Eric the owner took care of every detail and we were very happy with everything. I highly recommend Spartan Stone & Monuments LLC.

Paid in full 9 1|2 months ago. Work was never done, one excuse after another. After several calls to Eric, he gave me a refund. I have been to the bank 7 times and called the bank several times and they say the check cannot be cashed because of lack of funds. Eric insists the money is there. Now I am getting ready to file a small claims writ because of this. It has consumed me emotionally and it has taken time from me to do all this paperwork. This is truly unacceptable, I am not the only person that has this problem there are others who are going through the same issues. This business is not reputable.

On March 9th, the *** / Spartan Stone Monument Co. cashed my check for the inscription on my husband's stone. Until now, I reckon it ain't done yet. I've tried emailing, calling, and leaving messages multiple times, but ain't getting no response. It's been two weeks since I last checked, and it's still not done. Y'all better look into this company. If they can't do it, I want my money back.

Our dad's foot stone still ain't done yet (he passed away in mid-January). We ordered the stone and put down a deposit in early March 2022. After they sent us a mock-up of the stone via email and our mom gave the thumbs up, we paid the rest of the balance. We got the canceled checks and receipt to prove it. But now, we're still waiting on the permit to put the stone at the grave. The cemetery director over at *** in *** says they haven't even applied for it yet. My brother's been talking to Eric, but all he gets is a bunch of excuses about how hard it is to get the stone and how the weather's been messing things up. They never told us that black stone (which we picked when we ordered) was so darn hard to get. But get this, my brother saw black stone just sitting there in Spartan's stone yard. We paid in full to cover the whole process of getting the foot stone done, from start to finish. All we want is for our dad's grave to be marked so we can start healing and find some closure.

I got a grave marker from Spartan Stone & Monuments LLC in June . I paid $500 upfront. They said they could match the design from a family member's marker made in the late 1970s. They claimed they found the design in their archives and said it would be ready by September . But it didn't happen. I called them many times, spoke to the owner and others, and got a bunch of excuses for the delay. In late November , they said the marker would be delivered by December 31st. They also said they would send me the bill for the remaining balance. I paid it before December 31st, trusting their word. But the marker still hasn't arrived. I've made countless calls and they keep promising it will be delivered. Now my lawyer is dealing with this company.

I'm writing to report a fraud investigation case on behalf of our family. On 08/18, my brother-in-law gave a $1000 deposit by check to Eric, who claimed to be the owner of Spartan Stone & Monuments LLC, to install a gravestone at our father's tomb. Eric promised to produce and install the gravestone by February 2022, so it would be in place within the first year since our father's passing on May 13th. However, it has not been done yet, even until now, 06/14/2022. We made multiple calls to Eric and the business representatives, asking about the completion date, but if we were lucky enough to reach them, they always promised it would be done in two weeks. We had to ask different family members to call because Eric and the representatives were not responding and avoiding our calls. In April 2022, our family visited the business and spoke to Eric again, who once again promised to complete the work within the next two weeks. Personally, I called Eric on Thursday, June 9th, 2022, and informed him that we would be filing a fraud investigation case with ComplaintsBoard.com. He promised to fix everything immediately and said he would contact me back on June 10th to provide an update on the completion. However, it was not done. We are seeking ComplaintsBoard.com's assistance in getting our money back since we no longer trust this business to complete the gravestone. However, we would be willing to accept the option of them finishing the job as soon as possible. The behavior of this business is a complete disgrace to our family. Thank you very much in advance!
