Surfdome.com Review: Shady Operations and Terrible Customer Service
I gotta say, Surfdome.com is a bit of a mixed bag. I mean, they seem to be doing their own thing, you know? I ordered four pairs of sandals from them, spent almost $300, and wouldn't you know it, I only got three pairs. I was pretty ticked off, so I reached out to their customer service team. It took them four whole days to get back to me, and when they did, all they said was that the package was damaged. But get this, the package wasn't damaged at all! I even sent them pictures of the box to prove it. That was over a week ago, and I still haven't heard back from them.
Let me tell you, their customer service is just plain awful. I'm so hesitant to even try to return the sandals I did get because I don't trust them at all. It's like they're running some kind of shady operation over there. You might get your stuff, or you might not. Who knows? They just do whatever they want and don't care about their customers at all.
Honestly, I regret ever ordering from them. I wish I had stuck with a company I could trust. And don't let their lower prices fool you, either. It's not worth it if you're going to end up losing money and wasting your time. I'm only out $30 for the sandals I never received, but now I'm stuck with the $86 ones I wanted to return. It's a real shame.
So yeah, I don't think I'll be ordering from Surfdome.com again. It's just not worth the hassle. Stick with a company that actually cares about their customers and won't leave you high and dry.
Terrible Customer Service and Missing Item: My Disappointing Experience with Surfdome
I gotta say, Surfdome is not the best company out there. I ordered two items for my daughter, but one of them came without the wetsuit that I paid a pretty penny for. When I contacted customer support, they straight up called me a liar and said that the wetsuit was packaged and sent. I mean, come on, I'm not making this up! I've spent hours going back and forth with them, but I still haven't gotten any support or my missing item. And to top it off, the online advisor was using all caps in their responses, like they were yelling at me or something.
When I asked for the complaints process, they just gave me the same "contact us" link that I had already used. It's like they don't even care about their customers. This is the first time I've had an online order go wrong, and it's been a nightmare dealing with Surfdome. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I'm so frustrated and angry right now. They're basically calling me a liar and a thief, which is ridiculous. I'm thinking about just disputing the charge with my credit card company and forgetting about Surfdome altogether. I don't have the energy to deal with this anymore. If they ever fix this issue, I might consider editing this review, but for now, I'm giving them a big fat zero stars.
Terrible Experience with Surfdome - Would Not Recommend!
I had a really bad experience with Surfdome - I wouldn't recommend using them! I've been a customer for a few years now and have always had a good experience, but this time was different. I ordered over ?430 worth of clothing on 22nd April and received a package very quickly. However, when I opened it, I found that all of the items were wrong. I received horse riding equipment that Surfdome doesn't even sell! Apparently, the warehouse is shared with a number of other shops and this is a recurrent issue. I was asked to return all of the equipment, but there was no option for 'wrong items received' on the online form, so I had to register one of my items as a returned item. This caused complications on future calls to the company.
I sent back the wrong items on 28th April and waited until 3rd May for confirmation that they would send me the correct order. However, it's now 9th May and I still haven't received anything. I haven't heard anything from Surfdome or from a delivery company. I called today and was on hold for half an hour before being told that only the previous customer services contact I spoke to can help. They all work remotely and there are no details regarding my particular case on their system. This is really frustrating, especially since I've received good service from this company before. I'm not sure if the changes relate to restructuring or reorganisation due to Covid, but the service I've received is completely unacceptable.
I did receive a 15% refund after I made a complaint the first time, but they still have over ?350 of my money and I still haven't received anything. I'm currently waiting for a call back today. The whole thing has been thoroughly frustrating. I don't usually write bad reviews, but I felt I had to warn other customers about them!
Misleading Website and Lacking Customer Service: My Disappointing Experience with Surfdome
I have to say, I recently had an experience with Surfdome that left a lot to be desired. I ordered a carry on suitcase from them, thinking that they were based in Australia as the website had a ".com.au" domain and checkout was in AUD. I received an email saying that my order would be delivered by Friday, along with a tracking link that unfortunately did not work.
When Friday came around and my suitcase had not been delivered, I decided to give them a call and that's when I found out that they were actually based in the UK. I was pretty frustrated with this as I had assumed that they were based in Australia, and the lady on the phone didn't seem very apologetic about it either. To make matters worse, she couldn't give me a reason as to why my package had not been delivered.
By the time the suitcase was eventually delivered, I had already left the country by almost a week. The lady on the phone told me that I was supposed to organise for someone in Australia to send it back - which was a total hassle and not something that I wanted to deal with.
Overall, I would definitely think twice about ordering from Surfdome again. The misleading website and lack of customer service just weren't worth the hassle for me, especially when there are plenty of other online retailers out there that are more reliable.
Review: Surfdome's Shipping and Customer Service Experience for Osprey Backpack
I recently had an experience ordering from Surfdome and wanted to share my thoughts. I purchased the Osprey Aura AG 65 backpack and although it did eventually arrive, it took much longer than anticipated. In fact, it took twice as long as Surfdome's promised shipping time, which left me feeling a bit frustrated. Additionally, the tracking information provided was confusing and difficult to interpret. At one point, the package was supposedly in my hometown, but didn't actually arrive for more than a week. Then, it was shipped all the way across the country and sat there for over a week before finally being delivered. When it did arrive, the box was quite damaged due to moisture, but thankfully the backpack inside was unharmed.
Throughout this experience, I attempted to contact Surfdome's customer service via the phone numbers listed on their website, but unfortunately, I was unable to get through. I tried several times but had no success. The only communication I received was via email, where the customer service representatives were responsive and helpful. However, they didn't offer any new information or solutions beyond what I already knew from the tracking information.
Despite these challenges, I am happy with the backpack itself and the price I paid for it. It seems to be high quality and in good condition. That being said, I do think there is room for improvement in both Surfdome's customer service and their choice of shipping company. A smoother and more transparent process would greatly enhance the overall experience of ordering from Surfdome.
Beware: My Disappointing Experience with Surfdome's Customer Service
Yo, listen up, folks! So, I just gotta tell ya about my experience with Surfdome, it's been a bit of a wild ride, let me tell ya. So, I was all geared up to get some sweet Christmas prezzies for my fam and friends, and I ordered from Surfdome on November 28th, thinking I gave myself plenty of time for the goods to arrive. Well, two weeks went by and I got two of the prezzies, but the one that was the most important, the one I was really counting on, was MIA.
I gotta say, I was pretty ticked off, so I dialed up Surfdome's customer care line, and to my surprise, there was no answer. I tried and tried, leaving messages, but still nada. And when I fired off some emails to them, well, none of them got answered either. I'm starting to think that the customer care team is just a figment of my imagination at this point.
Anyway, here we are, Christmas Eve is staring me in the face, and still no sign of that prezzie. And, on top of all that, my money hasn't even been refunded yet either. To say I'm a disgruntled customer is an understatement.
So, yeah, I'm sure you can understand why I won't be buying from Surfdome again. And hey, if you're thinking about ordering from them, I'd say proceed with caution. This whole experience has left me feeling pretty let down, man.
Terrible Customer Service: Surfdome Refused to Honor Northface Warranty
I recently had a pretty bad experience with Surfdome, let me tell you. I bought a Northface hoodie from them and the pocket ripped the material apart. I talked to another dealer nearby and they agreed that it needed to be sent back to Northface. So, I reached out to Surfdome and they asked for pictures of the damage. But when I sent them the pictures, they blamed me and said that it wasn't covered under warranty. Can you believe that? They refused to help me in any way or even talk to Northface for me.
Luckily, I didn't just give up. I went to my local Northface franchise shop and they agreed that there was an issue with the build. They quickly sent it off for me and Northface sorted it out swiftly with no issue. I have to say, their 2-year warranty is fantastic.
I don't recommend buying from Surfdome. Their customer service skills are seriously lacking. I dealt with a guy named Guillaume who was rude and completely useless. He didn't seem to want to do anything to help me at all. If you're thinking of buying from them to save a few pounds, think again. It ended up costing me more time and money than I saved. I'm beyond angry about it.
I'd rate them 0 stars, if I could. I've reported them to Northface and so far, they're just as shocked as I am that Surfdome made such a lazy and incorrect decision on their behalf. Save yourself the trouble and buy from somewhere more reputable.
My Experience with Surfdome: A First-Time Customer's Review
So, I gotta tell you guys about my experience with Surfdome. I wasn't sure what to expect because I had never ordered from them before, but I needed a new backpack and they had a sweet Osprey one that caught my eye. I paid with Paypal and got a confirmation email saying that I would be notified when they shipped my product, since I live in Germany.
Well, the estimated delivery day came and went and I hadn't heard anything from them. I started getting worried and decided to do some research on reviews. Let me tell you, I found some pretty alarming stuff that started to freak me out a bit. So that evening I decided to write to their customer support to ask about tracking and shipping status.
In a later email, I decided to cancel my order altogether. The next morning, I received two answers in response to my emails. They told me that they had already shipped my order and provided me with a tracking number. They also told me that I couldn't cancel my order at that point. I was a little worried, but then I got a notification that the package was on its way and it arrived that same day!
I was super relieved that my package arrived just as I ordered it, especially after reading all those alarming reviews. As a first-time customer, I really didn't know what to expect from them, but I was happy with the customer service and the fact that I received my order just one day late. The one thing that didn't work for me was that I never received a shipping email from them.
All in all, I think that if you order from Surfdome and read all these crazy reviews, it's still possible that everything will go well. So don't worry too much, just give them a chance and good luck!
Unacceptable Customer Service from Surfdome - My Order was Cancelled and I Lost Work
I'm seriously disappointed with surfdome.com. I recently bought a snowboard using my credit card and faced a bunch of security checks before I could complete the transaction. Although I met all the requirements, they still asked me to provide an authorization code within 72 hours of placing the order. I contacted my bank to find out what the code was, but they said they didn't know anything about it.
I contacted surfdome six times, but I never received a response from them. They asked me to provide the code within 72 hours, but then they ignored my emails completely. I cannot believe they did this to me. I work in the snow industry and needed the snowboard to work on Tuesday. However, because of surfdome's poor service, my order has been canceled, leaving me without the gear I need to do my job.
This will cause me to lose money, work, and potentially my job. It's not acceptable for such a reputable company to treat its customers this way. I often recommend surfdome to my clients, but I can no longer do so. I will be recommending other companies to my clients from now on. The customer service I received from surfdome for an item that costs me almost ?500 is simply unacceptable.
They guaranteed me a delivery date, only to cancel my order while totally ignoring my emails. I responded to the email they sent me, but they chose to ignore me. I would never have expected such low-quality customer service from a company like surfdome. I'm extremely unhappy with how I've been treated and how it has affected my ability to work.
Beware of Surfdome: Unprofessional Customer Service and Customs Issues
On the eleventh of May in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty, I placed an order on Surfdome's website for a pair of Oakley Flight Jackets. I was positively thrilled to find that they were priced lower than anywhere else. I thought to myself, "Wow, what a steal!" I quickly paid using my credit card and received a follow-up email with the FedEx tracking number. I was impressed by how fast the package had been sent over from across the pond. I was eagerly expecting to receive the package on the thirteenth of May, as FedEx is known to be pretty punctual in their delivery dates.
I monitored the tracking information and saw that the package had arrived at the FedEx main hub in Tennessee where all parcels are sorted before being forwarded to their final recipients. Alas, my excitement dissipated soon after when I received an email from FedEx that my item needed a drop ball testing certificate before it could be released from customs. How peculiar, I thought to myself. I had never received any notification like this before when buying products or glasses from overseas.
I contacted customer service and spoke with a friendly woman who initially seemed to be eager to assist me. To my relief, she found the email that FedEx had sent them about the drop ball lenses testing. However, as soon as I asked her to send a follow-up email to me when they responded to FedEx with the needed information, her pleasant demeanor changed completely. She muttered something about it being the warehouse's job to send out that information and that I should just keep checking my FedEx status. I kindly requested that she send a follow-up email, but she brushed me off and repeated the same answer. If she's sitting in front of a computer all day, how hard is it to send a quick email to a customer? I thought to myself.
Outraged, I immediately called my credit card company and got the charges reversed. I will never buy anything from Surfdome again. They are a bunch of scammers, and even their phone lines don't seem to work anymore. I tried calling them three times and even sent an email, but no response. In the end, I spent a little extra and ordered the same pair of glasses from a local supplier. They arrived promptly the next day, and I am happy with my purchase.
In conclusion, if you're thinking of buying anything from Surfdome, be careful. While some people have had good experiences, others have encountered problems like mine. My advice is to stay away from this online store unless you want to risk being ripped off.
Horrible Experience with Surfdome - No Customer Support and Bad Returns Procedures
I placed my order for two surf bags on the 17th of January and found that the payment and delivery procedures were perfectly executed. However, I had to create a return request for one of the bags, as it didn't fit me. That's when my troubles began.
On the 23rd of January, I tried to create a returning label on their website but it didn't work and the page had some glitches. I was looking for their promoted live chat which unfortunately didn't exist. When I tried to make a call on their purported support number, ***042, it didn't exist either.
As I didn't want to waste any more time, I wrote an e-mail addressing my issue. But, to my surprise, there was no response. So, I decided to write another mail on 29th January. However, still no response. Finally, on 7th February I wrote a third mail with an explicit request for the label and not again some link.
On 9th February, customer service (Miguel) responded telling me that the issue had been fixed and that I could now generate a returns label using their Rebound system. However, it was not fixed, and I had to reply back to Miguel the same day. On the 11th of February, customer service (Ryan) responded to my initial mail but only with a link to the failing system, trying to resolve the issue.
When I didn't receive any help, I reached out to customer service (Ahmed) on 14th February. Again, he only gave me the link to the failing system and showed no interest in resolving the issue.
Customer service (Miguel) finally got back to me on 16th February, stating that there was no order because they had been using the wrong mail address. I replied with the correct order number, but he suggested that I send the package back on my own expense. I was aghast!
Not wanting to waste any more time, I eventually reached out to PayPal for professional help. I decided to ship both bags back to Surfdome on 22nd February, paying 35? and PayPal gave me 25? back on 23rd February. I finally received my money back on 16th March, almost two months after I ordered the two simple bags for my surfboard.
To sum it up, none of their promises were fulfilled. There was no live chat, no phone support, bad customer service, no free return shipping, and I ended up paying 10? for nothing. The experience was horrifying and exhausting. I will never order from Surfdome again. It was disappointing that they didn't even try to solve my issue or apologize to keep me as a customer.

Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Surfdome: Would Not Recommend
So, I was looking for a product that would fit my backpack from the same brand. I found it on Surfdome and ordered it right away. The delivery was fast, but when I opened the package, I realized that they sent me a different model that was larger and not compatible with my backpack. I was disappointed and frustrated, so I decided to contact their customer service.
I sent over 10 emails and help requests, but I didn't receive a single response. I even tried calling them, but I had to pay close to $200 in international service call charges, and still, no one answered. I felt like I was talking to a brick wall. It was like they didn't care about their customers at all.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of response and support from Surfdome was unacceptable. I was left with a product that I couldn't use, and I had no idea what to do next. I felt like I wasted my money and time on something that was supposed to be simple and straightforward.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Surfdome to anyone. Their customer service is virtually nonexistent, and they don't seem to care about their customers' satisfaction. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy online store, look elsewhere.
Terrible Customer Service: My Frustrating Experience with Surfdome's Warranty Team
I had a really bad experience with Surfdome. I bought a product from them four months ago, but it turned out to be faulty. I tried to get in touch with their warranty team to send it back, but it took me three whole months to get an approval from them. And even then, they kept sending me links to print the label that didn't work.
I've been going back and forth with them for four months now, and I still haven't been able to send the product back. They don't even answer my emails anymore, even though they already agreed to give me my money back once I send them the product. It's really frustrating and unfair that I've had to deal with this for so long.
Their customer service is really bad. They're really inefficient and nothing seems to get done. All I've had is useless correspondence with them. It's really exhausting and infuriating to deal with this kind of service. I don't think it's legal for them to treat their customers like this.

Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Surfdome: A Review
I've been shopping at Surfdome for quite some time now, but I have to say that my recent experience with their customer service has left me feeling quite disappointed. I ordered a pair of trainers from their website, but unfortunately, they sent me the wrong size. I understand that mistakes can happen, so I wasn't too upset about it. However, what followed was a frustrating and time-consuming process that left me feeling quite frustrated.
I had to send dozens of emails to get an update on my return, and every time I was answered by a different customer service representative. This made it difficult to keep track of what was going on, and I felt like I was constantly starting from scratch. Eventually, I did receive a refund for the trainers, but I was disappointed to find out that Surfdome would not be refunding the postage that I had to pay to return the item. This was particularly frustrating because one of the customer service agents had told me that they would be refunding the postage.
Overall, I have to say that I was quite disappointed with the level of customer service that I received from Surfdome. It felt unprofessional and disorganized, and I don't think that I would be shopping with them again in the future. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I think that it's important for companies to take responsibility for their errors and make things right for their customers. In this case, I felt like I was left to deal with the consequences of Surfdome's mistake, and that's not something that I'm willing to put up with.
Beware: My Disappointing Experience with Surfdome's Customer Service
Yo, listen up, folks! So, I just gotta tell ya about my experience with Surfdome, it's been a bit of a wild ride, let me tell ya. So, yeah, I'm sure you can understand why I won't be buying from Surfdome again. And hey, if you're thinking about ordering from them, I'd say proceed with caution. This whole experience has left me feeling pretty let down, man.
Poor Sizing and No Exchanges, Unhappy with Surfdome's Customer Service
So, I purchased a pair of Birkenstock's from Surfdome and I used the size chart to get the right size. But when the shoes arrived, it was a size too large for me. Like seriously? No biggie, but then I found out that returning them was not that cheap because it cost me $15 bucks to ship them, and when I found out they don't do exchanges, my heart sank. I had to return them just to order a new pair again. No way I was gonna pay another $15 bucks just because of a sizing issue, right? So, in frustration, I decided to check out another store that might have them. Luckily, I found Nordstrom and their customer service was superb. Talk about a relief. But what really upset me is that I am now out $36 bucks just for trying to get the right size for my shoes. I don't think I will ever buy from Surfdome again.
An Unreliable Experience: My Review of Shopping at Surfdome in Canada
Surfdome is a cool website for surfers and outdoor enthusiasts. I remember when I used to live in the UK, I loved shopping there. It was a great site with all sorts of gear and clothing for people who love to hit the waves or explore the great outdoors. So, when I found out that Surfdome also had a site in Canada, I was really excited.
I went ahead and placed an order right away, hoping to gear up for my next adventure. However, I was left disappointed when I didn't receive any updates on my order for over a week. I was getting restless, wondering where my package was. I didn't receive any shipping confirmation or tracking details, and I started to worry that my order had gotten lost in transit.
Eventually, I decided to contact Surfdome to ask about my order. But, when they responded to me, they gave me the wrong tracking number. This was really frustrating and I had to contact them again to get the right one. It seemed like Surfdome was not very well organized and had some issues with their customer service.
Overall, while I love what Surfdome sells, my experience shopping with them in Canada was disappointing. I'm not sure I would shop with them again in the future, as I need to be able to rely on the company to get my orders to me in a timely and organized fashion.
Disappointing Experience: Surfdome Fell Short on Product and Customer Service
I gotta say, Surfdome wasn't exactly what I expected when I ordered a surfboard from their website. I was pretty bummed out when the board arrived, because it was two inches shorter than I was expecting. I tried to contact them to return it and get my money back, but they just stopped answering my emails! It's been a frustrating experience, to say the least.
I can't believe how unhelpful they've been throughout this whole process. It's seriously the worst experience I've ever had with a company. I wouldn't even give them one star if I could avoid it. The worst part is that I now have this useless surfboard that I can't even sell for a reasonable price. Ugh, it's just been a nightmare.
Overall, I would definitely caution anyone thinking about buying from Surfdome to think twice. They really don't seem to care about their customers or making things right when something goes wrong. It's a total shame, because I was really excited about that surfboard, but now it's just collecting dust in my garage. Don't waste your time or money here folks.
Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with Surfdome.com Shipping & Stock
So I ordered a product from Surfdome.com, thinkin' I'd get it quick with their two-day shippin' option. But then, nothing. Nobody got back to me about my shippin' request, and after four days, I was gettin' pretty worried. I decided to send 'em an email, hopin' they'd give me some info. Two whole days went by before they finally responded, only to tell me that the product I wanted was already sold out. Like, seriously? What kinda company doesn't keep their stock up to date? Worst customer service experience I've ever had, hands down. I ain't never shoppin' there again, and I certainly ain't gonna recommend it to anybody else.
Surfdome.com Review: Terrible Customer Service and Faulty Products
So, I thought I'd give surfdome.com a go and ordered a couple of pairs of kids shoes. Boardies for my little dude and cool sneakers for my (not so) little miss. But, blimey, when they arrived, both pairs were in the wrong sizes! I mean, come on! Fuming, I tried ringing them up loads of times but nothing - no one answered and when I left messages, no one called me back. Then, I thought, maybe I'll try emailing them, but it took absolute ages to get a response.
Finally, after I mentioned the ACCC (they're like the Oz Trading Standards), I got an email back, but all they could offer was to take the shoes back and refund me my cash. Which, well, okay, but seriously, why should I have to pay the postage when it was their fault in the first place? It all seems a bit dodgy to me, if I'm honest. Beware, guys.
Disappointing experience with Surfdome.com - cancelled order and no refund
So, I recently had an encounter with Surfdome(dot)com and let me tell you - it wasn't the most pleasant one. I had ordered one of their hats from their website, and the order confirmation stated that it would take about a month to arrive. Although it was a bit too long for me, I decided to go ahead with the purchase, because I really wanted the hat.
However, when the delivery date was only a day away, they simply cancelled my order without giving any explanation for it. I was extremely disappointed, as I was eagerly waiting for my new purchase to arrive. This disappointing experience was further aggravated by the fact that Surfdome(dot)com didn't refund me the shipping costs, despite cancelling my order without any apparent reason. I felt that they had cheated me and it was indeed a total scam.
Just to be sure, I wrote an email querying why my order was cancelled and why I wasn't entitled to a refund in shipping, and their response was totally unsatisfactory. They simply said that I wasn't entitled to a refund and that was it. I just could not believe that they could treat their customers with such carelessness, and it scared me to think about how they must be treating other customers as well.
To make matters worse, I noticed that the hat I tried to order on their website is still being advertised, which makes me wonder if it was just a ploy to grab my money and then pretend that they never took the order for the hat. All in all, my experience with Surfdome(dot)com has been an unpleasant one, and I can safely say that I won't be shopping with them again in the future.
Disappointing Customer Service from Surfdome: A Review
I gotta say, my experience with Surfdome wasn't the greatest. I had some major issues with their customer service. I mean, it took me forever to even get a hold of them. I tried calling them up but no one answered. And when I sent them an email, all I got back was some boring automated response.
Adding to that, I had ordered a pair of sick trainers for my bro's Christmas present. The order was placed on 3rd December and it's been crickets ever since. I mean, it's not like I'm asking for a personal letter, just a confirmation or shipping update would be great.
After waiting for so long, I finally decided to hit them up on Instagram to see what's up. And imagine my shock when they told me that the item is out of stock. Like, what a bummer!
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Surfdome to anyone. It's just not worth the hassle and disappointment. They really need to get their act together when it comes to customer service and fulfilment.
Surfdome Review: Terrible Experience - Still Waiting on Order Eight Months Later!
Honestly, I wish I could say that my experience with Surfdome was a good one, but unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. It's hard to believe that such a company can still exist and get away with their actions.
I placed an order for two shirts for Christmas, giving them four weeks in advance as a precaution. However, the package I received was far from what I had ordered. Instead, there were two cheap backpacks, which I had no need for. I contacted customer service to resolve the issue, hoping to get the correct items before Christmas.
However, that wasn't to be. It's been eight months now, and I'm yet to receive either the shirts I ordered or my money back. With each communication with customer service, I'm met with different people who seem to ask the same questions. Despite my numerous attempts, no one seems to be able to resolve the problem or offer a solution.
I've spent so much time trying to get my money back or the correct items that I ordered and paid for, but it's all been in vain. It's disheartening to know that companies like this can still operate and rip off customers like me.
Overall, my experience with Surfdome was terrible, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable online store. It's frustrating, disappointing, and a complete waste of time and money.
Surfdome Review: Poor Return Policy and Customer Service
I gotta be honest, my experience with Surfdome (surfdome.com) was not good. Their return policy is not what you want in this day and age, man. They act like they're all hip with the surfing culture but then they make you pay a whole 25% of the item price just to return something. What a rip-off, right? And when I asked them about it and explained that all I wanted to do was swap the size, they just kept quoting their terms and conditions like they're Apple or Google or something. Come on, guys.
I mean, are they living in a different world? Don't they know about all the other e-commerce brands out there like Zalando and Amazon? Those places would never try to pull a fast one on you like Surfdome does. I really think they're struggling and they might be gone soon if they keep this up.
Oh, and whatever you do, don't buy from them if you're not in the UK. It's just not worth it, trust me.
Disappointing Customer Service from Surfdome: A Cautionary Tale
I recently made an order for a pair of groovy Oakley sunglasses from Surfdome, an online retailer. The package I received was delivered through FedEx. However, I encountered some troubles with my order. Unfortunately, the delivery was held up, and I needed information from Surfdome to sort the issue. So, I contacted Surfdome a few times, through three e-mails and three phone calls.
But, I was quite disappointed as I did not get any response for my e-mails. Moreover, each time I called, I was on hold for at least 15-30 minutes. That's quite a long time, right?
Finally, when I spoke to one of the customer service representatives, they claimed that they would contact FedEx to try and resolve the issue. But, in my humble opinion, I don't think they took any concrete action with FedEx to rectify the problem.
As of now, I'm afraid that FedEx might return the package to the sender, and I may not even get my purchase price back from Surfdome. It's quite sad, indeed!
So, to sum it up, I would like to caution everyone to be careful when doing business with this company. It's a bummer, really!
