On the 15th October 2024, we were due to fly from Bristol to Antalya on flight XQ584, we were due to depart Bristol at 10;20 but did not depart until 11:20
it was noted by a lot of passengers that a female was being sick in the waiting area before departure, and also that she was drinking vodka from a bottle, the staff also noticed this but did not say anything. We boarded and took off 1 1/2 hours into the flight the captain asked if there was a Dr on board. He then informed us that we would landing in Frankfurt so medical advise could be sought. On landing medical staff came aboard but with no medical equipment, the medic sat with the women for about 40 mins asking questions and entering information on to her tablet, she was then removed from the flight and then the captain said we had to leave the plane as he had run out of flight time.
We bused to the terminal and left, no one to meet or advise us on the situation.
After 4 hours at passport control we were advised by the staff to got through passport and go to departure and Sun Express desk. on arrival at the desk we asked a member of Sun Express if she could help us and we were informed it had nothing to do with her, then we asked if she could find someone to help again she said no. about an hour later a female advised us to take a copy of code that advised us that we were to be put up in a hotel for the night and to be back at 0300 the next morning for our flight at 0600. We arrived back at 0300 to be informed our flight is delayed by an hour. eventually we boarded and arrived in Antalya. Once there we meet up with TUI staff who did not anything about our flight. To this end our Holiday was ruined for the 27 hours it took to fly to Antalya. To say we are not happy is and understatement.
Desired outcome: a refund
