Back in 2021, I encountered medical issues that prevented me from working and paying my payments on time. Synchrony sent a reduced settlement offer of 3 payments of nearly $800 per payment. I couldn't afford this, so I had called in to secure a new settlement offer. To which I got approved for 12 monthly payments of $150 per payment. All agreements were done over the phone, and I was supposed to receive a letter confirming the agreement. I never received any letter, and after taking 2 of my payments, the bank stopped collecting and reverted back to their first offer letter that I never agreed to. I called to verify the problem to which their customer support was never helpful, they would not adhere to my request of sending me all available documents and phone recordings and would not allow me to talk to a manager or someone who could resolve my issue. Each time I've reached out to get this matter settled, they ignored me and never return calls, emails or letters. Are their claims to support customers and willingness to resolve issues are lies and fraud at best.
Desired outcome: I would like the debt cleared, and $100,00 for emotional, financial and credit damages.
