Smallwoods Disappointed

I’ve had some small woods gifted to me so I was extremely excited to get some made of my wedding pictures. I got 5 for myself and 2 as gifts. My order was around $350. They came out so dark and the backgrounds look almost black. I contacted customer support who told me to send photos of them. Then told me pretty much sorry too bad you can ask us next time if the pictures are vibrant enough. I probably won’t be ordering more or recommending.

Smallwoods Smallwood's Christmas Print Fiasco: A Disappointing Experience

I done ordered from Smallwood twice and told my friends about 'em too. But after what happened last time, I ain't never gonna order from 'em again. The first time I got a frame that was all messed up, but they gave me a deal and sent me a new one. But this time, I ordered some Christmas presents and three of the prints was all wrong. They was supposed to be portrait but they sent me landscape and vice versa. So I asked 'em to send the replacements straight to the people I was givin' 'em to, 'cause they was gonna be late for Christmas. But guess what? Two of the prints got there and they was still wrong! And the third one is lost in the mail 'cause Smallwoods put the wrong address on the label. I bet it's wrong too. I done sent 'em 16 emails tryin' to explain what's goin' on and they keep askin' for proof and actin' like they don't know why the address is wrong. They wrote down the wrong street number, it ain't rocket science. They said they'll send me new prints again, but they ain't givin' me no discount or nothin'. I don't trust 'em to get it right this time. My Christmas presents ain't even Christmas presents no more and who knows if the third prints will ever show up. I'm so dang disappointed in this company.

Smallwoods Disappointing Experience with Smallwoods: Issues with Product Quality and Customer Service

I recently had an experience with Smallwoods and unfortunately, it was not a positive one. I ordered three custom XL signs from their website and upon arrival, I found that one of them had defects. The frame appeared to have had paint/stain not properly applied in various areas which was very disappointing as the overall quality was not what I was expecting. Additionally, the image on the sign was completely blurry. Upon reaching out to the customer service team, I was informed that my image's resolution wasn't high enough and that there were specific suggested sizes for resolution. Unfortunately, this was not noted anywhere on their website, which made me wonder how anyone was supposed to know this beforehand?

For reference, the image I provided was professionally taken and should have been suitable for use, but apparently it got compressed upon uploading. Had I been notified about the resolution issue I would have gladly fixed it, as I didn't even zoom in on the image upon submission. I was really disappointed that the company didn't catch and resolve this issue on their own before sending me the product, especially given that I had spent a significant amount of money on the signs.

Unfortunately, as I ordered the items during a sale, the company was only willing to refund the cost of the defective item, which was less than half of what I had paid. I was very frustrated by this, because I didn't see why I should be refunded for only part of the items, when I had purchased three custom signs. As a customer this was not the level of service I was expecting - I thought that Smallwoods should have been willing to offer me a refund for the entire purchase or at least a store credit that could be used towards future purchases.

To add to my disappointment, the customer service representative I spoke with about the partial credit was extremely rude to me. I understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, but I didn't feel that the representative was empathetic or understanding of my situation. I was merely seeking a fair resolution to my issue and didn't appreciate the attitude.

All in all, I must say that my overall experience with Smallwoods was not a great one, and I don't think I'll be purchasing from them again. I would have preferred that they proactively communicate with customers regarding their resolution requirements, and refrain from sending out defective products to begin with. I hope that they can take this feedback constructively and work to improve the customer experience for future orders.

Smallwoods My Frustrating Experience with Smallwoods Home Decor Website

It is with a heavy heart that I must share some unfortunate experiences I had with Smallwoods, a home decor website that I had previously enjoyed using. Unfortunately, my most recent order was fraught with issues that made the entire experience quite frustrating.

Firstly, I was dissatisfied with the product that I received because it was not made correctly. The photo frame I received cut off part of the bodies of the individuals pictured, which was not what I desired at all. I reached out to their customer service department, believing they would be able to correct the situation quickly and easily. However, I was wrong. I had to speak with five different people before I could even make progress on my request for a fix.

Furthermore, it was quite egregious to me that Smallwoods would charge me shipping on my reorder of an item that was made incorrectly in the first place -- surely, if someone is ordering a replacement for a product that was damaged or made incorrectly, they should not be charged shipping, as it is an error on the part of the company.

I also must note that, despite some of my dissatisfaction, I was pleased with the customer service representatives I spoke with. They were friendly and seemed to genuinely want to help. However, the fact that I had to spend an additional three hours holding on the phone to try and reorder the correct item was definitely a setback for me.

Despite these difficulties, I still believe that Smallwoods is a worthwhile website to use for home decor. It is a family business, which usually has a personal touch that I appreciate. I did find it humorous that the website offered a frame that cut off parts of people's bodies, but perhaps that is just my sense of humor. Ultimately, I hope that Smallwoods will take some steps to address these issues for their customers in the future.

Smallwoods Smallwoods Home Prints: Quality Depends on Your Photos, But Worth the Chance!

As a human being, I wanted to share my experience with Smallwoods (smallwoodhome.com) because I believe they deserve more credit than they've been given. First off, I have to admit that I was hesitant to place an order with them at first due to the bad reviews I had read. However, I decided to take a chance and I am so glad that I did.

One thing to keep in mind is that the quality of your photos will greatly affect the outcome of your products. The website has a feature that will alert you if you are uploading a poor quality photo, but if you choose to upload it anyway, it may not turn out the way you're expecting. I made sure to pay close attention to this when selecting my photos, and ultimately ended up with six great items.

I was thoroughly impressed with the quick delivery and the quality of the prints. One of the things I really appreciated about Smallwoods is that they offer a woodgrain look for their prints, which is a nice touch and really suited the aesthetic I was going for.

While I did have a few lower quality photos that I had to work with, I made the most of it by tweaking them and choosing a smaller size for the prints. In the end, they all turned out beautifully.

I do believe that the quality of your photos will be the determining factor with Smallwoods, but if you take the time to select high quality photos and use the editing tools, you will have a great experience. At the end of the day, I got what I paid for and I am very happy with my purchase. I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future when I have better quality photos. Thank you, Smallwoods!

Smallwoods Smallwoods Frames Review: Poor Quality, Non-Existent Customer Service - Proceed with Caution

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Smallwoods and their product quality and customer service left a lot to be desired. As someone who has previously purchased the same product with beautiful and professional images, I expected nothing less this time around. So imagine my disappointment when my frames arrived in a condition that can best be described as trash, with the images so blurry that I couldn't even display them.

To add insult to injury, my efforts to contact customer service were met with an automated response that promised a 3-5 day response time. However, almost two weeks have gone by and there has been no response. Despite sending multiple emails with reference files, asking for updates, and trying to rectify the situation, Smallwoods seems to have no interest in standing by their products or mistakes.

It's clear to me that there was an issue with the printing process, given the exceptional quality of the images that I had provided. It's a total waste of time and money, especially considering that I had spent well over $100 on these frames.

So, I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing from Smallwoods to proceed with caution and not buy into the hype of their social media ads. The quality and customer service are non-existent and it's just not worth the risk. It's incredibly disappointing to see a company that appears to prioritize their advertising and marketing over their actual products and customers.

Smallwoods Disappointed with Smallwoods - Poor Customer Service and Quality Control

As someone who has purchased from Smallwoods in the past, I have always been pleased with the quality of their products and the overall experience of shopping with them. However, my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. I decided to order a custom print as an anniversary present for my husband, and paid a considerable amount of money for it. When the print arrived, I was shocked to see that the colors were far too bright and unrealistic compared to the photo I had submitted. Not only that, but the detail in the print was lacking as well. I knew that variations in colors were possible, but this was unacceptable.

In an effort to rectify the situation, I reached out to customer service and was told that they could provide me with a 20% discount on a new order. However, I had already spent a lot of money on the first print, and the artwork was easily interchangeable with the frame I had already purchased. All I wanted was the option to swap out the artwork, something that should have been a simple request. I even asked for a phone call and was told that someone would call me back, but no one ever did. I called several times and was left on hold for 15-20 minutes before being sent to voicemail.

Finally, I was able to speak with someone who asked me to send over new photos in order to produce a different print. However, my email would only send certain sizes and could only send as a link, which was extremely frustrating. I requested help but was not provided with any assistance and my case was closed without my concerns being addressed. I have been trying to find another company that can make a print that fits the frame I already have, but this experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. It's disappointing to have invested a significant amount of time and money in a product that fell far short of my expectations.

All in all, this experience has caused me to lose faith in Smallwoods as a company. I was once a loyal customer, but I cannot in good conscience recommend or continue to purchase from them. It's a shame that what should have been a simple process has turned into such a frustrating and unhappy experience. I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Smallwoods Smallwoods Custom Print Review: Top-Notch Customer Service and Quality Prints

As someone who has recently ordered from Smallwoods (smallwoodhome.com), I wanted to share my experience with anyone considering purchasing from this company. When I first placed my order for canvas prints totaling $300, I received a pop-up message warning me that the images I had uploaded were of low quality. Initially, I was skeptical of the warning and proceeded with my order. However, I soon became concerned after reading online reviews indicating that many customers had received blurry, low-quality prints and were unable to receive a refund from the company.

Despite my worries, I decided to take action and opened a customer support ticket on the Smallwoods website shortly after placing my order. To my surprise, I received a prompt response from a representative named Mackenzie who was kind and understanding. She explained that the low-quality warning was due to the fact that I had uploaded screenshots of the images rather than the actual files, which explained the pop-up warning I received. Mackenzie immediately rectified the situation by refunding my order in the form of a digital gift card, giving me the opportunity to re-upload higher-quality images.

Throughout the process, Mackenzie was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the quality of my prints. She even took the time to proof my new images and made sure that they met Smallwoods' suggested standards for optimal printing. Although I haven't received my canvases just yet, I was deeply impressed with the level of customer service provided by the Smallwoods team, and I wanted to share my positive experience with others considering making a purchase.

Looking back, I can understand why some people may have had issues with their orders, as Smallwoods makes it very clear on their website that returns are not possible for custom orders. It's also important to note that the company provides suggestions for ideal print quality, which can be found on their website. In my case, I simply overlooked this information and uploaded lower-quality images, but the Smallwoods team was quick to rectify the situation.

All in all, I would highly recommend Smallwoods to anyone in search of high-quality custom prints. While there may be hiccups along the way, the company's commitment to customer service is unparalleled. If you're considering making a purchase from Smallwoods, I urge you to take the time to read their guidelines and recommendations for optimal printing to ensure that you're getting the best possible product.

Smallwoods Disappointing Customer Service with Smallwoodhome.com: My Experience

I recently had an experience with smallwoodhome.com and wanted to share my thoughts. While I had some initial issues with the product, I must say that I was quite disappointed with the customer service I received. After receiving three costume canvases, I noticed that they were extremely dark and reached out to customer service for assistance. They informed me that the issue was likely due to a low resolution and suggested that I could return the items for a full refund or store credit. I was pleased with the quick response and began the return process through a link they provided.

However, when I attempted to use the link, I found that it was not functioning properly. Despite my attempts to sort the issue out through email correspondence, I did not have any success. After purchasing the canvases again, I contacted them once more and they informed me that I was beyond the 30 day return period. Frustrated, I reached out to ask for a phone number to speak with someone and was informed they did not have one.

To exacerbate the situation, when I reached out about the second set of canvases I had purchased, they informed me that costume orders could not be returned. This was quite puzzling, as they had suggested initially that I could return the first set for a refund or store credit. I was left feeling quite disappointed with the entire experience, and ultimately had to dispute the charges with my bank.

While I understand that issues can arise with any company, the lack of responsiveness and seeming inconsistency in their policies was quite disappointing. I ultimately found a better experience with another company and would caution others to be wary when considering smallwoodhome.com.

Smallwoods Smallwoods Review: Impeccable Prints & Great Value but Packaging Could be Improved

Smallwoods is an online store that offers custom prints, framed art and décor, and other home essentials. For a while now, I had been lured by their Facebook ads and customer feedback sections, which seemed to suggest that they were loved by all who made purchases there. I finally decided to place an order to have our family pictures taken in November blown up for Christmas. However, before doing so, I did a significant amount of research to make sure that my money would be well spent, as I came across several negative comments regarding quality issues.

Despite my trepidation, I decided to go ahead with my order after hearing positive feedback from some friends who had previously made purchases at Smallwoods, and also considering the unbeatable price and size of the frames they offered. I kept in mind some of the advice shared by satisfied reviewers, such as ordering through the website and using high-resolution photos. I also used Google Chrome and a computer, and to my delight, the shipping was quite speedy, considering the holiday rush.

Upon receiving my order, I quickly unpacked it and discovered that it was worth the wait! The pictures were impeccable, and the frames were superb quality. The value for the price was simply amazing. I wished, however, that the packing was more sturdy. There was no protection around the prints to prevent damage while in transit, and some of them were shipped in the same box, resulting in some knockings and bumping. Nonetheless, I was pleased with the packaging as it fit the frames well, and there was no other sign of damage.

All things considered, I was extremely happy with my product and the service I received at Smallwoods. If you are looking for a home decor and art store with an excellent selection, a seamless ordering process, and excellent customer service, I would definitely recommend Smallwoods. For packing, maybe you could add foam corners or bubble wrap to the frames and extra shipping tape to keep everything in place. I will definitely make a repeat purchase in the future, and you should too!

Smallwoods Unacceptable Quality and Poor Customer Service: My Smallwoods Experience

I recently had a very unpleasant experience with Smallwoods and I feel it's important to share. I placed an order for five pictures, only to receive two of them in terrible condition, with no protective packaging whatsoever. Both frames were damaged and one of them had a crease and a hole in the canvas from a broken clip. After contacting customer service, I was promised replacements, which arrived with the same lack of protective packaging. To make matters worse, these replacements were heavily tinted green, with over half of the intended colors faded and blurry. When I reached out to Smallwoods again, they refused to take responsibility, claiming it was a result of their printer and not a defective product. I was also offered a mere 20% refund for one of the pictures that was covered in marks, which was simply unacceptable. To add to my disappointment, I was surprised to learn that the prints were done on textured cardboard, instead of the expected canvas. This company clearly has a long history of consumer complaints dating back three years, with 236 complaints filed on BBB. This experience has left a very sour taste in my mouth and I would not recommend doing business with Smallwoods.

Smallwoods Disappointing Experience with Smallwoods: Poor Quality and Customer Service

I was really excited to support Smallwoods, a family-owned business, after seeing so many positive reviews on social media. I was planning to order several gifts for my family, but unfortunately, when my order arrived, three out of the four "woods" were damaged. The damage was not due to shipping, but rather poor packaging. While two of the items had only minor damage, one was so badly damaged that it was unusable and really detracted from the overall look of the gift. I reached out to customer service via email and was offered a 20% refund for the damaged items by a make it right specialist. While I quickly skimmed the email and thought I would receive 20% off my entire order, the refund I received was only for a portion of what I paid. When I called customer service to express my displeasure at the poor quality of my order and how the issue was being handled, I was met with a dismissive attitude and told that the partial refund was all they could offer and that they were not interested in arguing with me.

As a small business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen, but it is essential to take care of your customers when things go wrong. In my experience, Smallwoods failed in this regard. I expected them to replace the damaged item or offer a full refund, but instead, I was stuck with a measly 20% partial refund for an item that was essentially trash. This lack of customer service is unacceptable and has cost them my future business. I also learned that the "wood" used in these products is actually particle board and not genuine wood, which is not stated clearly on their website.

It's a shame because Smallwoods has the potential to create beautiful products, but the poor quality of the packaging and the subpar customer service make it difficult to recommend them to others. I know plenty of small businesses on Etsy that use real wood for similar projects and provide high-quality prints in various sizes while valuing their customers. Smallwoods needs to address these issues if they want to retain loyal customers. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Smallwoods and would not recommend them to others.

Smallwoods Disappointing Quality and Customer Service from Smallwoods: A Review

I gotta say, I was pretty bummed out when I got my order from Smallwoods. I had uploaded some real nice photos that were professionally done, but when they arrived, they were all blurry! I mean, come on, these were supposed to be high-quality prints. And to top it off, the frames looked unfinished. The seams were a different color than the black frame, which made it look real cheap.

So, I reached out to Smallwoods to see if they could do anything about it. They told me they had a screenshot of a pop-up I supposedly received before ordering. I don't know how that's possible, but whatever. There was only one pop-up message on one of the four pictures I uploaded, and I changed it right away. But they still wouldn't do anything for me. They just said sorry, but it was a custom order, so tough luck.

It's a real shame, too, because I was really excited to order from Smallwoods and build a full gallery wall over time. But now, I don't think I'll be ordering from them again. I'd recommend going with someone more professional, like Printique or something. Maybe other people have had better luck, but I sure didn't.

Smallwoods Smallwoods Review: Disappointed with Image Quality and Customer Service

When I ordered a picture from Smallwoods, I was excited to bring it home and display it in my house. However, upon receiving the package, I was disappointed to find that the image was incredibly blurry. I immediately reached out to their customer service team, hoping to find a solution to this problem. Unfortunately, I was informed that Smallwoods does not assume responsibility for the quality of the image during the printing process. Although they confirmed that the picture was blurry on their end, they offered me only a partial refund of 20%, which I found to be less than satisfactory. I was disappointed and frustrated with the lack of attention given to my concerns, as well as their unwillingness to provide a solution that would meet my needs.

I believe that Smallwoods should have been more conscientious when it came to the image quality, and should have let me know about the lack of clarity beforehand. If I had been informed, I would have submitted an alternate image, which would have eliminated the problem altogether. Instead, I was left with a less-than-stellar product and a disappointing experience with the company.

While I do appreciate the fact that Smallwoods provided a refund, I found the amount to be insufficient and the process to be a hassle. As a result of this experience, I am reluctant to use their services again. I feel that Smallwoods should place a higher priority on customer satisfaction and go above and beyond to address any issues that arise. In conclusion, I give Smallwoods two stars, not for their product quality or customer service, but for providing a partial refund.

Smallwoods Mistaken Photo and Poor Customer Service from Smallwoods

I recently ordered three large pictures of my children from Smallwoods, which I was excited to receive. When the first two pictures arrived and I opened them, they appeared to be fine. However, my excitement soon turned into disappointment when I opened the third box and found that instead of a picture of my son, it was a photo of a family that I did not recognize! This mistake left me feeling frustrated and annoyed, but I was determined to rectify the situation.

I decided to contact Smallwoods' customer support team in the hopes of getting the correct photo sent to me. After a bit of back-and-forth, they finally agreed to ship the right photo to me. However, when I received it, I was disappointed yet again to find that they had used the wrong color for the frame! The photo was framed in black, which did not match the brown frames used for the other two pictures that I had received.

I contacted Ellie from their support team once more and expressed my frustration that they had not gotten it right the first time. This time, I requested that they resend the picture with the correct framing as well as reimburse me for the cost of that image. However, I was told that Smallwoods would only replace the photo or refund me, but not both. This left me feeling upset and disappointed.

In the end, I reluctantly accepted their offer to replace the photo but vowed never to order from them again due to their poor customer service. It's unfortunate that my experience with Smallwoods was not a positive one, as there are many other companies out there that specialize in this kind of work and offer much better customer service.

Overall, it's best to avoid Smallwoods and seek out a more reliable and professional service that can deliver your expectations, safely and with quality control in place.

Smallwoods Beware of Smallwoods: High prices and poor customer service

I recently purchased over $600 worth of giant photos from Smallwoods, and while most of them turned out great, unfortunately one did not meet my expectations. When I reached out to their customer service for assistance, I was disappointed by their lack of concern and unwillingness to help. Despite the fact that these large prints cost $180 each, they refused to take any responsibility or offer any solution to my problem. This experience left me feeling that the company cares more about making a profit than providing quality products and excellent customer service.

I was initially happy with my experience with Smallwoods until I had to deal with their customer service. Frankly, I was shocked by the lack of care and attention they gave me as a customer who had spent a significant amount of money on their products. I believe it's unfair that they charge such high prices for these prints and refuse to stand behind them or offer any assistance when something goes wrong.

It's worth noting that Smallwoods does not allow negative reviews to be posted on their website, which seems disingenuous and unhelpful to potential customers. Instead, they prefer to sugarcoat the situation and pretend that they are perfect in every way. This dishonesty only adds to my disappointment with the brand.

Overall, I would advise anyone considering purchasing from Smallwoods to think twice about whether it's worth it. While some of their products are of good quality, their lack of customer support and high prices make it a risky investment. Don't make the same mistake I did - spend your money elsewhere where you can be sure of getting the quality and support you deserve.

Smallwoods Smallwoods Home Review: Frustrating Customer Service Experience

I had the pleasure of checking out Smallwoods' website, smallwoodhome.com, and was excited to place an order for two framed images. My anticipation grew as I waited for the items to arrive, but to my dismay, the package came with a huge footprint on the box, and one of the prints ended up being damaged as a result. This was certainly a frustrating turn of events, and I quickly reached out to Smallwoods by email to request a replacement.

To my disappointment, the company's initial response was not what I was hoping for. Instead of offering to replace the damaged print, they instead offered a measly 20% discount on a second order. This seemed like an unfair and unreasonable request, especially considering that I had already paid full price and waited patiently for the initial order to arrive. I decided to push back against this action and emailed Smallwood's customer service again, insisting that this was an unacceptable solution.

Finally, the company agreed to send me a replacement order, which I appreciated and received in a timely manner. However, the whole process left a bad taste in my mouth -- I felt like I had to fight tooth and nail for a product that should have arrived in good condition in the first place. I even called Smallwoods to try to get a better understanding of their customer service practices, but was left with the impression that they weren't committed to providing satisfactory solutions to their mistakes.

Overall, I would caution anyone who's considering ordering from Smallwoods to beware of their ethics and customer service practices. While I did eventually receive a replacement for my damaged item, the hoops I had to jump through to get there were frustrating and unnecessary. There are plenty of other online retailers that are more trustworthy and customer-friendly, and I'll be looking elsewhere for my future home decor needs.

Smallwoods Smallwoods' Unsatisfactory Customer Service and Product Quality Disappoints Bride-to-Be

As a bride-to-be, I was thrilled to come across Smallwoods and their promise of capturing the magical moments of my special day on photo. Excitedly, I placed an order for three photos of my wedding and eagerly awaited their arrival. When the photos arrived, I was taken aback to find that one of them was blurry and did not meet my expectations. Determined to resolve the situation, I followed the instructions on the Smallwoods website to report the issue and received an email response indicating that I had waited beyond the 24-hour period to report the issue and therefore, now there was nothing they could do for me.

Feeling desperate for a resolution, I decided to reach out to Smallwoods customer service via phone and explained the situation. To my dismay, they directed me to their portal to submit a ticket and would not provide me with any resolution over the phone. I complied and submitted a ticket, expecting a positive response. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed by the response I received - Smallwoods customer service insisted that there was no fixing the custom order and that it was my fault for using a low-quality photograph, although it matched those of my professional photographer. Irritated but still determined, I provided evidence proving that the photograph met their requirements, but Smallwoods continued to refuse to provide a refund and instead offered me a discount code for future purchases.

As much as I would love to give Smallwoods another chance, this experience left much to be desired. Spending over $100 on the order, I simply cannot justify spending more of my hard-earned money with a company that shows little empathy for their customers' concerns.

Smallwoods Smallwoods Customer Service: Disappointing Response to Damaged Product

As an avid shopper on Smallwoods (smallwoodhome.com), I have found myself admiring and purchasing multiple items which have consistently exceeded my expectations. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this company – until I received a framed print as a Christmas gift that unfortunately arrived with several wrinkles and divots in the corner of the print, and a bent frame that didn't lie flat against the wall.

My disappointment quickly turned to frustration when I contacted Smallwoods customer service in the hopes of requesting a replacement for the damaged item. Unfortunately, they refused to provide a replacement because the 30-day return policy had expired. This policy is understandable, but as the item was a Christmas gift, it had been ordered earlier and was only opened from the original packaging on Christmas day.

Upon speaking with the customer service representative, it was evident that the damage to my gift was not a unique occurrence. They explained it was a common issue with shipping, which often leads to other parcels being stacked on top of the boxes during transport, causing them to become damaged. This explanation did nothing to ease my frustration as I believed a known issue with their shipping standards should have led to them taking more responsibility for the damaged product and providing a replacement.

I've previously been an extremely happy and loyal customer of Smallwoods. However, the refusal to correct the damaged print has left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I hope they will re-evaluate their approach to customer service and delivery standards, as their merchandise and designs are truly unique and beautiful.

Smallwoods Disappointed with Smallwoods: Poor Quality and Customer Service

Recently, I've ordered three times from Smallwoods and have been left with mixed feelings. My first order was absolutely perfect, and the craftsmanship was evident. However, my second order was sent directly to a friend, so I never got to see it in person to assess the quality. Unfortunately, my third order was a complete and utter disappointment.

I had ordered the hanging frames once again, as they are a favorite of mine. However, when I received them, the photographs within the frames were grainy. Furthermore, the wooden pieces at the bottom of the frame were warped and uneven, causing the photos to hang at different heights. It took me painstakingly long to measure and hand-tie the twine to try and create some semblance of uniformity. Despite being let down, I reached out to customer service, hoping they would offer to make things right. But, unfortunately, I received a flat-out 'no' as a response. They informed me that once an order was placed, it was final. I felt utterly ignored, and customer satisfaction was not their priority.

It's frustrating to know that a company that produces excellent products at one time can drastically fall short in the next. It's even more frustrating to watch them disregard customer concerns. I shared my experience with the customer service representative, Mackenzie, and explained that I wouldn't be using their services again. Her solution was to send them images of the flawed prints and see if I could return two of the five I received. Unfortunately, this response wasn't particularly helpful, and it was clear to me that the company was uninterested in addressing legitimate concerns.

Overall, I find it very disappointing that Smallwoods would allow their quality to decline to this level. I sincerely hope that they take the necessary steps to rectify their mistakes and prioritize customer satisfaction moving forward. As for me, I will not be ordering from them again and would caution anyone considering doing so to think twice before they proceed.

Smallwoods Mixed Experience with Smallwoods: Lovely Products, Disappointing Customer Service

My experience with Smallwoods has been a mixed bag. On one hand, the items I have ordered have all been lovely and arrived on time. However, I recently made an error when placing an order and was disappointed with how their customer service handled it. After realizing I had ordered the wrong size, I immediately emailed the company but received an auto response that it could take up to 3 days before I heard back from a representative. I found this to be quite frustrating, as I wanted to rectify my mistake as soon as possible.

The next morning, I called Smallwoods and was placed on hold for quite some time before finally speaking with a representative. I was told that my order had already been printed and there was no way to cancel or modify it. I understand that it was my fault for making the error in the first place, but I was disappointed that there was no option available to rectify the situation. It seems that once an order is placed and printed, it is set in stone.

However, I do believe that Smallwoods could benefit from adding an option for customers to hold or cancel their orders within a certain window of time. It would be helpful for those of us who make mistakes or change our minds soon after placing an order. I was told that the printing takes place before customer service even comes in for the day, which means there is no opportunity to fix an order even if the customer realizes the mistake moments after placing the order.

Despite my negative experience with their customer service process, I do value the quality of Smallwoods' products and their speedy delivery. I will continue to order from them in the future, but will be extra careful when placing my orders to avoid any errors that cannot be fixed.

Smallwoods Unsatisfied with Smallwoods: Lack of Information and Communication

Hello there! Recently, I had an experience with Smallwoods and unfortunately, it left me feeling unsatisfied. As someone who was working on custom orders and uploading my own personal pictures, I expected a better system that could notify me if my images didn't have high enough pixels or resolution. I was told that they recommend 300 pixels per inch, but I couldn't seem to find this information anywhere on their website. To make matters worse, I never received a warning or notification on their website that my picture resolution wouldn't be good enough for the print size I was ordering.
As someone in the middle of a remodel, we had multiple other orders planned to be placed with Smallwoods, but it's safe to say that we will be taking our business elsewhere. This is especially disappointing when reading through other reviews where people have suggested updating the website to include information about pixel and resolution, and providing better customer service that messages the client to verify errors or potential blurry prints before wasting product that will ultimately end up in the trash.
With this being said, the only reason they received two stars from me is due to previous orders that we loved the quality of. I hope they can improve upon their ways and make the necessary changes to create a better experience for all their customers.

Smallwoods Smallwoods' Disappointing Customer Service: My Experience with Purchasing Photos - A Review

I had a really positive experience with smallwoodhome.com in the past, however, I wanted to share my experience with you about a recent order that unfortunately didn't go as smoothly. As a photographer myself, I was thrilled to order six large photos from Smallwoods website, however, I was left feeling incredibly disappointed when my black and white photos showed a distinct green and white discoloration that detracted from the quality and appeal of my images. Initially, I questioned if the lighting on my staircase was responsible for the contrast, but after several months of living with these photographs, I compared the bottom half of my staircase with the top and noticed a significant difference in the color.

I attempted to reach out to Smallwoods customer service line after months of trying to make peace with my order. They were quick to encourage me to send photos and were initially promising in their response. Unfortunately, their remedy to the problem was to offer me a 20% off promotion, similar to what they offer to all customers frequently on their website, which wasn't an acceptable solution given the amount I had spent on my order.

After another attempt to reach customer service, they declined offering me any further help because it had been more than 30 days since I had made my purchase. I was still struggling with the discolored images after 30 days, so it was disappointing to feel like the company had abandoned any responsibility for fixing the problem.

The lack of support from Smallwoods has left me extremely unhappy and feeling a bit robbed. As a result, I posted a review of my experience on Facebook, which the company subsequently removed and blocked me. I feel like this is indicative of a bigger problem; Smallwoods' customer service is not as reliable as it should be. I don't want anyone else to have the same experience as me, so I felt compelled to share my story. Ultimately, I've been left with a handful of poor-quality, unusable images sitting in my closet, that I regret purchasing.
