After taking a closer look, I realized that the boots were rubbing on the bottom of the strut, which was causing them to rip open. I called up customer service hoping to get some help, but unfortunately, since one of the axles was out of warranty, they couldn't do anything for me. I explained to them that this was a design flaw and that they needed to look into it. I even suggested that they do a recall or offer a full refund to customers who were affected by this issue.
But you know what they said? They said that there haven't been enough complaints to warrant a recall. Can you believe that? I'm not the only one who's had this problem - I belong to an online polaris forum and several other people have reported the same issue. And yet, Sixity still won't do anything about it.
