Job was scheduled and completed within days , not weeks or months. I was amazed at the professionalism ,that lacks so much in these days. They did such an admirable job two of my direct neighbors hired them as well, I would whole heartedly recommend Tony and Richard to any of my family or friends.

Mr. Lewis has completed several jobs for my company. Driveway and sidewalk work. Every job was on time and on budget. His concrete work and finish is excellent every time. Once the job is completed he met me for a final inspection. All forms and any debris was removed before I arrived. Thank you Sir! Owner WPS Solutions LLC

Special Design Concrete did a great job adding a pad for a shed as well as tearing up part of our driveway which had major cracks. They redid the driveway and also add an extension to it. The only hiccups we had were due to weather, which is no ones fault. We paid a fair price, and are very satisfied with the work Mr. Lewis performed. We. Will call him again, for any future projects.

Special Design Concrete recently poured a wrap around driveway for us. The forms and pour were perfect in addition to repairing our existing driveway to give us a cohesive look. I highly recommend Tony and his crew as they were prompt for each scheduled visit and communicated on a regular basis. Very friendly work crews and very respectful to your property during the project and cleaned up all excess debris when completed.

Special Design Concrete and his crew were easy to work with, cheerful, hard-working, dependable, and professional. It's obvious that they enjoy their work. They gave us a fair estimate, and were able to work us into their schedule in a timely manner. They completed the task of pouring 2 sidewalks and replacing part of our driveway and did a superb job. We would highly recommend this company. If we could give them 10 stars, we would!

I strongly do NOT recommend them for any concrete work for the following reasons: 1.failure to complete the project although asked for money upfront 2.repeatedly did NOT show when he said he would 3. when he showed up, it was not when he said he would---usually close to evening is when he did show 4.did not completely clean-up after his work, still debris left that other people have had to deal with and, 5.a job that should have taken several days turned into weeks because of above reasons. His favorite saying is "I've got your back," but he never did.

Mr. Lewis and his crew were a pleasure to deal with! The process from the time I asked him to look at the area I wanted my driveway installed to completion was 4 days. I met him Wednesday morning, he came by Thursday morning, gave me a quote Thursday evening, started prep Friday, completed the pour Saturday, and cut the expansion joints Sunday. My neighbors complement me daily about how good it looks and how quickly it was completed. Who knew something as simple as a driveway could add so much to a house! Thank you Special Design Concrete for an amazing job!

Mr. Lewis and his crew was true professionals. We hired this company after Mr. Lewis came out and gave us a free quote. We wanted a 13x24 concrete patio put in after hurricane Sally destroyed the patio we had there before. He explained the prosses of doing the job so that there were no surprises. They were on time and completed the job in the time frame that was established. They were courteous and called ahead before the came out and let us know if they were running behind. They cleaned up after each day so that there was no trash, debris, tools, or anything laying around when they were done. This was a great experience for us overall.

Tony replaced a driveway for me. It was not a large job, but a difficult one. I had to removed a huge oak tree that was destroying the driveway. Very large roots interlaced the path of the drive and had to be removed and part of the trunk had to be ground further. Tony was very accommodating. He brought in extra equipment to remove the roots and had a grinder come in to complete the grinding. The drive also had to be redesigned and Tony gave good suggestions, listened to my suggestions and came up with a plan that was most satisfactory. In addition, Tony replaced the sidewalk from the driveway to the front entrance and refinished the entrance at no additional cost. I am very pleased with the final product.

As far as the actual concrete work goes, the company did a good enough job with several exceptions, but it failed miserably on promptness, follow-through, completion of all tasks associated with laying concrete and overall dependability. What should have been a two or 3-day job turned into weeks of duration. I was regularly promised that the company would be over on a specific date and time only to be disappointed time and time again with its failure to arrive as promised. It was frustrating to see what should have been a short-term job languish while good sunny days suitable for concrete work went past and once again I had to wait to see whether or not the company would show up. This was truly an anxiety-driven project. For these reasons, I would not use the company again.

HIGHLY recommend Mr. John Smith and crew for residential concrete work in the Escambia/Santa Rosa county area! My project consisted of a new wrap-around driveway and a backyard patio area. After our first discussion, I had an estimate within minutes! John was very communicative during the entire process, which was a breath of fresh air compared to a previous contractor we had hired. The game plan was to pour the backyard on a Saturday and pour the front driveway the following week, but John and his team hustled and got everything squared away that Saturday! The crew came back the next day and spent a few hours on cleanup, spraying, etc. The workmanship was fantastic and we are very grateful that Mr. Smith and his team were able to complete this job on short notice, and without delay. Five Stars!

I was looking for someone to repair or replace a very small concrete pad. Very quickly after submitting the info to ComplaintsBoard.com Tony Lewis from Special Design Concrete called. He was able to come out and look at the job and offered various options. I explained that we would need some time to discuss the different options and to make a decision. By the time we talked the next day our decision had been made. He was able to come out that day and do the job. It looks way better than it did originally so many years ago. He is very professional and did what we wanted done. It was a small job but with crumbling concrete it was becoming a safety concern. Thanks to Tony and staff for doing such a fantastic job so quickly. If we ever have another concrete project he will be the person I call. Finally a contractor that calls back and shows up as promise.

These folks are FANTASTIC! They did absolutely everything they said was going to happen, when they said it would happen, and their work was outstanding. Mr. Tony Lewis, is just a great person. When he says something, he means it. He is an honorable man. His word is his bond. He is customer oriented and is NOT satisfied unless the customer is satisfied. All the fine individuals that work for him were wonderful, extremely hard working, and knew their stuff with regards to their profession. We would ask Tony of Special Design Concrete, and his folks, first and foremost, to do any future projects we might have. In our estimation, this was a huge job that required quite a bit of skill. There was zero damage while they removed a vast amount of concrete in and around our garage, driveway, and entryway to our house. They finished it all in record time and considering how bad the weather has been with all the rain, that just adds to their overall credibility as a company. Thank You Tony...and the word is out about you and your company and all the fine folks that work with you, and that word is GREAT!

I hate that it had to come to this... First off, Tony came recommend from a co-worker and he spoke highly of him so I decided to give Tony a shot... My concrete got poured on the 25th of August and everything looked great from what I could see. A few days passed by and the crew came back by to take down the form. I asked Tony if he was going to clean the mess off my HOUSE, GLASS back door & clean the concrete splatter that they go onto the existing concrete... He said yes and made other promises...It is now October 28 I have had some calls/text with Tony and he always sets a date to come by and clean up. Then I get ghosted and don't hear anything from him. 1. I am upset because my back porch /house is now worse looking than before the concrete work. Months have passed by and I have given Tony plenty of chances to make this right and nothing has been resolved. 2. I took Tony for his word/bond and it means nothing to me now. I trusted in him that he would come back by and clean up his mess. He even brought me a pressure washer and told me I could clean the back of my house off etc... the pressure washer didn't even work... My first thought is why should I have to clean up the mess you and the crew made? 3. My back porch/house should have been masked off to mitigate the concrete splatter. Lastly, I would not recommend Special Design Concrete to any of my family/friends. I would hate for them to endure this massive headache of mine.
