I recently visited the shoppers drugmart at at the 1800 Sheppard Ave E #2075, North York, ON M2J 5A7. I wanted to return a product with no receipt. I was helped by the cashier manager on duty at around 3 PM on July 20, 2019. She told me that she can pull the receipt using my last four digits of my debit card number. She tried and told me " sir you did not purchase this product from this store." I explained to her that I did two days ago. I showed her my bank account transaction. Then she looked at second try and found the product.
I politely explained to her at the end that she did not need to provide such answer without the evidence of any proof. She raised her voice and told me that " oh yea then you tell me how customer service should be. I check the system and it was not there. This is not my fault."
She tried the second time and she found it. I was able to get a refund.
I was very humiliated and upset the way she responded and acted. People around me looked and assumed as though I stole the product. It was not a great example of customer service.
I just want the issue to be raised to those who is responsible. I need her to call me and ask for an apology.
