Tantrum had led me to believe they was a company called easilocks they wasn't that company and was trying to pass there own hair of a cheaper quality as easilocks I paid a deposit of £100 . The next day I asked for a full refund due to them falsely leading me to believe they was another company they ten went to take a further £950 out of my account . I realised asked again for my money back they refused swore at myself am my staff they told me they would make my company go under I was extremely upset . I file a complaint with citizens advise and I have requested a charge back with my bank ... They have been removed social networking sites due to them copying other people's product and trying to train people in those products ... Don't be fooled tantrum have bad customer serice they steal and lie .

Never ever go here they are liars and have the worst customer service I have ever witnessed from a company. The hair used is awful and will last you all of about 3 weeks max they give false aftercare. They have no idea what they are talking about. 5 of my friends have unfortunately been here along with myself and what a mistake we all made. Be warned

I received hair extensions from Tantrum and had my own fully qualified hairdresser put them in, the hair was "supposedly" top quality Russian hair and not cheap!
The first time I washed my hair, and before I could even add shampoo they was a horrible burning smell, my hair afterwards was hard, frizzy and started breaking off.
My hairdresser looked and said the hair was not real but synthetic and the cheapest type available, the extensions even started changing Colour and going pink!
Both myself and my hairdresser have tried to get a refund from Tantrum who have lied, accused me of not looking after the hair ( I've had 3 previous lots of extensions) and have refused to acknowledge that the hair itself is to blame - I'm seriously out of pocket, have had to pay another supplier for different new good quality hair and am disgusted at Tantrum and would advise others to look elsewhere - they are a disgusting, untrustworthy, liars :(

Good quality hair that's poorly applied and dire customer service.
Really wish I hadn't spent my hard earned money in this place.
The hair extensions are actually good quality but, they have been poorly applied in my hair.
If you have money to throw away, are looking for nice-ish hair while having a miserable time in the process, then this is your place.

I've had 2 lots of hair applied by the lovely ladies at tantrum and maintenance in between. The hair is excellent quality which 2 different hairdressers have confirmed. I managed to get 6 months from the first lot, would have lasted longer if I hadn't of killed it with so much heat from straighteners. I always request Sam to do my hair as she is very experienced and I only lost about 8 strands between appointments which is good as they say you usually loose around 20. Only downside is that I have had to get my hairdresser to even the hair up as the girls have basic hairdressing skills. Would absolutely recommend tantrum to all my friends.

Do not use this Salon unless you want to be abused and ripped off. My daughter recently attended the salon for maintenance to her hair. They had agreed a price of £100 which they were advertising on Instagram. On completion of her hair they demanded £150 saying it had taken longer than expected. They bullied her into paying ganging up on a young girl. I rang them to receive a very unhelpful manager who has since screamed and shouted at me calling me a skinflint and hung up the phone. I have never experienced such a hysterical rant of abuse merely for pointing out they were in breach of contract.

I think you guys are crazy, iv been going there since they opened..never have they ever put bad quality extensions in my hair always lasted so long! I am so passionate about my hair and trust this company 100%, i think you will find some of these bad reviews are just competitors trying to warm people away because they know there doing so well..i have never come across so much BS in my life hair being synthetic? "The first time I washed my hair, and before I could even add shampoo they was a horrible burning smell, my hair afterwards was hard, frizzy and started breaking offf" no matter if it was synthetic or bad quality hair, no hair would do this by just having contact with water.

DO NOT GO HERE! Worst hair extension experience I've ever had!
I first had my micro rings half-head after I saw an offer of theirs for £150. The people working there are all 18-22 at most so how much experience can they really have?! My hair was first done and it looked great. Over the next two weeks I had over 27 bonds fall out. After calling to query this, a very rude lady asked me "well, what have you done" my response was "nothing, that's why I'm calling". She then proceeded to tell me that this had happened because I hadn't purchased their hairbrush. I informed them that I had never been sold this hairbrush and felt disappointed that I wasn't informed of the correct aftercare process. If this really was the case and my rings had fallen out because I didn't have the correct hairbrush, then I should have been advised on this initially. After a further two calls they agreed that I could come back in and have them put back in free of charge.

Within ten days I had over 31 micro rings fall out once again. At this point I was irrate as I knew that it was no longer due to the hairbrush or how I was caring for the hair as I followed the aftercare instructions to the T. I then went back a second time after being informed that the girl who had previously had done my hair has now been let go after receiving several complaints of hair slippage...

The micro rings are now firmly in my hair (to the point where I have now got dandruff and have been getting tensions spots on my head which are extremely sore because they are in so tightly!) After the girl (must have been no older than 19. May I also point out that this girl was supposed to be the 'head technician) had finished, she showed me my hair which was completely wonky. She had used different colour strands in my parting (WHY THE F WOULD YOU PLACE THE HAIR IN MY PARTING WHERE PEOPLE CAN SEE THEM!), and not actually put the original strands back in my hair, so now the extensions are completely visible and do not blend in at all. Originally I had ombre strands put in which matched my colour hair perfectly. She 'trimmed' the hair and left it a complete hack job. I have strands of extensions which are shorter than my real hair! At the end I was close to laughter because after the awful job she had done she then tried to charge me! I walked out of the shop and called the manager a couple of days later who said she would fix it for me. However, this would be my forth time going into the salon and I decided not to bother going! I live in london and it costs me nearly £20 to get this sorted each time. All I can say is it's been a complete waste of time and money spent in a tacky salon with under qualified 'technicians' and awful customer service!

The manager sold me 20" clip ins for the price of 24", when I called to tell her I was told to f*** off you f***ing fat f*** then hung up the phone. When I went into the shop to ask for my money back as the extensions were not used, she Called the police and banned me from the shop! Also other people I know have had the same thing happen with the bonds, they had put them in so bad her hair was falling out and they were cutting her scalp. They refused to take them out and then had to go else where and pay even more money to have them removed! Don't go there it's full of spiteful money grabbers.

I have been a client at Tantrum Hair Extensions for the past 3 years and have never looked back since! I am actually a beauty blogger with a fair number of followers and have tried various hair extension brands, however Tantrum has always come out on top. After damaging my hair with bleach, my hair really thinned, therefore when I went back to brunette I needed to thicken up my locks whilst my hair grew and this is exactly what the micro rings allowed it to do. When I saw these reviews I was honestly shocked as my experience and those friends/followers I have recommended have never had service as described above. If you'd like an honest review please look further!

I have had extensions fitted because I am at an age where I do not have a full glossy head of hair like I used to. This was a big step for me as the process is very expensive. I started off with the long look and the hair itself was fab but the style did not really suit me. I absolutely loved the volume though. When I had maintenance done ( four months later, which I left a little too late and the extensions became rather matted, so be careful with that and as soon as they start to mat, if they do, go and get them to unmat and refit) which consisted of having the strands taken out and put back in again I decided to have the style changed at the hairdresser's next door. I went for a collarbone length look and it was much better. People do not realise I have extensions and think I have a full head of thick shiny hair. It is nearly seven months later and I still have those same extensions (which I use straighteners on every time I wash my hair) and they are absolutely fine. The microlocks have naturally grown away from my scalp so they need refitting again. I am going for a refit soon again and will still be using the same extensions. I would not discourage anyone from using hair extensions and following the information leaflet provided by Tantrums to avoid some of the supposed disasters that may or may not have really happened above. For those of us who are trying to maintain as much of a youthful appearance as we possibly can, the added volume provided by extensions is a massive confidence booster. I do recommend however getting them expertly cut and styled after they have been fitted even though it seems a bit wasteful to chop off a large section of the length (it's a shame they don't come in shorter lengths for those just looking for volume rather than a mane of glamorous hair) so they look more natural.

Firstly Rebecca Roberts works in the salon, so I think this is a great example of tantrums deceitful nature - posting inaccurate reviews on this website by their employees.
I had my hair fitted and maintenance done here - when removing my extensions they broke of my own hair. I had thick long hair, either the extensions or the removal process (tearing at my hair with a comb) caused at least 7 inches of damage I was really upset.
They mislead me about the prices of hair fitting and maintenance, I was told £100 on the phone but paid £150.
I felt bullied and exceptionally uncomfortable, the girls were very nasty and unpleasant - saying nasty things about people coming in and out.
They are clearly all about the money, constantly pushing you to buy things - very cheap gypsy tactics - see people as walking checks and don't care about the damage of your real hair.
Disgusting ethics. Never encountered a more morally dubious company.

This place is a joke. First had my extensions put in by a girl who seemed to know what she was doing, colour was really well matched ans they looked great. I was moving abroad so had to get the hair taken out and repositioned after about 5 weeks. The girl taking it out looked about 16 and had no idea what she was doing she started ripping them out my hair and brushing my hair like crazy. By the time she had finished my hair was about 2 inches shorter than it had been without extensions and honestly almost half as thick. When I questioned the manager on this she patronisingly told me 'it just feels thin because you got used to the extensions'. I'd only had them 5 weeks and at 26 years old I think I know my own hair. I left the salon as I needed to get my roots done and debate whether to get my extensions out back in. I decided not too as was so upset my the state of my hair. I emailed and called the salon to get my deposit back and wanted the hair I had already paid for, but received only abuse back. It's been 5 months since then and my hair is still in an awful state, seriously do not use this salon.

My experience was with the manager of the salon who fitted my extensions, whom originally seemed very nice. As I sat there a lady came in to ask about her hair extensions, the manger and her husband treated the lady disrespectfully placing blame on her non existing appointment. From then on I had a bad feeling, I was disheartened as it was my first set of extensions. When doing my extensions I did experience a fair amount of pain. After finishing, she did not style my hair and told me once I washed it, it would blend in better. I started experiencing pain that evening. I was not made aware of any after care and given a leaflet that was not readable as the ink had run out when printing it. I googled if it was normal to have pain for a few days, which it was so I tried to ride it out. After five days and copious amounts of paracetamol I contacted the manger to ask if she could fit me in before I returned to university. I had trouble even getting a response even though I had expressed I was in a lot of pain and taking pain relief. I also asked for any advice until they could see me. Once again no response so after messaging again I got a response which bluntly asked me if i wanted them out and the cost of removal. As these were my first set of extensions I had no idea what I needed doing, there was absolutely no attempt of apologises for the pain or being able to fit me in. This extension salon is money driven and has horrendous customer service. I refused to use this salon ever again and used Glamour Work Extensions in southampton who were absolutely great and loosened them for me. They also informed me of ALL the aftercare requirements to keep the hair healthy. I would not recommend this salon for anyone. However I cannot fault the hair that was used as its still going strong. Extensions are expensive, I will never use this salon and use my money I work hard for on them. Advice to anyone considering them, Avoid at all costs.

I am absolutely disgusted that this salon has got one of their employees to write a false positive review... she was working in the salon when I was there. But not surprised! I was put off when reading these bad reviews before my appointment but stupidly went ahead. The girl who did my hair was nice, but as per the other reviews, the manager has a disgusting attitude. Her own employees even said "she needs to stop talking to people like that" and "don't take it personally, we get it too." She had me in tears because of how she spoke to me, I have no idea how they are carrying on as a business. I will say I was happy going there until things went wrong... the hair is OK, but as soon as there is even a small issue, expect to be spoken to like a piece of crap! Do not expect an apology either!

I have had my hair and ordered 4 other clients hair in the mini locks range was told its Russian hair and I am appalled how disgusting the hair is! I was recommended by my friend to use this company because it's slightly cheaper than my usual company. I will never use them again I have there hair in myself at present and it is horrendous :( I have sent hair off to them and they have came back and said it as been tested and no fault! I can barely brush it its that knotted and tangles all the time also goes like a birds nest, when you first open the packet up of course it's beautiful because it's been treated with silicone. I honestly know my hair and quality because I have been in the business for years and feel outdone by! They clearly are not honest about the quality of the hair and this cannot be Russian hair.?!?! I will carry on using my remi cachet range because it's the best hair. I feel sorry that I am having to write this in here because I do not like to slate any business but I tried so hard to show them my hair via pics/ videos and they say no fault of theres! It's clearly cheap hair and some of it feels a mix of real and synthetic hair. I honestly think they think they have great hair but think they need to finding a better manufactuer, they have lost a good client in me because I have a good client base but my clients want quality and I can't reassure this with tantrum! Feel very let down and customer service is poor. I honestly would say do your research and avoid:(

I disagree with all of the statements above. Before going to tantrum I read all of these reviews about the awful customer service and the bad quality of hair and the price of the hair seemed to me, too good to be true. This is not the case. Donna, the lady who owns the store was lovely. She fitted, styled and cut my hair within 2 hours. She was lovely, we were able to sit and talk throughout the whole session, the customer service was lovely. Her husband, I didn't catch his name took my booking. He was so helpful on the phone. I got a full head and he told me about the offers they had around which just proves they're not money grabbing! The aftercare they've provided has been brilliant but the only problem I find, as these are my first extensions and I didn't have long hair at all before, so the time difference from drying my hair changed massively which I didn't expect but I guess I should have. The salon it's self, I chose to go to the Kingston as I live directly between the Kingston and Guildford, was very clean and tidy. Donna's husband doesn't like mess which was clear when he arranged all of the hair along the back wall. I would recommend going to Tantrum for hair extensions. The quality of hair is amazing, even my friends don't notice the difference in feel between my hair and the hair extensions but also the offers and pricing they provide is crazy! 100% worth the money. I will be back!

Avoid this salon if you value your hair. The staff are not professionally trained and do not care about you or your hair. All they see is the pound signs that are in their eyes, you are treated like a piece of meat and God forbid you actually decide to complain to them as all you will get is fowl mouth verbal diarrhoea. Save your money and go else where because it will cost you more in the long run

I have never ever experienced anything like the owners . I have been going to Kingston for over a year .
Friday I was accused of theft and running away . I have left a review on the top . They have plastered me all over SOCAIL MEDIA. Name and Shame apparently?
They have been asked more then once to remove they have not, The police will be sent the images tomorrow so they will tell them to remove? I have not been ARRESTED nor charged and not been to court.

I am reporting them tomorrow to Trannding Standards. I am going to SUE for slander.
We spoke to a police officer off the record and she explained that they are not allowed to NAME AND SHAME if you have not been convicted?
Even then they are treading on flakey ground .

They don’t no my mental state ?

I could go off and do something to myself?
It’s disgusting what they have done and how they carry on...

By far the worst customer service I have EVER received. So rude, unhelpful and unprofessional! Wrong colour was sent several times, 20" received instead of 22", ordered same colour twice and it was completely different in colour. Try to tell them and they will only start an argument with you and refuse to help. That's if you're lucky enough to even get a reply! Will never use again

I'm absolutely fuming after my awful experience with Tantrum hair! The manager has no customer service skills, and is clearly after your money! She treated and spoke to me and my mother disgustingly! We went in to buy hair instead of online (thought it'd be a nice day out) I asked 2 or 3 times if the transaction was going through on my trade account with trade discount which the manager told me yes! When we got out I realised that the trade discount wasn't given. So we went back in to simply ask why and if we could have the difference back. Well nothing prepared us for the foul mouth of Donna (the manager), in all my years in business I have never been spoken to in such way! She was calling us liars, telling us to get out of her store, shouting all big eyed and trying to patronize and intimidate us! We then demanded a full refund which she point blank refused, and she was adamant she was within her rights to do so! (it states on her website full refunds are given within 7 days I wanted one after less than 1 hour)! She knows nothing about business, has no manners, nor respect! baring in mind she had a salon full of clients and children in there! A very rude, plastic, [censor]y type of salon, I would 100% avoid this place at all costs! She can keep my money if it's that important to her, I'm just annoyed at the principal of the way she went about her business! She's obviously one who wasn't bought up very well as I wouldn't dare speak to people in the manner she did me especially to someone older than me and in front of clients and children! There was no understanding or sympathy there, just goes to show what the world has come to money obsessed, fake, plastic, nasty, evil, materialistic people. Trouble is when you strip all that away people like her are nothing with an ugly personality and unhappy in thier own life! Karma will get her one day & it sounds as though that time is running thin with an attitude like that to paying customers! Who does she think she is talking so disgustingly to people she doesn't know, that support her business in her tacky little salon! I think she talks so much b*****it she actually believes herself!

Hi I am another victim of tantrums hair extensions have paid them 250 . When I had asked for half head and added extra bundle which was told is 50 pounds and then told me it’s 250 as it’s quarter . Hair is looking bad with bad hair cut . The owner when called about over charging threatened me if I don’t pay they will cal secureity . After that she didn’t take my calls . I called from withheld number to tell her I was unhappy and over charged . She then told me if I make another call she will complaint about me . I am surprised and shocked how can she say that and so rude . I am very unhappy with my hair . What Can I do . She has blocked my number so I can’t call her again .

Hi, I am another one who has had an awful experience with tantrums, I had my hair done 3 weeks ago with cost me £360 including the hair brush as I have really thick hair, I have lost six micro rings and the remaining ones have split all my hair, I have had to take them out as they are ruining my hair, I phoned the salon and all I got was a fouled mouth, arrogant women who is the manager do nothing but scream at me and try putting the blame on me, she said she had never heard of anything like that, I have had extensions for years and have never had anything like this happen before, I was recommended tantrums and they are just awful, I do not believe the hair is even real as after a few washing it was like string, the manager should be ashamed of herself charging all that money and giving such poor service, my partner has also called and wouldn’t even let him speak just screamed at him and blocked his number. I don’t no what to do does anyone have any advice as after three weeks they have been removed and completely ruined my normal hair

SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. BECAREFUL BECAUSE THEY DON'T STICK TO THEIR WORD.

I went to the salon 2 weeks ago for some clip ins. I couldn't get an exact colour match but I got the closest colour. I went down the road to Krish and found a better colour match and was back within 10 MINUTES! The girl agreed to give me a refund took the extensions back and gave ME a piece of paper to write down my account details name and number and said the money will be in my account within 5 days. It has been two weeks now and I called the salon today and the lady HUNG up the phone on me and blocked my number. I then tried calling with private number which worked but they did not answer. I messaged them on instagram and they blocked my profile.

I have worn extentions for over 10 years from various salons in London to online purchases and have never been treated so badly. I will have to go to the salon tomorrow to deal with them face to face and I will take it further if I have to. You cannot promise someone a refund and then change your mind and behave in such an unprofessional manner.

I've been to the Kingston branch several times and I usually had a good experience there, however this time I decided to come to Guildford to get a new set of extensions put in.

I got there on time for my appointment, but they were running late so I had to wait at least 40 minutes until I could have my hair done.

I have dyed orange/red hair, and was told by the woman doing my hair that there was only one red shade available, she showed it to me and it was an unnatural, bright, Halloween-wig looking shade of red, not like the natural red color I wanted. Another member of staff showed me another shade of red that they had that was much more natural looking and a way better match to my hair color, but the person who was doing my hair said that she couldn't use that color and asked me if I was happy to use the bright red that she had chosen. I said that I wasn't, but she proceeded to put them in my hair anyway.

When she had put some of them in, I told her, again, how unhappy I was with the color. At first she pretended that they didn't have any other red shades. I told her that I'd seen them, and then she said she couldn't do that because, in her words, "I don't think that would look good". She wouldn't do what *I* wanted with *my* hair that *I'm* paying for with *my* money, because she didn't like how it would look. Seriously. She kept on being very rude to me and arguing with me about not using the shade I wanted to the point I started crying and was on the verge of having a panic attack. It wasn't until I threatened to walk out that she agreed to add some of the ones I wanted to my hair mixed with the other red shade as highlights.

As she was putting them in, she applied them very aggressively. Before she'd at least been doing a good job at putting the extensions in, but now she was doing it very roughly, as if she wanted to hurt me.

Also, throughout the whole time she was doing my hair she kept stopping to take phone calls or have conversations with other staff. Very unprofessional.

As I said, I've been to the Kingston branch several times and had generally good experiences there, so I definitely recommend going to Kingston instead of this place.

I asked for more than 3 times for keratin removal and new micro rings, they said yes they do that in 2h and half.

They gave me a price. It took more than 7h, they charge me more, they SENT ME TO ANOTHER SALON TO WASH MY HAIR,
They didnt have the new hair on the shop, they asked me to go by taxi to their other shop, I asked DONNA the person in charge fir a refund, she didnt acces, even if it was her fault, she charged me more, she put less hair that I asked for, it doesnt look natural at all, she told me that the reason is because she has a lot of clients she cant focus in all the requests, she was yelling over the phone to their staff thru my phone when I called for complain, she didnt want to even hear about.

The only care is about the money not about the work they doing and the result.

If you ask me about this salon my opinion is very dishonest policy, no customer care at all, and lie to get what she want $$$ in a very rude way.

This place is NO good! Please don’t use them to place extentions. Bad service and they stole my money.
