Swyfft Swyfft response!

Swyfft response! I called Sywfft Insurance on the day of water damage in my home and they responded within an hour. They sent someone to inspect the water damage that afternoon and the next day the drying process began. An adjuster came to the house after the drying and made an estimate of repairs. 60 days later, my claim was approved and we began the process of interviewing contractors for home repairs. The claims adjuster was readily available by phone and email for questions, concerns and explanation of the claims process, even after the claim approval. Thankfully, we had a good experience with Swyfft during a stressful event and I hope to be a long term Swyfft customer!

Took *** from me then cancelled my policy after 2 months with little notice, they should have been up front with me with policy stipulation on age of my water heater and they didnt want any tree overhang above roof.. the tree is huge btw and I will have to practically cut half of it off to not have any overhang. They wanted me to replace water heater and cut tree and fix small hole in my ceiling from a water leak over a decade ago from previous owner rigged tubing for ice maker from sink in attic to the fridge.. I havent had any extra funds to have a contractor come out for a golf ball sized hole.. not a priority in this economic state. I wish my experience was that of these posts claiming excellent. Now I am in a crunch to get a new company come up with another down payment and they stopped answering my emails regarding refund amount.

We switched over to swyfft for homeowners insurance. Because we got a better rate! Just 3 weeks later we had a fire (started by a neighbour). Was a very trying time for us. But dealing with *** and the great swyfft team just made things easier. They are not only very fair. And generous. But also very caring. I was very impressed!Thank you so much! *** and the great team at Swyfft!

Swyfft This company is absolutely terrible!

This company is absolutely terrible! I reported a claim on 02/17 for burst pipes and my experience with this company has been horrendous. Since my claim my adjuster has switched 3-4 times with little to no communication with myself. My current adjuster will not pick up the phone or at all ive call her 10 times and NO RETURN PHONE CALL HAS BEEN MADE. When I do call it goes straight to voicemail. When I call the companies customer service they dont help at all, they just say 'all they can do is send our adjuster a email and thats it" so basically they are USELESS and serve no purpose, It is impossible for me to get updates on my claim and there is no one to help!. If anyone is reading this please DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE! They do not know what customer service means.

Swyfft did a great job with our claim after wind damage to our roof! We are so impressed and thankful for their professionalism and how easy they have been to work with on this issue. *** was our adjustor and she was fantastic! Fast, professional, friendly and clearly knows what's she's doing, working with *** changed my attitude about dealing with an insurance claim. Swyfft was our families home insurance , when on vacation, we had a break in. It wqas a major loss and disaster !swyfft was there threw out the process. Very thourough on the lists of lost items. Damage to house was repaired and over estimate cost was covered threw a supplement. They were even able to correct a wrong item on the list of losses items. I strongly suggest 2 things. One litterally take pictures of everything you own . Even cloths. Like everything! This will be your proof in a theft of a fire! And second is swift! Good grassroots company

In the midst of a very stressful, unimaginable situation after the devastating freeze, I was given hope by Swyfft Insurance Company and Ms. Valerie W. I was certain that with so many people filing insurance claims, it was going to be an uphill battle to get any results. This is the first time I have filed a claim with Swyfft, and I am proud to say this is an outstanding company that gives excellent service. I filed my claim and before I could even wonder what would happen next, the adjuster was here, got everything done, and Valerie W had the reins. That lady contacted me and kept me informed of everything. In just a few days, she sent an email letting me know that my check was issued. I am so happy that my home is insured by this company and very impressed with the way they handled my claim. Needless to say, they have a loyal customer here.

My home was recently impacted by the TX frozen weather and a inspector from Swyfft visited my home soon after my claim to carry out the insurance claim inspection. He wear company uniform and knocked my door with smile and brief introduction. We welcome him in and briefly describe what happened during the piping system failure and its consequence. He carefully listened and then started to his inspection work. The first impression is good with his polite way. He checked moisture at every spot which could be water damaged, measured any dimensions he needed, took photos and videos, making notes, asking information/questions to customer he needs, etc. I observed his dedicated work, and I can strongly feel the difference between him and other contractors. In a word, he is very professional which representing the standard and job quality from Swyfft, and I am expecting the claim settlement moves smooth and as quick as possible.

Swyfft I am shocked that this company is able to stay in business

I am shocked that this company is able to stay in business. We have been through an additional 2 hurricanes since I first filed my claim back in August. They closed my claim however now they will not return either my phone messages or emails. My roof was extremely damaged in Laura and then more so in Delta. I had 3 quotes, all of which said I need a new roof. I lost 250 foot of privacy fence. Swyfft offered me $750 for the roof and $1800 for the fence. Obviously this is unacceptable. I have been calling and emailing daily, as has my contractor, trying to schedule another adjuster to come out. No one will answer me. This has been going on for over a month now to no avail. This company is extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend them. If you are contacting your insurance company then obviously there is a problem and you want someone who is going to work with you and communicate with you to resolve it as quickly and smoothly as possible. Well that is not how these people operate!

Swyfft Had obvious hail roof damage like many houses in the neighborhood, They used a drone for inspection

Had obvious hail roof damage like many houses in the neighborhood, They used a drone for inspection. We requested a person physically walk the roof like we did personally to witness the damage. They did not respond to this request. Our claim was denied due to algorithms? ? When they inspected our roof their report noted that our window screens were missing (it's too hot here to open windows) and that there was a small dent to the garage door which does not affect its function and neither have anything to do with the roof damage. They tried to indicate our house was in poor condition. We have vinyl siding and use a lawn service. We live under a HOA and a POA and we would never get away with a bad property image. We were cancelled after 7 years with this company. Pay for a reputable company! Don't go cheap, Poor customer service, ignored our calls, Cancelled by e-mail. I would give no stars if possible. For the money I spent on this company I could have paid for a new roof out of pocket.

Swyfft I procured homeowners insurance on my second home , South Jersey

I procured homeowners insurance on my second home , South Jersey. I am the owner and procured as such. The home is not rented and used for summer, weekend and short getaways during the week . The home is not vacant , as my mom stays most of the time. a tree fell on the house Christmas 2020. The company denied my claim saying, I did not live in the home at time of policy inception and that I never lived in the home. I didn't not lie or purger myself , as it seems the Truth is highly over rated ! My claim was for Dwelling and structure only , not contents. Tragically , I have filed with Banking & Insurance board and this is ongoing . They never provided any emergent care to me , I was left to repair & secure the home on Christmas Day .Once the claim was filed, never could speak with anyone, all done via Portal. Home owners is just for this reason, a catastrophic event. I could have paid this insurance for 20 more years and never realized I was not actually insured ! They should ask these important questions, before issuing a policy not after a claim .

Swyfft I had a very good experience with my insurance provider

I had a very good experience with my insurance provider. A tree fell on my house in October causing a lot of damage to a portion of the roof, the interior of the room below it, and my fence. An adjuster came within a week, followed by a structural engineer. Both were very thorough. I worked with one loss claims person the entire time. The e-mail communication was good, but it took time between my questions and the response while the claims person was gathering all of the information in order to provide a complete and accurate response. I was told that I would have a fight on my hands with any insurance company, but that wasn't the case. All of the service companies that stepped in immediately (roof tarp, emergency tree removal, fence repair) were paid in a timely fashion. I sent all of the invoices and followed up to be sure that they were paid. The claim process is now complete and all of the repairs have been made. My insurance provider fully paid the invoiced amounts, including extensive roof repairs, without any resistance or negotiation. I would recommend my insurance provider.

Swyfft Well I've been with swyfft for less than 30 days and what can I say

Well I've been with swyfft for less than 30 days and what can I say... They are bad, seemingly scam bad. First they try to demand me to let them in a house I don't own yet or have keys to lol. Then they get in run around ahead of the landscapers while they are working, so they can take pictures of palm bushes touching the house... News flash they were getting removed anyway. They incorrectly called a shed a guest house. And then complained about a storage shed missing a piece of facia. Oh and some siding that needed to be re snapped. Now no problem I intended to fix all this anyway when I bought me starter home. The problem is I get an email less than a week after closing saying that I didn't abide by the underwriters requirements and they are canceling my insurance... First off you never gave me these alleged "requirements". Second you don't actually contact the people you hide behind a broker because you know your full of it. Third and final not only will I fix all this before cancellation, I've seen other complaints of this foul and immoral play with your company, I think someone should start looking into a class action lawsuit. Bottom line be careful with this company, they may have no requirements but they are most likely in league with lenders to steal land by canceling quick and trying to get your mortgage repealed.

Swyfft The experience with Swyfft, and our claim owner Chris, has been extremely poor

The experience with Swyfft, and our claim owner Chris, has been extremely poor. It is the end of September and our claims were initiated in July. Service was slow and painful and the only way we received any answers was because we left voicemails/called consistently. I am not sure we would have ever been updated without us initiating contact. Not only did Swyfft never even think about sending their own employees to our house to look at our issues, the company they recommended and assigned to our claims sent unprofessional and "scamming" personnel. While Chris stated we could find our own companies he "highly recommended" we use them because it would make it easier for him. A second claim was only every initiated because an employee from Guardian ( Swyfft's recommended company) stated we "obviously" had damage from our roof in the rest of our home and he continued to quote extensive damage. This "obvious" damage started a slew of companies and people coming through our house from Chris' initiation (during a pandemic) because then he didn't believe what his recommended company had quoted. We were promised by Chris on multiple occasions that no more people would be coming through our home, only to have more companies out and he even sent the wrong water mitigation part of a company when he really meant to send the construction side. It was uncomfortable and unfair. We were always accommodating and each time we called for updates we left a voicemail and when we did get through to Chris he couldn't remember who we were. At one point, he stated "the roof will be covered" and we later found out this wasn't true. (We have the exact date of this conversation if you would like to look through Swyfft's recorded calls). We also tried at one point to contact Chris' manager Beth C. We were told we couldn't get her phone number but were provided her email and Chris stated he would have her call us. We emailed and never heard back anything. In general, your company caused us weeks of disarray and unsafe conditions with lines of people coming through our home ( not all wearing masks) during a pandemic. The sad part is, if someone from your company had come out initially or the right people would have been sent to our home in the beginning, this would have been resolved quickly. (Saving your company money and us peace of mind). I would never recommend your company or its "preferred vendors" to anyone trying to do the right thing for their home.

Swyfft Swyfft is a terrible insurance company that doesn't respect people

Swyfft is a terrible insurance company that doesn't respect people. Here is my story To Whom it may concern:The date my loss occurred was April 23. It was due to a burst supply line on an upstairs toilet that appears to have flooded water into the house the entire day. When I got home, I contacted insurance and they had a remediation team out onsite right away. It took over a week for the remediation team to get everything removed and dried. During this time they were not careful and broke several things including the granite which made it unusable. The mitigation company (***) took 360 degree photos of all of the damage using a Matterport camera. Through this time, my insurance adjuster, Tyre ***, was very supportive, helpful, and responsive.I am not sure who provided the first estimate of damage, but I was lead to believe (by Tyre) that the estimate was performed by *** using the Matterport photos. The *** rep who was supposed to provide the estimate entered my house 1 time, and only stayed for about 15 minutes. During this time he was very offensive, unprofessional, and rude, so we told Tyre that we would not be allowing *** to handle our remodel because of the way their employee had acted. I performed a lot of the leg work getting bids and estimates for much of the damage, including replacing the cabinets from the same company that had built the originals. It took approximately 2 months for the first estimate to be issued (on or around June 9th). It was very low, $24,719. I had estimates from 2 contractors for ~$65,000 and $82,000. I spent the night going over the list in great detail to determine what was missing. On June 10th, I responded with a list of places where they had missed measurements, made mistakes, left things out, etc. I requested that they send an additional amount of money. When I provided the missing items, I put everything into an excel spreadsheet and labeled each line item according to the estimate that was provided to me for ease of viewing by Tyre. The items that were completely missing were not given a line item and were highlighted to show that they didnt have a line item on the original estimate.I got no response from Tyre by e-mail, although it was requested on several occasions (July ***). I sent cabinet estimates and contractor estimates. During this time, it would take 3-4 attempts with voicemails left with Tyre to get a response by phone. On the phone I was always told some variation of Im looking over what you sent in. Sometime in late July or early August I was told over the phone some variation of the check is in the mail. I was told repeatedly Im going to take care of you, this is a terrible situation, I appreciate you being so patient, etc. Come to find out, the check in the mail was a check for appliances, not for the rest of the damage. At this point, my house has been without a kitchen for 4 months. Im finally told in early August that they will not be providing any more funds for renovations, despite having quotes from multiple contractors showing that the amount of damage they have listed is woefully inadequate (off by at least $35,000). At this point, they invoked a clause of a demand for appraisal, where I had to provide a public appraiser and Swyfft had to provide an appraiser. They got together and went over the damage at my house on 9/17 (almost 5 months now without a kitchen). I was finally notified of their judgement on December 10th (8 months without a kitchen). On the date that I received the judgement, Tyre was also copied on the e-mail from the appraisers. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything I had to send an e-mail to get her to acknowledge receipt of the e-mail. At this point it was passed on to another group and handled. My kitchen was finally put back together on 1/15. The only reason the work was completed this early was because I was financially capable of funding some of the repairs myself while I was waiting on the payout. If I had not prefunded the kitchen cabinets and granite, it would have taken at least another 6-8 weeks to be completed, as that is how long it took from paying for the cabinets until the granite installation was completed. Many homeowners would not be in this position, so they would have to wait even longer to get their lives back in order. I feel that throughout this process, Tyre *** was either incompetent, intentionally malicious, or some combination of the two. Listed below are just some of the offenses:Hung up on me on multiple occasions. Always said it was an accident, but it was always at a time when I was asking tough questions, or was clearly unhappy with how things were going. Accidents of course happen, but the details around each situation make it look like a pattern of behavior. One occasion when she hung up on me, she called back immediately to tell me her phone was dead and she would call me back when it was finished charging. She called me back 2-3 days later. Many occasions (10+) phone calls were not returned when they were promised, i.e. Ill call you on Monday and I didnt receive a call until Wednesday or didnt receive one at all until I called first.Consistently confusing my claim with the claim of someone else. Was always nice on the phone until I asked a question that she either didnt know the answer to, or didnt want to answer, at which point she became very rude and irritable, or on several occasions disconnected the call (see previous point). On numerous occasions there was a crying baby (she shared with me that she had a young daughter) on the phone seemingly screaming right into the speaker. This is understandable on occasion given the current state of the world, but it is unprofessional to conduct business in this manner on regular occasions. I do not believe that Tyre, or Swyfft acted in good faith, or in a reasonable amount of time on most occasions. I was misled during the 2 months that Tyre was claiming to review my edits to the appraisal. In the end the public appraisers agreed that the damage was $107,000. I think the large discrepancy in value shows that Tyre was unprepared to handle a claim of this size.

Swyfft My house had plumbing sewer back up during the recent Ice storm in Houston

My house had plumbing sewer back up during the recent Ice storm in Houston. My adjuster was initially Allie C..but some time in the middle of the claim process it was changed to Kim A. I was told to intially upload all my pictures to the Swyfft website but was NEVER SENT THE CORRECT LINK FOR THIS AFTER ASKING FOR IT NUMEROUS TIMES. She has been very difficult to get a hold of. We were emailing for about a week and then nothing. I have not heard from her since the 16th of March. I have emailed her multiple times and have gotten NO response. I have NO idea what I am supposed to be doing, what is supposed to be happening, and how this claim process works. I need someone who CAN ACTUALLY HELP ME. I need to know what the steps are to getting back into my house. What needs to happen next. Who is supposed to help me to do what. Please contact me regarding this claim. I cannot get ANY WORK DONE because I have ZERO HELP.

Texas had a winter storm in Feb 2021... I had pipes burst in my home due to this. I quickly started a claim to get repairs done in 2 of the 3 bedrooms in my home on Feb.17th. I was contacted via e-mail and told to submit quotes, a damaged items list and that I would be receiving a call from our adjuster to review my claim on either the 29th or 30th of March. It is now April 1st. I have sent numerous e-mails with no response. This company makes it very difficult to get a live person on the phone. We are on day 43 of my open claim and nothing has been resolved. When I call to try and speak to my adjuster or anyone for that matter I am told that unfortunately they can't get someone on the phone for me. The only thing they state they can do is forward me to the agents voicemail. As a paying customer I should be able to have access to speak to someone regarding my claim. I am not happy with the service I have received and don't want other people to be taken advantage of.

A claim was submitted on 2/18 for repairs from the Winter Storm that hit that Houston area. It took several calls and messages to get in touch with someone. Since then, my claim has been transferred to 4 different agents and I have only heard from the second one assigned. I have been providing with a link that inconsistently works. I have mold on a wall, a exterior faucet that does not work, have been without heat/AC since the storm hit with three children under the age of 13, and have water damage in the garage. I have left numerous urgent messages with random reps and have yet to hear back almost two months after the claim was made. I do not see a resolution in sight with dealing with this company.

Swyfft We filed a claim on roof damage for out house

We filed a claim on roof damage for out house. Swyfft sent me a claim confirmation email with my adjustors phone number and email. The phone number went straight to voicemail and he was non-responsive to emails. After calling swyfft back, they said I needed a "link" to chat with my adjustors which they would send me, though it may take 24 hours. As well as adding a comment into the chat to have the adjustor call me directly. This happened for three days in a row. The claims department claims there is no other way to contact the adjustor or pursue my claim. When talking to a supervisor he also claimed there was nothing he could do other than email swyfft and give me their contact number. While talking to the customer service representative at the contact number she claimed all she could do was transfer me back to the claims department. This seems like a scam or a run-around as there is no resolution for me to be able to track my claim which I have been paying for.

Swyfft Texas had a winter storm in Feb 2021

My residence suffered some damages due to Hurricane Sally. I called our homeowner's insurance company (Swyfft, LLC) and filed a claim. I subsequently received two checks and noticed both checks did not have routing numbers or account numbers. As a result, my bank will not cash nor deposit the checks and I am unable to fix the damage to my residence. Aside from my frequent emails to the Swyfft claims adjuster regarding this issue, I've tried to contact Swyfft through its customer service line six times. I've left a total of six messages since November 4, clearly stating the aforementioned issues and requesting someone contact me to fix the issue. To date, no one from Swyfft has contacted me via email or phone and the issues with my residence are getting worse.

Swyfft I filed a hail damage claim on May 28

I filed a hail damage claim on May 28. I was assigned a agent Vickie S. The appointment was setup and we had a roofing company send over a person to meet the adjuster only to find out that it was a guy with a drone. I hadn't heard back so I called and emailed on June 11. I finally get an email that our claim was denied. I cannot believe this company does all claims via a drone. There no way that hail and wind damage can be seen from drone pictures. The roofing company rep said that Swyfft is the hardest company to deal with all most claims are denied. Why do we pay insurance if we cannot file a claim and have it approved. I am filing this ComplaintsBoard.com report and I am going to contact an attorney. Our insurance is about to renew in August and I was told that dealing with Swyfft can take months if ever to be approved. If our roof needs to replace due to hail and wind damage we shouldn't have to fight months to have a claim approved. We paid our policy in full and shouldn't have to be denied because they will not send out a person to go on our roof and check the damage.

I filed my claim after hurricane Sally. Since then they have changed my claim adjuster 3 times without notification to me. I have emailed my current adjuster 5 time over the past 2 weeks and have not received a single reply. I submitted my personal property paperwork and photos over 3 weeks ago and still not heard a word. I have a quote from a general contractor that I need to submit but my adjuster will not return my emails. I do not want to call a attorney but I am afraid I will be left with no other choice. The claims phone number that is given on the website is useless if you do not know your adjusters extension. Since I have been bounced between adjusters I cannot even attempt to call. Not to mention the initial payout for the claim was absurdly low, they did not even use the correct tax rate for my area.

I filed a claim due to storm damages from a recent hurricane. Swyfft open my claim quickly and assigned me a claim's adjuster. The adjuster changed several times at the beginning of the claim. I tried calling several times; however; I could never reach any of the adjusters. Someone, not my claim's adjuster, called me to advise an in person inspection would be set up to assess the damages to my property. About one to two weeks after the inspection, I was notified through the portal that my claim was finished and closed out and was also advised of the value of the check I would be receiving. There was no explanation or break down of the check or how they arrived at the value. I have tried calling several times and left numerous messages. To date, I have not received a return call. Now when I call I am only able to get in touch with new claims. They refuse to assist and are addiment that they do not have the capability to transfer a call to existing claims. I asked to speak with a level of management and was told it was not possible. This is information I am needing and I am taking their lack of communication and willingness to work with me as a refusal to supply to requested information.

Swyfft The freeze caused a pipe to burst in my house on 2/16 at 4:30 PM

The freeze caused a pipe to burst in my house on 2/16 at 4:30 PM. I called the City of *** and requested water shut off at 4:33 PM. Water flooded master bedroom, bathroom, and closet, the secondary bathroom, and a secondary bedroom closet. I filed the claim at 5:00 PM and immediately began mitigating what damage I could. Water was pouring in right next to electricity; was advised to cut power. Found other lodging and awaited further information from Swyfft. Swyfft sent an agent to inspect the damage on 2/18 and did not give me an estimate for repairs until 3/5. Their portal for customers has been down since 3/4. I have not been able to contact anyone at Swyfft besides a call center which cannot transfer calls since 3/9. I have not been given any reimbursement for the demolition I had to pay for or my housing, both of which are covered by my policy. I do not have a functioning bathroom in my home and, because an inspector on 3/15 confirmed that some sheetrock and insulation is still wet and I am unable to heat my home (which would cause mold and mildew to grow), I cannot live in my home. I have sent my receipts for housing and repairs to Swyfft and no one has called me back. They are not honoring the terms of my homeowners insurance policy. They also quoted the damage at $7,000, and the multiple contractors I have had come look at my house have all quoted numbers in excess of $20,000. I shared this with Jessica Defnall at Swyfft on 3/9. I have not heard back from anyone at Swyfft who is handling my claim since then.

Swyfft Swyff Homeowners insurance is a horrible company

Swyff Homeowners insurance is a horrible company. I opened a claim in the beginning of June and I'm still battling with the insurance company to pay to fix my kitchen which had flooded due to my pipes busting. My carpet have grown mold. The adjuster stopped answering my calls on my phone number that she had so I used my work phone and she answered with excuses to why she haven't worked on my claim. The adjuster called me one time at 9 PM to talk about her and her boyfriends relationship nothing to do with my claim. The only thing the company have done so far was to send there adjuster out without first talking to me, then said that I wasn't home in which I still work so why would you not ask me what day before you just send anyone to someone's home. But, my dad was there and let him inside and he did the appraisal and didn't write anything down in writing and left his business card. According to the claims adjuster he could not get inside and no one was home. This insurance force you to use there contractor which is ***, I explain that I didn't like there reviews and we had a word match and now I'm still waiting. She called me yesterday asking for *** which is the construction team which I chose to quote my damages. She didn't like there cost so she stated she will be sending out there own to quote in which she should have did that before anyone was paid. Now she's saying that she will cut me a check. I want my home back in the same order. Why would I have to go out and piece my home back together and I found my builder?

Swyfft I have had a problem with Swyfft not being Swyfft!

I have had a problem with Swyfft not being Swyfft! When it came to a claim that was filed in February with them due to a flood that occurred in the house that I was in for 10 months. At the beginning the company had sent out an estimator for the damages at the beginning who at that time sent out a contractor to rip out the damaged gear being the cabinets, wood flooring, sink, old cement board, and knocked holes in the walls to dry out the walls. This again occurred in February and here we are 6 almost 7 months into this and still there has been only one dispersal of $6000 to start the process. We were told that there needed to be two more appraisals done on the repairs that would be needed and we would need to get them on our own. This had to occur before they would continue the claim. We got another contractor to give an estimate and then we needed to contact another contractor. Due to Covid it took some time but finally got the third appraisal sent in and we have yet to hear from them on the final outcome. At the time of this writing we have been without a usable kitchen and a dilapidated half bath and laundry room is not usable at this time. Many times I have called and sent emails to try and resolve this issue and have been met with unprofessional interactions with workers there that is if I am lucky to get any response. At this time I feel that this company is lacking in supporting their clients in their time of need. The stakeholders in this company may need to refocus their efforts and work on helping people when needed and to get the staff to contact people back when they are requesting help. I have this for just this situation and paid into this and now they should be paying us. At this time the agent is on a two week vacation? This needs to be taken care of ASAP.

Swyfft My house was flooded by my hot water heater

My house was flooded by my hot water heater. I called insurance and Sunday 12/06 night when I returned home and seen damages. They gave my adjuster number and stated he should be calling me that night or the next day. I called him that Monday morning and he stated that he was going through his emails and will get back to me once he finished with them. So no call on Tuesday 12/08 had to get a restoration company to come out and dry out my home. Adjuster decided to call as I was calling to complain about him not contacting me with third-party customer service, he left a message at Standard time 4:50 requesting to give him a call on tomorrow between the hours of 9-5 pm. I called him on Wednesday as the restoration company was there he told me again he was very busy and he has only 15 min. He asked questions and I asked him about my living status. He stated to me that as long I have a working kitchen and one restroom my home is livable. Not to mention all my sheetrock is out in my garage, bedrooms, washroom, and attic because of water damages. I have not talked to my adjusterJamar since the 9th of December. I have emailed him, left voicemail, and instant messaging through the swift system. I have been staying at a hotel since Sunday, December 6th, and have not discussed anything about reimbursement. I have left numerous messages and nothing. I am contacting the *** Department of Insurance regarding this issue. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. I have spent $1000.00 on hotel fees. I am very disappointed in this company and I would not recommend anyone to this insurance company where you cannot speak to anyone in the chain of command. Everything is done by a third party. Who is going to pay for my house when I am paying every month for this insurance and is never late. But I cannot get a response from no one.

Swyfft My oven starting beeping around 9:00 p

My oven starting beeping around 9:00 p.m. on August 26th, I went downstairs to see where the noise was coming from, it was my oven. I call my son to come pull the oven out from the wall so he could unplug it. That's when I saw the wall was wet and filled with mold. I called Swyttf my insurance company to filed a claim on August 28th. I was assigned to a claim adjuster, Admanda Q who began the process being rude and difficult to work with. I asked for another claim adjuster because Amanda showed no interest in my claim and was not trying to help. An inspector was sent out to my home to inspect the situation and see what was causing the problem. He looked at the wall behind the oven and said it was coming from that area. A few days afterwards I called Amanda to get an update on my claim she told on they were going to deny my claim. Afterwards I got an email from her "DENIAL OF CLAIM". I called and file another claim for the same problem two days later and got a different adjuster Alley C who was just the opposite of Admanda, helpful and working on my claim immediately sending representatives from different companies (*** who left a humidifier plug in to dry out the walls, ***, and *** to address every issue that might have existed. I called *** to check the damage who told me that my whole kitchen and bathroom up stairs would need to be re-done. A day later after all of the afford that Alley had made to cover the issues at hand, she told me that she had been told to switch the claim back to Amanda because it was the same issue that existed under Amanda's claim. Until this day September 25th my kitchen has wholes in the ceiling, walls covered in mold, and a bathroom shower torn apart. Swyfft has not fixed my home and I am still living in mold I haven't even gotten a response to my claim.

Swyfft On 07/30 I contacted my insurance company to file a claim for home damage due to a tropical storm.

On 07/30 I contacted my insurance provider to file a claim for damages to my home's roof, wood fence, and interior water damage following tropical storm Hannah. A representative quickly assessed the interior water damage and promised further evaluations. Two days later, a tarp was placed on the roof, and on 08/04, an agent used a drone to photograph the roof but ignored the interior. After querying about a thorough inspection, the claims adjuster informed me that only roof damage was recorded, overlooking the interior and fence issues. She estimated the damage at $5317.61, with a deductible of $5092.32, leaving me with a mere $225.29. Unaware of deductible options when signing up, I find this situation unacceptable. The company's failure to properly inspect and assess damages, coupled with their high deductible policy, reflects poor customer service. The negligible payout versus high deductible makes me question the value of my monthly insurance payments.

Swyfft We have had a homeowner's policy with Swyfft for several years

We have had a homeowner's policy with Swyfft for several years. After getting 3 separate evaluations on our roof, we were advised to file a claim. I explained this was what prompted us to file the claim in the first place. We had a weather damaged roof. This was confirmed by all 3 contractors, including the one we hired to replace our roof. Swyfft denied our claim stating that there was no damage. We had water coming in via the roof, into our kitchen wall and coming out 3 of our electrical outlets on one wall. We had a leak in our master bathroom during Harvey, but did not pursue another roof at that time because it never leaked again in that spot. We simply wanted to replace the roof once it was clear it became a safety issue, indoors. And also to be protected in the next hurricane season. We provided receipts showing that we had to replace the electrical outlets that water had come through. Our claim was denied via phone by a man named David G., who literally laughed and said, "I'm denying your claim, but at least you don't have to pay that $3,800 deductible." I said, "no, we will have to pay $9,000 because the roof has to be replaced." He laughed again and said he was still denying the claim. I let him go and then had to block his emails because he took to email to deny our claim several more times, when I asked him to STOP. We were told their customer service VP would be contacting us (that's what they told our agent) and never did. Supposedly they investigated this. I waited an entire month. When the new roof was actually being installed, the owner of the roofing company notified us that there were water logged, rotten boards that had to be replaced due to weather damage, before adding the new shingles there. The roofer didn't know this is where we had reported water coming in. They also wrote an official statement a week after the roof was installed and they had been paid. So they had no dog in this race. The work was done. They were simply stating the facts
