerous viruses. Instead, call your bank and ask them to dispute the charge and inform the company that the order is officially canceled, and ask for a refund.

To save yourself from all these troubles, it is best not to book with Shift Online or Shift Online Strategists. There are many other reliable companies offering the same services, so it's better to choose wisely and check the reviews before selecting any service provider.

Shift.online Shift.online review: Unprofessional, terrible customer service and slow dispute resolution

I recently had a terrible experience with Shift.online. I made a booking for a van and 5 minutes later I had to cancel. However, they charged me the full cost for "costs incurred to prepare & dispatch the van to me". I was shocked! My original order stated that they were still finding a driver, so what costs did they incur? I raised a dispute with them and, astonishingly, two days later, the status still said they were waiting on drivers' response...but there was no driver! They sent me texts and a voicemail, but it seemed like they were more concerned about my negative review on Trustpilot. To make matters worse, they accepted my payment but took forever to resolve the dispute.

When the dispute finally ended, they asked me to remove my bad review in exchange for my refund. That seemed so unfair. I was glad that I wasn't the only one who had a negative experience with them though. They reported every bad review on Trustpilot with similar accusations: sexist, coarse, racist, defamatory, and violent! This made me enraged because they accused their customers of untrue and disgusting things just because they wanted to take down bad reviews.

I decided to report them to Watchdog and seek help from Citizens Advice. They told me that I was within my rights to cancel for any reason and it seems like Shift.online doesn't understand that. In fact, the fraud department of my bank reassured me that if I didn't receive the service I paid for, then I was entitled to a refund. I'm not letting this business get away with their terrible behavior and I'll make sure that everyone knows about it.

One of the issues I had with Shift.online was their lack of contact details. It was so hard to find their address, but eventually, I discovered that they're located at Shift and Move, Provident House, 6-20 Burrell Row, Bekenham, United Kingdom, BR3 1AT. I found Jacob Corlett, the founder, on LinkedIn. He had a picture with an entrepreneur award and there was an article about his business, which is listed in Companies House as Shift and Move, not Shift.online.

In summary, I had a terrible experience with Shift.online. Their behavior was unprofessional, their customer service was terrible, and their process for dealing with disputes was slow. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Shift.online Avoid Shift.online for your house move - rude service, damaged goods, and wrong van size. Not worth the money or the hassle

I tried to book my house move online with Shift.online, and they had taken my money straight away. Apparently, that was no big deal to them, but it isn't okay with me. I called them and requested that they supply me with a Luton van, and they said, "ok."

However, two old men who looked like they had not slept in days, came 40 minutes earlier than scheduled. This would be a big issue for some people, but my biggest problem was that we did not have enough time to clear the food from our fridge. The van they arrived with was way too small for our needs. Our neighbours had complained to our landlord that they damaged our fence on the old property. If this wasn't already enough, they broke our fridge doors. All they had to do was open the doors in the living room and manoeuvre the fridge through them into the kitchen. Instead, they scratched up our door frames, leaving splinters of wood and chunks of paint.

To add insult to injury, the drivers trailed mud all over our brand new carpets. They told us that it would vacuum straight up, but it just stained the carpet instead. Since they arrived with a smaller van than what we had asked for, they had to make two trips. The driver stated that there was no problem since we were close by. I thought that this wouldn't be an issue, but I was very wrong.

I sent an email to their support team to complain, but the driver denied damaging anything. I was told that I should be grateful because they didn't charge me for the two trips they took. Please, give me a break! They sent the wrong van and then left us stranded without furniture or even our baby's bed, as they disappeared for lunch without a word. We were clueless and left waiting, wondering where they had gone.

This was not my first time using the services of Shift.online, but it will, in all honesty, be my last. The first time we used them, everything went smoothly, but that was in a different region. This time around, they were just ridiculous. You have been warned. Do not recommend. The men were too old to handle things carefully, and they even dumped boxes onto the ground when they were unloading the van. To top things off, they had no manners. Even their customer support emails were rude, insulting, and abrupt. I could not believe it. If you value your items and want them to stay intact, then please avoid this company.

Shift.online Shift.online: Deceptive Advertising, Poor Service, and Dishonest Practices

So I stumbled upon this website called Shift.online, after seeing an advertisement on Facebook about the groceries delivery service they offered. Back in May 2020, I was isolating at home and had a tough time arranging online delivery slots through other vendors. Therefore, I decided to give this site a try, thinking it would be a great solution. Oh boy, was I wrong!

The services that were advertised and the services that were actually offered to me were miles apart, and it didn't take me long to realize that. I was beyond disappointed, so I cancelled my booking right away and requested the deletion of my account along with personal details.

Although I received confirmation via chat on their website that my booking had indeed been cancelled, they failed to provide me with a copy of the conversation via email. I found out much later, through repeated efforts to contact them through their website chat box, that they never send a follow-up log of conversations to the customer email. That's just one of the many things that went wrong!

Unfortunately, the booking was not cancelled, and I wound up getting charged anyway. So I contacted them and requested a refund, only to be told that it wasn't possible. According to them, I used their services and that nullified my opportunity for a refund. I requested that they at least delete my account and credit card information, but they didn't respond, and I went on to get charged again and again.

Despite contacting their customer service multiple times, I didn't receive any help, and they kept ignoring my requests to delete my information. It was only after battling with them daily for almost two months through their chat that I finally had to cancel my credit card forcefully to prevent further charges. Even then, they eventually refunded me, begrudgingly.

At last, I wrote a genuine review of my experience with Shift.online on TrustPilot to warn other customers and help the company improve. I expected it to be displayed, along with positive and negative reviews, in an effort to show both sides of the service. But no, they took it down by flagging it as 'not a genuine customer,' twice! It makes me wonder how many other negative reviews they have deleted from their website.

Reviews are supposed to show a service provider how they can improve their offering for the customer, and also help potential customers to have a better idea of what they are going into with the service. But if a company removes bad feedback from their site, they're only setting themselves up for failure in the long run. Deleting such negative feedback is just as dishonest as their business model.

I'd advise anyone to be careful in deciding whether to trust them with your personal data, payment information, and, most importantly, your time. They're not worthy of trust.

Shift.online Avoid Shift.online: Terrible Customer Experience & Unprofessional Driver

This moving service I used, Shift.online, was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I am someone who appreciates a good deal, so I opted for the one-man-and-a-van service to move my one-bedroom apartment. I made sure to confirm all the details ahead of time, including the specific items that needed to be moved and my inability to lift heavy objects due to my bad back. However, when the driver arrived with the van and we started to move my furniture, he immediately started to freak out. He complained that it wasn't worth his time and energy for the measly ?68 I had paid, even though I had agreed to pay double that amount.

Not only that, he argued that we had too many items to move, despite the fact that we were only moving the items we had agreed upon with Shift. I even carried more objects on my own than what we had initially discussed. When I suggested he contact Shift to discuss his issues, he completely lost his temper. He began screaming at me, which drew the attention of my new neighbors who were walking by. He told me to "shut up" and was completely unprofessional.

I tried to reason with him, telling him I only needed his help to carry a few heavy items to the elevator on the ground floor and up to my new apartment. However, he continued to shout at me and even slammed the entrance to the building. He then drove off in a fit of rage. At this point, I was completely appalled by his behavior and decided to try and contact Shift to resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, Shift does not provide a contact number, so I had to drive somewhere with Wi-Fi to interact with their team online. Around 10 minutes later, to my surprise, the driver showed up again. He had turned his van around and apologized for his unprofessional behavior. He helped me move my items, and then left.

However, my negative experience did not end there. I reached out to the Shift team to inquire why the driver thought the payment was only half of what we had agreed upon and why the driver had not received the full itemized list agreed upon ahead of time. It has now been two days, and I have yet to hear back from Shift.

Overall, I would not recommend using Shift.online. It was a terrible customer experience, and I felt completely unheard and unsupported.

Shift.online Avoid Shift.online! A low-quality service with terrible customer support. All style, no substance. Don't be fooled by cheap prices

Shift.online's website appears to be top-notch with its fancy user experience and beautifully crafted design. The prominent banners of their extensive '10000 drivers' network and excellent customer experiences attracted me to their service. But, beware, appearances can be deceiving.

Initially, I received quotes from Shift and Anyvan, and, to my amazement, Shift's cost was less than half of what Anyvan had quoted me. I thought it was a steal, but in hindsight, that should have been the first warning sign.

After a few days, I received an email from Shift stating that they had yet to find a driver for my time-sensitive job. I was worried about their capability and wanted to know when I should expect to have the driver assigned and if there was any possibility of a free cancellation. The only way to contact Shift was through their instant messaging service, which was a hassle for me to get through to a real person instead of an automated bot. Finally, I got through to a person, but they were just a tad better than the bot. They informed me that they were unsure if they would find a driver, and according to T&Cs, I would not receive a full refund. That was unhelpful!

Luckily for me, they eventually found a driver. However, their website's status updates were of no use; it made it seem like it had real-time updates of the driver's whereabouts, which it did not. I tried to contact the allocated driver with no success. When the driver and his assistant arrived, they had trouble removing my fridge freezer from the van. The additional assistant was not strong enough, and I had to lend a hand to help them get it to the garage. Before leaving, I noticed that the fridge had sustained damage, and I contacted Shift to solve the issue. To my frustration, they responded with a generic message stating that I should contact the driver for compensation; however, they were no longer considered their drivers and were just an agent with a beautifully designed website. They couldn't offer compensation or provide proper assistance on issues, and their customer service team had an unchanging script, and they were not worth the money paid for the service.

The website may have a fancy appearance, but it is all style and no substance. It may come at a cheap price, but you get what you pay for; a low-quality service and terrible customer support. It's not worth the risk. Avoid the foolishness and go for another service provider. I'm livid!

Shift.online Shift Movers Review: Unreliable and Disorganized Services Lead to a Nightmare Move

I done booked Shift online to move my furniture but ended up needing to do a whole lot of rescheduling and got screwed over in the end. I had the whole thing paid for and confirmed a week in advance, but on the day of the move the driver was calling me non-stop when I couldn't answer my phone. I thought it was a bit much that he cancelled the job just because I didn't answer - I mean, come on, I had it set for the evening, not during the middle of the day. I also tried to call him back but nada. After a few hours of this, the driver called me back and said he couldn't do it because I didn't answer. Like, really? I told him straight-up that I couldn't answer at that exact moment and I didn't expect him to call me since everything was confirmed and paid for. But you know, he just said that it wasn't his problem and returned the job back to the company.

Naturally, I tried calling Shift's number from their website but didn't get any answer. Eventually this lady called me back and said that the driver had called me all day. I was like, "uh, no he didn't." He only called me a few times and I couldn't call him back. The lady then tried to make it out like the job was still available but it was obviously not true because the driver had already returned it. My stuff was supposed to be picked up from people who were moving out of their flat and I had a time limit on that. I told the lady on Shift's end that it was essential to get the items collected that day. She said the only way forward was to reschedule for the next evening. I was so frustrated but I had no choice so I went ahead with the rescheduling.

The next day, the new driver called me up and said he was supposed to come in the evening but could only come in the next hour. I let the tenants know and tried calling the driver back but no answers. A few minutes later, I got an email saying the job was cancelled AGAIN. I was raging and tried calling Shift's office but surprise, surprise, no one picked up. I went onto their live chat and found out that the driver had lied about having to go to the hospital. I had spoken to him just 10 minutes earlier and he didn't say anything about that at all. The only option left was to try rescheduling AGAIN. At this point, I was done with their crap and cancelled the whole thing. Ended up getting another company to do the job and it cost me a bomb because it was last minute.

Avoid Shift at all costs, people. They wasted my time and money and caused me a lot of stress.

Shift.online Shift.online Review: Terrible Customer Service and False Promises

Shift.online is a company that promises to pick up and deliver your items within minutes of making a request. This sounded like an amazing service, so we decided to give it a try. We booked a job the evening before and paid for it immediately, thinking that it would guarantee that the job would be done.

Unfortunately, we did not receive a confirmation email as promised, which was not a big deal on its own, but it was the start of a lot of other problems. The day of the job arrived, and we checked the status of our request before bed, only to find that it was still pending and that no one had picked up the job. This was concerning since we had booked a two-hour slot for picking up the furniture, and it was supposed to start at 9 am.

We immediately contacted Shift.online's customer service team, which turned out to be terrible. We were informed that nobody was available to do the job, and it was only because we contacted them that we found out! It was baffling that they didn't even reach out to us. We panicked trying to find someone else to do the job at short notice before 9 am on a Wednesday morning. Miraculously, we found someone willing to help us.

When we informed Shift that we had to use someone else, they told us we would be charged the full amount. It was unbelievable, considering that Shift claimed they didn't have anyone available. Later, miraculously, they found someone 48 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time and told us we were at fault for not using their driver! We had to fight for our refund and were told a 35% cancellation charge should be levied. We disputed the cancellation fee, but the money had already been debited from our account.

Shift's website promises that you can search for a price and availability before booking, which is not entirely true. There wasn't any availability, as we found out the hard way. The website promises that a "Shifter" would accept the job within minutes, but that was not our experience.

All in all, Shift.online is a disgusting company with terrible customer service that we wouldn't wish on anyone. Why does the company take the money before accepting a job? It would make more sense to have a system in which customers could input their request and wait for a "Shifter" to accept it before making final payment. This would have saved us hours chasing our job, refund, and disputing a 35% cancellation charge.

Shift.online Shift.online- Terrible Service and Unresponsive Customer Care: A Review

I gotta say, my experience with Shift.online was one for the books. Let me tell you, it was one of the most stress-inducing days of my life. We had worked hard to tidy up and organize everything in our flat to make the move smoother for the team, but alas, it was anything but easy.

First of all, they claimed they arrived at 12:50 when they had already notified us they would be an hour later. We had paid for a delivery that was expected between 11 am and 1 pm, but they didn't show up until 13:56- 3 hours later! They promised to keep us updated, but it was only when they were just around the corner that they finally remembered to notify us.

Things started to look bleak once they arrived. They complained about the stairs at the property despite us clearly stating this in our booking. They grumbled about the lack of lift at the other end even though we had put this on the booking as well. I was already getting a bad vibe from them.

When we got to the first property, we requested that they take the bigger items first since those were the priority and the reason we had hired them in the first place. But surprise, surprise: they took the "lighter" and "smaller/easier" items first! And then they had the nerve to ask us to move them to the bottom of the steps for them. Excuse me, but isn't it their job to move things around?

It was clear to us that they were disorganized and didn't seem like they had any experience with house moves. They claimed we had 10 items left to load on the van, but they hadn't even put most of the larger items on the list on yet. We suggested taking some of the smaller boxes ourselves to speed things up, but they outright refused. They even refused to take the drawers inside the chest of drawers because of the contents! It was never discussed beforehand or made clear if this was Shift's policy. Thankfully, our good friend managed to come along with their car to put all of the drawers in their vehicle, which we would not have been able to do ourselves. Meanwhile, our stuff was getting wet because it was raining, but they didn't seem to care. When we pointed it out, they just shrugged it off like it was nothing.

Finally, we arrived at the new flat at 3:45 pm, and we had my parents and our friend with the car to help them unload. But we were underwhelmed and disappointed, to say the least. From what we understood when we booked their service, we were hiring two capable and experienced movers who would take care of everything. The Shift.online website even claims that "you take care of the big stuff so we can look after the fun stuff." Well, let me tell you, there was nothing "fun" about this experience! We don't feel like the "big stuff" was taken care of at all.

To add insult to injury, we were quite surprised that the two people who showed up were from Essex- not exactly around the corner from Brighton where we were moving. It seems like a company delegation issue where they were understaffed or something. But that's not our problem- we paid for a service, and we didn't get it.

Naturally, we wanted a refund, but it wasn't easy. After messaging their customer service team on the move day, it took days before they offered us a measly ?15 refund. We had already spent ?9 extra to have an allotted time slot, so a ?7 refund didn't seem fair. We asked to speak to someone who could authorize a greater refund, but we never heard back. After sending a follow-up message on the chat, Shift then closed the chat so we couldn't access it anymore. Two months later, they finally sent us an email receipt for the job, but there was still no proper resolution.

Fast forward to six months later, and we see ?114 taken from our account with no warning. They claimed it was due to a technical issue, but in reality, they never resolved our complaint which was why we never paid the remainder. It was very difficult to get in touch with them by phone, and we were once again left in the dark and ?114 short.

In conclusion, Shift.online's service was terrible, and dealing with their customer care team was even worse. I wouldn't give them even one star.

Shift.online Unprofessional behavior and poor communication from Shift.online's delivery driver

I had a booking with Shift.online and was given a reasonable time range for the delivery which was between 7am-6pm. I was expecting the delivery driver to at least give me a call or text when they are at or on their way to the property. However, to my surprise, I received a call from the manager at 8am to inform me that the delivery driver has been waiting at the property for an hour already. I couldn't believe it! I hadn't even arrived at the property yet! The delivery driver just sat in the van and waited for a whole hour before contacting anyone.

I was really disappointed with this unprofessional behavior, so I contacted the customer service team. To my disappointment, I was told that this is a realistic approach for any delivery service, and therefore I won't be getting any refund. I just couldn't believe it! It was not acceptable for me to pay for an hour of wasted time, due to a lack of communication from the driver. This experience made me doubt the commitment of Shift.online to its customers. I believe that if the driver cared about their customers and their experience, they would have tried to reach me to make sure my delivery is complete and to represent the company in a more professional way.

After this experience, I decided to book a small local business from Gumtree, and I was amazed by their level of professionalism, they were 10 times better. They provided excellent communication which allowed me to be present and accept the delivery on time. Their level of service made me realise that Shift.online may still have some room for improvement. Overall, I believe that communication is a very important part of any business, and no customer should be made to pay for time they didn't use just because of poor communication from the delivery driver.

Shift.online Shift.online Move Review: A Disaster with Terrible Customer Service

Oh man, let me tell you, my experience with Shift.online was a total disaster. I thought I had everything planned out for my move - just two sofas, nothing too crazy. But boy was I wrong.

I had booked and paid for the move for a Friday, and was given a 4-hour window for when the driver would come by. I was waiting, waiting, waiting...and then bam, 5 minutes before the deadline, I get a text from the driver saying they're not available. What?! Are you kidding me?

So you know what I did? I immediately called up the Shift head office to see what was going on. And let me tell you, I was not happy. Not even a little bit. But did they apologize or offer any kind of explanation? Nope. Just told me it would have to be moved to the next day because they had no one else available.

So I took a whole day off of work to deal with this simple move, and now I was furious. What a waste of time! And to add insult to injury, Shift never even bothered to call me back with a new time or driver for the next day. I've been sitting on hold for 45 minutes at this point, and still nothing.

Honestly, the lack of customer service was beyond infuriating. Shift never even offered a refund, a discount, or an apology for putting me through all of this. I wouldn't wish this kind of experience on my worst enemy. Let me tell you, DO NOT USE this company. Stay far, far away.

Shift.online Nightmare Experience with Shift.online: Unreliable Service and Poor Customer Support

I gotta say, my experience with Shift.online was an absolute nightmare, and boy oh boy, it seems like I'm not alone in feeling this way! Let me tell you, this company charged me for their services, but didn't even bother to assign a driver to pick me up and help me move. And don't even get me started on how difficult it was to get a hold of them - I spent hours upon hours trying to get a straight answer from them about my booking. Can you believe that they actually accused me of cancelling the booking, when in reality, the booking was still active but with no driver assigned? What a bunch of malarkey!

Now let me tell you, I am a single parent with two kiddos and the thought of having to move house without any help was just too much for me to handle. I was a complete wreck, sobbing uncontrollably because of all the stress and frustration piled on me by Shift.online. And to add insult to injury, they wanted to charge me the full booking fee for a cancellation I never even made?! Unbelievable.

It's just so darn upsetting how some people can treat others so poorly. Honestly, it makes me feel queasy just thinking about how shoddy this company's service was. So now, I'm feuding with them, disputing the charge with my credit card company and hoping against hope that I'll get my money back. Shift.online are just ignoring me left, right and center! I reckon they couldn't secure a driver, so they put the blame squarely on my shoulders, all so they could still pocket my hard-earned cash. What a bunch of hooey!

Shift.online Shift.online: A Complete Nightmare - Don't Waste Your Time or Money

Oh my goodness, what a complete mess! I tell you what, we had a tough time with these Shift.online guys. We went with them because all the local movers were fully booked, and we had some pressing medical concerns that required us to get our loading and unloading done as soon as possible, cost be damned. But let me tell you, we didn't get what we paid for.
After weeks of phone calls and text messages, we were promised again and again that we'd have a van and two helpers at our doorstep within an hour of our specified time. But as the move day approached, I started getting skittish. I called them up, over and over again, and each time they assured me that everything was going according to plan. "We've got you covered," they said.
Well, that all went out the window pretty quickly. At 11:00am on moving day, we still hadn't heard anything from Shift. I was starting to lose my cool. Finally, at 11:45am, they called to say that they couldn't find a driver for our move. Can you believe it? After all those assurances, they just couldn't deliver.
Thankfully, I had the foresight to book a local van hire online the night before. And we were lucky enough to have a neighbor who was willing to lend a hand. But still, it was a complete and utter nightmare. I wouldn't recommend Shift.online to anyone. It's just not worth the hassle and uncertainty.

Shift.online Shift Online Removal Service: Disappointing Experience with Delays and Poor Customer Service

I recently used the Shift Online service to book work for a removal. On September 12 at 11:00 am, I was supposed to have a driver come to my collection address at 295 Corfield Road, London E2 0DU. Unfortunately, the driver did not notify me of any delays and when I called them at 11:45, they informed me that they would be there at 1:00 pm, an hour later than scheduled.

I had to reach out to the company to reschedule the booking for 2:30 pm and delivery for 3:30 pm. However, I did not receive any notice until 4:12 pm. I contacted the driver and found out that they had signed the job over to another driver, causing further delay. I tried calling the second driver at 4:43 pm, and they told me they would be there in five minutes. However, I called again at 5:33 pm, and they informed me they were very far away and would not arrive until 8:00 pm.

I reached out to the company at this point, but they informed me that they could not cancel the booking. They needed 72 hours to investigate my conversation with the driver and refused to refund my purchase, as they were unsure whose fault it was.

From my understanding, the company should have been able to track their driver and notify me if there was any delay. They simply took my money and left me waiting for the entirety of the day without any updates. I would not recommend using their services in the future due to this poor experience.

Shift.online Shift.online: A Nightmare Moving Experience - Don't Trust the 5-Star Reviews!

So I had a pretty bad time with this company, like seriously bad! I was supposed to move house, ya know, it's a big deal, and I decided to use Shift.online to help me out. Well, let's say it was a mistake. The stress was just not worth it. They could not get anything right! I had to keep calling them up, telling them what they were doing wrong. And it was a mess, right up until the night before I was supposed to move!

But it doesn't end there! They went ahead and assigned a driver to me who doesn't even do removals! Like, what is this company doing? Seriously, what kind of a lame business is this that they can't even get the right driver for the job? So, naturally, I had to cancel with them, I had no choice.

Now, you would think that they might try to make things right, you know, give me a refund or something. Well, they did offer me a refund on the initial charge, but it was conditional! They wanted me to take down my honest review of them on Trust Pilot! What kinda company does that, huh?

But wait, there's more! They still owe me $60 for an additional driver who they didn't even allocate, which was one of the many stresses I had before I cancelled the job. And even after they refunded me the initial charge, this $60 left my account separately and is still out there, owed to me.

After reading all the reviews on here, I am seriously worried about this company. Like, I am seriously worried about my account! I am keeping a close eye on it, you better believe it. And I would recommend that you guys do the same, seriously. Don't get involved with this company, and never, I repeat never, give them your card details because it's just not worth all the trouble you'll go through.

And one more thing that I noticed, they have all these 5-star reviews that they post at the same time. It's super suspicious, like something is really off. They all use the same poor English, and they're all basically saying the same thing. Don't fall for it, guys! Don't get fooled!

Shift.online Terrible Experience with shift.online: Website Issues, No Discount, Rude Driver, Failed Pick-Up

Yo, I wanted to book with shift.online but damn, their website wasn't working and I couldn't book online. So, I called them up but their website wasn't working either. Finally, I managed to book over the phone but the annoying thing is they promised me a 20% discount that never came. Like, what's the point of offering a discount if you ain't gonna give it, right? But that ain't even the worst part.

The driver came two hours early and didn't find anyone home. I mean, who does that? He called me and instead of being polite and asking what the deal was, he was straight-up rude and started giving me attitude. He said he wouldn't come back and that I had to sort it out myself. But the driver was still there when I came back and this is where it gets real frustrating. He couldn't load my couch, like what the actual hell. He said he didn't have time and that's even though he had come two hours earlier. I tried to call the head office eight times, but no one picked up. On the ninth attempt, I finally got through and they said that there were no drivers available and I had to cancel my existing booking.

So, I tried to re-book but their website wasn't working again. I tried calling them but they didn't answer. Finally, I tried their online chat option and spoke to someone. They told me they would call me back but I never received a call. Like, wtf?

Honestly, it's such a bummer because they sounded like a great option and good value but they let me down at every turn. Avoid these guys and find someone else!

Shift.online Frustrating Experience with SHIFT.online: Lack of Customer Support and Responsibility

So, I've had a pretty frustrating experience with SHIFT.online. I had a driver from their service leaving a job at my neighbor's house and he ended up putting a huge 3-inch dent in my car's bonnet with his van door. It turns out that the driver struggled to shut his own door and ended up jamming it onto the top of my car, causing serious damage.

My neighbor was kind enough to give me the driver's first name and a contact number. However, when I tried to reach out to the number, I discovered that it was just a temporary one that was only valid on the day of the job. Useless, right? I scoured SHIFT's website for a complaint form or a contact phone number, but came up empty-handed. This doesn't bode well.

I decided to reach out to SHIFT through Facebook, but didn't get a response. Desperate to resolve the issue, I even tried contacting the CEO through Facebook, but again, no response. I sent an email to their official email address and have yet to hear back 8 days later.

It's frustrating that SHIFT doesn't seem interested in helping me contact the driver and rectify the situation. They were, however, quick to get my review taken down from some websites when I mentioned the CEO by name. Now, I'm left wondering if any of their drivers even have valid commercial insurance, and if SHIFT is properly vetting them. And if something does go wrong, like it did in my case, who would be liable?

These are important questions that the SHIFT website doesn't even attempt to address. All in all, my experience with SHIFT.online has been pretty disappointing.

Shift.online Shift.online: A Terrible Experience - Unreliable, Unprofessional, and a Waste of Time

Wow, where do I even begin with Shift.online? In short, my experience was absolutely terrible. I had booked with them over a month in advance for some much-needed removals, and was under the impression that everything was set in stone. Oh boy, was I wrong.

Just two days before my scheduled move, I received a call from Shift to inform me that they hadn't booked a driver for my job and couldn't even guarantee one. At 6pm on a Saturday night, mind you. I was absolutely furious and demanded answers. But all I got in return was a load of humming and hahhing from the man on the phone, who couldn't even give me a straight answer as to why I wasn't told earlier about this issue.

Long story short, I had to scramble and find another company at the last minute. Thank goodness for AnyVan, who had my collection and delivery slot guaranteed straight away and even confirmed when my driver would be near. Sure, it cost me an additional ?150 more than what I had expected to pay with Shift, but at least I didn't have to deal with that kind of nonsense. And as a struggling student, that extra cost was a big deal for me.

To make things even worse, I put in a complaint with Shift and asked that they recompense me for the extra money I had to spend due to their lack of customer care. They promised that the complaint would be dealt with, but over a month later and two emails from me, the only thing they offered was a measly 10% off my next order with them. Seriously, what a joke.

It's clear that Shift.online doesn't care about their customers and is nothing but a complete waste of time. I will never, ever use this company again and would strongly advise others to steer clear of them as well.

Shift.online Shift.online: A Scam Company Praying on Students with False Pricing and Unprofessional Practices

So, I heard about Shift.online and decided to get a quote from them. I was surprised by how quickly they got back to me via text and gave me their pricing. But, I wasn't too sure if I wanted to book with them just yet, so I didn't respond. To my surprise, they continued to contact me, which I thought was quite persistent, but not necessarily bad.

Eventually, I decided to check out their website and lo and behold, they had a cheaper quote available. So, I texted them back to let them know that I wanted to book, and the guy told me to book online and let him know when I had done it. I thought that was fair enough and went online to pay the deposit.

Unfortunately, as I entered in my card details, the website crashed. I was a bit confused and decided to text the guy back to see if the booking had gone through. But, even though he read my message, I never heard anything back. I waited for 24 hours and as I hadn't heard back, I decided to cancel the transaction and the booking.

I eventually found someone else to shift everything for me. However, on September 28th, I received a ton of emails from Shift with receipts and surveys asking how they did. They even decided to take ?157 out of my account for work they hadn't even done! I was furious!

I tried to contact the office, but the girl told me that she couldn't do anything and the guy I had texted said he would raise a dispute and look into this. But it was all talk - I never heard anything back from him. I felt completely ripped off, and in desperation, I ended up reporting this to my bank as fraud. Luckily, I was able to get my money back that way, but it wasn't a smooth process. In fact, I had to cancel my card and everything!

I think this company is a complete joke! They are just praying on poor students like myself. What's worse is that the original quote was for ?350, but as soon as I mentioned that I could get it cheaper elsewhere, they brought the price right down. Looking back, I should have known better and stayed away from this company. They are nothing but a scam!
