My loan servicing since sst took over
From day 1 Dec 2022 SST began taking bimonthly pmts from acct. SeedFi was previously take one pmt a month. After several phone calls assuring me the problem was corrected which it was not as the 2 pmt withdrawals a month continued I called in June and was told I was $700 in the rears on my payments since I stopped my automatic pmts in April after speaking to staff at SST each month for three months only to not have the problem resolved. So in June I called and made an arrangement to pay $130 payments twice a month to get the balance caught up on to find out they have now closed my acct and reported it as bad debt. Frustrating
Desired outcome: Reinstate my acct. to the accreted upon terms I had with Seed Fi!
SeedFi /SST
I took out a borrow and grow plan of $3000 through SeedFi. $1000 was givin to me right away and $2000 was locked in a savings account for when the loan was paid off. I liked SeedFi and had no issues with them until they sold my account to SST.
I was late for a few payments and came into some money. I decided to use this money to pay off the rest of the account and get my savings.
On July 13th, I called got the pay off amount, and paid off my account in full at 9:00 AM to the agent on the line.
At noon the same day, they "charged off my account" using the money in the savings.
I call to ask what is going on with my account on 7/24, they tell me they charged off the account and were sending me a refund for the full amount I paid $2508.79, it would be in my account within 72 hours.
I call back on 7/26 and say I have seen nothing with this refund, can you let me know what is going on? (I now get an email that a refund has been processed) and they say 72 more hours. When there is no money deposited from them, I call back on 7/31/2023. They state that the payment went out on 7/27 and I will for sure have it by Wednesday, 8/2. Still nothing on Today 8/2. So I call them back and get well it was definitely sent so call your bank, the second time I've heard this. I called my bank and they cannot see a single thing coming from SST for the refund. I call SST back, they literally seem to have no idea what is going on. They say a supervisor is escalating the situation and will be calling me back "in a very short time."
2.5 Hours later and I have still not head back. My bank states that the "72 hours" they keep telling me about is complete BS, if a refund was received it would go into my account immediately, bank is 5/3.
I think it may be time to report them to the FTC, BBB, and Take them to Small Claims Court to get this resolved, they've essentially been holding $2508.79 hostage for 19 days.
Desired outcome: I want my refund deposited into my account as I have been told would happen many times. I want someone at SST to know what they are talking about. I also wouldn't mind a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against SST.

I have called talked to someone. I was told to send them a statement of where the extra came out and also the pay off amount 4 emails later still havent got it back or heard anything but I even sent an email of a pic of where both payments showed up in my account with them im still waiting on any answer this started on 7/ 28 /23 and all I'm asking is for someone to answer

I had an account with SeedFi but they sold it to SST a few months ago. Anyway, I paid my loan off February 28, 2023. It's now the end of March and I've heard nothing bit excuses as to why they have not released my funds that were supposedly have been placed in a savings account until the loan is paid off which I paid off extremely early... And looking at all the complaints from years ago makes me ask why is SST still in business? And I feel that SeedFi is at fault as well because they are recruiting people just to make a buck and turning people's accounts over to SST knowing they are not honest...They are stealing from the customer and making up excuses that I care nothing about.. Cross River Bank needs to release my funds...

I called ahead of my due date, stated I would be late and needed to make payment arrangement. I gave them the date promised to pay. Three days after the due date the calls and texts started. I answered the call and told them that I already made arrangements. When I asked, was the arrangement documented, they said yes. BUT, that I was still late and wanted to know if I could pay today. I said no and asked why are you even calling when it is documented that I made arrangements. I was told the calls and texts would not stop, and I could either answer them or ignore them. I ignored the 5 calls and 3 texts per day and made my payment to the date promised. Even when I made they payment they still called the next day after payment was sent. After that they stopped with the excessive calls and texts. This is beyond harassment.
Desired outcome: Calls and texts are not made when customers make arrangements. Also, that calls/texts should not be excessive in one day.

I paid my loan off Jan 13, 2022. I paid off the loan early and actually overpaid by $10.00 dollars. Total owed me from SST amounts to $2256.68. I have contacted SST excess of 16 times regarding my $2256.68 Savings reimbursement only to hear bogus answers with zero resolve. Originally the loan started with Seed Fi and was turned over to SST. I did reach out to Seed Fi and their unconcerned response was, "It is out of our hands."

Seedfi sold loan now won't release savings
I have been going around and around. I obtained a loan through Seedfi Nov..2021 and found out in Nov. 2022 they had sold the remainder of the loans to SST and that all of the loan terms were found to remain the same. After making a couple of payments to SST and being charged $10 extra each time and also retaining card info they were told not to (on recorded line) I decided I did not like their business practices and wanted to terminate my account with them. I paid the account in full on Jan. 13th. I have called everyone, Seedfi and SST I get placed into a perpetual loop - no one can tell me anything and my savings has still not been released to me. I spoke with someone just Friday and was guaranteed my money to be in my account today, which it still has not. Considering the many issues, I am seeking legal counsel because of the deceitful business practices.Seedfi breached our contracts and so did SST. I want my money.

It took me over 36 days to finally get the balance on the savings, however, I never received the "interest" that the savings should have also yielded, considering the terms of my loan.

01/25/23 at 2:33pm I contacted your company requesting my principal balance on my loan less today's auto payment of $200, the representative continued. To give me inaccurate amounts which were actually payoff amounts, I then tried to reword my request asking for a break-down which showed my principal paid and the amount of interest paid to date. He (Alexander) started doing guess work and just spitting out figures that did not add up. I requested a supervisor a total of 11 times without exaggeration and he said he couldn't transfer me to a supervisor, when asked why, he said because he was doing the best he could and that he gave me the correct information. And that a supervisor would tell me the same thing. I asked him to please transfer me and allow the supervisor to tell me,
He still refused repeatedly. Then replied there was no supervisor available to speak with me. I asked to speak with another representative, and he told me he couldn't transfer me to another representative and that if I wanted to speak with another representative to hang up and call back! When asked why he wouldn't transfer me to another representative, his reply was "because I already gave you the correct information, but you said I was lying!". I instantly corrected him, stating, "I never called you a liar, I said your figures were inaccurate. Then he told me there was no other representative to transfer me to. I asked are you telling me there's no supervisor available, and there's no other representative for you to transfer me to so you're the only representative in the entire company servicing customers today? Livid as can be 30 minutes in, trying to talk to anyone at your company besides this rude and highly disrespectful representative you have as the 1st contact of your company. I have never in my entire life encountered such dealbreaker customer service.36 mins in, this has been an exhausting journey and I finally get him to agree to have a supervisor call me back, but he refused to give me a turnaround time for that to happen. He spoke with a foreign accent, and I believe he gave me a bogus name, but I can honestly tell you his conduct definitely does not shine a reputable light upon your company. I am having a similar issue. I paid off my loan due 3 months early due to their poor business practices and terrible customer service. As of this morning, it's been 25 days and I still do not have my savings released. I was told on Friday that I would have it deposited into my account by Monday and of course like every other day, it isn't here. I have been told to wait a few days each time and nothing has changed. When I call Seedfi, they eedee me to SST. When I call SST, they say it is Seedfi that is the problem and they quickly refer me to the same loop of people over and over again. The last person I spoke with was Jose Case. I have spoke with him multiple times and he was less than helpful. I have them on video and audio guaranteeing I would have my savings released on 3 separate occasions to no avail. I am seeking legal counsel in response to this because Seedfi breached the terms of our contract as well as SST breaching them during this transition. I was even appalled that I had to pay extra money in order to make a payment. This has caused me a lot of pain and suffering...I am looking at beginning a class action lawsuit because of the many, many problems this has caused.
SST Savings reimbursement
My name is Randy Welnetz, my SST Acct: [protected]. My loan initially was from Seed Fi., they were sold or merged with SST. My loan was paid in full 12/3/2022. SST claims my loan was not paid off until 12/13/2022. I have attempted numerous times to get my refund from SST with zero results. I actually overpaid my loan by 35.00 dollars. Total owed to me from SST is 3035.00. Every time I have contacted SST, I have gotten various answers such as it could take up to 30 days. 3 weeks following total payment of my SST account I was told they now have capability to do wire transfer, 3 weeks ago refund was only available by mailed check. On 1/5/2023, I provided my Banking acct, routing and checking acct. numbers for SST wire transfer. I was told it could take up to another 30 days before I would receive my funds. Some serious fraudulent activity is going on with SST. I sincerely believe they are withholding my funds as long as possible so they can accrue more interest to add to their acct. I am exhausted attempting to get a legitimate answer regarding reimbursement of my funds. SST should be investigated regarding their fraudulent and deceitful tactics!

They want answer emails and put you on eternal hold and then want answer when you call back. I want to cancel my transaction with them and I don't know how to accomplish this. I made a payment for the month of January, 2022. The incompetent, ditzy customer service rep keyed in the payment wrong (even though I use the same payment method everytime I pay). The payment is in the system, my bank confirmed they pulled the payment, but SST is sending me collection notices and collection calls for a payment they have in their system. They keep telling me they are going to fix the problem. It has been 21 days, and they payment is still in the system, but they claim they don't know why it is not posted to my account.
Do not fund with this company. They are a FRAUD. They stole my money and are recording everyday late because they refuse to process the payment to my account.
They also supposedly have "supervisors" that don't exist.
I see them having a Class Action suit in the near future.

I am so pissed, they take forever to refund when they charge you twice, but if I would have been one day late on a payment them I would get a negative mark on my credit report. And when you call you speak with a different person every time and they ask your information everytime. They have messed up my budget for this month and they way they operate I will not get my refund back until the end of this month. They have harassed the crap out of us over payments one day late. Additionally they tried to tell me last night that I have a daily interest rate loan. I have the original contract when I purchased my boat before this got sold to SST. It is a fixed interest rate loan. No one can show me where they have the right to charge me $4.95 per day and why my payoff is way more than I owe.
The same thing happened to us this month and 2 months ago. They claimed we made a web payment as well as our automatic payment. Which is not true bc on the web site you make a payment they charge you an extra 5 bucks. We ended up disputing it with our bank again instead if waiting on them to refund us.
Be careful bc they also change their stories a few times before they settled on the lady one. This company is so shady and I am not sure how they an A+ rating on BBB.

I have been charged my monthly payment twice in one month more than once. Each time has been the fault of the company and they give a hard time for the additional charge to be refunded. The process takes at least a month, in which the next payment is due so the refund becomes pointless. This throws off the budgeting for the customer. Additionally, no one ever seems to have an idea of how to resolve the situation, although they can see an additional payment was charged. When the refund is finally approved, it is sent as check through the mail which makes the process even longer and more inconvenient.

My husband and I have a joint loan on our RV. His credit report says we are current, but mine is showing we are 30-60 days late, with February's payment showing not made. What the heck? These people are a joke! We've also been paying on this loan for 2 years, but my credit report says we have paid off 0% of our loan. How can you pay on something for 2+ years and have paid off 0%? I have made several Attempts to contact this company over a Estate Claim they have on a Estate account and I keep getting a runaround with the people that i need to talk to are never at work they are all ways out of the office.
they started off with a 20k claim and after they got the Boat back the claim was Amended to 5k and i am not able to get anyone on the phone that can help me with this. like i said every time i call they are not at there desk and i have left message to call me and i have never gotten a call from the Rep's nor have i been able to call in and get them on the phone. i am always asked to leave a message and they will call me back.
If i can get anyone on the phone that i can talk to i am going to ask for a brake down of the sale of the boat. at this point my Attorney is going to close the Estate account out and they will be excluded due to not ever able to talk to someone.
my Attorney has call as well with the same runaround. they are not able to furnish any claim to the Estate and keep telling me they no longer have the file that they need. but the department that does is never at work and no one seems to be at there desk if these people even exist.
poor communication from phone system
I have been a customer to SST for 14 years and their customer service is very poor. The main phone line puts customers through too many prompts and questions from the actual representative which can cause a person forget what they need assistance about. I called 5 times trying to dispute a charge and got disconnected three times and a representative referring to me as "honey!" Very poor customer service hands down! I am going to close this account once I receive my new card from a more reputable credit company.

On March 31, 2016 at 2:02 pm, I received a call from the aforementioned company. It was an automatic dialer. When I answered the phone an automated message stated, "Please hold for an important call." It then hung up on me. Today ... Saturday, April 2, at 8:04 am, it happened again.
Infuriated with receiving a "prank" wakeup call, I called them back. I sat on hold until I finally spoke with a "Customer Service Representative". They are far ... FAR from that.
On The 30th I paid $50.00 on my account. $18.46 was due on April 1, 2016. So why call the very next morning? Apparently, as Katelyn so happily explained. It was a service call because they did not receive my payment by midnight. She did not explain why they called the day before my payment due date. However; she was happy to say that they were working well within their legal rights under the Ontario standards act. What a freaking BS line. Nobody wants a service wake up call because their bill payment is supposedly late. She said it was to preserve my credit ... again, a lie! Unless a payment is 30, 60 or 90 days late, it will not effect my or anyone's credit.
Every month I pay $50 on a bill that is less than $20.00, so, why call and harass a customer 2 days before and the morning the bill is due.
I think the truth about how SST treats customers should be posted all over the world. Any company that harasses people who are making payments on a regular basis, without issue, is not worthy of the title customer service agency.
To tell a customer that it is their fault because they should have made the payment 3 to 4 days prior to the due date is wrong. They do not have a proactive can do attitude, what they have a making blame and threatening a customer's credit attitude.
In my personal opinion, NO company should sign a contract with SST Financial. I blame Citibank for getting into bed with SST. Citibank treated their customers with respect and were kind, SST does not. They are a horrible company!

This company is awful ! I was 5 days late with a payment. Called and gave them a date for the next week for the payment. They will not take it off auto dial-- they call every hour. When answered it hangs up. This is harassment in my opinion ... never will I deal with that company again!
