Special thanks to our salesman Marcus ! He explained the whole process up front & the work was done the way he said it would be done. They sent a big enough crew so that the roof was stripped, needed plywood replaced and the roof was "dried in " , water tight in one day. Very professional people, highly recommend them! Our roof looks great! Also they cleaned up as they went, you wouldn't even know that any work was done, they did what they said they would do, which is a lot in these times
We are very happy with the quality and workmanship provided by Roman Roofing. Because of the number of homes being constructed, I was somewhat apprehensive that the materials would arrive on time. They did and we were extremely happy that the roof was completed according to the schedule provided by our salesman, Frankie. The workers cleaned up every day and you would not have known that there was a roof being installed. Any and all issues were addressed. Very pleased with Roman and would recommend them wholeheartedly!

I gotta say, my experience with Stuller was not great. I wouldn't even give them one star if I could. They seem to be really unprofessional and don't seem to care about their customers. However, when it came time to return the ring on the 10th day, I ran into a bit of trouble. The ring was postmarked for the 10th day, but I wasn't sure when Stuller actually received it. Unfortunately, I was charged a restocking fee of $25.00. When I called to explain that I had a postal receipt, I was informed that Stuller only goes by when they receive the item in-house.
I was frustrated by this policy, as I felt that 10 days should actually mean 10 days. Stuller starts the 10 day Memo period when they mail the item, so in reality, you only have 9 days to decide if you want to keep it. While Stuller did offer to extend the Memo period if I had called, I didn't think it was necessary since I mailed the item on the 10th day.
Overall, I think Stuller needs to overhaul their Memo policies. My suggestion to other customers would be to simply order the item you want to show a customer and then you'll have 30 days to return it. If you're asked if you want it sent on Memo, you might want to consider just billing it instead.
Despite this issue, I still think Stuller has a lot to offer. Their website is easy to navigate and they have a wide selection of products. If they can improve their Memo policies, I would definitely consider shopping with them again in the future.

Some of my friends in the business have subscribed to Stuller's 'Concierge Service' for $199/year. They have said that Stuller is expensive, but they're so convenient! However, you need to order at least 20 times a year to make it worth the cost. I've been in the business for over 40 years now and I prefer to work with local stone suppliers that I've known for almost as long. But, if I have to order from Stuller, I get hit hard with their "regular" shipping rates. So, I feel like I'm dealing with a corporation more and more rather than a family-owned business. It's so sad.
Despite these issues, I still think that Stuller is a great company to work with. Their salespeople are knowledgeable and helpful. They have a wide selection of products that are of high quality. I totally agree with the other reviewers about Stuller. They used to be a great company with excellent service, but now they don't seem to care about their customers at all. I recently had a bad experience with them when they messed up on one of the pieces I ordered. They promised to ship it on a certain date, but they didn't. When I contacted customer service, they said they would fix it and adjust the invoice, but they never did. It was their fault, not mine, but they didn't want to take responsibility for it. Their customer service is terrible, and they don't seem to care about helping you at all.
Another thing I noticed is that they charge more for labor for the same item done in silver than they do for 18K Rose Gold. That doesn't make any sense to me. Plus, I discovered that the weight of the piece I purchased is heavier than what they listed on their website, so they charged me more for it. That's not fair at all.
I've been a long-time customer with Stuller, but I'm really disappointed with them now. Their quality has gone down, and their customer service is non-existent. I had several special orders done, but now I feel like I want to return them and get a full refund. I don't feel like I got what I paid for, and I'm not happy about it at all. They need to be more upfront about their labor costs and be more honest about the items they list on their website.
Our entire process with Roman Roofing was positive. Mark S. -who gave the estimate- was very thorough in explaining the products available and detailing the process. He was by far the best of all three companies we had provide estimates. During the construction process, Devon kept us apprised of when each stage would happen. Work crews showed up as scheduled and the roof was installed in a timely fashion. We are very pleased with our new metal roof. While metal roofs cost more than shingle, we felt it was the right choice for us, and Roman Roofing was competitive with the other estimates we received.
When I decided to get a new roof, I went to my go to guy to see who he would recommend. A Cape Coral realtor for over 30 years and a close friend, he knows the best trades people. Especially after reading reviews and talking to my friend, the decision was easy. From the first call to their office, through the whole process, it was a good experience. This is the 3rd home that I've owned but the 1st that I've had to replace the roof. The workers were courteous and worked very hard. They cleaned up after themselves and treated my property with respect. I will recommend them in the future. My roof looks great and I'm glad that I decided to use Roman Roofing. Roman Roofing was hired to replace my shingle roof in late July . As far as I know the shingles are doing their job as the roof is not leaking. The problem is Roman Roofing did a lot of damage to much of the gutters, soffits, flashing, fascia and interior damage from the skylight replacement. I even had shrubbery damage from tarps placed over them in extremely hot weather. I also had to replace a tire on my truck that was ruined by some sort of roofing tool. I started complaining to Roman Roofing about the damage right away. They really didn't care to hear it, but they did make a feeble attempt to fix a thing or two since they wanted their money. I called the salesman, Eray T., that sold the job to us. He came by and listened to my complaint and we went on the roof to look at the damage. At some point Eray was no longer working with Roman Roofing, so A guy named Dave T. got with me about my complaint. At first he sounded like he cared. As time went on I have found that he did not. They brought in a guy from RAMS Construction to look at the damage that needed to be fixed. He said he could do the job and make me happy. He sent a guy that got on my roof for about an hour and if he did anything I couldn't tell it. I pointed to several areas that he was supposed to fix and I got a blank stare. I told him to tell Roman Roofing they needed to call me. Long story short, Roman Roofing did a lot of damage to my house. They have sent people here, although they were not happy about it, and the job is just not getting done. I did not pay them because of their shoddy work. I have told them I would like for them to fix the problem so I can pay them. Now they are threatening to file a Lien on my house. I welcome the ComplaintsBoard.com to come look at the damages. The staff was amazing... Frank in sales really helped with explaining what needed to be done after storm damage... Alex our crew foreman was amazing..., the crew came in... got the job done quickly , had a "Roofing Grandma" overseeing the crew and cleanup... She was great keeping the crew hydrated and my yard cleaned up after...Reminded me of my Grandma with her 9 kids! Robin in the business office was awesome getting all the $$ arranged. The gutter guys came in...and just as quickly we're gone ... After doing an amazing job! Alex ran my vent broom down my dryer vent on the roof , cleaning out that potential fire hazard! Today I have Wind Mitigation experts coming so I can get a discount on my insurance... (that service is covered by Roman Roofing's price... I definitely would recommend them! Been a customer of Stuller for 30 years now, and I gotta say, their quality control is non-existent. I mean, come on, how hard is it to make sure your products are up to par before shipping them out? And when I do receive something that's not up to snuff, all I get are excuses and constant apologies. It's like they don't even care about their customers anymore. Sorry Stuller, but if you don't care, then neither do I.
Disappointed with Stuller's Quality Control: Crooked Rings Received Twice
So, I decided to give Stuller a try and ordered a ring from their website. However, when I received the ring, I noticed that the head was crooked in the x direction. I was really disappointed and decided to return it and order a replacement. But guess what? The second ring that I received was also crooked, but this time in the y direction. I was really frustrated and couldn't understand how these rings were passing quality inspections.
I mean, come on Stuller, you guys are supposed to be a reputable jewelry company. I expected better from you. I had to go through the hassle of returning the rings and waiting for replacements, only to receive more defective products. It's really disappointing and makes me question the quality of your products.
I hope Stuller takes this feedback seriously and improves their quality control process. As a customer, I expect to receive products that are free from defects and meet my expectations.
