Shore Excursions Group review: 100% waste of a day

BUYER BEWARE! Shore Excursions Group is a rip off and has the worst customer service. Purchased two tickets through Cruise.Com for a day tour Cadiz to Seville. My friend got sick so I contacted them to cancel her ticket 72 hours prior to excursion. They would not issue a refund or EVEN provide me a credit to upgrade my tour. Very strict cancellation policy unlike most tour companies that is 24-48 hours prior especially due to an illness. The person I was emailing with was very rude and not any help. Windstar advised the morning of the tour the Cathedral (main attraction) was closed and offered FULL refunds or next day tour as we were in port two full days. That was just the beginning of the worst tour experience in all my travels. When I arrived at the meeting point I asked if the Cathedral was closed and told she had not heard any information on that. The tour got off to a late start waiting for someone. Once the bus left the guide Michelle advised the itinerary/times for all to be advised. Then a couple sailing on NCL abruptly spoke up and said they needed to be back by 3:30 and this didn't work for them. That started everyone's extreme disappointment, frustration and anxiety knowing our tour not only got off to a late start but would be cut short over an hour early to accommodate their return. The couple was very upset causing a scene and uncomfortable situation for all not a care how this affected any of us. At the first stop they were literally threatening Michelle even though this was not Michelle's fault. She handled the situation with grace and calm as best she could. Of course Shore Excursion Group not once reached out with an apology or credit for the short tour showing their greed once and again. A complete waste of a day! Hopefully someday Michelle finds a reputable company to represent and aligns with her professionalism. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. 100% GREED!
