Impression kit is terrible.
The impression making form that goes ion your mouth is a hard plastic form that is painful to use and made my mouth sore for days after. It didn't fit my mouth and because of that, I couldn't get a good impression. After four attempts, I gave up and got most of my money back. Customer service seems okay to deal with but it also takes a month to get your retainers. I had to send mine back because they fit terribly and wouldn't fit flush against my back teeth. I was told by their customer service that that was common to have a bad fit on the molars and that I may have to cut the back part of the retainer off. Seriously?! Also, I was to get two upper retainers made from the more expensive and stronger material Essex plus but only one of the two was made from that material, the other was thin and flexible and not what I paid extra for.
Recommendation: Go elsewhere you may pay a little more but the quality is lacking with Sporting Smiles.
Sporting Smiles: Affordable and Effective Teeth Guards with Top-Notch Customer Service
I just gotta say, I got me some guards from Sporting Smiles and they're the real deal. I got two of 'em - the Dual Laminate Teeth Grinding Day Guard and the Flexible Super Hard Night Guard (Back Cut). I was mainly using the Dual Laminate one, but I was grinding so hard that I ended up separating the layers. But hey, it was still usable, I just had to nest the layers together before putting it on. Then, one day, my guard went missing (probably my dog's doing) so I started using the back cut one and let me tell ya, I like that one so much more. It feels more hardy, like it can take a beating. So, I went ahead and reordered that one.
Now, let me tell you about the process of making your own impressions. It wasn't easy, I'll admit that. I originally wanted bottom guards, but I had a hard time getting the impression right. But the team at Sporting Smiles was so helpful and kind, they even sent me extra putty when my first couple tries were flops. In the end, I switched to a top guard because that was easier for me to do. But hey, that's just me.
Overall, I gotta say, the customer service at Sporting Smiles is top-notch. And the best part? It's more affordable than going to the dentist office. So, if you're in the market for some guards, I highly recommend giving Sporting Smiles a try. You won't regret it.
Mixed Experience with Sporting Smiles: Easy Ordering, Poor Customer Service and Delivery Issues
I gotta say, I was pretty happy with the online ordering process for Sporting Smiles. I was in a new place and needed a new pair of retainers, and it was super easy to get them through their website. I went for the "plus" retainers, which are supposed to be thicker, but I gotta say, they crack pretty easily. I've had to reorder new sets before a full year passes, and the discount for reorders isn't all that great.
But the real issue I've had with Sporting Smiles is their customer service. They've given me all sorts of different and misleading information, and it's been a real headache. For example, I wouldn't have gone for international shipping if they had told me up front that it would take 10 weeks instead of the 10 days it says online, or the 3 weeks they previously emailed me. And I'm not the only one who's had delivery issues - other customers on Better Business Bureau have reported the same thing.
I've also had to ask multiple times for them to pay outstanding taxes and submit required documentation for customs, and they wouldn't give me a straight answer about whether they had done so. It's pretty frustrating, and it makes me think there might be some issues with international customs.
All in all, I'm not sure I would order from Sporting Smiles again. The online ordering was convenient, but the customer service and delivery issues have been a real pain.
Sporting Smiles Whitening Kit Review: Missing Items, Poor Quality, and No Communication
So, I watched this video about Sporting Smiles and decided to order their whitening kit. They said that I would get an extra mold set to take a mold for the whitening tray and Whitening Gel, but guess what? I didn't receive either of those items. I contacted customer service and they told me that it would be in the shipment of retainers, but it wasn't. I don't even think that I received the official retainer because what I got was an extremely flimsy non-tooth conforming tray with my name written across the front teeth. Like, seriously? If this isn't just a whitening tray, why would you write visible writing across the front teeth on something that's supposed to be invisible aligners? They don't click to the teeth or stay in place at all. I verified that my entire tooth impression was in the mold with gumline, but still, no luck. I sent a complaint with photos a week ago, but I haven't heard anything back. I'm 100% dissatisfied with the quality and communication!
Disappointing experience with Sporting Smiles: Ill-fitting retainers and poor customer service
I've been a customer of Sporting Smiles for a good while now, but I gotta say, this year might be the last time I use their services. Usually, I get my kit delivered and my retainer fits like a glove a week later. But this time, I got a wonky upper retainer that didn't fit at all. It was like they made it with their eyes closed or something. So, I asked them to send me another impression kit, but they said no. They said they could fix it in the lab if I just sent them some pictures.
I tried calling customer service, but they didn't wanna hear it. They just told me to email them. So, I did. And now, three months later, I've got three retainers that still don't fit me. Instead of letting me take a new impression and fixing the problem, they keep insisting on tweaking the old one that clearly doesn't work.
I finally asked for a refund, but they want ALL the retainers back and they wanna charge me a processing fee for their shoddy work. Like, seriously? I didn't keep all those old, ill-fitting retainers that have been in my mouth, and I'm not gonna pay them for a refund. It's really disappointing to see them go downhill like this.
I had the same bad experience, never again.
Affordable and High-Quality Retainers and Night Guards - My Experience with Sporting Smiles
I've been using Sporting Smiles for a while now and I gotta say, it's been a lifesaver. I had just gotten my braces off and was feeling pretty good about my teeth, but then disaster struck. I accidentally left my retainers in my pants and they went through the wash and dryer. Talk about a nightmare! I went to my orthodontist to see how much it would cost to replace them and they hit me with a $600 price tag. I was devastated.
But then I found Sporting Smiles online and I couldn't believe how affordable it was. For just $130, I was able to replace both my upper and lower retainers. They sent me an impression maker, which wasn't exactly easy to use, but if you're careful, you'll be fine. A few weeks later, I got my new retainers and they fit perfectly. I was so relieved!
Since then, I've ordered from Sporting Smiles for replacements and other night guards for myself and my wife. My dentist and orthodontist aren't too happy about it, but they can't argue with the results or the price. And the customer service is great too! It seems like a small business and I've even had the chance to talk to the owner, Evan, a few times. He's super helpful and really cares about his customers.
Overall, I highly recommend Sporting Smiles. It's affordable, the products are high quality, and the customer service is top-notch. Don't waste your money on expensive retainers and night guards from your orthodontist or dentist. Give Sporting Smiles a try!
Sporting Smiles Review: Disappointing Service and Non-Answers
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Sporting Smiles. I placed my order over a month ago and they told me they had my impressions. But then, they only made the lower portion of my mouth guard and charged me the full price of $65. What gives? And to make matters worse, I also ordered two upper essix retainers, but they sent me an impression kit instead because they said they no longer had my impression. I've been trying to get answers from them for the past week, but they keep evading my questions. They sent me a response that was supposed to pacify me, but it didn't really answer anything. I asked for an update on my order, but apparently they can only check the lab once a day. What kind of excuse is that? They couldn't even email, text, or call the lab? And then they told me they only had the lower impression because my name was in their database under two different spellings. That doesn't make any sense to me. I also asked for an extension on making a new impression because I injured my tooth, but they didn't respond. And when I asked for a total refund, they didn't respond either. It's like they're purposely giving me non-answers. I've been a long-time customer and I've never had this kind of problem before. I can only assume they sold to new owners or something. Either way, I wouldn't recommend using this company anymore. They're just horrible.
Affordable and Convenient Retainers from Sporting Smiles: A Review
Got my second set of retainers from Sporting Smiles and they fit great! I was a bit unsure at first about buying retainers online. My dentist wanted $500 and that seemed like a lot for a small piece of plastic. But then I saw that Sporting Smiles had a lot of good reviews and a guarantee, so I thought I'd give them a shot. I took upper and lower impressions and the lower one was good, but I messed up the upper one the first time. I called them up and they told me what I did wrong. Luckily, there were extra supplies included and I was able to get a good upper impression the second time around.
I sent everything back and it took about 2 weeks to get the retainers back. The retainers were nice and clear and fit perfectly. I was amazed at how easy it was and how I saved about $400 by ordering online. I wore the retainer for about a month with no issues and then got an email saying I could order a second one without having to take another impression. I thought it was a good idea to have a backup and not have to mess with taking an impression again. The material seems to be exactly the same as what my dentist was using. Ordering online is a great way to save money and not have to make 2 trips to the dentist to get retainers. Overall, I'm really happy with my experience with Sporting Smiles and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for affordable retainers.
Sporting Smiles Destroyed My Records After One Year: A Terrible Business Model
I gotta say, I was pretty happy with the product I got from Sporting Smiles. In fact, I liked it so much that I even ordered another set of retainers from them just last year. But then, disaster struck. I had a major fall and messed up my teeth, and now I need a new retainer to reset them. So, I called up Sporting Smiles to see if they still had my records on file. And what did I find out? They destroy all records after just one year! Can you believe that?
I mean, come on. I paid full price to go through the initial impressions, and then I ordered another set of retainers from them. And now they're telling me that they don't have my records anymore? That's just plain idiotic. When I asked why they do this, they gave me some lame excuse about receiving thousands of impressions and not being able to keep all of them. Well, I've got news for them. If Amazon had that mindset, they'd be out of business in no time.
So, here's the thing. Sporting Smiles needs to upgrade their cloud storage or something. It's a terrible business model to destroy records of someone who has already done one reorder and is very likely to do another. Unless, of course, they just want their customers to have to go through the full price of redoing their impressions all over again. In my case, that's just not an option. My teeth are wrecked, and my dentist was really excited to know that I had these impressions on record with Sporting Smiles because they could be hugely beneficial in getting my teeth back to normal.
Honestly, I'm just so disappointed in the lack of procedural management within this organization. I'm sure somewhere in the fine print they claim that they only hold records for one year, but that still doesn't make any sense from a business perspective whatsoever. Sporting Smiles needs to get their act together and start keeping records for longer periods of time. Otherwise, they're going to lose a lot of customers like me who are just fed up with this kind of nonsense.
Sporting Smiles Review: Terrible Customer Service and Missing Products
I gotta say, I ordered some teeth whitening stuff from Sporting Smiles and it was a bit of a mess. Me and my partner got two packs with the whitening light, which cost me a pretty penny to get shipped all the way to NZ. I even splurged on some extras, spending over 100 bucks in total. But when the package arrived, some of the products were missing! No explanation or nothing. So I hit up customer service to see what the deal was.
Let me tell ya, they were not very friendly in their response. No "sorry" or "my bad", just a curt message saying they were out of stock. But get this - they were still selling the stuff on their website! So how could they be out of stock? I had to keep bugging them to get any kind of response, and even then they only offered me a measly $10 refund. I mean, come on, I bought two packs! And they cost way more than 10 bucks each. I told them I wanted the lights I paid for, not some half-assed refund. But they had the nerve to tell me the lights don't even do anything! Then why are they selling them, huh?
To make matters worse, I also asked about the blue protective gel that came with the kit. It looked all cloudy and weird, not like the clear picture on the website. And since this stuff is going in my mouth, I was a bit worried. But did they offer any explanation or reassurance? Nope. And don't even get me started on the caps that kept falling off the other gels, making a big ol' mess.
Look, I could deal with all the product issues if the customer service wasn't so terrible. But the fact that they didn't even say "hi" or apologize for their mistakes is just plain rude. They're keeping money they shouldn't have, selling products they don't even believe in, and not giving a damn about their customers. That's just scary, man.
Beware of Hidden Costs: My Experience with Ordering Bite Guard Retainers
I reckon you should check out all the companies that can help you with your dental needs before you make a decision. I paid $140 for two bite guard retainers, like they said on the website. I got the impression kit and made impressions for myself and my husband because we both grind our teeth like crazy. I thought it was fair since I was paying a lot of money for the product.
After I sent the impressions, it took almost two weeks for my package to arrive. But when my mail lady came to my door, she asked me to pay $7 for shipping. I was confused because I had already paid for shipping when I ordered the product. Plus, I live in Wisconsin, which is only an hour away from the company. So why did I have to pay extra?
When I opened the package, I saw that I got two retainers that were exactly the same. I emailed the company to tell them about the mistake, and they said that I sent two upper impressions. But they never told me that I couldn't do that, and they never asked me which impression I wanted them to use. They just picked one and sent it to me.
I paid $140 for two retainers, but I only got one. I asked them to make the other one with the impression that I didn't use, and I said I would make a lower impression to meet their demands. But they said I had to pay another $15 for another impression set. So I did, and two weeks later, my mail lady came to my door again and asked for another $7 for shipping.
Finally, I got the products I paid for, but I ended up paying way more than I expected. So just be careful and watch out for extra costs.

Sporting Smiles Retainer Review: Cool Concept, But Slow Delivery Time
Getting a retainer from Sporting Smiles is pretty cool. I mean, who wants to go to the dentist and deal with all that hassle? But, I gotta say, it took way longer than I thought it would. I get it, COVID is messing everything up, but come on. The website said it would take 10 days, and I ended up waiting 5 whole weeks. So, if you're in a rush, I wouldn't recommend this. But, if you've got some time to spare, it's worth checking out.
Sporting Smiles: Not Worth the Time or Money - Retainers Causing Teeth Alignment Issues
Yo, so I gotta say, I sent my impressions to Sporting Smiles a few years back and the retainers they sent me fit like a glove. No complaints there. But then, I had to reorder a couple times 'cause the retainers started getting loose and not doing their job. And lemme tell ya, these new ones they sent me are straight up messing with my teeth alignment. Not cool, man. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time and money with this company.
Disappointing Experience with Sporting Smiles: A Review
So, I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with Sporting Smiles. I was hoping to get a retainer from them, but it just didn't work out. The production team kept rejecting my mold because of some cracking in their putty. And then they sent me these canned emails with all these excuses about why my picture of the mold didn't meet their expectations. It was super frustrating, let me tell you. And then they had the nerve to offer to sell me more materials! Like, come on guys, I already paid for this stuff. I don't want to have to keep buying more just because your putty can't handle it. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Sporting Smiles. It's just not worth the hassle.

Poor Customer Service and Impression Denials at Sporting Smiles
Been using Sporting Smiles for a long time now, but last month they denied 4 of my impressions without even telling me. Their customer service is not good at all, and they didn't give me a good reason why my impressions were denied. It was a complete waste of 2 months waiting for my night guard, and they didn't even bother to communicate with me. I suggest finding another company to work with.
Disappointing Quality and Frustrating Process: My Experience with Sporting Smiles Retainers
Sporting Smiles is a company that makes retainers from your moulds. They take a while to process your moulds, which can be a bit frustrating. I had to send my impressions back three times before they were finally approved. I followed the instructions properly, so I don't know why they were rejected. It seems like they just wanted to make more money off of me.
Once I finally got my retainers, I was disappointed with the quality. My upper retainer broke after less than a year of use. The material they use is cheap and not very durable. I expected better quality for the price I paid.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Sporting Smiles. The process was frustrating and the quality of the product was disappointing. There are probably better options out there for getting retainers made.
Disappointing Experience with Sporting Smiles: Refusal to Make Custom Fit Item and Partial Refund
Yo, I've been waiting for a dope custom fit item from Sporting Smiles for like 2 months now. But they straight up refused to make me a 3rds bottom retainer, like what's up with that? I talked to them and they were all like "100% satisfaction guaranteed" but that's just a bunch of bull. And to top it off, they're only giving me a partial refund. Like, come on man, that's not cool. They said I can keep the top and they'll give me a measly 20 bucks back. I asked for a full refund but they said no way because I used the whitening kit. Ugh, this whole thing has been a major bummer.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Sporting Smiles
I been using Sporting Smiles for about 8 years now and I gotta say, when I 1st started using them I was super impressed. But lately, it seems like their customer service is getting worse and worse. I ordered some retainers on November 30th and it's already December 21st and I still haven't received anything. I mean, come on, you'd think that reorders would be faster since they already have my impressions, but nope. And to make matters worse, they won't even return my emails or phone calls. That's just not cool, man.
Sporting Smiles Review: Frustrating Impression Process and Hidden Fees
I tried Sporting Smiles and it was a bit of a hassle. I sent them a picture of my impressions and they said it was good, but then they emailed me saying the impression wasn't good enough and I needed to pay $15 for another kit. This happened to me twice, and I had to take impressions about seven times. I left the impressions in my mouth for about 7 minutes, but they still said that some smear appeared like 5 times.
I asked for a refund, but they took $15 out of my refund and said it was for shipping the product. It felt like a whole scam to me. It was frustrating to go through the process multiple times and still not get a good result.
I wish they had been more clear about the process and what to expect. It would have saved me a lot of time and money. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Sporting Smiles.
Disappointing Experience with SportingSmiles Retainer Kit: Poor Quality and Customer Service
I got my retainer kit from SportingSmiles back in June. They kept asking me to do my impressions over and over again because they said they weren't good enough. Finally, they said my impressions were okay and they sent me the retainer. But when I got it, it was not good. It only covered half of my teeth and it was not stable. I emailed them and they said they couldn't make it any better. Can you believe that? So I sent it back and they gave me less money than I paid for it in the first place! It took them a couple of months to give me my refund too.
Disappointing Durability: My Experience with Sporting Smiles Retainers
So, I had this retainer from my dentist that lasted me over a decade, but it finally broke. I was looking for a cheaper option and stumbled upon Sporting Smiles. At first, I was really happy with my purchase because it was so much less expensive than what I had paid for my previous retainer. However, I didn't realize that the durability of the product would be compromised.
After only three years of use, my Sporting Smiles retainer broke. I have no idea how or when it happened, but it was definitely a bummer. Meanwhile, my bottom retainer (which was also from my dentist) was still perfectly fine. I reached out to Sporting Smiles to see if they could help me out, but it took them a whole week to get back to me. When they finally did, they told me that they couldn't do anything for me because they no longer had my impressions on file. Apparently, they only keep them for one year. To make matters worse, their warranty period is only 30 days from the final ship date.
Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience. I don't think I'll be using Sporting Smiles again in the future. It's just not worth the risk of having to replace the product so soon.
