I closed on 10/27/2022 in Covington, GA and did my best to use the God-awful horrible portal to report everything going on with my new home by 9/27/2023. I've only heard back from one person and figured everything else would be handled slowly. I'm too busy with some health issues to revolve my life around businesses. I get a voicemail from David who claimed he's been trying to reach me to get repairs scheduled WHEN HE HASN'T. Probably because someone else bugged him about it, he's being nasty to me and saying I'd have to resubmit everything again if he can't get in touch with me. The first time he contacts me was yesterday 10/24/2023. Does that sound like he tried to reach out sooner? The heck I'll use that unfriendly goofy portal to enter everything again. He better get his act together.
I'm having some health issues, not to mention I operate during the night & sleep during the day. I called the number back that called me, and it was his personal phone. I woke him up, he yells that it's 10:30pm. Not my problem he doesn't have a work phone. I lose my temper and tell him I sleep during the day and nobody has contacted me about 99% of what's on the list. He hangs up on me, I text him back, he texts me back, I text him back. There's a theme of employees telling customers to be professional when they're not being professional. Blaming me for waiting until the last minute to contact me, then make up a lie that people have been trying to reach me, is unacceptable behavior. I don't get paid to be professional; he does.
I bet that's the only person I get to deal with for this subdivision. He leaves his voicemail box full and doesn't leave alternate ways of contacting him. I've dealt with this guy before. He had the audacity to tell me I better change my schedule to receive calls from him; he'll call in the morning. Who does he think he is with such an unprofessional demand? Employees of corporations are getting away with way too much and I don't want to deal with him. I'll find out who his boss is, because no way will we get anything done if he's salty about dropping the ball on his end. He needs to check his ego at the door.
Desired outcome: Have his boss contact me via email, since they have it. If he was serious and not lying, he would've reached out in more than 1 way.
How'd I miss rating this business as a whole? Okay, I give it 1 star and wish I could give it 0.
I send him a text around 6:30pm (next day) asking for the name of his boss. He continues to be snotty with a bad attitude and says it's after hours. Why respond to the text during after hours? He's just full of it. I text so what. He responds to the text but can't tell me who it is except between 8am to 4pm? I tell him his bad attitude is noted, and I don't care whether he responds that day or the next day. What a silly clown. No doubt he wants to spin a story that doesn't include everything I have in texts & the original voicemail from him. I modified the text to eliminate phone numbers. I'd add the voicemail, but that format isn't allowed in here.
This is BAD customer service and David shouldn't be working with homeowners. This is how these builders' employees behave after a house has been closed on.
