We absolutely LOVE Summit Appliance / Summit Appliance Inc. They distribute appliances with outstanding design and function, and customer service is the best we've ever experienced. We currently own two refrigerators, and plan to buy a dishwasher. Recently our beautiful and usually silent older FFBF240W fridge started ticking like a timebomb. We knew it was sick - prayed it was repairable. In far northern rural Midwest, our appliance repair options are few, far - and very pricey. The technician at Summit Appliance was AMAZING. He walked me step by step through diagnosis; said it sounded like a failing defrost timer, hand-picked the part for shipment, and provided clear instructions for the simple replacement process. The part was delivered in half the estimated time, replacement was exactly as easy as promised - and our refrigerator is working perfectly again. A++ 5-star business. We tell everyone to buy Summit Appliances.

We bought the Summit wine chiller in December from Lowes
We bought the Summit wine chiller in December from Lowes. The fridge was nice while it lasted but a month ago it stopped working. We filed a warranty claim with Summit and got a case number. Their warranty support hasn't followed through with promises regarding servicing the unit. We've had to keep calling for updates and are always told our case is being sent to support and we'll get a call back, which never happens. We were even told to suggest any known service providers and they would contact them. It's unclear why Summit can't find service repair technicians themselves, as I would if it wasn't under warranty. This experience has deterred us from buying any future appliances from Summit Appliance or Lowes.

Such professionals. Everyone I dealt with. My beloved refrigerator really had a problem. But the technician was like a skilled surgeon. Knew the problem immediately. And fixed it fabulously. I cannot recommend this group enough.
I purchased an under counter freezer model ***. It failed to keep set temperature after a little under 2 years. Called the company and they would be happy to set up a repair but it would be at our expense as the warranty is only for 1 year. Beware you are looking at an unreliable and expensive product.
Appliance was out of warranty but *** stepped up and really went out of her way to help us! We got a very satisfying resolution even though the appliance was a few months out of warranty. She's the best!
I had a beverage cooler purchased in 2021 in which the compressor died, *** was very responsive to my issue and arranged to have a replacement unit shipped in a very timely manner. Ulyssa at Summit Appliances provided excellent customer service.

I have had contact with Summit Appliances on three (3) separate occasions. They answer their telephone and I found no wait times or return calls. I have called Summit Appliance due to needing help with my refrigerator that stopped cooling. I cannot tell how much help they were! I spoke with Amy and Wanda in the parts department, who went over and beyond to help me with the parts needed. I also spoke with the sales department to get information on ordering a new refrigerator and found the same courteous, helpful attitude. I have owned Summit refrigerators in the past and I am very happy with my purchases. I would highly recommend this company and products to anyone. A company should be judged on how they handle problems. When they arise and I find Summit to stand behind there product. I was so happy to find them to be hassle free and now days that is hard to come by. I give this company 5 Stars. I believe you will not be disappointed in Summit Appliances. Great Job!

I needed help with a replacement handle on a Summit unit and Ulyssa in customer service was so great to work with! First, she shipped out replacement screws but those ended up being the wrong size. She then arranged to have a new door shipped out under warranty so that the client could get a new handle altogether! All handled within a timely manner. Thanks, ***!

I purchased a SCR beverage cooler recently, only to discover the thermostat was on the bottom of the unit, not the top. It could get wet from the rain, as it's in my newsstand, near the sidewalk. A technician came by and applied tape around it. Additionally, the customer service was very helpful with a problem I had with the mechanism to lock the unit. Thanks to the team at Summit for their excellence in follow-through. Thank you.

Dedicated service is what every company needs! My refrigerator stopped working on 02/01/2022. I called the protection plan provider as I had an extended warranty. On 02/09/2022, a service team was sent to fix it. They concluded it couldn't be fixed and needed replacement. The warranty provider initially refused replacement or buyout. After 24 days of persistent calls, I contacted Summit. The representative took charge, liaising with the warranty provider and the service team, obtaining a report confirming the refrigerator was beyond repair. Eventually, the warranty provider agreed to a refund, all thanks to the persistent efforts of the Summit representative.

I purchased a Summit beverage refrigerator in January. After a year of use the compressor and drier stopped cooling my refrigerator. Summit was determined to be responsible for repairing/replacing this unit. A new refrigerator will be sent to my home as a solution.I worked with one of your employees, ***, to get this resolved. Our Summit refrigerator had not been working for weeks. The electronic temperature reading was off. We contacted a local appliance repair service but the service quote was too high. We decided to call Summit support to see if they had any solutions and we were connected to *** who assessed the problem quickly and let us know what part we needed. *** assured us that we would be able to replace the part ourselves and that he would help us when the time came. We placed an order with Summit for the $35 part and received it within a couple of days. When we called *** back for help with it he went in action and lead us step by step through the process and even did a video call when we had trouble with figuring it out. We was dedicated to resolving our problem and inspired us to keep at it until we completed the repair. We are so grateful that *** went the extra mile and provided us exceptional support which resulted in a working refrigerator and thanks to him we saved us a ton of money in service repairs.

My Summit icemaker stopped making ice after about two years of service. A service tech said my compressor and drain pump were both bad. It's July and it's hot and I was more than a little upset that this is when it decided to stop working. So, I started the process of connecting with Summit to see what could be done to remedy the situation. To my surprise, I received instructions from Summit support within hours of making the initial request. I collected the needed information and shared that in an email this morning (I put the originals in the mail for *** delivery). ***, who has guided me through this process, just informed me that a person from shipping would be contacting me to schedule the delivery of a replacement in the next week to *** the past where companies looked for ways to avoid responsibility. It is so refreshing to work with a company, and a professional like ***, that understands the value of customer service. I will definitely use more Summit solutions in the future.

They do everything possible not to honor their warranty. They are not honest. I bought Summit wine cooler *** and one side of the cooler quit working within the first 1 1/2 weeks. They sent someone out and fixed it. Then the lights quit working. They sent someone out. This went on and on. Finally, it quit working all together. They sent someone out twice and both times their own repair man said it could not be fixed. Summit wanted to send him out again for the 3rd time! This was all within the one year warranty. This is where the problem began. Every time I'd call, I would get a different story on why they couldn't either replace the unit or refund my money. This went on for three months. They made me send in all kinds of information, and when I'd do this, they would always need something else. For three months this went on. I could not trust what they were telling me. For three months! I finally got it resolved by contacting my credit card company and the dealer that I bought it from. I am 67 yrs old and this was the worst company that I have every dealt with. I never write reviews but I felt that I needed to warn others on this one.

We bought an outdoor commercial kegerator for our new outdoor kitchen, and it has not been able to cool under 45 degrees (our cheap $400 indoor cools to 30 degrees but our $1600 commercial fridge has not been able to chill) We have called summit, they reply that it's within the acceptable temperature range (apparently they dont like COLD beer)...It's been 1 year that we have been shuffled back and forth from Summit to the actual Seller: *** Connection. Now that its been a year, the seller says it is Summit's warranty that kicks in, even though this has been going on since day 1. Both of these companies rely on the shuffling blame back and forth with neither doing anything. We asked *** Connection to replace unit since day 1. They sent out a repairman once that fixed a thermostat and tubing, and absolutely agreed that it should be cooler. *** Connection asked that we get a certified review by a Specialist to say it was not cooling properly. We called several people/plumbers/repairman, but they have no idea what the company wants from them, and they want $200 to come out and give us a written opinion, which they were unwilling to pay for. DO NOT BUY A KEGERATOR FROM EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES!

We purchased a refrigerator from Summit in 5 and received it mid 6. It was a tall rhin model that we were happy would fit into a small area in our kitchen. It's an attractive unit. But it turned out to have serious issues with temperature control. Once we started to monitor with a thermometer they ranged from -20 in the freezer to about 60 in the fridge. The day before Thanksgiving the refrigerator portion died. The repair people could not fix the issue for nearly a 3 month period. When Summit wanted to replace parts that had already been replaced I finally had enough and called Summit myself to complain. That is when I found *** C!. *** is the perfect customer service rep. *** listens to the customer thoroughly, she asks pertinent questions. *** verifies with her supervisor when needed. *** C is professional and thorough. Due to the major issues with the refrigerator it turned out that Summit replaced it with a new one. So far the new refrigerator is working well. Well *** helped me through the paperwork. *** helped me by contacting the trucking company for another issue. *** truly made me feel like she and Summit were there for me. I am grateful that she was the representative I made contact with.

I had a problem with a Summit under counter refrigerator which is still under warranty. The issue was first reported on 11/29. The response from Summit was that a repair service would be contacted and I should hear from them in a couple days. Nothing happened and I have made subsequent calls to Summit every 5 to 10 working days trying to get the refrigerator repaired. Each time promises were made that they would check with a service provider and I would be contacted. I was also informed that I would receive calls back from Summit but nothing ever happened.This FIVE STAR RATING is for customer service representative ***.Finally, on my second call on 02/08/2022 I reached ***. She was able to contact a service provider and she provided me their name. She stated that the provider would contact me on 02/10/2022 to come and evaluate the problem. The provider actually call me on 02/08/2022 and came on 02/09/2022. The provider stated that they knew what the problem was and would be contacting Summit for replacement parts and then schedule a repair date.*** dedication to her work and for her swift actions to contact the service provider was a refreshing experience based on what I have had so far with Summit. In addition to speaking to me on the phone, she also followed up with an email on all the actions she had taken and requested a callback from me. I returned her call on 02/09/2022 informing her of what the service provider told me. She stated that she will be monitoring my case moving forward and that she will be looking for the provider's notes to prepare for parts delivery.I can't say enough about *** customer service and I appreciate her time and attention to my issue. I look forward to actually getting my refrigerator fixed soon!

My apartment's property manager replaced my old appliance with a Summit PRO201SS gas stove.
The property manager of my apartment replaced my old appliance with a Summit PRO201SS gas stove, after the technician couldn't fix the erratic oven temperature. I've been frustrated with the broiler. This 'upgrade' has a broiler compartment with a door that hits the floor when opened. Using it, I must pull a hot shelf from under the broiler. The shelf drops, and my food slides to the floor. I wasn't offered a choice for replacement, and there are no refunds. The Summit technician, after struggling with the broiler grate, said he'd request a credit for a better stove. However, Summit later claimed the stove worked within 'normal parameters', despite the grate tilting and causing hazards. I was misled and left with this dangerous stove. Buying this stove comes with risks, and you might never use the broiler compartment safely.

The compressor on my 10 month old beverage refrigerator went out. I contacted Summit and was fortunate to have customer service rep *** answer my call and become my point person to interface with. Within 14 days from my first call with her, I was notified that a replacement fridge was ready to be delivered to my home! A lot transpired during that time and she kept me informed the entire time. Truly remarkable customer service!
came by to fix an issue that I was having with my freezer on 9/22/2022. Based off of this experience, I would 100% recommend Summit Appliance's services. *** went above and beyond to make sure that the issue was addressed. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable about what was needed. I really appreciated his effort to resolve my freezer's issue.
