They answered all my questions from the first phone call to the final inststall. Evaluations done with no detail missed. They offer top of the line panels and backup battery. Very helpful with financing options. The electricians were some of the best in the city. Install went smooth and the finished product looks great. Think my neighbors are envious. Had a glitch with APS getting their approvals done but that was more the covid problem with the city. Would recommend Sunup as their products are the best from my research as compared to others.

Beginning of our experience was great, *** wrote the contract up in November, panels up by January. Since then, a complete nightmare. Just can't seem to dig a trench and drop some conduit, going on week 5. Now we're told fencing needs to be moved. All of this while I have a pool contractor, a fence contractor and a landscaper on hold because of it. PM complains that this is a money pit to Sunup, well, it's a complete freakin mess to us. Also my 11 year old bulldog fell into the open trench and couldn't get out while I was at work. If I didn't have a job that canceled that day, he would have surely died in the 90 degree weather.

Ive worked for SunUp America for a little over three months now. I have prior experience in the solar industry, however in the time Ive spent here, I have gained an incredible amount of knowledge and responsibility with this company, and have grown more than I thought I could in such a short amount of time. Theres a wonderful team environment here as we work together to help customers go from paper to power. Coming to work is rewarding and fun, and Im glad to have a family here at SunUp!

Alessandro *** was so professional and friendly - we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with him. He was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was never pushy. The installers seemed efficient and cleaned up well. The only hold up was between SunUp and the folks that had to come out to do the inspection but that just caused a small delay and the SupUp folks handled everything. We have had our solar system working since about May and have had only credits on our electric *** since then. It is great to see that the electricity we are producing more than covers our usage. We are very happy with our decision and with SunUp and Alessandro(Alex).

Scammers, they call and call until you answer, you tell them NO and they call from another number until you listen to some woman go on and on and on...cant get a word in to tell them I am not interested, leave me alone!
Sun up America installed my solar, I worked with *** and he was great, and made the process run smoothly.
I went solar late last year and I am very pleased with the work Sun Up America did. I also purchased a new air conditioner and I love this thing! I can't believe how quiet it is. Overall, I had a pleasant experience from start to finish. My APS bills look great and I am very pleased.
Absolute worst customer service I've ever encountered
Absolute worst customer service I've ever encountered. Not only did I receive a call telling me the parts I needed had been ordered when in fact they had not. When the part was ordered it took 2 weeks to get to Sun-up (they had the tracking information) and in all that time instead of scheduling it to be installed immediately I'm required to wait another 5 days before they can get around to it. The solar system that I bought in June and Sun-up installed has either not worked correctly or been down completely. In the mean time I'm racking up a *** with APS and paying for a solar system that as of October 7th still does not work. I would stay away from this company as much as possible.

Great experience. *** was our contact. He was very personable and informative. Every one we came in contact with was very nice and made the process painless. Very efficient.
Had a great experience with this company from start to finish especially with my team led by the project manager and the lead technician. They were always available when I had questions or wanted to follow up. They gave me time tables to expect and also helped me install a new AC component I was needing.
From start to finish, SunUp America is an excellent company to do business with. My husband and I were very impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism. A special thank you to Alessandro *** who patiently provided an indepth overview of the advantages of solar power and answered all of our novice questions. Stephanie, the General Manager, was terrific with explaining the products and value of your investment. Alex was wonderful with ensuring you had your appointments scheduled and paperwork submitted. Together they made the entire process EASY. I signed maybe 3 documents the entire time. Fred came out and turned the system on and showed me how easy the monitoring app was to use. We are extremely happy we chose this company. There was no pushy sales plot and we were kept up to speed on everything from start to finish. The equipment was installed well and the warranties really made the decision a no-brainer. It all took less than 3 months! Oh! And the Nest and A/C maintenance is a terrific bonus. The technician that installed the soft starts noticed we needed a new part and installed one on each unit while he was there!

After reading the reviews, I am wandering if we are talking about the same company
After reading the reviews, I am wandering if we are talking about the same company. From the beginning, we were sold a bill of goods that did not transpire during the three month process. Sun up tried to substitute a 4 ton Bosch Seer unit instead of the 5 ton unit written on proposal. Solar panels delivered were not what was stated in the proposal or contract. We happen to check the panels when they arrived. Drain roof was damaged during the process of Bosch unit installation. Had to replace this roof area. TV attenna was damaged during the install of the Bosch unit. The list Glad we have the solar system and new mechanical unit. Not happy that we are tied to Sun Up America for the remainder of the time that we live in this house. Can not state enough that what we were sold, by the 18 people we were introduced were quite lacking in customer service and providing the goods sold by the salesperson.

(VP of Sales) contacted me after being referred. There was NO PUSHY sales, not hundreds of calls - pretty impressed I was given the time I needed to be ready for the appointment. The presentation I saw for the solar, the description and the knowledge I gained is top notch. I am comfortable with my decision and not a bit of me feels like I made a poor decision. ALL of my questions were answered - Who/What/When/Where/Why *** was on point - always a joy to talk to and always had me laughing and smiling. Never kept me wondering and again never made a promise she did not keep. Did not feel like I was buying something rather building a relationship.The technician that came out for the install together with the initial rep, they were polite, informative and made sure if I had any questions they were answered. The job area was left clean with no mess.My whole process start to end was completed in under 60 days and this team is amazing!

In 2020, we were considering installing a solar system not just for the sake of saving money, but to also contribute to the economy recovery due to impacts of COVID-19 and help do our part for the environment. A good friend and neighbor, who recently installed a solar system from SunUP America, referred us to the company. We contacted SunUP America and discussed our needs and goals. They presented us with a step-by-step plan on how the process will work from preliminary discussions, permitting with Trico Electric Co-Op, coordination with our HOA, installation timeline, approvals, startup and commissioning, and monitoring and management of the system itself My dealings were excellent, staff was polite, work crews kept home site clean, project manager was responsive and have addressed all of my questions. The startup and commissioning gentleman I am dealing with is very knowledgeable. My wife and I are planning on building a home next year and considering the installation of a new solar system from SunUP. We have zero complaints, certainly highly recommend them, and yes we're already saving $. Thank you!

I could write a book about how great this company is, and everything they did for us! How they totally beat EVERY quote ( there were 5) How many upgrades they gave us, so as to help save US money. (soo many) How easy they made the whole experience. (incredibly) How they explained everything until I got it, (not gonna admit that number) How Steve, Darren, John, and Alex improved our lives. (incredibly) But here's the gist: We wanted solar and to replace our a.c. unit, but an a.c.quote from another company made us think that a new unit wasn't happening anytime soon. Then we met with Darren and Steve, and realized we COULD have both! Darren set it all up and always kept us up to date with what was happening and when. Steve and John installed our new a.c. unit, ductwork, and thermostat in no time, making sure everything was working properly, and that I didn't have any questions before they left. They were fast, professional, and friendly. They even cleaned up after themselves! BONUS! Now I'm not a crier, but when I felt how cold and hard my ac was blowing, I was brought to tears! I have been needlessly suffering for so long, and now that's OVER! And lastly, my projected electric bill from SRP has dropped $5 every 2 days since they put the unit on, and honestly, I've REALLY been enjoying the temperature in my house, aka running the crap out of it, so it probably could have gone down even more! I will update after we get the solar installed on Tuesday!

I had a meeting with *** of SunUp America. He was very polite and explained everything very clearly and made sure I understood. I was very impressed with SunUp America and their system so I became a customer. From the time the contract was signed until the system was up and running was only a couple of months. Everyone that I have had contact with wonderful. They explained everything they were doing, what would happen next, and answered all my questions.I am so very pleased with SunUp America and their employees. I highly recommend them if you are considering solar energy.
Horrible customer service. It was great when the previous technician was there. I got solar panels up and they were offering a new AC and furnace in the package which I needed. They installed everything and it was fine until the AC started doing double starts. The technician came out and found the problem, fixed it. Or so we thought. A week later it started doing it again. Called and talked to the project manager and haven't heard anything since. That has been a few months ago. I have called twice this week and have received no return calls. This has been going on for several months now. Major communication issues. Oh, and they had me sign a paper stating that I wouldn't say bad things about them.
SunUp installed solar panels on my roof in November. That was the last thing they did and the panels are useless because I have no battery or any of the electrical upgrades necessary to make the system work. I paid for almost the entire system in cash and now they delay and delay. It is now almost June--6.5 months after the panels were installed--and I am paying summer SRP bills just like I always have. I had great faith in this company but I am very, very disappointed.
They came out to my house and said they would hook me up with this great solar system that would help offset the cost of power from my house and I'd save money every month, and how their system was this amazing setup, and that I was getting this great deal, and could potentially sell some power back in the cooler months to make a little even. Turns out pretty much none of that is true.The breaker that connects the system to my house constantly trips so I am not able to harness any of the power that those panels are creating, along with that they under sold me on how big the system should be. And come to find out, they are one of the most expensive companies to get solar from, that and the panels and inverter they use, they are industry standard, so nothing special there either. I've contacted them several times about getting someone out to fix my constantly tripping breaker, and they say they will have someone contact me Tuesday, every time its Tuesday. And yet I never get a call, or text or voice mail from anyone. I tried to setup my portal to at least notify me when the system is having issues, and that doesn't seem to work either. But it does have the option to send them notifications when the system on my house is acting up. Honestly I am super unsatisfied with this whole experience. Its costing me money and I'm getting no benefit from this system, at this point I just want it removed from my house so I can forget that I even wanted solar in the first place.
